Dr. Flemer was my first Chemistry professor. I was dreading chemistry, but through out the semester it became one of my favorite classes because of him. He is a clear grader, humorous and engaging, prompt in responding to emails and meeting with students, and an overall great guy. If you have to take an intro chemistry course, take it with him.
Professor Flemer is an awesome teacher! His lectures are extremely organized, and light hearted. He is very approachable, and wishes nothing more than for all of his students to be successful. No worries if chemistry isn't your best class, he is always more than willing to help you out whenever you need it!
Flemer is by far the best professor I have had yet (and I've had some pretty great ones). He is so approachable and truly cares about his students, and his lectures are clear, engaging, and funny. If you're taking an intro to chemistry class he is your guy... he made this course my favorite yet. Blessed to have him as a professor for 2 semesters.
Flemer was awesome! If you attend class and take good notes and do the practice problems he gives you it really is not all that bad. That being said... seriously do the practice problems. He is always willing to meet with you and help you, defiantly has a good sense of humor, he explains stuff really well and all in all just a great professor
Flemer was awesome. He kept chemistry simple and enjoyable to learn. He posts his notes online, which were essential to getting an A. Attendance wasn't mandatory, but it helps to go to the classes to do well. The textbook was extremely helpful for exams.
Great class. Answered all of my emails. Challenging for myself but he was very helpful and avaiable
Flemer is amazing and took something like Organic and Biochemistry (a class which I thought I was going to bomb) into something fun and a class I looked forward to during the week.
Great guy. Great teacher. He truly cares about each and every student. He will work with you to get you the grade you want. He has interesting, engaging, easy to follow lecture and will provide you a tone of support and materials to help you along with tricky topics.
Flemer is by far one of my favorite professors. I had him for both Chem 001 and Chem 026. He breaks everything down so that EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE can understand it. He is willing to put in so much extra time to make sure that you understand the material. My lab TA was awful for Chem 001 and Flemer came in and saved the day!
Great teacher, goes into depth with each topic. First class I took with him (Chem 23) I never went to class, never received notes, barely touched my textbook, and still managed a C+. For Chem 26 I am expecting B+, but I attended every single lecture, barely used text book, and studied mine and his online notes. Study, and you'll be fine.
Flemer is the best professor at UVM hands down. He is willing to do anything to help each student succeed. I especially liked the fact that he took time to stop by each lab session to see how it was going. He gives you all the tools to succeed like flashcards and review sheets, so basically just study those and you'll get a great grade.
Explanations are perfect, respects students, review sections held are very helpful.
Mr. Flemer is the best teacher I have ever had. Very smart and uses language that is understandable. Also very caring, smart, and funny.
I skipped class a ton but his online lecture notes are super helpful.
Flemer is a great Chem professor. Highly recommend for Chem 23/26. Make a friend in the class so you can get the notes if you miss a lecture; he posts his notes online but they are not as complete as they would be if you were in class.
Flemer is an AMAZING professor! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him. He is always there to help those who need it. He is an all around great person, he wants to see his students succeed and his office hours are super helpful. He makes a not so easy class manageable and you learn a lot. He really is the best professor I've had!
Steve Flemer was a great teacher who really cared about his students! He showed enthusiasm towards the course materials (how is that even possible with chemistry?!) which made being in class more enjoyable.
He was probably one of the best teachers I've had here. He made everything easy to understand and he made sure he answered any questions to the best of his ability. He's definitely a professor I wish I could have again. Just make sure you follow along and do the work and take notes, it is chemistry so there is some hard parts. Do practice problems!
Great Lectures
Charismatic, intelligent, and provides strong learning tools!
I always dreaded having to take Organic Chemistry but I actually wound up enjoying it with Flemer as my professor. I also had him for General Chemistry and he's just the best!! He's clearly passionate about chemistry and that makes the lectures so much better.
favorite saying, hoo shot john
He is a really great professor who cares so much about his students and wants them to do well. He is very accessible outside of the class room and explains everything very well. Funny and kind :)
He has 3 tests and one final that counts as two test grades. He'll drop your lowest grade too. Although he only hold's 8:30am's, the lectures are easy to follow. He simplifies everything, so just rent the textbook, you probably wont read everything.
Flemer was one of the best professors I have had thus far. Although I did not do well in his class, he was a great teacher. He really is passionate about what he teaches which makes a huge difference in wanting to learn.
Flemer was one of the best professors I've ever had. He's super passionate about what he teaches, and very concerned with making sure everyone understands a concept before moving on. He's funny and energetic and makes an 8:30am chem class as fun as it could possibly be. You definitely need to pay attention to his lectures, though.
Steve Flemer is one of the best professors I've had. He is very straightforward & concise. His door is always open if one needs help & if you go to office hours he will make sure you leave understanding the material. He also is really funny & an approachable person.
Funny/kind guy that gives lots of help
A very engaging professor! He cares about you as a student. If you put in the effort you will do good. If you respect him, he will respect you. Very readily available to answer questions or respond to emails. Fair grader, not in to trick you. Definitely would recommend him to other students!! :)
Flemer makes learning Chemistry easy. He is a great teacher to have.
Awesome professor. Prepares the class well for exams. Cares about students.
Flemer was one of the best professors I have had so far! He cares about students and wants everyone to do well on his exams. He gives you resources for you to use for studying and the practice problems he assigns from the book are exactly like the ones on the tests. He keeps his lectures upbeat and will always answer any questions you have!
Great guy! Gives you everything you need to succeed. Do the practice problems and youre golden.
The lectures were good and not too heavy. Attendance wasn't mandatory but if I didn't show up I would not have known what was going on. Everything was explained really well and the labs went along with the lectures which helped me understand the material.
He's just overall a good teacher. Clear explanation and he wants you to pass
Great Class! Loved the professor and I can't wait to have him for chemistry next semester too!
Great guy, but will never cut you any slack. Doesn't give a flying crap about what's happening in your life if you're struggling with the material before an exam. Stay on top of material and you will pass this class easily.
Steve is such an awesome guy
Best professor I have had.
very nice and great at teaching to make sure everyone understands
Definitely passable, tests are ehh
Flemer's lectures are really informative, and he's good at clearly presenting the info you need. Exams were fair and not overly hard. Barely had to crack the textbook because he covered everything you needed to know in lecture. Friendly guy, accessible for help at the end of and outside of class, seems to care if you learn or not.
He's super approachable and easy to reach outside of class! Definitely get the textbook, he actually uses it and the practice problems he assigns are really helpful for exams!
if you put in the work, you'll do well and actually learn
He is the best chemistry teacher you could ever ask for.
Flemer truly cares about all of his students, and wants everyone to do well. He is very approachable. His lectures cover everything from the ground up, so don't miss too many and you won't really need the textbook.
Professor Flemer is my favorite teacher that I have had all year and I am lucky to have him next semester. He makes Chemistry interesting and something that I want to continue to learn.
Flemdog was an awesome teacher. The course consists of basically no homework, only optional practice problems. Our grades were made up of our weekly quizzes (online), 3 exams, lab grade and the final. Definitely go to his lectures, although not mandatory, they're helpful.
I love this guy!
If you have to take chemistry, Flemer is your guy.
Attending the lectures is very helpful especially with the weekly online quizzes he gives.
Prof. Flemer is charismatic, kind-hearted, and knows how to really bond with his students. Really turned a dry, difficult-at-times subject into a fun, interesting time. 10/10 on his lecture skills and involvement with the class. I only want to take chemistry if Flemer is the professor.
Knew my name from the start of the class, clearly cared how I did in his course. Said hi to me outside of class when he saw me. Has some sick tats and is honestly just an awesome person. Wore a Ramones shirt to the final exam. He rocks.
He's a nice guy, helps the class to go smoothly. Not hard and easy to follow.
super easy class if you took high school chem and did decent. way easier then chem 31
I love Flemer. He is an amazing professor. If you have the chance to take him, DO IT! He makes chemistry actually decent to listen to. He is always there for his students, and will help you with anything. He is definitely on of my favorite professors at UVM by far. His tests are fair, so study! He is awesome! You won't regret taking his class!
Chem 023 is a challenging class especially if chemistry isn't your strength. However, Flemer is a helpful and caring teacher.
I didn't like chemistry in high school because it was hard for me, but he made the material interesting and understandable.
I definitely didn't go to class as much as I should have, but he is clear in his expectations which makes it easy t catch up out side of class. Gives you many opportunities to do well.
Flemer was incredible. I was really nervous to take chem, but he made the material so much easier to understand. He was super approachable and fair. If you go to class and study you will do fine!
Flemer was an amazing professor. He is literally so passionate about the info he's teaching, making it so much easier to pay attention. (even having the class at 8:30 AM). He's always open for office hours and willing to help with anything! Highly reccomend. Love this guy.
Flemer was by far my favorite professor this semester. He knows what he's talking about, he makes chemistry interesting, and I absolutely loved the class. There is nothing bad I can say about him or his class. He is fair when it comes to grading, he is kind to students, and he provides wonderful exam resources.
Incredible teacher. Flemer made chem incredibly straightforward and was highly engaging. A must take!!
I almost didn't pass chemistry in high school-- Flemer makes this class enjoyable and approachable if you are willing to put in the time and effort. Excited to have him next semester too!
Good class, weekly quizzes are way too significant on the overall grade. No exam prep in class.
Good class, weekly quizzes are way too significant on the overall grade. No exam prep in class, and no help in class to go over info
He's makes sure his students understand and is willing to help anyone who comes to him
Flemer is charismatic and his lectures are easy to pay attention and is very clear in explaining the concepts. There are few ways to earn points other than exams and labs, so make sure to study and go to his office hours and the extra sessions with the TA. Flemer really wants you to succeed and supplies many ways to help you do well on exams.
Flemer is the best teacher I've had at UVM thus far. Lectures are very clear and relatively easy to follow. He always stops for questions and makes sure everyone has a clear understanding of the material. He prepares you very well for the tests, with review sessions and practice tests. He is friendly and keeps the lectures engaging. LOVE HIM
Flemer is by far the best professor I have ever had. Very thorough and willing to help which is awesome. Class isn't mandatory however I would not recommend skipping since he covers such a large amount of material in small amounts of time. Overall, I learned a lot and am excited to have him again next semester!
SOOOO SLOW. He gives enough examples and spends enough time on each concept to make it easy, but doesn't go fast enough to make it interesting. Super boring 8:30 am lectures, and he doesn't even try to make it interactive.
Great professor, difficult class. He's quite literally voted best professor in the University, and it's true. Go to TA office hours and you'll get a solid grade.
Best chemistry class I've ever taken. Two bonus opportunities, one is attendance based (have to be in class to get it) and the other is finding typos in the textbook. He says that the book is really useful and some people used it a ton while others got everything they needed from lecture and practice exams.
He really wants you to pass. Drops your lowest exam grade, LOTS of partial credit on exams, and doesnt make you memorize unnecessary equations or anything, he really just wants you to know the material. Attendance isnt mandatory, but good luck passing if you skip. Text book isnt either, but I HIGHLY suggest it for practice problems/post-lab help
Flemer is an awesome teacher. He truly cares about his students and wants them all to do well. His lectures are easy to understand too, I've always been so bad at chem but hes helped me understand everything. Seriously the chillest guy.
Flemer is a great professor. He is engaging and his notes are very helpful. There is no homework for the class, but he suggests that you do practice problems for each chapter and these are very helpful. This is the only thing you need the book for, so I recommend sharing it with a friend. His practice exams are pretty much the same as his tests.
My favorite prof my first semester at college. Made chemistry surprisingly enjoyable. Wish he could teach all of my classes he made everything a lot easier to understand.
Flemer's class is tough but if you go to lecture, pay attention, and study you'll pass- also he's super funny, super nice, tatted up, and in a rock band.
Flemer is an outstanding professor who makes chemistry enjoyable. Not only is he entertaining and good at explaining things in class, he also is always willing to help you understand things outside of class. You should definitely go to class if you want to do well on exams. SI and exam review sessions are helpful, too. Would definitely take again.
great professor, relays all the tools you need to do well and excel in the class. go to class and pay attention and you will be fine.
Flemer is one of the funniest profs around and he really cares about you even in a large class. He explains complicated concepts with ease. Holds office hours 5 days/ week! There's lots of additional support too: weekly review sessions, review sessions held before the exams. The exams are graded very fairly and grades are posted within 24 hours!!
Flemer is hands down the best professor I have had so far. He is caring and comedic, with his students' success being his top priority. Wish every professor was like him!
Awesome teacher!! He made Chemistry very enjoyable and understanding.
Prof. Flemer has such a great sense of humor and it is really easy to understand the material the way he teaches it. I loved it!
Super awesome teacher, really nice, attendance isn't mandatory, i skipped a lot and still got good exam grades.
He's the best
Dr. Flemer aka Flemdog Millionaire is a boss instructor. Class isn't mandatory but he might give you extra credit for showing up. Lab is easy, so are exams. Steve rocks!
Lectures are helpful. If I was stuck I would read the book which usually solved my issue. Not a very difficult class, but not easy.
Absolutely amazing, took chemistry before and hated it barely passed. Took it with Flemer and it all made sense and class was enjoyable. He never misses a beat and will have engaging lectures. Great Teacher.
He really gives you all the materials needed to be prepared for exams
Made chemistry tolerable and was funny in an 8:30 am class!
I took Chem 031 before I took this class and had to withdraw. I thought I hated chemistry until I took Chem 023 with Flemer. His lectures are engaging and it's hard to not do well as long as you show up and pay attention.
I really enjoyed his lectures. It was funny and really helped better my understanding of the material. He is also very personable and ready to help with any questions you might have. I would definitely take his class again.
this class was my favorite course out of all the ones i took with it my first semester. Flemer is passionate and an amazing professor; one of my favorites. i cant wait to have him again for orgo. he is wonderful and the class is worth taking. i highly recommend this course and professor.
Provides so many opportunities for extra help, even gives random extra credit when he feels like it. One if not the best professor on campus, you wont regret his class even if the material is hard.
I absolutely loved this class. Professor Flemer knows chemistry so well. Through his lectures he makes it very clear that he also wants you to do well. His exams are very manageable and he is in no way trying to trick you on them. Flemer could honestly teach chemistry to anyone as long as you are willing to learn it.
Very nice, and gives extra credit easily.
Hes really understanding and truly wants to see each of us succeed in the class and does his best to help if you put in the work too, great professor.
Favorite professor. Makes amazing analogies in lecture and his bonus questions on tests are super funny.
amazing professor, lucky to have had him all year, good at explaining and cares a lot about his student's success
Flemer is an awesome professor, who is clear, respected, and cares about his student's work, but you can't slack in his classes, if you slack you just won't pass
Third course with this professor. Great teacher, did a good job making the content clear and understandable. Also very entertaining guy, ideal to lighten up the mood when studying chemistry. Would highly recommend.
Best professor at UVM! He really cares about his students. His lectures are clear and easy to follow. He gives a great practice exam before each exam. If you put in the effort you should do great in this class!
Made chemistry intersesting and fun.
Flemer is amazing! Took chem 23 and 26 with him and wish he taught all my other classes.
Flemer is probably one of the best professors you will have at UVM. He is easily the definition of "a professor makes or breaks a class". You have to study and actually go to class, but why wouldn't you, he is literally the sweetest man ever. He loves what he teaches and really makes the class worth it. If you ever need help, he is always there! :)
Best Profesor. Can tend to go a little fast at times so keep up and pay attention. Take note of little things, could possibly be a an extra credit question on exams. He teaches very well and clearly. If you don't understand something, feel free to ask questions, he'll explain it. He's very approachable, so don't be afraid to go to office hours.
Flemer is the man. You should take this class solely because of him. I love him so much. I wish I saw him everyday. He's a very good lecturer.
Flemer is awesome. Whenever you're confused you can go to office hours and get help, but you can pretty much understand everything from lectures. I am someone who hates Chemistry but I really enjoyed the class overall. Don't have to use the textbook but you can for extra practice. So many extra resources for help in this class.
Flemer made ME enjoy CHEMISTRY at 8:30am. I wish every professor lectured like him and provided study guides and notes like he does!
Flemer is such a great guy and an even better professor. you definitely won't regret taking a class with him and you'll learn a LOT, hes really good at explaining things and goes just slow enough that you can understand but not so slow that its boring
He is the best professor in this school!!!!
Flemer is by far one of the best professors have had at UVM. As a person he is kind, really funny, and truly cares about his students. As a professor he explains the material very well and goes at just the right pace. He has made me actually enjoy chem at 8 am. Before the exams he gives out an exam review, and a study guide that are VERY helpful.
Steve is amazing, and is probably my favorite teacher. He explains some things quickly, but is always available to answer questions and helps as much as he can. There are a lot of resources to do well, like practice tests and study sessions. And Steve is super funny and really wants the best for his students.
An amazing professor- hilarious, intelligent and really care about the success of his students. He goes at a nice pace and doesn't pull trick questions or pop quizzes. I would highly recommend.
Flemer was a great professor. He was a little sassy at points WHICH I VIBED WITH, but overall his class was so incredibly easy anyone can pass it. Show up to lectures, take notes and do the practice exams! There's virtually no way to fail this class because of the resources he posts.
really nice person, exams can be a bit tricky though
As long as you have some background in chemistry, this class should be an easy A. Just show up to lectures and you shouldn't have many problems. And if you do, Flemer is a super approachable guy.
Steve is an amazing professor. His lectures were fun, engaging, and entertaining. The notes he used during lectures were easy to follow and made studying for tests so much easier. Attendance was not mandatory but I truly enjoyed attending his lectures because I knew that it would be a fun and rewarding experience.
No assignments except exams
As a person who really struggled in chemistry, I am so fortunate to have gotten Flemer! Lectures were very engaging and he provided excellent resources outside of class! Exams were fair, a little tricky though. If you're unsure of what's going on, go to office his hours! He's very approachable & will help you succeed as best he can!
Dr. Flemer is one of, if not the, best professors I've ever taken. His lectures are incredible, he is very responsive through email, he is available with frequent office hours. He is honest, caring, and real. He remembers what it is like to be a student. If you want to love and enjoy chemistry, he is the one to take. I wish I could take him again!
Great lecturer; explains things clearly, well organized, and interesting. Says a lot that I didn't despise an 8:30 lecture in a subject I usually hate. Class difficulty is very reasonable, if you show up, do the work, and ask questions, you can get an A. Approachable, funny, and very good at conveying concepts in a very introductory level way.
Very nice and explains material well, just a challenging course in general. Go to lectures!!!
he is amazing
He's the best professor you're going to get for chem. The material is hard of course , but he makes it possible for you to understand. 10/10.
Flemer is a true gem and somehow makes a hard topic easy and digestible. One of the best professors I've had at UVM and he really cares for his students!
I absolutely love this man, he is available in or out of class to help with anything that you need which is really helpful especially in a chem class which otherwise would be really hard. He is also very enthusiastic which makes his lectures easy to pay attention to and learn from
Flemer was amazing. I'm super bummed I won't be able to take another one of his classes. He makes lectures super engaging and he's hilarious. Exams are super straightforward and he's super accessible to ask questions! Definitely take a class with Flemer if you can!!
Super good at explaining the material and is super dedicated to making sure that each student is able to grasp the concepts. The notes were easy to follow along with and he also provided the notes that he utilizes when he is developing the course. Gives a lot of opportunity to practice work and great at giving out additional materials to use
I realled enjoyed this professor. I was nervous to take Organic Chemistry and figured it'd be very fast pace. Steve went at an easy pace and made sure to answer any questions people had.
I wish he could be my professor forever. Easily the best. Super engaging and approachable. Clearly loves chemistry and teaching it.
Flemer is an excellent professor. Not a fan of chemistry? No problem. He explains it in a way that makes you want to learn, even if you're not totally trilled by the topic. Very approachable and is always happy to help if you're having trouble understanding a concept. Study, though. Don't mistake his kindness for easy tests.
Without a doubt the best teacher I have ever had. He really cares about you LEARNING the material and understands that this is a hard subject that needs to be simplified. He gives you everything you need to pass the exams, too. Hard class, but very low stress as long as you do what he recommends (textbook problems, practice exams, etc)
Flemer is overall a great professor. I took CHEM23 with Pratt by accident and was the worst disaster of my life so 26 was a relief. No lie the class is hard, chem is not a joke and neither is this class. Flemer is a great teacher, works super hard to make lectures easy and understandable but since its only an 830 its easy to skip, don't skip!
Flemer is an amazing professor, and he explains everything so clearly. He makes organic & biochemistry make sense in a simple way, and he genuinely cares about the success of his students. I wish I could have him as a professor again!!
Best science teacher I've ever taken. HIGHLY recommend
I took Flemer's Intro to Organic Chem and Biochem course, not gonna lie- the course itself its pretty boring and difficult unless you're into chem but Flemer makes the course really doable. As long as you take good notes, use the textbook to study, and spend a bit of time studying the material you're good. He's super sweet and forgiving of mistakes
I took both general chem and organic chem with Flemer, and passed with a B even though I find chemestry challenging. He explains concepts very well and goes through the material at just the right speed. Weekly quizzes, exams, & lab are graded. He's also the most caring professor I've had at UVM; in a class of over 200 people he remembered my name(:
i dont like chem but if you have to take it take it with him!
very helpful during office hours! Super interested in organic chemistry, keeps you awake during morning lectures
Flemer is seriously the best professor I've had. He care so much about chemistry and it shows. His lectures are engaging and he teaches gen chem as if all his students have never taken a chemistry class before and he made organic and bio chem a breeze for me. Attendance is not mandatory but you will not do well on the exams if you don't go.
Took chem with Flemer prepared for it to be hard because everyone said chem is hard here, but he made it so easy! Makes everything understandable and is funny while doing it. Take chem with him if you can, youll be doing yourself a favor.
Professor Flemer is a fair and fun teacher.
Flemmer provides ample material to help students study for exams. He is very willing to meet with students outside of class for extra help. He posts flashcards, practice exams, and his notes online. If you attend his lectures and use his study materials, you will do well in the class!
Teaches the course as if you have never taken a chemistry course in your life. He explains everything that he lectures on, which makes the material very easy to follow. His spirit is what gets me through that 8:30. Genuinely a helpful teacher, you will benefit from attending class. Looking forward to next semester with him!
I hated chem in high school and had a sucky teacher but Flemer is the nicest and most caring professor I've ever had. He genuinely wants all of his students to succeed and love chemistry as much as he does. Consider yourself lucky if you get him for chem.
Flemer is an AMAZING professor. There are minimal assignments, meaning you have to keep up on your own. As long as you go to the lectures and study for the exams, the class isn't stressful. Lectures aren't a must, but they make it a LOT easier to keep up. Also, he makes a ton of dad jokes. Love this guy, would definitely recommend!!
Very funny, really cares about chemistry and his students. Probably one of the better teachers you could take here
Flemer is the best! He posts plenty of practice problems online, along with practice exams and even flashcards! If you really put effort into his class an A is obtainable. He is also super accessible outside of class. Highly recommend!
FLEMER IS THE BEST PROFESSOR EVER! He gives the class a lot of resources such as practice exams and review guides to study for the exam. Also super approachable and accessible outside of class. While attendance isn't mandatory, it really helps to go the lectures to better understand the content taught in class.
Very dedicated professor who provides us with all the resources that we need to succeed without it being too overwhelming. I took chem in HS and hated it, but because of Flemer chemistry actually made sense and I liked chem
Mr. Flemer is the best teacher I have ever had!!! He makes 8:30 lectures bearable and explains everything in a very simple and understandable way. I hated chem in high school and was scared to take it in college but because I had him as my professor I loved the class! I can't wait to have him again for Chem 26 I really can't recommend him enough
Okay.. I never went to class. DO NOT DO THIS. If you go to lecture (which I kinda did second half of the semester) you will follow the material and learn. Don't work through the homework quickly, that's your time to test what you know and is one of the best ways, imo, to prepare for the exams. Exams are TOUGH, study as much as everyone says.
Prof. Flemmer is GREAT! highly recommend his class. I took him for General Chem and Organic & Biochem and he was great for both. No textbook -- everything is posted on Blackboard. Grading is a little whacky so beware of pre-lab quizzes but other than that really fair. Tests are just like the study guide.
Steve Flemer is amazing. He responds to emails in a timely manner (even during a pandemic). He only uses his powerpoints as material so its clear what to study but you want to go to his lectures because he explains in more depth and adds more information. He makes dad jokes and truly cares about his students. He wants you to succeed.
I wish he could teach all my classes
Flemer is awesome. Tough curriculum but he does a great job teaching it. If you have to take a science and he's an option, take his class!!!
I wish I could of taken this class in person. My grade would have change significantly with the interaction. I think this class is much more manageable if you dont take it online.
Professor Flemer was extraordinarily understanding towards my situation this year and made appropriate preparations when I asked to switch to being remote. If you do not study you WILL NOT PASS If chemistry does not come easy like me you will need to get help from him otherwise you will not pass. He does not assign homework and you only have 4 test
Flemer is a really great professor! He explains the class content clearly and is always willing to help. He promptly responds to emails, and he provides lots of resources to help with understanding the content and studying for the exams.
Amazing teacher, I loved the class. He was always so helpful. The lectures were interesting, engaging and fun. He was super helpful and friendly during office hours and always remembered who we were whenever we came back! He was always welcoming. My favorite teacher this semester. He handled the difficulties of teaching during Covid amazingly.
Best professor at UVM by far. Actually knows how to teach and effectively communicate course content. Very accessible outside of class and loves helping students.
Some Exam questions are worded in a way which makes them hard to interpret. On the final there was a repeat of the that same question, and even on one question, a verified correct answer was not an option. But, overall he is a good CHEM professor. He is very knowledgeable on the subject.
Would highly recommend Professor Flemer!
Professor Flemer is amazing!! He cares about his students so much and really wants them to succeed. He is extremely approachable and is always willing to help his students. Definitely take advantage of the S.I. review sessions. Don't be afraid to ask questions and email him!
Professor Flemer was an amazing professor. While I was nervous about doing well in Chemistry, I quickly found that he wanted to work with us to help us understand the material. I always knew what was expected of me each week and felt that his in-person lectures were helpful. You can tell that he genuinely cares about his students!
i love him!!!
Lectures were concise and organized, it never felt like a waste of time to attend. Thorough lecture notes provided. Exams were more challenging than I initially anticipated but totally doable. Overall great professor!
Flemer was great, made Chem alot easier.
Great professor. If you have to take chem at UVM try your absolute hardest to get Flemer. I have heard negative things about the other chem professors but he was great. Very understandable and very responsive to email questions. It might be because I took the class online during COVID season, but the exam questions are much harder than examples
Professor Flemer is the best Professor I have ever had. I emailed him asking how to improve my grade, and not only did he send over a bunch of helpful tips, he learned my name and continues to actively make sure I was doing ok (both mentally and grade wise). You can tell he really loves his job.
Professor Flemer is awesome. You can tell he really cares about his students. It was harder this semester to do most of the lectures online but he has a summary in-person lecture once a week which was really helpful. Overall, not too bad if you keep up with the quizzes and the study hard for the exams.
I didn't need to take this class, but took it anyway. He is an amazing professor! I am looking forward to taking another class with him soon. I found the tests reasonably challenging, and you have to be able to expand and apply the concepts you learn in class to slightly more challenging problems. But he doesn't ask for anything unreasonable.
Professor Flemer is just wonderful! I had him for general chemistry and organic chemistry and he is a great teacher. He's really kind and willing to help and is very accessible. I highly recommend doing his practice worksheets because they really help you prep well for the exams. Grant yourself lucky to have Professor Flemer for any of his classes!
Love him!!! So nice and really cares. He has office hours like every day!
Flemer is the best!!! Had him for two semesters and wish he was still the one teaching my classes. The most organized class I've ever taken. Took this class online so it was pretty easy but I imagine it was hard in person. Even if it was though, he'd get you through it. The only online class I didn't hate. <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3
The professor himself was fine. But, the way he taught can be difficult to understand sometimes as he goes over everything quickly. So don't skip, if you want to pass :)
I love the professor and his love for teaching. However, his teaching method really didn't get across to me because his teaching wasn't sweet and simple it was complex and difficult. I really wished although t's just a 50 minute classe I wish we did a something fun like Kahoot or something to learn the materials better.
I absolutely loved prof flemer! he clearly wants his students to know the content and has office hours all the time, which i highly reccomend going to if you need any extra help. His classes were also always super organized
he is an amazing professor, such a kind man who makes chemistry interesting and easy to follow
Such an amazing teacher!! I've sat un my friend's chem lectures before and Flemer is way more engaging- so nice and really wants everyone to do good so don't be afraid to ask for help! no textbook which was super nice:))
i love this dude. i am so bad at chemistry but passed both sections with at least a B. best professor i've had at this school hands down, he is so kind and really cares about the students success
I love chem, but I have to admit I did get a little lost sometimes during his lectures. He is very lecture heavy and while attendance is not mandatory, if you want to do well you should attend every class. He is very engaging and makes jokes and goes through examples while he is reading the material to you.
good teacher, clear lectures and gives study material and practice exams.
I have never actually spoken to this man but I would die for him. He is funny, kind, entertaining, his lectures are engaging and helpful. Exams are completely manageable if you pay attention, take notes, and ask for support if needed. I failed chem in HS but did well in this course because of how well it was taught. SI sessions were very helpful.
15/10. I would do anything for Steve. He is such a good lecturer and even though I'm notoriously bad at chem I understood things and felt confident. Exams are very manageable if you go to lecture, take notes, etc. I wish all my classes were taught by him he has a way of making things easy - I didn't have to teach much to myself which is refreshing
Flemer is an amazing professor. Lectures are very informational and he makes them fun. He is understanding and is always willing to help you out. Exams are tough but they are exactly like the review exam he posts but definitely still go over all ur notes.
Steve Flemer is an amazing lecturer. I had him for two semesters and loved it! He is lots of fun and always willing to answer questions and slow things down. If you need to reach out to him he is happy to assist and always willing to meet with students one on one. If you are in CNHS, his classes are ones to look forward to as difficult as they are.
He was a really good professor and you can tell that he's passionate about what he teaches. As long as you put the effort in to understand what is being taught you will be fine. He doesn't take attendance in every class, but going to class will help you understand the material more as there is no textbook.
Flemer was by far my favorite prof so far - he's very funny and although I've never actually interacted with him he seems very kind and loves teaching. He lectures pretty slowly to account for people who've never learned the material so its digestible. Tests are exactly like the practice exams. He gives lots of practice problems and detailed notes.
Prof Flemer deserves 5 stars! He's a down-to-earth professor & is always available outside of class. I went to office hours & he was so nice and helpful. We ended up chatting about how I felt about the final. His lectures aren't super interactive so you just have to listen & take notes, but it's kind of nice for an 8:30 class with 200 students.
LOVE LOVE LOVE FLEMER!!!! Chem 023 and 026 are not the easiest classes, but he always did his very best to teach the material in a sensical, organized way. He always offers review sessions the night before exams and has daily office hours. It's obvious that he truly wants his students to succeed in his classes. He's a gem of a professor!
Flemer is literally the best professor I have had at UVM. He is so nice, smart, approachable, awesome, just literally everything! He is also so cool!! I am going to miss having Flemer so much :(
HES THE GOAT
I had flemer for chem 23 and chem 26 and honestly I am going to miss him so much. He teaches with so much passion and is very silly and fun to listen to. He provides lots of material to help prep for exams and both courses were laid out the same way. I love steve flemer
Literally hate chemistry and do not understand it but flemer made the class so engaging and the fact he cares so much about the students made it easier to get up at 8 in the morning lol. wish I could have him as a professor next year
Overall, a great teacher and has the best style of teaching I've had in a while.
My favorite professor at UVM. Teaches difficult material at a speed that allows you to understand. He also provides a ton of material for exam prep.
Attendance is not mandatory, but graded sign-in sheets pop up randomly throughout the semester. Flemer is the best professor I have had so far. I have had him for two semesters in a row now, and I am so sad to leave him. He is extremely caring, passionate, and charismatic. You can tell he is in love with his job. He is also very accommodating.11/10
Professor Flemer is a great professor, the classes are difficult but he makes it possible to understand the material, and the lectures tend to fly by because he makes them interesting. I most likely won't be taking another class with Professor Flemer, but that is in no way caused by him.
Professor Flemer is by far the best professor I have had during my time at UVM so far. He teaches the material at a pace that is easy to understand and follow. He is always available and accommodating outside of class if you need the extra help. He is kind and caring and it has always truly felt like he wants his students to succeed.
Prof Flemer is amazing!!!! The way he formats this course, students are set up for success. He makes learning chemistry fun and doable.
Steve made chemistry enjoyable and always had some quick joke at 9am. Would take a class with him again any time
Flemer is one of the best professors at UVM. He was able to take a course as hard as chemistry and make it interesting and learnable with the way he taught. You could tell how much he cared about the course and his students. I never saw him without a smile on his face. I would take chemistry all over again just to have him as my professor again.
Love Flemer so much. Actually helpful lectures and he makes all of his own course content. Provides practice exams, flashcards, review packets, and review sessions before each exam. Also jsut a really likeable guy. Course is slightly challenging but it would be ten times harder with any other prof.
Flemer has very fun and engaging lectures - almost made me excited for my 8:30 class!
Flemer is amazing! Chemistry is such a difficult subject but Flemer is very clear with his grading criteria and his lectures (and review material) prepare you very well for exams. I am gonna miss Flemer so much!
I struggled both with AP chem and Advanced Chem. I passed his classes very well, but you have to use the resources he gives you. DO the homework, and STUDY his review guides. Email him if you have questions and he answers quickly. He will work with you if you need help.
Professor Flemer was an awesome professor! I had him for Chem 032 and 026! While Chemistry and Organic Chemistry are not easy, he helped make them more manageable to learn. With effort put into taking notes and studying, it is not difficult to get at least a B, as he wants you to succeed.
Professor Flemer has been incredible. This is the second semester I have had him for Chem (023 and 026) and I absolutely loved both classes. I am terrible at chemistry, but Flemdawg made both courses easy to understand. Flemer really cares about his students and is very understanding and willing to help.
Flemer is genuinely the best professor at UVM. He teaches such a hard class but makes it fun and makes you feel worthy of being there. At no point does he belittle students intelligence and he is consistently upbeat! He has a very kind energy and is very approachable. The class is hard because of the material, but somehow he makes it enjoyable.
I was so scared to take general and organic chemistry, because it has never been my strong suite. Professor Flemer made the class so much more interesting and easy to understand. It is still a difficult class, but having him as a professor makes it easier to succeed.
Flemer is a good lecturer and explains content very well. The slides are very helpful for review. I highly recommend taking his class!
Great lectures, not tech savvy at all but posts everything. I hate chemistry but he made it a much better experience.
His lectures are easy to understand and follow and is eager to answer questions, no matter the difficulty. Although chem is hard, being taught by him made learning it fun and has actually sparked my interest in the field, making me want to pursue more classes like this.
Flemer is literally the best prof I've had during my time at UVM. He genuinely wants us all to succeed and will do everything he can to help you do that. He is there for extra help for whatever you need and gives a ton of practice problems, study guides, and flashcards before exams. Also, lectures are pretty funny with all his jokes :)
The class was definitely very difficult, but Flemer made it just about as easy to digest as one could make it. Great professor, and a great guy in general. He is very approachable and is very sincere in wanting everyone to succeed, but also knows his stuff very well.
Very great professor, but you have to go to class. Attendance is taken randomly but it is very difficult to teach yourself the material. He's a great guy and wants to see his students succeed. Tests are challenging but so is the course material
Had Flemer for CHEM023 and really liked him. This semester he moved too quickly, discussed information without letting us copy it down, and the exams were really hard. I got a 95 on my first exam and continued to do worse throughout the semester. Also 8:30 classes suck.
Flemer needs to be taught how to answer emails like a caring, respectful professional. I have professionally emailed him twice & both have been horrendous interactions. I asked for a recommendation & he rudely declined -- there is a nice way to say no & I asked for a grade appeal & he replied w/ a scathing email telling me appeals are in bad form.
Flemer is nice, but the course is difficult. Only resource is his own notes but they are very limited and not much help. Hard to teach yourself organic chemistry with no textbook. Exams were tough and I often found content on exams that we didn't really go over in class.
Flemer's class is extremely hard, but it's well taught and he's pretty cool. You're only graded by a few things, but he drops one exam. He is not polite over email; do not even ask for any kind of flexibility. Study constantly for the class, not just a week before the exam. His study resources are good. Study for the prelab quizzes.
His lectures move really quick, exams are extremely difficult. Dedicate a lot of time to study material. Office hours, supplemental instruction, tutoring, youtube, is what has helped me along this course. Wish flemer had moved though material at a slower pace.
Flemer is an amazing professor and is so engaging and makes class really fun. Chemistry is a hard subject but Flemer makes it interesting and honestly probably as easy as possible. He really cares about his students and wants to see them succeed. I would definitely recommend taking any chemistry courses with him.
Chemistry was NOT a class I was excited to take especially with what I had heard about the other chemistry professors, but I have been so amazingly surprised by Flemer's class. While the content is not easy, nor is it meant to be, it is a foundational class for many majors who take it and Flemer makes it fun and doable! I can't recommend him more!
Steve Flemer has been the best professor I have had so far. While I struggled throughout the course, he was very understanding and open to answering any questions I had. His lectures move at a fast pace, but he keeps them very engaging and funny. However, Be prepared to study daily and attend office hours, study sessions, and tutoring!
favorite class to go to every tuesday and thursday mornings
He is one of the best teachers I have ever had. An absolute master class on teaching.
Great teacher, cares a lot about students, and lectures are always interesting. Make sure to do the practice problems he posts and do the test review and the class will be chill. Review material reflects the tests well.
I love flemer, you can tell he loves chemistry and actually cares about students definitely take chemistry with him if you can.
Prof Flemer was an all around great professor. Although the class was difficult, he made it much better. He goes through everything in detail and will repeat himself if need be. Really cares for students and our grades and wants us to succeed. Super funny too and tries to keep the lectures entertaining.
Professor Flemmer was extremely helpful in my success in his course. Of course, chemistry is not an easy subject, so you have to put in the effort, but his teaching and resources make it easy. He provides practice questions and exams for every unit/ exam. Love him! Also is super funny.
Flemdog Millionaire is so funny and class is actually enjoyable
Very knowledgeable and makes the content very accessible to students
He is so good I love him
Professor Flemer is amazing. He made the transition from high school science classes to college science easy. He stands by the statement "there are no dumb questions." You could ask the most simple question that he answered two seconds prior and he would still explain it in depth. The topics are challenging but he makes them as simple as possible.
I had Ruggles last year for gen chem and it was AWEFUL. I changed my major and dropped the class in fear of losing my scholarship, so I was very nervous to try chem again this year. But Professor Flemer made it so easy to understand and was a very approachable. He made me actually enjoy chem! Could not recommend him more, give this guy a raise!
hard and barely made it through
The guy to have for an early morning lecture- he always brings the energy and clearly cares about what he is teaching. Biggest advice would be to do the offered practice problems- use the resources even if they seem redundant or silly. The exams are not easy, but his lecturing is very good. Hefty on the note taking is the way to go for this course.
Honestly one of the best professors I've ever had at UVM. Flemer has this course planned out so well he makes it very easy to get extra help, practice problems, and posts exam reviews that are super helpful. Chemistry is a hard subject and Flemer does what he can to help everyone understand it. Make sure to take lecture notes
I have always hated chemistry with a burning passion and IT WAS MY FAVORITE CLASS THIS SEMESTER. He explains things so well, and there's no homework outside of class except for a 3 question multiple choice quiz, which really gave me plenty of time to digest the material. Really amazing professor
I hate chem, but Steve is a great lecturer. He always makes jokes and teaches the material in a digestible way. He does random attendance, which kind of sucks but it's not too bad. The homework was one weekly 3 question multiple choice quiz, which makes a good grade booster. He also drops your worst test grade. If you have to take chem take Steve.
awesome guy.
Flemer is an absolutely amazing lecturer. Chem is a very difficult subject, and he was very clear and detailed. I had his class at 8:30 and he still managed to be engaging and funny enough that I wasn't falling asleep in class. His class prepared me extremely well for other classes w/ chem pre-reqs that do not go over the chem components.
Flemer is a great prof who's really funny and personable. I took CHEM 1150 Orgo and Biochem combo. It was so hard. Go to class, he does random sign in days. Take good notes, the powerpoints aren't enough on their own. Study for tests throughout the year, not just 2 weeks before exams. He is not flexible with due dates/grade leniency.
Great professor but very difficult course.
If you have to take chem definitely take it with Flemer he makes it so easy to comprehend and is genuinely such a nice guy
One of the best professors I've had at UVM. i don't know if i would've survived organic chemistry without Flemmer, he honestly made it fun
Flemdawg is amazing definitely recommend him as a professor. I suck at chem so I knew I wouldn't do too well in this class, but you can tell he's a really caring funny guy who enjoys what he does. Orgo is no joke so make sure you take him up on help and actually attend the lectures, friends and neighbors!
best professor ever
I was so nervous about taking an organic chem class but Flemer made it really manageable and it actually became my favorite class of the semester! There was a lot of content to go through, but I enjoyed listening to the lectures and the lab was really fun too. To any upcoming nursing students- don't worry about this class, Flemer makes it great!
This course is difficult but Flemer makes bit easier. He provides many resources to prepare for exams (S.I sessions, office hours, practice problems per unit and practice exams, and review sessions before the test) and clearly outlines the grading criteria. The quizzes may seem unimportant but the average of them can really change your grade
Great professor, enthusiastic about content.
Flemer is such a good professor. The material is hard, but he makes it fun and accessible
Flemdog millionare is a solid professor. He's such a dad. The way he delivers lecture content is at a college freshman level and he wants to see you succeed. He has strict attendance policies (random sign in sheets for the first 2 minutes of lecture, so be on time). Attendance is 10% of grade, 3 tests and a cumulitive final, the rest is weekly quiz
Flemer is a knowledgable, passionate teacher who cares about what he does. However, while he does talk a lot about how he doesn't require you to memorize things, he definitely does. Just be aware of this.
It's orgo - the class is hard! Steve does a good job teaching but there is just so much material!
Professor Flemer makes chemistry easy to understand and wants all his students to be successful.
Go to lecture and pay attention, will save you study time.
Flemer is my favorite professor I have had so far at UVM. He is so funny, entertaining and engaging in lectures. I love how class expectations are clear and easy to meet, and left a lot of time for independent study. He was super accessible outside of class, and truly cared about the success and well being of his students.
He is really great and has a deep level of care for anyone taking class and wants to help anyone understand the material when it can get difficult
he's fine but can be annoying about some stuff
Takes attendance randomly, is nice, and has good lectures. Tests are very hard and the final is cumulative
he the goat
Super sweet and easy to talk to! Best lecturer I've had in a chem class at UVM
Difficult course, tough grader, random attendance, decent person (I guess), not flexible with due dates or makeup exams, loves it when his students come on here and say nice things about him so here it is, blah blah blah...
Professor Flemer was genuinely one of the best things about this class. He is so funny, which made lectures enjoyable and engaging. He clearly cares about the material and student understanding. I felt he was a very fair professor in terms of tests and grading. He always had a smile on his face, which made me feel so much better about the class.
I. Love. Professor. Flemer. Super hard class but he's passionate about the subject, making his lectures more engaging. Do all of the practice problems (even though they're optional) and go to every lecture and pay attention. Flemer is the nicest professor ever and will never make you feel bad for asking a simple question.
Flemer is such a sweetie! Actually my favorite prof I've had and is so kind. He really wants the best for students and is always there to help. His class is hard, don't get me wrong, but if you do the practice problems and go to class you'll do just fine.
flemer is the best chem prof i've ever had. he's funny and relatable in lecture and wants everyone to succeed, always welcomes questions. the class is hard and lots of material but if you do the optional practice problems you will probs do well.
Genuinely wants students to do well.
Prof Flemer makes this hard class engaging. Do the optional practice problems and use unstuckstudy ai - it really helps with study prep. Overall, a fair yet challenging course.
Professor Flemer is an awesome guy who makes orgo and biochem super digestible and easy to understand. Very straight forward with what is expected on exams with many review sessions and study materials provided.
Flemer is easily the best professor I have had UVM for any course ever. He is so kind and caring, his lectures are beautifully made, and his slides make it extremely easy to take notes. He provides an insane amount of study materials for exam, and really just wants students to succeed. He was the reason I decided to focus my studies on chemistry
Flemer is a great chem professor! His expectations are really clear, and if you put in the effort, you'll do well.
I had a strict and unclear lab TA. When I explained the issue to Flemer I felt pushed away and unheard as a student. The class itself is well laid out in the syllabus, but grade calculation was unclear at the end of the semester.
great guy great class
He has weekly quizzes that are only 3 questions, if you get one question wrong per week you get a 66% and that counts as a test grade at the end of the sem. The test material is harder than what he goes over during class. Lab is very time consuming and not that beneficial for the tests. Do not take this class if you dont have to
Steve Flemer is the most incredible professor I have had the pleasure of expeiercing at the universty of vermont. He is a fun lecturer, who makes content easy to understand and digestible, and if his incredible lectures were not enough, he is extremely availible and happy to meet outside of class in many office hours. I recomend this professor 100%
I love Flemer, he is easily the most entertaining and attention-keeping teacher I've ever had. the content of the class is not easy and you WILL have to study a ton, but the notes are super helpful, his lectures are interesting and he answers questions in a very helpful way. he also provides review guides, practice tests etc. Highly reccomend
*CHEM 1450. Flemer is a great professor - he knows what he's talking about and his pacing is great. It's very helpful when he does problems on the board, his handwriting is good and he explains everything. He takes attendance about 1/2 the time (randomly) and allows you to miss 3-4 before it affects your grade. The subject is hard but he does good.
Professor Flemer is AMAZING. He is so knowledgable on the subject of orgo and truly cares about the subject and his students. He is very clear and concise in how he teaches and is always accessible outside of class. I really enjoyed him and his class. Orgo can be hard, but he provides so much material and help that it shouldn't be too hard! 10/10
Flemer is a great teacher and really cares about his students doing well, I often felt that the material he puts out for test preparation is nothing like the exams, so its hard to gage what to study to be prepared. If you want to do good you really gotta carve out some time to relook at all of his notes and watch his youtube videos online. Gluck!
Chemistry with Flemer has been the best chem experience of my life. I wish he could teach every chem course at UVM. His tests are super fair; every single problem is a problem he's demonstrated in class. He gives so many (optional) practice problems that are exactly like test questions. Great guy, super funny. I can't recommend him enough!
I wish I could take Flemer's class every year for every subject. His class is enjoyable, even though the material is really tough. He gives you everything you need to feel prepared for the exams and he always has a bonus question! The material is obviously hard, but he does everything he can to help get us through it (and maybe love it)!
You can tell that Flemer wants his students to do well in class. His lectures are clear and easy to understand. His tests are in person and you don't get a cheat sheet though (I know most other gen chem 2 professors have online tests and/or you can bring a cheat sheet), which is a bummer. I would still choose him over the other professors though.
I hate chem, but Flemer was genuinely so helpful this semester! He drops your lowest test (or quiz average) grade, which is super helpful, and although the tests aren't online and he doesn't have a 'test booster' like Zahardis I actually understood the content taught in class, which helped a lot on tests :) He's a super nice, funny teacher!
Flemer is the best chemistry professor that I have ever taken. His lectures are super easy to follow and organized which makes taking notes really easy. He also posts lots of practice questions which are super helpful. Even though he doesn't let you have a cheat sheet, if you pay attention in class and do the practice problems you can do well!
Flemer was awesome in class. His lectures were fun and easier to follow and I would have gone to more if they weren't at 8:30. the tests were very reasonable to the material as long as you studied. The biggest problem I had was my TA in lab which tanked my grade a bit but his tests made up for it.
flemdawg on top
Steve Flemer, a rockstar all around. Best professor I have had at UVM so far, his attitude and teaching made me work hard enough to get an A+ in General Chemistry 2, and motivated me to add Chemistry as a minor
BEST PROFESSOR EVER! Lectures are clear, easy to follow, and fun. No homework, just one weekly quiz that is online/open note. Has lots of practice problems that you can do at your own pace, and he is so willing to give you more during office hours. Just a wonderful human being and I hope everyone has the pleasure of taking a class with him!
Honestly no complaints about him, hes great! I did poorly because I suck at chem and it was an 8:30, so be prepared if you're taking it at 8:30
Flemer genuinely has to be one of the best professors I've had this semester. He's very passionate about chemistry, and he will make sure you don't fail by providing so much studying material, like practice exams, flashcards, and so much extra help! Even with the long lecture hours, he makes everything very engaging. You won't regret having him
Flemer is THE GOAT. I loved having him. He teaches Orgo in a way thats so easy to understand I loved having him and he is so so so awesome. He is an amazing person and so helpful during office hours. Don't let people scare you orgo can be hard but he makes it better!
AMAZING guy! Take him over any of the other Professors if you can! He is funny, makes lectures not boring, the final was hard I would prepare SUPER early to do well.
This class is challenging. It starts off pretty tame, but after the first test, it gets really complex, and he goes really fast. He never goes back from a previous lesson to review and starts a new unit in our last class before our final. Although he is a very sweet guy and always seems eager to help.
He is a great professor. His lectures are engaging and he is clearly passionate about what he teaches. He tries really hard to make sure students pass his class if they are engaged but obviously it is still chem so the subject matter can be difficult for some. The exams are fair and mostly multiple choice so it is easy to do well if you study.
