The best math teacher I have ever had. Made learning fun and presented the material in a way that was learnable. Went over problems until he was sure that every student understood it. Lots of practice problems.

Interesting, informative, hilarious. Tests will require you to know the material, but aren't excessively difficult. I will take this guy for any other class that he teaches.

One of the best teacher I've had in my life. I would take any class he teaches. Genuinely nice, caring, smart, and really helps you understand concepts. Classes aren't easy but they are very enjoyable. This particular class requires a lot of driving (many many many field trips).

Take him!! Clear, informative, hilarious. I cannot think of any faults to speak of. Tests require you to know the material, but aren't inordinately hard. He will drop your lowest test score, including if that's the final. Mr. Clark is the best prof I've ever had.

Cares about progress of students. Has exceptional quality of being able to engage in banter and jokes with students without sacrificing the tone or academic focus of the class. Though the class isn't particularly easy, he is more than willing to help.

Steve Clark is an exceptionally nice and funny individual. Unfortunately, his teaching clarity is a big murky. He has tricky tests and will ask you completely random questions that he doesn't emphasize in the notes or readings. Having said this, he will go out of his way for you and do whatever he can to make sure you're understanding him.

For a three credit class, this is the most demanding course you will ever take. His tests are ridiculous as well; people walking around and constant teacher interruptions make it VERY distracting. The workload is very unreasonable but Clark himself is a very nice guy. Biology 140, though, is NOT recommended!

Mr. Clark is the best science teacher I have ever had! He is hillarious and makes class exciting! Very good sense of humor and I strongly recommend him

Love this guy! I would take any other class he offered - his classes aren't easy but they are very interesting and if you do the work, you'll be fine. He cares very much about his students and tells some pretty good stories to correllate with whatever we are discussing. Ask him about the pond turtles... you won't regret taking his classes!!

amazing and hilarious. you'll never be bored in his class. ever. very helpful and knowledgeable and will make sure you understand everything. his classes aren't easy. you need to work a lot for your grade (and this is coming from someone who does fairly well in school). but you will not regret taking his class. you'll miss out if you don't.

Amazing teacher. I wish I had a chance to take more classes from him. I was in a long class (3 hrs) and the time flew by. He is facinated by what he teaches and teaches it well.

I just finished up my final quarter here, and out of the two years I've been here, Steven is by far the best teacher I've had. I wish I had the chance to take more classes with him. Biology's not even my forte...that's how great he is! Hilarious, crystal clear, engaging, and helpful. But it IS a tough class. You have to be in class to do well.

Mr. Clark is wonderful. I was very scared the first day of class because he is very strict when it comes to homework.(But it is for your best interest)!!Lectures are very clear and interesting. He has our class laughing a couple times a lecture. He cares for each student 100% and will meet with you to help. Take him you won't regret it!!!!

Clark is the best teacher I've ever had. I REALLY struggled with the material to begin with but ended up with an A because he was so helpful & you could tell he really wants his students to succeed. I highly recommend taking Clark, he is a great teacher. Attendance wasn't mandatory, but I never skipped because it was so fun, altho I hate science.

AWESOME TEACHER! Class time flies by. He is so funny that he makes learning fun and enjoyable. He has a gift of explaining complicated material in a way that you get it. He is willing to spend his free time (lunch time, whenever) helping students study. He is very dedicated. Difficult subject but he gives plenty of work to build a good grade.

If you have to take BIOL 160 THIS IS THE MAN TO TAKE IT WITH. His class is so fun you'll wish you were always there. If you don't understand he will make sure you do. He gives out his home phone number so you can reach him any time. Knows sign language and has a big vocabulary. During class you work in groups to better understand the material.

Clark's a good prof. but his style of teaching wasn't to my liking. He's a firm believer in his way & was constantly telling the class "Now if I were a student I would take down these notes" or "This is what i would write in my text." It got annoying after awhile and felt like he didn't trust us to learn on our own...oh & he gives test once a week!

This man is GOLDEN! You would be so lucky to take his Bio class. Not only is he passionate about what he does but his willingness to stay after class to explain the simpliest of things to a student is mind-boggling! Never have I had a teacher so dedicated to making sure his students excel that he lets you call him NO MATTER THE TIME! Take his class

THE BEST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD. He gives generous extra credit opportunities. He really gets involved in letures and will go over it until you understand it. He sets up study sessions whenever you need them. He really is amazing. Its nice if you take his class before taking a&p with bolke because they have very similar teaching styles

Steve is amazing. I hated Biology before I took his class, and when it was over I was in love with it. He's a great professor who is really engaged in his lectures and who really wants students to succeed. He's easy to get along with, and never has a problem helping out if you're confused. I would definitely recommend him.

He was a very nice teacher. He was willing to help with everything. You could call him at home or see him whenever possible. He was good at explaining things. It good to attend class for lecture.

He makes the whole classroom laugh at least 5 times a day and bases his tests off of assignments and things we do inclass ( HE's SUPER at explaining ANYTHING !)

Mr. Clark was an incredible prof. He is has quite the since of humor that I loved. He is really passionate about his class and knows his material well. He makes class fun. Anyone can pass his tests as long as you study for them. For those students who havent taken bio, I would highly suggest you take this class. Its possible for anyone to get an A.

Mr. Clark made biology so interesting and fun! Coming from someone usually struggles with and does not enjoy science classes, he changed my perspective. He made sure everyone was engaged in classroom discussion and is quite funny, too. All of his tests, although not easy, have questions right out of his lecture or online tutorials! must study!

Mr. Clark is a gem. The material he covers is challenging but he consistently reminds students that he is willing and available to help. He is easy to contact and will always return your call if he misses it. He makes lectures interesting and has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend taking his class even though you'll have to work hard.

Hands down my favorite teacher at Clark. He loves what he teaches, and does a GREAT job presenting it to the class. Lots of great discussions in class that were very helpful, and he is ALWAYS willing to help you do whatever it takes to master the material, even if it's challenging at times.

Seriously, the best teacher I've had so far at Clark. Class seems to go by in ten minutes. He is highly entertaining and presents the information in a manner easy to understand and fun to learn. He does have high expectations, but shouldn't all teachers? He does anything he can to help you achieve those expectations. Definitely recommended!

Very interesting and easy to understand but kinda tough on the homework and expects you to participate in class activities. The tests were pretty hard to. If you want to take this class, make sure you have plenty of time to read and study at home.

Steve Clark was incredibly helpful and made a dry subject interesting and fun. The homework load for a 3 credit class is significant but not excessive. People who can't punctuate or spell correctly should not criticize.

Mr. Clark is AMAZING!!! I wasn't even really interested in Biology before taking his class. I looked forward to it every day, he's just that entertaining. He's hilarious and makes the concepts crystal clear in lecture. I'll definitely be taking more classes with Mr. Clark. :)

Mr. Clark is amazing! He makes biology interesting and I hated science coming into this class. His class is definitely not an easy A. Come to class, take notes, read, and don't turn in HW late. Tests are tough but doing the work pays off. If you need help call him. He actually gets back to you and returns work quickly. I highly recommend him!!!

The thing that I appreciate the most about Mr. Clark is that you really get the sense that he does what he does because he really enjoys helping people learn. He is fairly knowledgeable, and he is always eager to help in any way he can. This is a weird criticism, but I think his class could have been a bit more challenging. Highly recommended.

Awesome teacher, he just applied for a tenured position, he deserves it. his energy makes class fun, be serious and do your work to succeed in class, if you mess with your cell phone in class he will ask you to leave which i appreciate as a student who is annoyed by people playing on their phone in class. textbook use is high but steve helps a lot!

Never will you have an instructor so passionate about what he teaches. Took forestry from him and we had 4 feild trips. You can bring a friend. His enthusiasm is very contagious!

This is the most interesting biology class I ever attended. It is easy to understand and he is very good at explaining things. He is very enthusiastic and knows what he is talking about. Grades are based on tests and reading asssignments. I learned more than I thought I would. Thanks.

I love Mr. Clark! Such a great teacher, he is fun and his class never gets boring. He knows exactly what he's talking about and he is passionate about what he does. Clark is always helpful, ask questions because he will answer them well. One warning, his tests are very rough. If the book comes with an online component, do the online practice tests.

I am really disappoint that this is the only instructor offered for the bio series. So I am stuck with him for a whole year. The class structure is so discouraging and so demanding it drives me crazy. For someone who has never failed a class before I actually fear failing this class. Hes a great guy but get a heart! A negative formats dont work.

This is a crystal-clear instructor. He is so helpful always and is very excited about biology. I very strongly reccomend him! He is challenging, but does not ask too much of students. Best. Professor. Ever.

Best Professor I've ever had! He tells you everything you need to know and conveniently repeats many times everything you'll see on the exam. He's more than willing to help you figure out a study plan that works for you. Don't get me wrong, this class is not easy. But by the end (and even longer after that) you remember everything.

The course is challenging but Professor Clark is very helpful and grading is fair with many opportunities to earn extra points. I never learned how to study effectively until this class despite having already having a BS. I feel that his methods helped me do well on the MCAT. I am in Medical school now and am very grateful that I took his course.

I have had 2 professors in 4 years of college who have had a major impact on my life and Steve Clark is one of them. He is genuinely an amazing man, and I am glad I got the chance to know him and learn from him. If you're looking for the easy way out he's definitely not your guy, then again you're obviously not serious about your education anyway.

He is one of the best teachers ever. You have to put a hard work in class. Honestly, if you study, you can expect getting A in tests. He has changed my academic career by the way he teaches. Additionally, I made lots of good friendships. I learned a lot in his class and would take his class again!

Steve Clark has a great sense of humor and his enthusiasm for what he teaches makes the class a lot more interesting. I have taken him for the biology sequence and I can say that his class is the most difficult class that I have taken. Most of what you learn is from reading the textbook but during lectures he makes sure to explain the material.

Lectures directly out of book, expects you to have read chapter(s) before class, reading questions for every chapter, has powerpoint for lecture but is just photos and review questions. Very passionate about subject, personifies a lot, tries to make class laugh, extra credit on some reading questions and various assignments. Great teacher.

He's a wonderful professor that truly cares about his students. He's gone above and beyond to get his students to understand difficult concepts. Best Professor I've had, the class is hard and takes a lot of work, your grade is based on the weekly test and the exams but professor Clark loves his job and it shows, he is accessible 24/7 and will try to help as much as he can and gives every opportunity he has for you to learn. Professor Clark is one of the best teachers I've had. I took him for my whole Bio sequence, and now that I'm in upper-level biology classes, I feel very well prepared from his classes. His difficult oral exams are the reason I actually REMEMBER my general biology material, and can apply it. They were stressful to be sure. But prepared me well!

Professor Clarks class is definitely not an easy class to be in. However you will soon notice after getting used to his teaching method how helpful his ways are especially in the next biology classes. He provides his students with information and resources to be successful and he will test you on something he has taught you.

Professor Clark was very helpful and went the extra mile for his students, his classes were difficult and he had high expectations but he wants to help you learn, his quizzes and exams were hard and you will have to study hard to do well but he will answer almost any question you have and take your calls any time of day to help out.
