Required acctg can seem long and dreary, but he provides many sources for learning material what suits you best. Very nice, very helpful, supportive and flexible. I took it online. He made the hw optional, but you could do it to make up for a bad test grade. All in all, I learned a lot without working too hard. Very practical.

He is extremely flexible and willing to work with you. I was able to take a test late without problems. Whenever I had a question on the content, I received a quick response. Accounting in general is a very difficult subject but Steve is great, very helpful, and understanding of "life". I work over 50 hrs a week and found it difficult to keep on top of all the assignments but Steve was always very reassuring that I would get through. Do the homework it helps in the exams! Trust me.

very flexible in allowing students extra time. As an online student this is a necessity at times as interruptions often cannot be helped. when doing quizzes in a "timed" period, this is often detrimental to those of us not in a classroom setting.

Attendance was not mandatory and it was clear, hahaha. Our class started with about 30 students and there were some days only 5 showed up. I tried to make it to every class as it was always a good time and I always walked out with better understanding of accounting that when I walked in.

I was anxious when I first take my first Financial Accounting class. He always helpful, and response e-mail whenever he is available. Be aware he will let you do some homework in Wiley Plus, and it takes a lot of point. For ORION, you just take 40 questions in 45 minutes to get the 10 points. Always read and take quiz, you will get an easy A.

The most wonderful person I have ever met. The way he teaches the chapters and takes every thing along in the course is really appreciable. I would recommend everyone to take accounting from him. I took accounting both financial and managerial from him and got an A. Would definitely love to take classes from him in the future also.

Probably the most helpful teacher I've had. Teaches the material well and if you don't understand you can speak out before he moves on or visit him in his office or tutoring hours. He grades well and fair. If you show up and actually make some sort of attempt to do your work you will do just fine. Grading is fair and simple. All quizzes are online.

He alway helpful when you needed help, as long as you go to class and read the book and do the homework + quiz and the test you will be fine. This subject is not easy but you will be fine. He is so nice that when i missed the homework i talk to him and asked for extension and he still ok with that if you hav a good reasons.

This accounting class was very beneficial to me, not only did I learn financial concepts but I was also introduced to managerial concept, which I need for the future. Quizzes were manageable after doing the reading/homework. Homework is the most time consuming and tedious part of the class, but it's where I learned the most. I enjoyed this class.

Honestly speaking I took this course summer time, its four credit. I was working full-time, and have 4 kids specially new 3 months ago. This class is ver organized. He is very nice, helpful, and is will to help his student success. Please if you have to take accounting look no farther. All home is done in wileyplus except quizzes. I got an A.

He was a very fair, knowledgeable and responds quickly. He really knows his Accounting. He has a clear syllabus, lots of reading and homework, but you will learn a lot. Once a week discussions about ethics. I think he was the best Accounting teacher I ever had. I really enjoyed this class, so much I'm taking other Accounting classes with him.

Mr. Everett is a great instructor. The tests were harder than expected because they was a twist to the questions you didn't come across specifically in the assignments. I would definitely take another course by him though.

Steve is a very knowledgeable in accounting, however, the lecture in class was a bit all over the place. He starts off with what people have read from the textbook. If you didn't read the textbook, you should. He likes to have the class participate so he might call on you randomly. Homework and tests are all online. My advice: just read the book.

Overall a fairly easy class as long as you can keep up with the online homework assignments. He is fairly easy to reach outside of class via email and always responded in a timely matter. The grading criteria used to calculate final grades was laid out nicely at the beginning of the semester and provided a good schedule for the class.

This teacher was very caring and by far cared the most about my grade. The tests are very hard but he gives you chances to redo them for points and easy homework points. Accounting is hard and expect to spend every other Sunday all day doing only Accounting.

Is not a class to take online when it's like your first accounting class

This class is difficult. Even with reading the chapters; I still struggle.

I took this class online over the summer, and it takes a lot of time if you're not savvy with accounting. I put in roughly 6.5 hours of study time per chapter and we had about two chapters per week (sometimes three). To do well in this class you need to read and do the homework. The course builds from the beginning.

We used Cengage. So if you are taking other classes make sure to take other classes that use cengage as their platform. Bundle and save. Accounting sucks in my opinion.. I hate it, but George is a great guy to have for a class you hate. Very helpful and kind. It's a hard and time consuming class. 3 HW, 1 quiz/ WK. 4 tests/ semester. That's it!

Steve know the material extremely well and the overall structure of the course is pretty straight forward. The homework and tests are all online, so it gives you time to be flexible with them. Overall, Steve is a very positive professor and makes the class tolerable.

Steve is a wonderful professor! He really enjoys getting to know you and help you throughout this class. He has weekly check-ins with you to make sure you are doing okay. He is also there if you have a question regarding class as well. He makes this topic interesting and presents it in a way that is understanding.

With all online courses, you have to put in the time and work to understand the material. This professor was very responsive to any questions that arose and was very encouraging throughout the semester.

This was my first Accounting class and Professor Everett has been so clear with expectations, so good at explaining confusing topics, and so encouraging! He has made me love Accounting!

Since it is an online course, most of the homework, tests, and assignments are on Cengage. He has videos and explanations for each chapter which is really nice. The professor is caring and understanding.

Very good instructor for acct2251. He is very flexible when it comes to getting assignments done everything is due at the end of the semester. If you have questions he is available to assist you via email. I would take any of his accounting classes since he lets you set your pace right from the start of the semester.

Steve is a great professor at Normandale. I would take any of his accounting classes since everything is flexible. He responds to his emails very quickly and if you need to set up a meeting it seems like he can meet via teams and answer any questions for you.

I don't really like accounting, however, this professor made it really easy and doable. There are about 14 chapters to go over with about three assignments for each chapter and 6 tests total. As long as you pace yourself, you should do just fine!

He is very helpful in respondence and with answering questions you may have. He is very knowledgeable about the topic and uses short video lectures to help teach students the concepts in financial accounting.

Professor Everett (I think he goes by both Steve/George) is a nice, kind guy. His teaching style for his online courses is rather hands-off but students had to check in with him weekly. Do the work in Cengage and D2L and you'll be fine. Exams were a lot harder than the homework though. As a PSEO student I would recommend 2251 and Professor Everett.

Material is straight forward and assignments follow course work.

I took this course online. There was homework that needed to get done each week, but it was all manageable. Professor Everett lets you work ahead, which I really appreciated, but also set due dates that were soft dates just to keep students on track. He is very personable for an online course. I will for sure take another one of his courses again!

A truly amazing professor who is there to help you learn and be successful. The instructor taught the course in a very organized fashion throughout the semester. He utilizes 1-on-1 weekly discussion boards which I found to be motivating and helpful because you can ask questions, and talk about what you know and what you don't know weekly.

Prof. Everett is the best instructor I have ever had and really cares about his students. All types of learners will do well in his class as there are videos, graphics, interactive textbooks & the hw/exams allow students multiple opportunities to get a good grade. If you use all his great tools then this class will be a breeze, TY for all you do!

Mr.Everett is great I believe he is an instructor with a lot of wisdom in not only teaching accounting but also in the real world working in various industries and giving good advice. I definitely enjoyed my time with him and I believe any accounting student at Normandale should have him as an instructor. overall amazing instructor.

Everett is a pretty nice teacher. He has his list of assignments that is already made. He made it the day class started so you can work at your own pace. He responses fast as well. I had a family situation pop up, and he was really understanding about it.

Honestly, it's a very chill course. The deadline was the end of the course rather than each week which was nice and very flexible with my schedule. Would 10/10 recommend !!

I took Managerial Accounting with a late start with Steve and I am so glad I did! Steve's grading criteria was very clear and the structure of the class made total sense. He was very helpful whenever I had a question, even going as far as to make a personalized video to help me understand a concept that I was really struggling with.

I took Steve Everett financial accounting class over the summer, since this was my first summer class I was nervous taking this class but Steve Everett made my first summer class experience great! I would take his class again I had a good experience.

Everett makes accounting engaging. The assignments are manageable, and he's understanding with deadlines. Cengage videos really help reinforce the material. For study prep, unstuckstudy ai has been a lifesaver alongside the textbook. Definitely recommend this class.

Steve Everett allowed me to do the course work at my own pace. I was able to work well ahead even with the early end date and I was able to obtain a good grade. I love how the course is set up and would like to experience it again.

Steve is a great teacher. It is very clear that he cares about his students and wants them to succeed without being over bearing or judgemental if they don't show up to his class. Every assignment is due at the end of the semester which for me was a good thing. He makes it very easy to understand the material by giving concrete examples.

Steve is great! Such a silly and caring guy. He's super passionate about Accounting and it shows! He always offers help and goes through the material each week. The material is a bit difficult and the homework is quite lengthy. Although! All exams and homework are open until the end of the semester. More time is lovely, but be careful too.

I took this fully online, Mr. Everett is super chill about deadlines, just make sure that you finish everything by the end of the semester. Every week, he assigns 1 class prep (30 min) , 1 homework 1-2 hrs, an adaptive study plan (30min), and then an exam for the entire chapter. I enjoyed having this professor every step as he broke down the chapters week by week allowing you the time to have a life. Depending one where you are in life difficulty of course is based on the individual and I felt this was a a level 2.0 difficulty not easy I could just breeze through but not overly difficult either.

Out of all the professors I've had, he is the best one! Super nice and in my class he had a one on one discussion to ask questions/a weekly check in and I really enjoyed that! I was scared going into an accounting college class, but it was laid out very nice to make it easy to understand!

My favorite part about his class was not only the time and care he showed all of his students, but the one on one discussions where he would check in each week, you could ask questions, talk about your life, and discuss things with him. I had the ability to study ahead, and watch lectures then do my assignments and homework.
