I had this guy a couple years ago. Awesome to take for an evening class. He loves to give everyone A's in his class, so just do the homework, and go by his office if you need help. Also, he hates it when you prove that he screwed up, and show him.

he is an easy teacher. all you have to do is your homework, review sheet, and come to class. and you could pass the class with a A. he doesn't keep you long and will help. you can go by his office or e-mail him if you have any problems and he doesn't grade hard.

This class can be very easy if you come to class, do your homework, and work the exam reviews. He gives reviews for his tests and the tests come straight from the reviews. This was an evening class, but he never keeps you very long and he doesn't make math seem so boring.

pretty good teacher. very stright forward for test, they come from homework problems and he gives a review sheet telling you what parts of the home work to look over and the home work isn't required. and if you need help or an explantion, he will give it with no problem.

I loved Crow, he's a great teacher, he gives you a study guide that tells you which problems are on the test, he is very helpful, he's young and awesome, i made an A easily! I definitely recommend taking him for any math class!

If you are nervous about Math 125 or clueless about math, like me. Take Crow! Nice guy, no ego trip about him. Tells you for the most part what is on the test. Example= There will be one question out of Chapter 2 section 1 Number 1-4 on the test. I made a B and I can barely add.

I haven't had a algebra in 6 years, and made an A in the class. Go to class, do homework, and work the test review. He gives you the test by giving you the review. Nice guy, not boring, and helpful. If you are weak in math, he is the teacher to have. Great teacher!

Comes to class, goes over homework, and does 2 sections. Gives homework. Very to the point. Tests are kinda hard, but studying really helps.

I finally understood it taking it from him. Tests were pretty easy and he would go over most of the problems in class.

He is so easy. He spoonfeeds everything. He even tells you what problems will be on the test before you take it, but you still learn alot.

I took this course with another professor and dropped it, now that I have Crow as my teacher, I have an A in the class. He really takes his time when covering new material and makes sure everyone understands before he proceeds. Excellent teacher and wish he tought more classes that I needed.

But if you miss class, it's hard to catch up on the material and learn what you need for the test. I definitely recommend him.

He is a freakin' great teacher!! He explains everything and everyday you go into class, the first thing he does go over homework problems you had trouble with. He gives quizzes almost every time, but they are easy and you can work together, use your book, and even ask him!! I WOULD ABSOLUTELY TAKE HIM AGAIN!

He is a great teacher. He puts homework on the internet and as long as you do that and the homework out of the book, you will make at least a B. If you are satisfied with your grade, you don't even have to take the final!!!!! Highly recommend taking him.

This teacher is literally "down to earth." Listen to what he says from day one. Do the homework, WeBWorK, test reviews, and you'll make an A. Tests look exactly like/very similar to the study guides that are posted a week before each test. I recommend this teacher for Math 125 for sure. Don't take anyone else if you're able to take Crow!

Mr. Crow is a very good math teacher and will tell you straight forward what you got to do to succeed in his class. I would highly recommend him because he straight forward and dont wait til last sec to do webwork.

Mr. Crow was really a very good teacher. I can recommend him for anybody. Like he says, all you have to do is follow your homework consistently and you'll have no problem at all. He gives test reviews and the test questions come from the test review. He's also very down to earth. If you don't end up with an A or at least a B then you're lazy.

If you do the homework its not that hard. He answers any question that you have about anything in the class. He is also really good with being in his office during his office hours. If your not doing good, he drops the lowest grade and replaces it with the final its better.

Mr. Crow is really nice. Make sure you do your homework and Aleks and it'll help. I will say that his tests are slightly hard. I always did the review several, several times and my test grades never reflected this. He will help you in any way and he is so sweet.

Great teacher although I never showed up to class. Homework isn't to big of a deal just make sure to study the test review he posts on moodle those basically set you up to at least recieve a B on his test.

Have to pay attention. If you have a question, ask it and he will help. Do his reviews before the test, they really help, and make sure you do the online homework. Cracks jokes every once an awhile. Would take again.

Good teacher and absolutely hilarious. You're gonna lose it when he rants about the inverse sine button on the calculator. He goes pretty slow and explains stuff in detail. I'd take him again if possible.

If you want a professor that's going to come in, give a clear cut lecture of useful material you'll need to progress in math, take Mr. Crow. Come to class, pay attention, and ask questions. If you do those things you won't have trouble. He's very clear about what he wants and is more than helpful. Loved his class and want to take him again.

He is a great teacher! I took him for Math 240 my second time taking it and now am for Math 241 on my second time. He is fast paced, but very straight forward and no bullcrap. You can get by with doing webwork, but please for the love of God do his test reviews. This is a godsend blessing as other proffessors dont always do this. He is always funny

I loved him for calculus I. I am taking him again for calculus II. I highly recommend taking him whether you're good at math or not! He gives reviews for all of the tests, and while lengthy, they cover most of the material that is on the test so there usually isn't any surprises.

He is a pretty good teacher. I liked him, except he doesn't allow you to use a calculator for this class. I think that was one of the hardest things to get used to. He gives partial credit which is amazing!!! You do not really need the book, i just used my mathlab for studying.

Really enjoyed this class. Could be confusing if learning material for the first time but he is ready to help. Takes forever to post test grades. Most of his tests are pretty easy if you do the review he posts.

Crow can be boring, but he teaches the material well. The reviews for his test are straight from the book, but are very similar to the test. He is a genuinely nice guy, and I will be taking him again.

Dr. Crow seems like a gym teacher, which sounds like an insult for a math prof but I can't make a better analogy. He focuses hard on the basics, doesn't assume that you're naturally good at the subject (and doesn't hold it against you if you are) & is just a good teacher. I'd taken calc 2x before, and finally learned how to do limits in his class.

He is good at explaining the material and his tests are pretty much what you learned in class. As long as you do the homework and pay attention in class, you should do good on his tests. He also gives extra practice questions that are similar to his test questions if you feel like you need extra help.

He teaches you exactly what you need for the tests. He is easy to talk to and communicates well outside of class with emails. He's very accommodating with his students.

Crow is that kind of professor that seems intimidating on the first day. However, once you get to know him, hes a great guy. If you take him be warned, he is a very sarcastic and quirky individual. His lectures are not always by the book but they are simple. Do the homework daily and complete the study review and you should do just fine.

Crow's a great teacher to have because he enables you to make an "a". But, that grade does not come easy. The homework was outrageous, every night you should spend at least two hours on it to be caught up. He is very respectful, humorous, and easy to access outside of class. He WILL prepare you for future math classes. Posts math vids on youtube.

I am horrible at Math and was super nervous to take Trig. Crowe is a great teacher who really cares about students making a good grade. It really isnt hard unless you dont pay attention and dont do Math Lab. He has tons of youtube videos if you dont understand and has the final take place of your lowest grade.

I come from a High School that only cared about football and the advanced math teachers were mainly cheer coaches/other sponsors. Math is my worst subject and to add to that my teachers barely taught anything. Prof. Crow somehow taught me 4 years of math in one quarter. He explained everything so clearly and his youtube channel helped so much.

Dr. Crow's lectures can be a tad bit boring but he does a good job going over the material. For his exams I highly recommend using the videos on his website for review, those will set you up very well for all of his exams.

Using the textbook in his class helps a lot. Most of his questions on the exams are out of the book. The only complaint is that he's pretty boring a goes really slow so it's hard to pay attention sometimes. The Final is optional in his class and he drops the lowest exam score. He also provides youtube lectures which are helpful.

Crow is really good at making sure you know why he's teaching you something, what its for, and more importantly if it will be on the test. He explains things in a way that makes sense and doesn't pussyfoot around with extraneous definitions or any of that crap. Final is optional ( at least in the Trig class I took) and the tests are easy

I have taken Professor Crow for Math 101, 220, and currently 224. He is a great professor. He takes the time to make sure everyone knows the material. His tests are very straight forward and not difficult at all unless you don't study. He posts test reviews with problems from the textbook for you to practice. If you can work those out, you'll pass.

I love Professor Crow so much! He has an awesome YouTube Channel (called Steve Crow) where he basically has tons of videos for math concepts ranging from college algebra to Calc 2. He is lecture heavy, but if you pay attention you shouldn't have any problems passing. He is also always willing to answer questions. We stan Steve!

A truly wonderful professor with a great personality. He really makes sure the class has every opportunity to understand a topic. he will often pause after every major step he takes to make sure the class is aware of how he got to where he is. I couldnt recommend him enough.

Crow is the best math professor that I have ever had. His lectures are typically quick and simple to follow along. Exams are easy and most of the questions are based off of the examples done in class rather than the problems on webwork.

If you fail this teacher, you're trying to fail and should change your major from engr.

He posts his lectures to YouTube so you can watch them before/after class to solidify the concepts, his tests ensure you know the material without being overly challenging, and he himself is a funny, nice guy. Lectures are clear and easy to follow. Amazing class, I'd recommend his videos even if you don't take him.

He is a very good teacher, and provides lots of clear examples. However, he does go through material very fast. We got out of class around 20 minutes early almost every day and were still ahead of the other sections. Definitely take if you want a challenge.

I had Mr. Crow over the summer for Calculus 1 and he made it very easy to understand! His lectures are on Youtube so if we missed class or he had to cancel class, we watched the lectures so we didn't fall behind. He's also nice and lenient!

Professor Crow is an excellent teacher who makes complex topics accessible. His clear explanations and willingness to ensure understanding are invaluable. The workload is challenging but manageable with consistent effort. I found Unstuck ai and the professor's YouTube channel helpful for study prep.

Math is definitely not my strong suit. However, Professor Crow got me through all my calculus classes. if you're anything like me, take him. From the beginning he tells you what you need to know for future classes, what's important, and what you should focus on. By the time finals came around I felt way more confident in the material.
