Prof. Wetta is the best. He is very intelligent. Very open minded. He lets you express which ever way you want. One midterm and one take home final. But make sure you pay attention to the identifications for the midterm. Strongly suggested!!! Easy A!!!!

I would strongly recommend his class. The class does not have actual lecture format, but mainly structured by intense discussions on works. He is really thought provoking and liberal in interpretations. Students are encouraged to express their opinions.

Great Pro. whose classroom discussions I usually look foward to after a long day at school. I recomend any of his classes for anyone who loves to voice their opinion(s) about real issues.

Its an easy A...especially if your a great writer! if you usually cut class or late dont bother taking this class because he HATES latenesses and "cutters". Participating is also a must. easy papers, pick your own research paper, and of course you have an inclass essay as your final.

The best Professor on earth. He is a easy grader and you feel like you are talking to a friend and don't have to think twice about what you are saying. Very clear about his materials. He will let you have your own style of writting for his assignments and there are couple of exams which are very easy. There best professor to have.

More on the literature than writing. Makes u read ur stories in class. Just don't slack off on the readings, assignments & attendances or you will def. get an F! ENg 300 was a creative writing class. He was very leniant. Easy to get an A if you do your work and be there. He hates absences and lateness.

very very good. the best at hunter in my opinion. just don't be disrespectful and show up late - he hates that. but he really brings the material down to a level where someone who cares less about literature can understand. i took the sat morning class. hard tkaing it in the mornings, but nonetheless, still great!

he is the BEST professor. you'll get an A+ in all your papaers cause he gives and helps you with drafts. he is very funny the readings are really easy and not mandatory he usually starts talking about one topic then changes it but he is very funny. TAKE HIS CLASS!!!! ^_^

Professor Wetta is easygoing, funny, and his class is highly interactive and discussion based. He cares a lot about cultivating student interest in social issues, so there is always lively debate in class. Also, he gives good grades...you just need to do the work!

He is a must for anyone taking any ENG course. He let's people speak in their own voices in papers and promotes conversation within the classroom. Just don't try to do your own thing, like read other books in the class. Show respect to him, and you'll love the class.

Professor Wetta is a great professor! I already had an interest in creative writing before class, but I always had trouble making myself write. He did that for me, and brought my love for writing back. He's a great guy, so helpful and supportive. Definitely take him!

One of the best. Had to retake 220 and glad that I got him the second time, as I had a horrible professor the first time. Very down to earth and funny. Very lenient on papers and very helpful in office hours. Must read the books in order to keep up with class but the material was extremely interesting! He's awesome!

my favorite professor so far. absolutely loved his class and it was the only one i looked forward to. he doesn't make you write except for the required writing and we discuss. the whole class participates in class discussion and it makes you want to contribute your opinion.

He is such a nice guy. He's hip, hes funny, and he really cares about what you have to say about the book. We have a 10 minute writing before each class but its based on opinion and not so much the reading. I HATED english but I absolutely loved his class. There was pretty much no work too. The readings were also pretty great.

When you read his syllabus, you'll know he's not your average prof. Wetta is an amazing lecturer. His arguments for the readings are controversial and really interesting. If you write well, expect to get an A without a doubt.

His requirements are really clear: show up, participate, and hand in papers on time. Since it was a workshop class, the reading was light, but don't skimp on the papers. You can easily get an A if you do the papers on time and show you're invested in the class. He's also a full time professor and an advisor.

Amazing professor, so nice and loves a nice open discussion about literature. Be sure to read though... beware if you don't.

Professor Wetta, while laid back in personality, is passionate about the subject he teaches and he has natural a gift for capturing the student's interest with his readings and the discussion of those readings. His love of "King Lear" is utterly charming, and his ability to help the student step into the story and understand it is a rare talent!!

He is so laid back yet extremely intelligent at the same time. He wants to give you a good grade! However, dont skip class (over whats allowed of course) and be punctual (he hates latenesses but won't say anything). The more conversational and detailed your participation the better you'll do! Also, actually READ for the final & you'll do AMAZING!

Great professor, really loves his subject. He doesn't think that any ideas are wrong, super nice and great feedback on writing.

You MUST take this professors. He is funny, respectful, and validates everyone's odd interpretations of the reading. As long as you participate, you're golden. You HAVE to do the reading, but its not dense at all and actually pleasant. Also, don't be late. But, the class is pretty relaxed and chill. There was a midterm, final, and paper.

Professor Wetta is a well respected, laid back, and caring professor with superb knowledge in his field. He delivers deep analysis of literature but tells a couple of jokes here and there to make sure the students enjoy class and are engaged. Definitely recommend him and would take him again.

If you're looking to take a creative writing class, Wetta is the way to go. I really enjoyed the class. Four fiction stories and helpful feedback is given by students and Wetta. It's a fun class that allows your creative juices to flow. Always encouraging, Wetta makes you feel like whatever you write is worth something. A+ prof. for sure!

Professor Wetta is a real gem. He is old school but enjoys everyone's interpretations of the readings/workshops. Participation is mandatory because it's a workshop class, you obviously have to participate. He gives great feedback on papers and lets you rewrite multiple times. He's very understanding but don't take advantage of him.

Honestly, Wetta is one of the best professors I've ever had in my life. Has some semblance of a beat generation writer/poet, and you can feel the character flowing out. His lectures, the books he assigns, and general attitude make him a diamond in the rough. He is absolutely inspiring with the questions he poses. The best prof you'll ever take. A++

You MUST take prof wetta!!! Had him for ENGL220 Honors and he makes class so interesting and isn't a hard grader. Super down to earth guy who wants you to enjoy the books we read. Can't say enough nice things about him. Participate and you'll get an A

Wetta is awesome. He made his expectations very clear at the start: active participation and having your cam on. He doesnt read the chat, but he makes it so easy to participate! Hes respectful and chill and laid back and open to all comments or opinions. Literally, say anything and you're solid. Easy essays, though fast-paced reading required.

Professor Wetta is a really fun and simple professor, he was really easy on us honestly, most of the class was spent discussing different articles we read and giving our input/having a group discussion. It eventually led to helping us pick a topic for the research paper, and I honestly really enjoyed his laid-back style of teaching 120. :)

Lectures were very engaging. I normally have trouble participating but in his class it feels natural. His feedback has never been mean or rude, but extremely kind and encouraging. If you write good papers, easy class and if not, then you will complain about the feedback LMAOOOO. Jokes aside, definitely recommend, he is a true gem!!!!!!!

If you want an easy A take him, he just wants someone to listen to his rants and write his 2 or 3 simple papers. He will put people on the spot but he's old and moody. Don't waste money on books, just look them up online for the PDF. When he's not in a bad mood he's really chill, so take it.

He is one of the most amazing, lecturer ever!!! He is not harsh at grading at all, wrote like 2 things in the whole semester. I genuinely enjoyed listening to what he had to say, really interesting stuff and he is extremely knowledgeable. One tip to is to participate to make the class more interesting! Highly recommend taking him.

One of the easiest classes I've ever taken. Lecture heavy, so participate to keep things interesting for yourself. You can find most/all of his readings online for free or in libraries/cheap places. I only had to write one paper, which was graded pretty lightly, but to be fair this was the first time he ever taught this class (ENG 320).

Though I took this course for easy credit, I felt as though there could have been more structure to the class. You are only graded upon two essays (midterm and final) and there is lots of reading. He assigned too many readings for such a short time frame and did not go into the depth of the texts. Not my cup of tea, but it was an easy class.

Easy class. It was kinda boring that I can fall asleep. Attendance was mandatory but I generally hate participating and group work so I never showed up after a month. Just check bb for paper guideline and you'll be fine. You can take this class if you want an easy A.
