Really nice guy, eager to help students learn and understand the material.
Awesome instructor! I wish I learned as much from my other instructors as I do him!
Awesome professor.I wish I could have him for all science classes.Relates study to real life experience.#1.
One of the best teachers I have ever had. I learned more in his class than in any other class. He is eager to students to understand the subject and makes it very interesting.
execellent instructor teaches great is very clear so it irritates him when you aask dumb questions. Would recommend him to everyone
Fantastic professor, made a difficult subject much easier to understand by using real life examples. His sense of humor also helped lighten the subject. Would highly recommend him for any science subject.
He is an excellent professor. His class is hard, but he does an awesome job at presenting the information and is more than willing to help students when they need it. I highly recommend him for any science courses.
I had always hated science until I had Kash for this course. He made it interesting, fun to learn, and comprehensible. The material is very deep. I spent 8-10 hours a week studying, and made 98% in this course. You can't just cram the night before, but he makes it as easy on you as possible.
Highly educated, down to earth, i would take any class he teaches, becaues i know i he is one of the best teachers i have every met.
Very knowledgable! Objectives are clear and easy to understand. Would definitely recommend. Best instructor I have ever had!
He knows his stuff. His style of teaching took some time to get used to but I did and learned a lot from him. This course material is very hard but Prof Kash broke it down and tried to make it as simple as possible.
Very good professor. He teaches to where you understand the material. I wouldn't recommend taking him at night, because he breaks the units down to where you WILL have a test after every chapter, which in turn means that theres a test EVERY WEEK! But if you study, you will pass his class. Plus he gives bonuses on lab&lec tests! Take him in the day!
Kash is a great instructor. As noted before, the material is very deep. However,if you study a lot you will do well in his class. Knows his stuff really well. Learned a lot in his class, compared to other professors I have had. Would not recommend any other than Kash.
Good Teacher.
WISH I HAD HIM FOR ALL MY SCIENCES, VERY GOOD AT TEACHING TO THE MASSES. MAKES A DRY SUBJECT AS FUN AS POSSIBLE AND THE BREAKING UP OF UNITS IS ALLOT EASIER THAN 2 UNITS PER TEST THATS TWICE THE INFO TO ABSORBE. ALSO NO ESSAYS THATS ALWAYS GOOD WHEN YOUR DEALING WITH THE THICK STUFF. TAKE HIM AND YOU WILL BE DOWN 1 LESS SCIENCE REQUIREMENT.
absolutely brilliant man. Loved the class he made it easy to understand.

I had no problems with this professor. He isnt easy, but very helpful. His notes and outlines are what is on the test if you study them. I am highly impressed with his class and like the fact that he knows what he is talking about. Yes, he does get upset if people leave the room alot, but what prof doesnt?
He is a great professor. He knows his material well and explains what is expected of you at the begining of the semester. His notes are very clear and his tests are over material he has covered for the unit. If he taught another science I needed, I would be first in line to enroll in the course. Thanks for a great semester!!!
AWESOME TEACHER, what more can I say
A&P I This is a tough class but Steve makes it as easy as possible. He is a very experienced professor and it shows. There were no pop quizzes, though threatened. Terrific professor, hard class, tons to learn, but Steve makes it manageable.
Steve is awesome! I wish he taught Micro of Inf. Disease. He really knows how to teach and do it well. He is very helpful, too. Anytime I needed to get extra help, he was there. And, I think he is very personable anyway. I highly recommend him!
not good to study him
FANTASTIC PROFESSOR! His objectives are extremely clear and we know exactly what is expected of us from day one,no surprises! I wish I could have him for all of my science courses. He knows his stuff!!If you devote plenty of study time to the material he gives you, you will do well. Very knowledgeable!
There is a ton of information to learn and his tests a bit unpredictable so its hard to know what to study. He gives you a week to take tests in the testing center. You have to study A LOT to do well in this class. You can buy older editions of the textbook or lab book. Don't ask questions during class, just see him in his office hours.
he is good, but can be tricky and moves like the speed of light at times. i have learned a lot
Awesome professor!!! Very helpful and understanding. A lot of memorization in this class, but he helps you out a lot. I've had a solid A in his class the whole time.
An awesome professor! I took him for a&p2 in the summer. It was a lot of material to cover and a lot of memorization, very hard. But, he makes it doable. I took him for a&p1 also. I love the way he tests. Be prepared to learn a lot.
cool guy, but you would have no idea what to expect on his exams. gives 50 question exams off of tons tons of info from notes.
Took him for A&P I and will take him for A&P II. He tries to take a normally painful subject and anesthetize it and pretty much succeeds. Highly recommend!
Best professor ive ever had! API and II are definently not easy classes but kash explains things very well and puts hard concepts in lame-mans terms so they are easily understood. also he is very helpful outside of class and will answer any question and help you out with studying ideas if you need to raise your grade. (though most people do well)
he is the reason for me understanding everything in nursing school! best proff ive ever had!
He's not very halepful and talks likea robot. He will take his time with units and in the end shove 3 to 4 units in you and expect you to text on everyone of them prior to the 2wks left in a semester. I was a B student, tookhis class..now I'm an F student. HE GIVES NO TEST REVIEWS !!!!!!!!!!!
this man will give you a good grade if you suck up to him. inconsistent with his offerings of extra credit (as in... he doesn't offer it to everyone?). speaks monotone, and is slightly condescending.
Best Prof I have had! Had Steve for A&P 1&2. He gives an amazing lecture! Take the notes he puts on the board-very helpful. Funny, Helpful, Caring, Genuine person! I really came away from this class with knowledge! Great guy!
Cool, cool, cool! This guy is awesome! He makes lextures fun with silly jokes, you have to pay attention cause he doesn't laugh at his own jokes, he just tells tham and if you pay attention u'll get the punch line. Apart from an interesting lecture, very informative, clear and interesting. This guy rules! I highly recommend him. He's nice and
He was helpfull and always alowed you time to make up if you missed his class. I would like to have him as a teacher again if I could.
Mixed feelings about Mr. Kash.I think he teaches this subject the best and that is what is important. I did well in his class and he always helped me when I needed it. Be prepared he is quick to assume people are texting or checking email in class and he will not be nice even if he is wrong. Take Kash before you take Dr. H.
If you want to learn, take this professor. He repeats himself a lot, so that you can understand the material.Be sure to take ALL notes that he writes on the board. His class is not easy, and be preprared to study.ALOT!
if ya take kash, then prepare to kiss your social life goodbye. his tests aren't hard but it's completely random. out of the 8 pages of notes that he gives you to study, 3/4 of it will not even be on the test but you still have to study everything cuz ya won't know what would be on it. oh and it's all free response, no multiple choice or matching.
Love you Steve, the best teacher, and i appreciate the way you love to (do what you love) and that is Teach.
This was a difficult class. His tests are very random and very difficult to study for. He does know his stuff though. I would not recommend this class if you want to have the time to learn the topic.
This is a hard subject but he is a good teacher. Take notes, if he writes it on the board, write it down! His tests are directly out of his lecture, either the info he writes on the board or the outline he lectures from. Lecture tests are multiple choice and matching, lab tests are write in. About 1/2 the class dropped. Be prepared to work hard.
He treats all of his students like they are going to medical school, which most of us aren't. He is extremely unapproacable. His tests are random and short answer from ALOT of pages of notes. The two who have As in the class don't work or have any other classes. Came into the class LOVING physiology.. left HATING IT. Made me doubt myself. Stressing
great professor, i learned a lot from this man, thanks
Great Teacher if you're there to learn and not goof off. Extremely helpful & available for extra help. Had him for A&P 1 and 2, aced both classes! Highly recommended!
Good professor, i recommend him highly! He makes sure you know the stuff but gets frustrated when people are just ignorant. If you are looking for a professor that u will learn from- this is the guy. Another good thing about him is that he doesnt get too personal and have favorites- everyone is equal.
I loved this class. It is difficult and you definitely have to study but it is worth it. I learned a lot from this course and feel like it really prepared me for nursing school. Lots of tests but material is straight out of class notes and what he discussed in class. Must go to class to get a good grade. Would take Prof Kash again in a hearbeat
Be prepared to study and spend a lot of time on this class. Kash is really helpfull as long as you act like you want to be there and care about what you are doing. Try to sit in the front of his class. An A or a B is obtainable just be ready to do the work.
Excellent teacher! Had him for A&P1&2, you will learn the material if you pay attention! Had very high grades in his class, but had to work hard! Having him helped me a TON in nursing school, definite advantage over other students! PS don't sleep in class, consume glucose b4 tests, GO TO CLASS-always! Dry and very funny sense of humor. END GAME!
Knows his stuff. Lectures can be laborious, but there is a LOT of information to be covered in Physiology so there is a lot of work required outside of class. An A is definitely possible if you put the time and effort into the class. Not a class for slackers. A little taste of Med School. GREAT class. P.S. You can make an A while working.
I had kash for both A&P I and II. He is very good at what he does and knows his material very very well. He seems to be very unbiased towards students (considering i missed class a couple times for work and he never acted indifferent)He connects mmaterial to real life situations, and explains well. Make sure to copy anything on the board.
He is a great Prof.....very knowledgeable and dependable, very helpfull
His class isn't easy, but I learned more than I could have ever imagined. He explains the material so well and relates it to your level. He really cares about his students and will always answer any questions. Grades were posted online the same day as the exams. I wish I had taken him for A&P1. Don't slack and you'll be fine.
Best AmpI&II proff at OCCC. I took Choate in AMP1 and got a C. I took Kash in AMPII and got A. Taking Choate is suicide and you better run. AMP is a tough course that you have to do your part and study, but Choate wakes up every day to make it even more difficult for you. Kash makes AMP understandable and what you learn in his class stays in you.
Professor Kash is a great Professor! He really makes you understand the A&P2 material. You must study and you will make the A and he is fair on his exams. He makes you really think ouside the box which will help you a great deal in professional school. WARNING-YOU MUST BE PREPARED TO STUDY OR YOU WILL NOT LIKE THIS CLASS, IF NOT DONT TAKE HIM!
EXCELLENT PROFESSOR!! I am currently studying for the PCAT. and so much stuff I have learned in Kash's class has already come up as potential test questions... and I'm actually RETAINING the material! he is AMAZING. genuinely cares abt the students. very professional & very influential! i highly recommend him,but be prepared for 200 ? tests!
Human Physiology..you will learn a lot,but if youre going into a competitive field and need an A,take someone else!!I got a B and studied twice as much for it than Cadaver! He makes it way more difficult than a 2000 level course needs to be and the other professors give points away and have easier tests!his are 100 questions which are short answer.
I love love love Steve! He's the reason I have succeeded so far in nursing school. Just remember to study...a lot and you'll do fine. Its not easy but you'll know your stuff. I retained so much information. Great prof!
He's the best teacher for Anatomy and Physiology both! MY FAV!! He's sooo helpful and he knows his stuff 100%! I wouldn't take anyone but him! I wouldn't say he's easy cause you definately have to work for your grade but he teaches in a way that you will understand the material 100% clearly and you should be able to make a wonderful grade! Take him
Tough course, but Kash is very fair. If you attend lecture every time and study from his power points you will do well. He is a very helpful professor and he genuinely cares about your grade (as long as you do too!)
Teacher is super helpful, nice, but will have no mercy giving you a bad grade if that's what you earned (no EC). Course is a hard, complex course but he is able to use great analogies and storytelling to make evrything crystal clear. LARGE amount of studying per lecture/lab exams(no joke)! Could be the second hardest science class at OCCC.Just study.
This gentleman was very nice and helpful for his students in the beginning and somehow, for unknown reason, he became mean and cruel. My grade drop from "A" in the first 3 quarter to "C" in the final grade. Really unpredictable. This man can not be trust and is not dependable.
I enjoyed this class. If you show up and pay attention, you will know what to study. Sign up for the group lab, I was an independent and my lecture test were good, but I struggled with the lab exams. For sure the one you want to take!
Kash lectures with military execution, several times throughout the semester, students raised their hand to ask questions, but he ignored them. If Kash thinks you are not giving his lecture the appropriate level of attention, he makes condescending remarks and it will reflect in your grade. Mr. Kash is unprofessional; his behavior this past semes
Outstanding Professor. Really knows his material and does an excellent way of making it understandable. Wish he taught more classes I need. Would recommend him 100%
Best prof I've ever had!
Proff. Kash in very thorough and is extremely passionate about what he teaches in his classes. He wants you to succeed in his classes, if your going on to be in the medical field, especially nursing or onto medical school. He's a hard butt, but you will be glad you too him for A&P I and II. Thank you Steve for your passion of A&P.
I don't know why anyone would give Mr. Kash a low rating because he is an amazing professor, totally called teach. He is thorough and cares about his students learning. Study your notes, diagrams and what he writes on the board and you're guaranteed an A. With lab, study with the assistants atleast 2 days n you'll get an A on that too!
Mr. Kash not only teaches superb, it's the concepts that will stick in the long-run especially in professional school. Here's some tips for making an A or B in class. 1. Study atleast 3 days ahead (notes/diagrams/things on board) 2. With the lab exams, study a few days ahead except for the muscle physiology...that one study a WEEK ahead!
He is an amazing professor who cares deeply about his students. He is willing to answer any questions a student has. I never missed a class or lab and got an A. Attend class, pay attention, and write down EVERYTHING he writes on the board and you will done fine. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
IF you want any directions for dissecting fetal pig, or want to ask one question dont choose Kash.He only helps one group for the whole 3 weeks of instruction. He is very hard to approach, and if you ask a question expect to look stupid in front of the whole class. Makes you feel like you're never doing enough in his class, even if you have an A.
If you want an A&P teacher who is arrogant, talks above you, looks at you stupid when you ask questions, has favorites, little office time to talk, cares more about A&P II,will discourage you from day 1... then KASH is the BEST teacher for you! He DOES know his stuff and has workshops but his arrogant teaching style is NOT effective! Confidence KILLER!
do not late this reviews scare you.I think they are not happy cause they took summer class I just took summer class for chem and science subjects in summer are simply hard because too little time too much to study. He is best faculty for ANP in OCCC.His workshops are great. He does have less time in his office to see a student,in class the best ever
I have not had the entire semester with him yet. The lab quizzes are harder than Hirtzel's, but the tests are so easy in Kash's. Pay attention, go to class, print the slides, study from that and the voice recordings. Also he is a very caring, humble person and wants everyone to succeed. No favorites
Inspiring teacher! Understanding. Interesting. Gives good advice. He cares about the human condition. He is so caring and nice and has a heart of gold. He is fair, honest, and reasonable. You get the grade you get. Wants to hear about your future successes and get you through the tough times. **** good teacher. **** good human being.
After Kash every professor seems just not enough, he is the greatest science teacher i have ever had. Thanks to him i'm very confident about entering the nursing school..hey I have his priceless power points with the drawings, hints and explanations. His sessions are full so make sure to enroll asap.
The best professor I've had. He puts difficult material in terms that anyone can understand. Very approachable and helpful. He gets upset when people constantly walk out or text, which is understandable. During lab, he goes around and helps every single person. I love going to class and being inspired by his passion for anatomy and physiology.
Very good& outstanding when it comes to teaching. But there's other side of him pple dont knw. He's prejudice against Africans & African Americans & treats whites preferentially. I made A's in his classes but I did with a real fight.
The BEST Professor! Totally recommed him. Steve is an excellent teacher, he is caring, listens to your concerns and helps til you understand, he may seem tough and short but he is just preparing us students for the real challenge, when we are accepted into the Nursing program, there is nothing negative to say about him, he does not have favorites.
I am a black person and he is not prejudice against Africans & African Americans. He respects you and makes sure you respect him.
he is the best and he is very knowledgeable professor. i was scared of A&PI and A&PII but i ended up getting A+ thanks to him.i did a lot of studying, but i enjoyed it because professor kash makes u enjoy studying and learning. i also retain a lot from the both classes i took with him. i really wish i can have him for every class.
he is the best and he is a very knowledgeable professor. i was scared of A&PI and A&PII but i ended up getting an A+ thanks to him.i did a lot of studying, but i enjoyed it because professor kash makes u enjoy studying and learning. i also retained a lot from the both classes i took with him. i really wish i can have him for every class.
Best teacher I've ever had.
The very best Anatomy and Physiology professor at OCCC. He is extremely knowledgeable on what he is teaching. Does NOT like people who leave during lecture or come in late at all. He is absolutely NOT prejudice to anyone. Extremely helpful throughout the course. Classes fill up within a week or two once posted. Taking him for AP2!
Best professor I've EVER had. His course was by no means easy but he truly cares about you and our learning. He is ALWAYS willing to help and make sure the material is understandable. I love that he is so knowledgable and yet net treats you like your stupid. You can tell he really wants his students to succeed.
Extremely smart teacher. His lectures are hard and his test are even harder. He is always there for you. During lecture, he goes extremely fast. His test are very hard. Make sure you go over everything. There is alot to learn in little time. I was in A and P 1
Best professor I have ever had. I made a 98%. He cares about you so much. Always has the test graded same day you took it. Also class is very easy as long as you study his power points. He will answer your questions no matter how many times you ask it. OUTSTANDING PROFESSOR. Best professor at OCCC.
He wants you to succeed and does everything he can to make sure everyone can get an A. He tells you everything you need to know on the tests and lab exams. You must have a good work ethic and study several hours a day. He can't study for you. If you do the work you will get an A. Don't take anyone else. Enroll early, it was filled in hours.
Professor Kash may be a good professor, but he is not a nice person. He was very rude to my entire class and talked down to everyone. If someone asked a question he would cut them down for asking and then would get mad if no one asks any questions. If you are at lecture and lab and take notes, you should do well in the class, but he is just rude
Professor Kash is the greatest teacher ever I loved going to class to hear his lectures I learn so much in his class just make sure you attend class & print out your slides & you will do fine oh yeah he does answer questions in class you just have to speak up good luck
Great teacher, very clear and precise! But do not ask questions in class he will make you look like a idiot. Other than that if you study what he gives you, you will pass. He tells you exactly whats on the test!
Professor Kash is an excellent teacher. He gives you everything to make an easy A in his class. I love to attend his lectures he has an excellent knowledge of his subject and tells you everything to study for lecture and lab. Exams I learned a lot from this class
One of the best teachers I've ever had. Very helpful, lots of "big board" moments so be in class! He notices if you miss, and he does take attendance every class. If you study his power points well you can get a good grade on all his tests. Te comprehensive final is a walk in te park, very basic from what was learned during the semester.
mr. kash is very straight forward. you are given the outline and he gives you all the answers in power point form. the challenging thing is just making yourself study. and that... the teacher cant do for you. which is one reason im taking it again. wish me luck!
Had him for A&P 1 & 2. Don't need book, goes straight off powerpoint & lecture. Don't miss class, he has 1 big board drawing per unit that will be on exam. Not all from lecture is on PP so be there. Will call you out if you leave or he sees you on your phone or not paying attention. Very good teacher. He's the director of AP2 so he makes the tests.
Professor Kash is a great teacher, he helps explain everything very very well. And makes everything interesting. I loved having him as a teacher!
Don't take this class if you don't put in a lot of time to study, because his testes are based on every single information on his powerpoint, his power points are very helpful, and his lectures are very clear but he really does not have time to explain further, out of lecture and he can't even tell you your average.
Mr. Kash is one of the best men I have ever known. Daily he stayed at the school until way past 11:00, grading papers. He spent all the time a student needed to pass his class. He even tutored students from other classes who were having a tough time. He babysat all afternoon for one of my friends while she studied for her final. He's a prize!
I took Professor Kash for A&P 1 and he was a great teacher. He definitely knows his stuff when it comes to what he is teaching. In order to do good you do have to put time into the class, but if you do there is no reason you should leave the semester without an A or a B. I recommend to all nursing students who have to take A&P to take it with him.
Extremely helpful and knowledgeable professor. This class requires a lot of studying, but a&p in general is not the easiest class. He is definitely one of the best professors at this school and if you are taking a&p i would highly recommend taking him.
The Best Professor in the World Hands Down!!!
Prof. Kash was one of the most passionate, easy going, compassionate, and most helpful professors I have ever had at OCCC. You get what you put in, in this class.. He will take the time to explain the material to you until you understand it. He will spend time with you without rushing you out of his office appointment. He is patient and forward.
this guy is one of those teachers you will see a movie about in a couple of years. attendance is mandatory, the lectures are long but packed with information, to this day I can remember his cookbook analogy to RNA/DNA. taught me a great deal, and if you make the effort, listen and be a part of class, it will help you SO MUCH in nursing.
Good professor. A&P I requires a lot of studying and preparation especially for the lab exams. His lecture tests are fairly easy (multiple choice & matching) if you have done the studying. He grades fairly and explains things in analogies that everyone can understand. He does not like it when a student leaves class and will point you out.
Very solid Prof. and definitely cares about his students However, you will work for your A! (although I certainly hope any future medical professional would want a course that expected their best)!
I couldn't ask for better (especially in comparison to Choate...), he is very direct on his criteria for exams. Gives long tests; however, he tests you over ALL of the material and is superb in getting down to student level and explaining hard material. My only complaint would be that he likes to disappear during labs to talk with his colleagues.
He was a very knowledgeable professor. The material isn't easy at all! You have to come to lecture if you want to pass.
Professor Kash is amazing. You will have to put in the work in order to get an A but you will take away so much from this class! I had him for A&P I and II, and he is very clear on what is on his test because everything comes directly from his powerpoints. Just be prepared to STUDY STUDY STUDY!!!!
Professor Kash is an amazing professor. He will definitely help you understand Anatomy and Physiology if you come to class and pay attention to his lectures. I walked out of that class with a lot of knowledge and I really appreciated him for that. If you want an A in this class then come to class, listen and take notes! He's great!
Study his PowerPoints and you will do great in this course. Learned alot
keep calm study and never scared of what he scares you. Very long test than other class. Need hard work! Lab of powerpoint is a little bit disorganized
Excellent professor!! Print out the powerpoint and know EVERY single thing on them. Tests are over power points and things he writes on the board, so be in class!!! Do not need book, I only use it for reference. He is great at "dumbing things down" so it is easier to understand. Tests are very long, but that way you can miss more & keep good grades
Maybe the best prof of AP but his assistant is so cocky and nonchalant to Black Student and sometimes teaches the wrong things to students. Beware!
Lecture is taught well on class. The lab does not have much help, esp from his assistant who is cocky and racism toward people with color. Sometimes so simple but she explained it difficult to understand. With international students, she intentionally talked too fast. I'd rather get help from bio lab during lab session. Good prof but worst assistant
Loved him! If you are a nursing major, he applies a lo of stuff clinically which is super helpful!
He knows his stuff.. You MUST study and go to class!!!
The best Professor ever. He gives you the material you need but lectures in a way that helps you understand at your level. Doesn't expect you to know everything & will take time to explain. Very intimidating but don't let it get to you. He really cares about his students and will push you! Make sure you're in class!!! Super important.
Professor Kash is amazing at explaining the building blocks on AnP He cares that you succeed but makes sure you know its your show. He give the tools to you and will not babysit you. He breaks everything down but always is honest. He "wont blow sunshine up your sleeve" and makes you understand he is not playing around.
Taking his class looks like buying a lottery ticket. you study on your own! No help! Could be kicked out during evening office hour due to some technical issues, his goofy meeting! Work hard for lab would have a good result but not with lecture. Congratulation, you're riding a roller coaster when you enrolled his class.
He knows his stuff, he can be nice and occasionally helpful but most of the time he's kind of arrogant and talks down to the class. A lot of times he's zipping through the material and talking at you not to you. To be successful you have to go to lectures, the labs are useless and lab tests are difficult. Study slides, don't bother getting the book
Not a good professor like expectation. Racism attitude toward international students. Students are not treated the same in his class. Expressing attitude that don't like you to watch the test by telling you to get out of his office even though you come to his office on time. Test 100+ question in 2-hour
Assistant of his taught wrong concepts when students report to him. He didn't believe them. He stands at his assistant's side. What kind of prof like that?
Work on your own to make grade. Make you look stupid when asking question. His assistant is always a problems. Not helpful. Sometimes teach wrong. Both of them are so nonchalant. No sorry if office hour is not available.
He is the best prof I have EVER had. Period. If you pay attention and actually try you will be able to get an A. I was able to get 100 on his exams because he does such a great job outlining what material is on the exam. If you respect him for his effort to make you succeed he will respect you.
Great professor and great assistant. His assistant breaks everything down and take his time to let you know how to study and prepare and remember class material. I am international student and I was always respected by both professor and his assistant. You should be respectful to them too and ready to put efforts.
The best professor ever and got lot of help from his assistant. I am minority student and got lot of respect for me and took lot of assistant's time to learn the material and Az the test. The rules are rules and nor the professor or assistant can let that go for sure. They both were respectful and helpful.
Professor is very educated in anatomy and physiology. He explains everything flat out in the beginning of the semester. For instance, no extra credit and how much you will have to study. His powerpoints are exactly what will be on exams. However, he can be a bit arrogant and rude which made it hard for me to ask questions or even want to answer.
He requires you attend classes and very clear on what to expect in both the lab and lecture exams. You can survive his class if you learn. Very approachable during office hours and should he have extra credit for attending seminars kindly do your best to attend them, it would help your grade at the end of the semester. All the best.
I highly recommend Pro. Kash, but beware that this is a tough class and he is a tough teacher. He pushes you to do well and ask questions if you need help. There is no homework, only lecture and lab tests. He prepares you well for both, but you will spend a TON of time studying. He does offer extra credit! Don't waste your money on the textbook!
Prof Kash was a great teacher, but not very nice. Students were afraid to asks questions because he would either belittle your question or give a rude response. He grades so quick which is nice and has very clear lectures. I will take him for A&P 2 but ignore his comments. Stand up for yourself if needed. You pay to get all the answers you need
Out of all the profs for A&P take Kash! The class is not easy &requires time &effort but an A is possible with him! I finished with an 88 in A&P 1 and 2. :/ he will not round u up even if you are an 89.9! he is not super friendly but gives you everything you need to do well. also his finals are the easist out of all his tests! very basic questions
Professor Kash is a wonderful professor. He puts together great power points for every chapter and makes them available to print off. Attendance is absolutely mandatory for lecture and lab. Book was used occasionally, but his power points are key. He's also on the board of nursing, so he relates majority of the stuff for nursing students.
Mr. Kash is a wonderful teacher. He really knows his stuff and will explain things very thoroughly. He is very tough. Get ready to study! His lecture and lab power points give you everything you need to know for the exams. Put in the effort and study hard and you will do just fine. I would highly recommend him to anyone taking A&PI and A&PII.
I had Kash this summer and he's an awesome professor. He's strict on grading, but it's only for the best for preparing to you. I wish I would've taken him for A&P 1. He knows his stuff and his analogies are great. He made my summer experience great and I do not regret it!
Kash is known to be hard but a subject this important shouldn't be light, he has his quarks and can be a bit snobby but this man know what he is talking about and forces you to learn. TAKE HIM IF YOU ARE GOING TO PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL, you want to be prepared and he will do that! Highly recommend, his classes fill up quick!
Pro Kash is an awesome professor! I had him for A&P1 also an took him for A&P2 because I enjoyed his classes so much. No homework, your grades comes from lab and lecture exams. He has many seminars you can attend for extra credit. He truly cares about his students and wants them to do well. He is alwasy happy to talk with and help you! Awesome guy!
Im about halfway in with Kash. I had taken this course with another professor and dropped because he was awful. As long as you listen in class and follow the PowerPoints, you are going to pass and the lecture tests will be a breeze. He also providws PowerPoints for lab, as well. You have chances to earn extra credit Hes intimidating, but great!
Professor Kash is the best professor I have ever had. He tells you up front what is expected and he expects you to show up for class.
Took Professor Kash in spring of 2018, he test are multiple choice, and based on his power points. Also check your moodle frequently, because he adds PowerPoints always at last minute to assist in lab and test. All test are taken in the classroom.
I took Kash for AP2 in Spring 2018. If you study the PowerPoint and pay attention during lecture you will pass his exams easy. Getting ahold of him outside of class was a hassle and whenever questions were asked he would be very hateful and condescending towards the person who asked. Decent teacher but not deserving of the high rating he has.
Prof. Kash is like out of this world. His lectures are just amazing, he explains everything so well with clear examples. All the lecture exams are MCQS and expect to see 100-200 questions on each lecture exam. Lab is easy if you spend enough time on it. If you care to study + go to class regularly then this class should't be a big hassle for you.
Tough class, but he knows his stuff and teaches it well, which can also cause him to sound rude. He doesnt like to repeat himself. Doesnt appreciate you skipping class. He genuinely cares about his students and their future in professional school. Long lecture exams but tests are not tricky. Lab exams are fill in the blank. All in all, good prof.
Kash was a solid choice for A&P 1. He is intimidating but a good professor. he is very clear during lecture. you must go to lecture in order to pass. he will not be happy if you skip. his board work helps explain everything. he also offers extra credit seminars. def recommend out of all the options for A&P 1 especially if you are nursing/heath.
Prof. Kash wants all of his students to pass; that being said, make sure to attend every lecture/lab. Recording his lectures is encouraged and helpful because he will occasionally talk about something that will be on the exam and not in the power points. No reason someone shouldn't succeed. He gives you all the tools you need to do well.
Kash is a wonderful professor. He can kind of be on the abrasive side when asking questions but most of his lectures leave no room for questions. 10/10 would recommend this professor to anyone taking A&P in the future
He is an acquired taste, but the analogies and numerous examples are so helpful. He is genuinely passionate about his students doing well, but only if you put in the effort.
solid choice for ap 1 and 2 considering the other options. if you know the powerpoints you'll be fine. the final in both classes are very easy, very basic questions. dont let him scare you about the final. if you stay for lab and ask questions he'll like you. but beware he is intimidating, especially during lecture!
I believe homework is a strong study key, and a good grade boost when exams arent your strong suite. However, there is no such thing as homework in this class. Nor is there a helpful professor to talk to you about your grade, or what you can do to be better. I have busted my butt in his class ): Have to be an A+ tester.
First, he does NOT give homework. He cares more about his pass average than the students themselves, and he will tell you that! He loves to throw in material (AP2 stuff) that he will tell you will NOT be on the exam, but he wants you to know it anyways. He is not approachable, expects students to excel for his sake, and not a professor I recommend.
Professor Kash is one of my favorite science professors hands down. He can come off rude/blunt sometimes, but he is always willing to answer any questions that you have. He is very knowledgeable and teaches in a way that allows you to retain the information. Study EVERYTHING he tells you and you will do just fine.
Professor Kash is wonderful to learn from! You have to pay attention in lecture and lab 100%. He provides slides for each unit, but also does work on the board to help explain everything so you understand better. He can be intimidating but if you put in the work and ask for help when needed, you will have no issues. Ignore the negative reviews!
This professor is really hard, you really have to study if you can not put the time into this class I would not take this class. Kash is a tough professor, mean, rude. he complains a lot when you are not paying attention or on your phone, also say stuff, you will not pass if you do not pay attention, say you're making his rating go down.
Kash is one of the best professors I've ever had. His class is not difficult but you do have to apply yourself and listen to his lectures because he will tell you what to study specifically for your tests. His personality can be a lot to take in at time but its from a good place. He wants to see you succeed.
I took ap1 and ap2 Got A Just go to class and study his PowerPoint, you will get A Test are easier, and he makes class interesting, And the stuff he teaches are really helpful in the future too.
Great guy.. hard class but if you apply yourself you will pass. I am an A but i also have a job and other responsibilities so this class has been the hardest class I have ever taken.
Professor Kash is overall a great professor. Hes a professor that wants you to succeed. The class is difficult but its supposed to be. He provides everything you need to be successful. If you study enough then you can get an A easily. Also go to his office and ask him questions! Hes very helpful and likes to see that you care about the class.
He is such an amazing professor! The key to getting an A is coming to class, study his powerpoints EVERY DAY and take advantage of the extra credit points you get from going to the seminars throughout the semester! BEWARE HIS EXAMS CONSIST OF 200 QUESTIONS SO BE MENTALLY PREPARE TO DEDICATE SOME TIME TO STUDYING!!!
Professor Kash has perfected the art of teaching. He knows exactly how to teach that you are able to retain the information long term. Now in nursing, I am able to replay his reenactments in my head to help me understand how certain organs work. His explanation of the Electron transport chain has stuck with me. I still have all his ppt. TAKE HIM!
Kash is an excellent, but rough professor. From my 8 Week A&P it's clear you must attend lectures and then you must study the lecture power points and game shows which should get you a good grade. The lab exams, you'll want to visit the A&P center. *slaps projector screen*. His 200 question lecture exams are undemanding and forgiving.
Beware of 200 qestion test! I hear alot of nursing students like this guy but if your major isnt nursing. RUN!
Kash makes lectures very interesting to where you are able to remember the material, long tests with 150-200 questions. He takes his classes seriously and lets you know that too, I love his teaching style. Highly recommend Kash if you want to understand and be successful in anatomy and physiology 1
First off... Memorization! Not just the main things but hes very detailed. Test are 200 + questions but he does offer extras credit!
Kash provides very interesting lectures and explains things in a way you will remember. The tests were difficult but forgiving as they were so long. He is understanding and cares if you understand the material. The class is hard, but Kash makes in interesting. I worked harder for a good grade in this class than any other ever, but it can be done.
Kash is by far the BEST professor I have ever had. He has such a great way of breaking down each unit, he literally will tell you exactly what you need to know for the exams & he grades/responds SO fast. I took this class in my first semester of nursing school and it wasn't bad. He WILL make you earn your grade! Attendance is mandatory.
Professor Kash is AMAZING! I had him for A&P 1&2, and it was the best decision I made. He can be a little intimidating at first, but it gets better I promise! His lecture tests are pretty long but multiple-choice and matching. Voice record his lectures! With a lot of hard work, I made an A in both classes and learned so much. He is a GREAT teacher!
I had him for A&P II during the pandemic so the class got moved online. I felt like I just got thrown out to fend for myself. he did not do any lectures or give any feedback on his test. unfortunately, I did not have him for any in-class lectures so I can't say whether not this was circumstantial or not. The test was really in-depth.
Love professor Kash. It's a difficult subject and he comes off as harsh and no nonsense at first but if he sees you putting in the effort he takes you seriously. He knows the content like the back of his hand. If I could take him for every class I would.
I had Professor Kash for A&P I online, and it was definitely one of the hardest classes I've taken. However, Professor Kash gives you a bunch of different materials to make sure you understand the material. He's lenient on his test grades, and I only had 50 question tests, so I guess that has been a thing that has changed for him. I Recommend!
While attendance is necessarily mandatory, there is extra credit at the end of the class that could make or break your grade. I never touched the textbook or lab manual. He gives you the resources to help you pass. He cares about the students and is passive aggressive when people aren't paying attention in class. Overall, I would recommend.
Doesnt give any lecture videos. Does give Learning objective which take all day to do, and has nothing to do with the lectures. The class is hard online, I recommend that it is taken in person
Professor Kash was a not a good professor. While he did give a lot of information that was to the subject, he never explained it well. He gives a few pointers as to what is on his test, but it usually does not help. He give learning objectives during his notes, but they only make up 20% of his test. Your grade is based on test. Never take KASH
Very test heavy. No extra grade or final grade round up at all. Would not recommend if trying to get an A. 11 test in 8 weeks. 1000 questions to prepare for. Unless you average out 90% of the test points, you won't get an A.
Great professor! If you want to do well in the class, study the PowerPoints, the game show quizzes and ask him questions. Not many people in my section asked
AVOID this professor. I was in his 8week A&P class. He rushes through the power points without opportunity for class discussion and then mainly focuses what he'll test you on. I was really looking forward to this subject but was very disappointed at the end. Wishing I had seen his reviews sooner.
Professor Kash is amazing. He is willing to help you if you are willing to put in the work.
This is the hardest and most stressful class I have taken. 11 exams and 5 quizzes in 8 weeks it's insane. 12 hours in person class per week. I would spend hours studying for the lab exam and still got low grades. Several people with low scores on exams. No extra credit at all allowed. The lab exams were the worst.
