cool guy. no homework, 4 exams(including the final) uses power point to give you the notes. Interesting and explains everything very good. I enjoyed his class.

Great Professor...I thought I was going to fail his class, but I end up with a B. There are only four exam and we take a lot of notes from power point. He also lets us know what will be on the test before taking it. The class is actually kind of interesting too.

I've taken his lecture class as well, and his class is very easy. All u need 2 do is study. He always make sure that u understand the material. In exams, he is the only teacher I know that procters the class, and makes sure that you are not copying from the person next 2 you.

Mr. Katnik is an excellent teacher. I am one of those annoying science freaks who ask a lot of questions. Mr.Katnik always took the time out to answer my questions with great detail. He is very knowledgable of the material and he has a excellent sense of humor. I took Keller before and I have to say, Mr. Katnik puts him to same. Great instructor!!

Prof. Katnik is a very easy going teacher, his class was very easy. Show up to class do your labs and listen to his lectures you will definately pass the class. He's not a boring teacher.

Hands down one of the best teachers on campus. He is very intelligent and has a great sense of humor. The only drawback is sometimes his lectures can get a little boring, however he will usually make some funny and random comment that will catch your attention again! must attend class because he does presentations, shows videos and assigns group work, and took attendance for about the first month. dont need book, just take good notes in class. assigns two projects which are due the day of final. all exams are multiple choice and is pretty much what is in notes or in text.

VERY GOOD & COOL TEACHER! Keeps Biology interesting and fun. Infact, I hated Biology, but now its not that bad. Students should attend his test and finals reviews to achive a passing grade becasue his reviews are almost identical. 2 projects are due the same day of the final.

You can get away from not having a book as long as you come to class. The class is very easy just show up for his reviews and study and you'll pass.

He has so much experience in his field and can tell good stories. Yet his lectures can be long. He dose not give homework and attendance isn't mandatory, but some days he gives extra credit for attending class. The test aren't that hard and project not difficult at all to complete.

I took Mr. Katnik for both his lecture and lab. He is one of the most insightful professors to have. The tests were straight forward, for the most part, since he gives you a study guide and even goes over what the test covers. As far as lab goes, you complete the packet in groups throughout the course of the semester.

Took him for BIO 120 and his class was not tough at all. Basically note taking for the majority of the course from his well explained power points. Studying for multiple choice exams is all you need to pass this class and also offers extra credit for the final exams. Overall a great chill professor!
