Doc Walk rules! Calculus was incredibly hard, but not only did he teach it well in an understandable manner, he also made it fun. Quality prof.
Had him my first summer here for an APP class. Had fun in that class. Good and fair grading. Would love another chance to take one of his classes.

Very friendly and helpful.

He moves through the material way too fast.
Very unclear professor, if you hate math i would suggest finding a different professor. He is a nice person but not a good prof.
Great teacher. I actually enjoyed going to class.
Good and really fun teacher. I had Math 253 with him in the summer and have a blast !! Still talk with him sometimes eventhough I don't need to take math classes anymore :)
Awesome. He makes it as easy as he can for you. Math is always going to be hard.
he thinks he's funny, and it scares me how much he talks about back to the future, but all around he does a decent job of teaching the material
He's a nice guy, but very unclear and he moves way too fast.
Stephen was a great math teacher. Just make sure you keep up with the reading and everything and you'll do alright. He trys to make it as fun and interesting as math can get.
he makes class fun, but it is extremely difficult
He moves way too fast!
He seems arrogant at times. He is funny, but is ungodly hard to listen too. He stomps..and stomps. He is hard to listen too. His projects are ridiculous. I refuse to ever take him again! Take Cimperman for good math teaching!
The material is dreadful, but he attempts to make it as easy as possible. He makes a lot of jokes, but the majority of them arent funny (he laughs though) Overall a very good guy.
The class is very hard but he does a pretty good job of explaining things. Overall he is pretty helpful and understanding. A good teacher for a bad class.
thinks he is funny...he is not at all. He moves way too fast ans the projects are insane. There is way too much work in his class. Never take it EVER!!!!
This guy is hilarious. His class is really hard but he'll do anything to help you out, he moves fast but explains things really well and always takes questions from students.
I have to say how lucky I was to get Dr. Walk for a professor for a subject that I dread. It was a challenging class but well organized and really easy to approach him to get help. He recognizes that students don't like math and shows his witty sense of h
Stupid subjects taught but that's not Walk's fault. He trys to make learning fun with some crazy jokes. Overall he's a good guy. Make sure to study though, the tests are insane!
Great guy but a very hard course. His tests are the hardest I have ever taken. I think if you are not good with math he would probably not be the professor you would want. However if you go to see him during office hours he is very nice and helpfull.
He pretended to be funny...he wasn't, his sidekick Dr. Buske was even worse. His tests were very hard and his projects weren't related to the material. He moved way too fast and jumped back and forth thru things. If you like to fail classes, take him.
Great teacher! I love the way he teaches! Makes a hard class really fun and livens things up with jokes. You do, however, have to keep up in the class, or you will fall behind. He tends to assign zany projects, but if you know the material, they are really easy.
Great at explaining stuff, you need to keep up or ahead on homework. Make sure you ask alot of questions. His tests are hard and very detail orented (namely know your official definitions).
He is a very good teacher and helpful, but you have to do the work and try hard to do well.
Anyone who takes Math 193 and complains about its dificulty should shut up! You have no idea of how hard math can get. Try Math 221,222,325,373! Math classes are suppose to be challenging so suck it up and learn time managment, study skills, and seek help when needed! STOP COMPLAINING!!!
Great teacher. Makes math fun. Would take him again anytime!
He was a decent teacher, very energetic and fun. Nice guy, funny. I'm bad at math as it is, so that made it hard, too much D2L stuff for him. I failed the class, but that's because i'm horrible at it anyway.
Great young professor. Will take time outside of class to make sure you understand the conecpts. Livens the class up with jokes. Definately take him!
Great Professor. Math is always a difficult class, but he makes it not so bad. Tests really aren't as bad as people say they are. If you go to class and take the practice exams, you should be able to pass no problem. If you have to take this class, take it with him!
I am very good at math, taken calculus, and I hated this class. He thinks he's funny, but he's not. Lots of homework that isn't worth much of your grade. Tests are harder than he makes them out to be. Lectures are very very boring and not helpful at all. I would definelty not take this prof. again.
He thought he was funny but never was. His tests were hard, and the homework wasn't worth much. Although I've heard Buske is worse. So I'd recommend taking Triplett...A lot of my friends had him and he knew how to teach the material.
His lectures aren't worth much, I thought his class was pretty much usless. Alot of D2L work that was usless also. I failed this class, and I am good at math. If you have to take 193 I recomend Triplett. Good Luck.
I got nearly 100% in everything but the tests (Ds & Cs)... they are out-of-control hard. The tests are weighted so much that I ended up with a C as my final grade. He's a really good prof, but the work load is a little too heavy for a GenEd couse, & the tests could stand to be a little less intense.
Class was interesting, but the book interp wasn't the best. I had to retranslate my notes from the book & class, & it still didn't help me on exams, which were very difficult. Watch out for deadlines on online d2l quizzes, turn in everything on time & fully completed.See him 4help, not tutors!
Class sucked...Prof was good, willing to help and clarify but class demanded too much work for your end grade and stress throughout the semester. Online quizzes are wonderful way to keep your grade at a C...do best you can on tests, get A,B's on quizzes you'll pass with C...Talk w/ prof too if need
Awesome teacher, likes to have fun and help in anyway he can. Makes a boring subject somewhat intersting. Very easy to take some online stuff, and some group work that can be tackled pretty easy. If you do the work, and get help if needed you will do just fine. Show up and print out notes.
This class was sooooo hard. My friend failed it before taking it twice with him. He is helpful but you need to go in and see him and show that you care. Get tutor help too, some of them are good but you gotta find which one works for you. The book is so hard and he does a pretty good job of explaini
This class deals with proofs and can be very overwhelming at first. Don't get discouraged and ask prof. Walk for help when you need it. He is always willing to help his students. Great Prof., it's just a tough class.
It is very tough class. On his exam is very hard. He gives a lot of homework and some of them are even numbers. He grades homeworks which are based on the even numbers. He teach his lecture very well.
Great professor, but hard class. Try not to fall behind in your assignments and don't forget about the d2l quizzes and you'll do fine.
He is a great teacher. Made the stuff we were learning fun. It's a hard class, so the tests were hard. But overall he was a really good teacher.
Great prof. Very fun & has a sense of humor. Really cares about his students. He trys to make learning this material fun & easy. Highly recommend!
The best prof ever.He is great. He makes the material intersting and the exams are not so hard. However, the final exam is somehow different from his teaching style.Still highly reccommended.
He is easily the best professor I have ever had. Keeps things interesting and challenges the students.
Nice guy but holy lord, that class was a beast. I have a 3.5 gpa but I failed that class with flying colors. Prepare to put your social life on hold and prepare for some of the nastiest quizzes and exams the world has ever seen.
Exams are very very hard. Don't take multiple math classes during this one. Go to EVERY class. He is kinda funny and makes class seem faster.
I hated the powerpoint slides. It was very confusing for me. I failed the class but I passed with an A in Tripplet's class. He actually shows you how to do the problems. Walk is very nice guy but I'm not into his powerpoint slides.
highest score was a B, grade is very dependant on doing the homework religiously, test are very difficult and long. speed in doing the problems is neccesary to high grade
Fun teacher, tough class. He made class fun though. Gives you practice exams and that helps. The proofs can be tough!! Do the homework and put in lots of study time before tests. Definitely not a good idea to take at the same time as another math class, this one takes a lot of work!!
Dr. Walk is a very intelligent man, his tests are very hard. Over class average was 66%. Be prepared to study all the time or you won't pass. He also will grade you on your interest in the course. He may or may not have mercy on your soul!
He is very enthusiastic professor. He makes jokes throughout the semester (most are funny). His exams are a little difficult, but he is encourages meetings so you know what you did wrong and he wants the students to do good. He wants you to read the textbook, but I usually don't and I am doing good/ok. I hate doing proofs but he makes them ok.
I dont think I was so bad in maths. He really made me rethink this fact.I dont recommend this professor at all.If you wanna get good marks i dont advice this proffesor.
Difficult class - far more proofs and more abstract than most math classes. His lectures are somewhat disorganized, making it hard to follow along. The textbook is also unclear, and he doesn't post solutions to the assigned HW, so you don't know if your answer is correct. He tries to be helpful, however, via email or office hours. Not recommended.
HE IS THE WORST MATH TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD. TERRIBLE TEACHING. SPENDS A WHOLE CLASS PERIOD ON 1 PROBLEM AND DOESN'T GO OVER WHAT IS GOING TO BE ON THE TEST. HOMEWORK AND TESTS SUCK!! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE HIM AT ANY EXPENSE. WRITES EVERYTHING HE SAYS IN SENTENCE FORM ON THE BOARD I MEAN EVERYTHING. TERRIBLE!!
Dr. Walk was a great teacher. He tried to be funny with goofy little jokes, and he really goes tough the material well. There are 3 class projects that you have to use the computer for and there are 3 tests and a final. You get a practice test for each test, and all of them are similar to the real test.
Trys to be funny, but he's not. Extreamly hard tests that count for most of your grade. The projects suck because he doesn't explain them what so ever.
Dr. Walk is simply the best instructor at SCSU. He is willing to go the extra mile to help his students and always knows his material. Notice how all the poor comments are coming from low level math classes? It’s because Dr. Walk won’t water down a course or pass somebody without he or she understanding the material. To learn math, take Walk.
Walk is the best math professor I have ever had. He is not an easy professor so if all you want is an easy A dont take his class. He will make sure you actually learn the stuff. He will go out of the way to make sure you do learn the material. He is one of the rare professors that tries hard to make sure you understand and appreciate the subject.
Great professor, does a good job explaining everything. Tends not to have easy tests but they are fair by all measures. I would recommend him to anyone interested in math, though probably not if you are only taking any of his classes because you have to. Like any math class plan on 2-3 hours of homework and studying per hour in class
HE IS AN AWESOME TEACHER TO LEARN MATHS FROM AND AN AWFUL TEACHER TO GET GOOD GRADES (>C) FROM. I DONT CARE HOW SMART YOU ARE, FOR PASSING HIS CLASS WITH A/B,ONE WOULD NEED EXTRATERRESTRIAL INTELLIGENCE...
Good prof. Fun to listen to. Can be a little unorganized at times. His grading is very tough so if your looking for that A or even B you probably want to look into taking it with someone else.
Very Knowledgable, but lacks the skills of a helpful teacher. Expects everyone to grasp the material immediatly. Hard to follow and the homework and tests are ridiculous. Grades extemely harsh gives little chance for improvement and the class is completly dependent on the final. So in general try not to take his class.
I had Doc Walk for 3 classes. Hardest classes I took at SCSU and also the classes I learned the most from. I would take classes from him again. Even though I got C's I still learned WAY MORE than when I got A's in other classes. And hey, who doesn't love his stories??
Ratings pretty much say it all. High quality with low easiness, which is what you want in a teacher. If you aren't one of the kids who drop out after year 1 you will more than likely get a C-ish grade. Has some pretty lame jokes though that will make you facepalm more than laugh. Makes math not so stale though
one of the most enthusiastic math teacher i have ever met. He know his stuff very well and has a very clear voice. He is very helful during his office hours and his practice test really helps. This class is a tough one and take Dr. Walk if you are really interested in maths and like to learn math not just pass it.
Great professor. He makes learning math fun. Likes to tell goofy jokes. It is obvious that he is passionate about mathematics.
Very knowledgable. Knows his stuff and will find a way to relate so you can understand. Tests are important, but use his massive study guide and you'll do fine.
He tries to make math interesting and is a really cool guy! But his class is HARD! I got a C and had a 4.0 GPA before him. But, he's a good prof and likes what he does!
He is a really good guy. Makes jokes that are funny to himself. He is great at answering questions. The class is not easy, but he makes it understandable. Not a big deal if you miss a class. He is very good at putting information online.
Doc Walk. Never again will I have such a magnificent professor. This handsome devil lives and breathes mathematical genius, his voice explaining in beyond professional clarity the simplest, most realistic and logical explanations of Mathematical concepts. Take this professor. Accept no substitutes.
A really tough class. Don't expect to understand proofs right away. He is a good teacher and very helpful during office hours. His practice exams are very helpful as well for preping for the tests.
Dr. Walk is amazing! Best Math teacher I have ever had. You have to use your "red and blue" periods to study. If you put time into the class, you will get a good grade. Use the practice tests, they are extremely helpful. Everyone has to take a Math class, take it with Walk.
Don't Take His Class!!!!!
Not vary helpful. Doesn't take matters vary seriously.
Not vary helpful. Doesn't take matters vary seriously, and blames students for his own bad teaching habits.
Tests really hard and not willing to curve test scores. The class average for the first two tests combined was 46.3% and he was not willing to curve the scores. Doesn't explain things very well, just expects that you know how to do it. Would avoid if possible...
Dr. walk treats everything like it's one big joke, then wonders why no one seems to know what he's talking about. Then uses the age old cop-out "youre responsible for your grade" to make up for the fact he can't teach very well. Canceled many classes last min. and his test were very hard (must know EVERYTHING!) much like walk, this class is a joke!
This prof. tries to make the class fun but math is math (boring) he often tells these crazy stories to memorize formulas (they actually help) take the tests and reading quizzes seriously
Be prepared to study! His tests are hard and cover way too much material. He has a great sense of humor, and really tries hard to make sure students are understanding the material. However, it is hard material...he will explain and re-explain if you ask.
Don't let haters fool you. He expects that you will learn the curriculum. Simply because Math 193 is generally the lowest req. for many programs doesn't mean he doesn't take teaching the class seriously. He's a good guy who know's what he is about, and cares about teaching - few enough professors do that it is refreshing to have a good teacher.
Probably the greatest teacher I've ever had. He is hilarious, helpful, and interesting. The class is calculus 1 which is hard in and of itself, but the way he teaches he makes everything seem elementary. He's a little weird (dressed up in a cape for one class period) There is a lot of homework but it's not too hard and he's very willing to help.
Dr. Walk is simply the best professor I have ever had for math. His class has changed my life, as it has opened my eyes to the awesomeness of calculus. He is a tough grader, so study!
350 characters is simply not enough to express how much I love Dr. Walk and his classes. I took Calc 1, Calc 2, and am taking Calc 3 with Dr. Walk. I've noticed that in a higher level math course, he's simply the best. If you study and take the practice exams he gives you, while attending class, and doing your homework, there's no way you can fail.
I took Dr. Walk for Calc 1 a couple years ago, and it is still my favorite class! I would very gladly take it again. He is super respectful, fun, and really wants you to learn. He truly cares about his students and goes the extra mile to make sure everyone understands. You have to do the homework, and tests are hard, but hey, this is college.
AWESOME! I am very happy I get to take Calc 2 with Dr. Menovalent. His quizzes SUCK though...
Great teacher. Probably the best Ive taken. Quizes and exams are extremely hard. He will give you a grade on what he thinks you know and the knowledge you have gained in his class. And he is fair about it. I got a C and worked my butt off. Know your stuff. I also took phys and an EE class too so that might have made my grade drop some. Amazing guy.
Dr. Walk is a big reason why I am going into the field mathematics! The material is difficult but he relays information in a way that makes it easier to thoroughly understand. He is very approachable and an inspiring professor. If you want to actually learn, take him!
By far the best professor I've had yet so far.
Very great professor! Very helpful knowledgable in the subject and makes it fun! I don't like math but with Dr. Walk the class was great for calc standards! He can be hard to reach sometimes but when he is around he is very helpful!! I would gladly take his class again! I even have a vision problem and he provided accommodations!!
Dr. Walk is probably the best teacher for Calculus classes, he knows his subject very well, he is tough professor, but you learn a lot. If you have chance take with him
The learning environment in Dr. Walk's class is 10/10. He's hilarious, answers questions, gives LOTS of handouts and shows personality in teaching. Be prepared to work hard outside of class. Not a class you get an A in for just showing up, but Dr. Walk does a great job of getting concepts accross in class so they make sense outside of class.

It surprises me that anyone could give Dr. Walk a poor review. You WILL have to study!!! But I guarantee if you put in the time you WILL understand the material and be able to apply it in the real world. He is enthusiastic, helpful, and approachable. A++++++ of a teacher.
Dr. Walk is an amazing professor! I learned so much from him. He explains everything extremely well and loves when you ask questions. This professor is AMAZING!!!
He is a very nice individual, and willing to provide help.(I rarely had the open schedule) That's where the good stops for me... His presentation & teaching technique is extremely scatted; very disorganized and unclear. The tests are HARD, & NO Graphing calculators are allowed! Stupid Policy, for more reasons than I have space to write. I give a D.
Good professor!
Dr. Walk is the best math professor i've ever had. He makes lectures interesting and really helps you learn the subject matter. Just don't walk in and expect an easy A, I mean come on it is calc... He is a very fun and energetic professor and grades extremely fair. He also studies learning patterns students taking mathematics. great prof
Took his class early in the morning and understood if you missed a few days here and there because of sleeping in. Only 3 major exams a semester and had plenty of office hours for you to take advantage of and would walk you through anything that you didn't understand.
Dr. Walk is a great teacher, he is enthusiastic about what he teaches and he cracks some corny jokes but as long as you get a laugh out of them, you will enjoy his class. Only 2 exams but lots of online homework, so make sure you keep up on them and only two exams. His office hours also worked for me.
Dr. Walk is one of the best professors I've ever had. I really struggled this semester of college, but somehow, miraculously, he gave me a passing grade of a D in the class. He was always there to help me and had good office hours that I took advantage of. Show you're working hard during tough times and he will notice.
This was the first semester 304 was taught andI think he did a pretty good job. At first it was really hard keeping up with the homework but I gave him some feedback about how stressful it was getting having 4 things due on the same day and he slowed it down. If you have troubles go to his office hours! He is so helpful when you don't understand!
He is good professor there are 2 mid exams and final exam AND a lot of home works. if you have question or need help go to his office and he will help you. but there are a lot of reading assignments so try not to skip the assigned reading and you will be fine.
Dr. Walk is definitely a cool guy, and he presents concepts in a way that most people can easily understand. However, you have to go to his office if you ever want to hear about the homework you did. He's also really unorganized. Tough grader on hand-in homework and tests. Very difficult to get an A in the class because of the way he grades.
Difficult professor.
Good teacher gives you a rehearsal test which is almost exactly like the tests. If you ever need help just go into his office. You have to try to get an A. He is a very good professor. Just a little crazy.
Dr. Walk is, in my opinion, the best professor in the math department at SCSU. He will make you work for a solid grade but he genuinely cares that his students learn the material. He does some goofy/cheesy stuff in class but, even if you're laughing at him, you will remember what he did and the lesson connected to it.
Dr. Walk probably works harder than anyone else in the department. He instituted a 'Mastery' grading system this semester for the first time. This system is great for students but an incredible amount of work for the professor. He is consistently polite and respectful, easily contacted, and a patient teacher.
A decent prof, if you have to take this class.
THE BEST PROFESSOR
solid class
Second time for this class, and it worked better with him.
I took both Math 221 and 222.. He is really amazing teacher who really cares for his students. He might be tough for some students but trust me, work hard you will not regret taking his class. Though in your first class, he might give you questions that might me out of syllabus which might make you afraid. But amazing, inspiring teacher in SCSU.
Professor Walk is a very entertaining professor. This being said, he seems to have put much more time into his jokes, than he did preparing his content for lecture. His teaching style is most frequently 10 minutes of lecture, then a worksheet for the remainder of class. He also assign homework in 4 separate locations, and writes his own textbooks.
Pretty helpful.
Dr. Walk is a good professor. He is very helpful in not only teaching the class but teach students how to study and learn the material better. He is a tough grader but did allow for opportunity to improve grades at the end of the semester. He was able to teach in a way that all learning styles should take good information away from his lectures.
good class
A funny guy, and makes the teaching clear.
This class requires a lot of work and time. Do not start assignments last minute, you will be stressed out. Tests are hard, study not only the rehearsal exams, but also notes. There are usually things on the test that are not on the rehearsal exams. Pretty average teacher, will help you if you ask.
Good class.
Dr. Walk is a wonderful professor. This class was tough, but he works very well with students who are willing to put in the work and does a great job of answering questions without making his students feel bad. Despite the amount of work that was required, this was by far my favorite mathematics course that I have taken.
Helpful, caring, could be an amateur actor.
Dr. Walk has a tough class (but what about calc I & II isn't hard?) but keeps things interesting with good visuals/PowerPoints. He's a great lecturer, and if you don't understand the content his office hours are super accessible. Also he is a master of puns and if you're paying attention at 8AM you'll be loling.
Dr. Walk is willing to help as long as the students are willing to show some effort. He makes time for his students outside the classroom too. Overall, hes a nice professor.
Great Professor!
The amount of hw in this class was absolutely ridiculous. Sometimes getting multiple assignments today. Some online some on paper. Very hard to keep track. He takes forever to grade anything so you have no idea if you are doing things correctly. Tests are impossible to finish in time allowed. His office looks like a bomb filled with paper exploded
Dr. Walk does an amazing job with teaching a math class, since he does a very well job with keeping the classroom engaged at 8 or 9 in the morning, four days a week. He gives all students a chance to pass 221, since you retake the first test unlimited times until you get 75%. One of my favorite math professors I've ever had.
I took Calculus I and II with Dr. Walk, and he probably saved me from having to redo any Calculus courses again. Calculus II was wonderful, since he provides a "choose your own path" course. You get to pick what you want on your final, and what you want to be quizzes weekly on. Never had an approach like this to a math class, but I loved it.
I wasn't a fan of math before this class but I swear this guy let me see the beauty of it. It's incredible how he gets students engaged by taking one step at a time to help grasp the most difficult concepts. Brilliant & hilarious professor, you couldn't fall asleep in this class if you tried. Exams are easy and lots of extra credit. Best prof ever
Dr. Walk is probably the best professor I have ever had. He is really willing to work with you if you put in the effort. He is very passionate about his work and he is an excellent teacher.
Good Professor but a tough grader. You need extra power to score well on his exams. He is very approachable and always wants to help. Read the book, read your notes and do homework. you will be fine
I don't get why many reviews say he gives a lot of homework and is a tough grader. Calculus is a difficult course and he gives the appropriate amount of homework for a math class, which he actually cleverly structured in four parts to help in grasping the concepts without it being overwhelming. Dr. Walk is an underrated gem of a professor.
Amazing professor. Nothing negative to say. This course could make someone change majors. Math is associated with plug and chug numbers, this is a new level of complexity. If you have a choice between Calc-2 and this, I would not know what to tell you. Correcting things is possible, just you are now behind and you stay behind.
There is quite a bit of even homework and weekly quizzes but they only revolve around the 4 topics you choose in the class. Of course doing that only gets you a B+ so doing more gets you a better grade. Solid teacher though very strict on grading especially no quizzes. Its either right or wrong, no partial credit. Very nice guy though.
I would not recommend taking calculus 2 with Dr. Walk. He is slow in responding to emails and his grading system is very difficult to understand. Additionally, he grades on mastery, so one mistake means you do it all over again.
Dr. Walk was an awesome professor even though calculus is not my forte. He really wanted to make sure each student had every opportunity possible to get the best grade they could. this is a difficult class, but he made me actually want to learn about calculus. he likes to emphasize on the history-english part of math, over in class examples
Dr. Walk really shows enthusiam for teaching, you can see this during lectures. He is also very accessible outside of class to get help you need. The work for this class is difficult, it will likely be quite different than the math you've done up to this point. He can also take a while to grade. Overall, hard class, Walk is great, worth taking.
Great professor, don't get me wrong. The one problem I did have with this class was the grading system was not 100% clear on how things would affect the final grade. If he was a bit clearer on the way he would grade at the beginning of the semester, that would definitely make life a lot easier. Calc 2 is hard, but he is there to help you through it
He is amazing
He's an amazing professor, he explains all the material thoroughly so you will be never lost if you attend relevant lectures and he goes out of his way to help you pass his class even if it takes hours every week during his office hours. Homework was actually relevant to quizzes.
Dr. Walk is a great professor. He cares deeply about his students and is more than willing to work with you on anything. He loves to talk about anything math and goes above and beyond for lectures to make sure students have fun and enjoy the content. Take if given the chance!
Dr. Walk is a great professor that made a very difficult class, Calc 2, much easier. His lectures make it very easy to stay engaged, due to his humor. Dr. Walk grades on master topics, which is difficult but makes it a lot easier to learn the material. Very accessible and helpful outside of class. Lots of hw, but it makes sense for a 200 lvl class
Very nice guy! Generally content was taught well, although topics felt very rushed near the end of the semester. You'll need to perfectly master topics with weekly quizzes that aren't too bad. Final exam was brutal though. 20 topics in only ~2 hrs made it difficult to finish on time. Lots of HW, but it'll help on the quizzes and final exam.
Professor Walk makes a challenging Calc 2 course much more manageable. His lectures are engaging, and he is always willing to provide extra help. While the homework and quizzes are rigorous, using resources like Unstuckstudy makes the workload more manageable. Definitely a professor worth taking.
I will say,I think he has some of the best lectures of the math professors. It is a very difficult class, however, it is due able if you are willing to put in extra time. For me at least, I thought it felt more like a 5 credit class, but math might not be my strong suit. Never the less, It's a tough class and I think he is a tough, but fair grader.
He's very nice and always willing to help with anything you might not understand. Easily accessible during office hours. Only reason for the 3 is because I wasn't a huge fan of his teaching style. Very disorganized and all over the place. Takes forever to grade anything. Not very clear on how much of your grade certain things are worth.
Dr. Walk was an incredible professor. He explained everything thoroughly and was always willing to help. Its certainly not an easy course but I never felt like I couldn't ask for help and catch up.
