You buy his book and he goes over it in class. All his tests are online, super easy! And you can take them an unlimited number of times until you are satisfied with your grade! Sarcastic jerk though, but it makes the class fun, cool guy.

He is very clear about what is expected of you. He knows his subject matter but there is a lot of info. to cover in World Rel. & Holocaust classes. He likes class participation and has a sense of humor. Grading is fair. Good notes are essential. All in all, a really nice guy.

He is nice!!! easy to get a A unless you have to spend a lot of time on the test!!! ( Rel 2300 is webct, u can do the tests many time, PHI 2010, u have to prepare a A-4 notes card for the tests)

He is the easiest professor I have ever had, easy A......str8 up. All test are done online and there are unlimited attempts. Check online randomly to see when the test are due because he doesn't teel you. He is cool..........

Fantatsic professor, he has the best grading/learning system I have ever seen, by letting you take the exams as many times as you wish, he knows you will learn and be more critical of the information through this testing process. He rocks!

THE TESTS ARE NOT EASY, YOU "REALLY" HAVE TO READ THE BOOK (EXPENSIVE BOOK FOR BEING JUST COPIES THOUGH!)BUT YOU HAVE THE CHANCE TO REPEAT THEM AS MANNY TIMES AS YOU NEED. THE TEACHER IS VERY, VERY NICE, HE KNOWS A LOT AND HE IS VERY FUNNY!!

I can't beleive someone can not like him. You anonimus stranger I wish you 100x worst professors in your life (see comment below). This is one of the sweetest and intelligent professor you can find. He knows his topics back and forth. He is superb. I took him 2x and will 1x more. He is excellent. Guys don't listen to bad critics. He is great!

If you don't pass this class than its your fault because his class is test base and you can take his test until you are happy with your grade.( Let me just say that all of his tests are online and its open book)

You want to pass? Go to class, read the chapters, and take the online OPEN BOOK tests! Hello? Any easier than that? You obviously have to read BEFORE you take the test. Just in case you don't do well on the test, you can retake it until you do get the grade you want, the grades average out at the end. I recommend him!

Godby is cool as sh--! No need to take notes, because he lectures out of his self written text. The tests are open text, but I recommend you read and pay attention in class prior to taking them online. Attendance IS important and don't be late!

Wonderful cool dude. Funny and interesting. Best teacher at BCC, you will enjoy his class. Tests are all on line and easy if you read the material. How could you not get an A? You must take this class for PHI 2010 and religion.

great guy and fun class, but the tests online did hurt me because i didnt read ahead of time. just do that and you will be fine. he plays alot of movies.

this man is a trip he shows a lot of movies and he is fun. you only have to do the open book testat your own time and pace as many times as you. all you have to do is read this books and if you feel like, look at the slides on his website. EXCELLENT TEACHER i am going to take him again for ethic

if you going to take phi2010 you have to take this teacher. Is an easy "A" open book test cannot get any easier than that.

He is an excellent teacher and although some students don't understand his methods he makes sure you know the information. You can do well in this class by consistently doing the work. He's a good teacher and nice.

in this class you really need to read the chapters before you take the test and pay attention in class. if you do that then you should pass with no less than a "B" he also gives a good chunk of extra credit so you should pass the class.Now,as for his teaching some say his wack others think he's funny i know that you will get annoyed at least once

If you follow his syllabus, you'll be alright. He's fair and his material is clear and that's all that matters.

I can say that this class is pretty easy. You do need to read the chapters but it is easy like other students have said you get to take the test "unlimited"times until the closing date of the test. Read the syallbus. Make sure you do the discussion postings. Now, as to writing credit it was hard for me but he was there to help me out.

Very cool teacher! He's laid back, gives you plenty of food for thought. THe class itself is interesting but he takes it a step further. We watch some good movies, and the presentation we have to do isn't bad at all. However watch out for his test, if you want an A you HAVE to read BOTH books. Other then that I totally recomend this class!

I took almost all the classes he offered. After leaving I've been thru my 4 yrs of college and then some, but to date Godby is one of THE best professor's I've ever had. There is no comparison, he is smart, kind, interesting and very well versed in his subjects. If you work & respect him he's the best teacher anyone can ask for.

I took his world religion class online. I really learned alot and the tests were not bad at all!! Take him and read the chapter and you will get an A

Only take this class if you have time. I thought this class would be easier than my Gov't class at the time, but I found myself spending a lot of time reading all his material, I got an A but with a lot of reading-be prepared. Got kinda frustrated on tests since you would get the right answer but still get it wrong for some reason. Good luck!

This had to be one of my MOST favorite professors at BC. His class is fascinating and it made me want to attend his lectures. Tests are VERY simple and the grading is beyond fair. I recommend everyone to take a class with him. He is funny, clear and to the point. Over 90% of the students got an A. GREAT PROFESSOR!!!

I took Professor Godby online and received a b. You need the book as there are specific quotes and questions on the test. A LOT OF READING!!! The only good thing is he allows you to retake the test but it's an average of all of your retakes. You have to buy the book somewhere else and you cant resell it as it changes every semester.

Took him online .Easy class never read the book just skimmed it and used internet to find most of my answers but you do need the book and try not to get anything lower than a B on his exams.

I took this class online it was very easy you will need to read the book and the PowerPoint slice but this class its easy go head and do it you will learn a lot

I took this course online during the Summer and got an 'A'. I am the exact opposite of religious, so the textbook being clearly opinionated didn't bother me much. The quiz grades are based on an average of unlimited attempts; Google is your best friend if you're feeling lazy, however, reading the text makes earning an 'A' practically effortless.

Took him ONLINE. He is basically an easy A IF you read the book and participate in conversations. The whole class consists of timed tests once a week and a discussion question once in a blue moon. He is very intelligent and helpful, and tests are easy IFFFFFFF you read and take some notes on the book.

Took his online class. He is very smart and helpful. Class is easy if you make lots of notes with the page number so u can take the test with the book. He lets you retake the test as many times as you want but the question do change. 5 discussions as well. Easy class but you NEED to read. I recommend taking this class and would take it again!

I basically read the chapter and took the test right after (about 2-3 hrs per week max study/test taking/posting time. The text is not easy to follow (no glossary or index).

Overall easy class. 5 Disqussions and basically a timed quiz every week. You can retake the quizas manytimes until you reach an A. At theend of the semester he lets you make up or get a chance to raise your grade. So in the end your basically the one deciding your grade.Does require reading but i found it very interesting.Got a B in the end :)

You need to read the entire book, possibly highlight (I didn't but that would've made things easier). I don't think it was mentioned that the final test grades are AVERAGES of your scores, so best to get it right the first try! You do get plenty of opportunities to get an A, including an easy syllabus test for about 5%! Great professor and easy A!!

I took this class on line. I tell you this, there is a lot of reading. You are allowed the take all test as many times as you want, but for each one, when you take it more, you have to average that grade (for one test, total the points /'ed by how many times you retake). AGAIN, you have to read, but I really liked this class. Do your discussions.

I took Prof Godby for World Religion online and it was one of the most interesting classes I have taken. There is a lot of reading but exams are right from the text and powerpoints. You MUST read...

All questions from quizzes and tests are straight out of the book. Very easy class as long as you do the discussions and just search and find the answers in the book. Recommend him for an easy class.

Interesting class to take. You have to read the textbook in order to pass the quizzes. He responds a lot to your posts to the discussion questions. He challenges u a lot. An Easy A!

Super easy. Take tests and do discussion questions. The tests require you to read and the reading per week is a bit much but other than that I have no complaints. Everything is very straight forward.

You MUST read the text book to pass this class. I took this class as an accelerated online class. There were about 11 tests and 5 discussions. They were easy 20 question tests. But again, READ the book. The book is not the best quality but easy to read. I really learned a lot in this class and enjoyed it very much. No complains about Prof Godby.

If you taking this class you must have lots of free time to read, he has a lot of typos on the quizzes that he requires us to take. You MUST READ EACH SELECTION, i suggest take notes that they only way to pass . I Received a B in the class but was aiming for a A.

The key to passing this class is reading. Dont pay attention to the negative rates. He's very open in allowing you to come to his office if you need help. He'll point you in the right direction. Rarely had class though, it was more online then ever maybe about 5 classes in 16 weeks. however i been to his office for test help many of times.

He is always willing to help and his lectures are interesting, he is always a little bit opinionated. All I can say if you take this class you have to get the book, that's the only way you're going to pass. It's basically an online class because all of the work is on there.

I enjoy this class, the work was easy and he doesn't take attendance so it doesn't matter if you show up or not. Most of the work is online anyway but I would take his class again. I learned a lot.

He seems mean but he is just trying to scare students. He grades super easy if you just follow instructions. He shows very good films in class.

Professor Godby is a good professor.I took the express class. His lectures are interesting. We watched some films that were great and interesting. There is a lot of Pearson homework and there are a couple of essays you have to do. His class isn't super hard, you just have to keep up with the work. His test submissions are unlimited which is great.

easy A or B depending. you dont need to attend everything is online. lectures are nice and kinda dramatic but overall he is cool. theres movies you watch too. i honestly could of took this in a shorter term but its easy overall

I stopped showing up for the last 2/3 months of the semester and still passed. Everything is online so just do your work on time and you'll pass. There are three chapters and each one consists of the online work, quiz, and essay.

Professor Godby is a good teacher. He made is classes interesting. You do have to read the material and there are essays. But Mr Godby is fair and if you do the work he will give you a good grade.
