Sooooo Great!!!! Wish he was teaching all my classes. He's very knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful. Tests are really straight forward, but you better study hard!

fun teacher, doesnt get boring that often. However, he has a thing for the ladies, which may cause him to grade differntly. Even so, if u study hard and review notes, youll be fine.

Mr. Leonelli is the coolest professor on campus.He is very caring towards his stundents and wants everyone to succeed.

Mr. Leonelli is awesome. He explains very well and makes class interesting. I don't agree with people saying he has a thing for the ladies. He is just a nice guy who takes interest in everyones story like you are important to him.

Great Teacher! You have to study and its alot of info. But if you study you do well. He gives you the lecture notes, just memorize them. He's super nice too. Go to open-labs for the lab-test and bring your camera.

Test are hard and grades hard too but labs are fun if you know what your doing.. Test are 70+ qouesstions and 1 essay part so study hard!!

Great teacher, I hated Bio before, but Leonelli made me love it. Word of advice, in the genetics unit, make the test a PRIORITY and the DNA report secondary bc he's a tough grader on the report.

He's a sweet teacher. Tests r hard but he explains everything.

Took the class over the summer... was alot of crap that I didn't want to know about, but he related it to common stuff, was willing to explain EVERYTHING, and was an awesome teacher! I'd recommend him to everyone!

wow. this was the 2nd class of all the classes I took for 2 years, that made me study for tests. you have to basically memorize his handouts which are about 2 pages long in the font I"m writing for each of his tests and you'll do very well. if you are not the memorizing type than I seriously do not recommend this class becuz u can't getaway w/o stu

As a person, he is great. His class, however, is hard. When it comes to lab test you need to remember EVERYTHING if not, he will deduct points for misspelled words.. LIKE IM EVER GOING TO NEED TO WRITE DOWN ONE OF THOSE WORDS-- EVER!

he is really good he knows what he is talking about and teaches it with a sence of humor. however is not an easy course u do have to attend class and pay attention.

I took this class my second semester of college and at the time I was a Biology major. I loved the course material, and the teacher just makes it that more interesting. All of those people that cry about this being a hard class, well of course it is, it wouldn't be worth your while and brain if it was not; if you are a serious science major TAKE IT

He's an awesome professor. Very Interesting. The class was not hard. He explains everything very well. He knows his stuff. I don't know about the bad comments. He doesn't hate guys. To tell you the truth, he's the professor you'd want to chill with. You can tell him everything. He's laid back. He's funny. He's a surfer too.

I loved Leonelli, he was very clear and helful. We always reveiwed material before quizzes and tests..i really enjoyed his class, he makes it really fun..take him...and yes i am a girl and i enjoyed it and i never noticed any biases at all!!

He is a very nice teacher...hard as hell...but nice. You really have to study for his exams and pay attention in class...missing his class isn't such a good idea. Overall, he is interesting to listen to and makes it fun when possible!

Really cool professor. Teaches bio with enthusiasm and thus makes the subject fun. You have to pay attention and study hard to do well but he really teaches in a very clear manner.

Professor Leonelli is one of my favorite teachers! He explains things with great detail and makes learning fun and exciting. He gives out lecture notes before every test. Study the lecture notes and you will do fine! Lab tests are pretty simple if you go to the open labs and prepare before each exam. I managed to get an A, so can you!! TAke him!

He is an amazing professor. He knows what he's talking about, and makes it fun. He's quite a character :] He doesn't favor girls, but just flirts a bit. He's very straight forward about grading, and is = to all. TAKE HIM, you'll have to study a lot, but he's hilarious and ALWAYS willing to help.

Mr. L is the greatest. He makes the subject fun and relates it to the class. The class was hard, but i sucked it up and studied hard, and i dont regret any of it. Yes, i am a girl but he's not bias at all. I had to work very HARD to pass his class. And from what i observed, majority of the males thought he was pretty cool. JUST STUDY HARD!!!

Mr. Leonelli is a very nice and Hot Teacher. This class is difficult but he makes it very interesting. He knows what he is talking about, I struggled in this class, could have been much better if I had a good balance, must study hard to pass, DO NOT miss any classes and you should do fine. Lab Test is pretty easy and helps a lot with the grades.

Best Biology teacher I ever had! Don't bother taking Bio unless you can get into Leonelli's class.

This teacher knows how to teach, but is extremely hard in labs, so its better to take a camera with u. and in the Dna journal... it would be a waste of time to put all of ur time in that instead study for the exam that will given becuz hes a hard grader in essays. But he gives you a lot of chances for example a field trip worth 3% at the very end :

He's one of the funnest teachers I've ever had at Elco! He's extremely helpful and willing to listen to all of your questions. THIS IS NOT AN EASY A CLASS! I took this class during the summer, and I literally studied everyday. Remember to BRING YOUR CAMERA TO LABS! It definitely helps a lot.

This teacher is the greatest! By far my favorite Science teacher EVER! You have to come to class for the lab or else you won't be able to make up the quizes but the labs are always fun and pretty short. He is really helpful if you ask and explains everything well in class. Take this class if you need a Lab Science!!!

Leonelli is a difficult teacher, however his handouts are extremely helpful and all his lecture tests are based on his handouts. The lab tests are difficult only if you don't go to class on lab days and if you don't bring a camera. He puts most of the stuff you do in the lab on a website which helps you study for the test.

most of the students who take his class are science majors and its not going to get any easier if you decide to go into med school or w/e. i think his class is pretty easy as long as you put the time into it. although his lecture tests are very tricky, he grades fairly. he actually wants you to learn the material rather than regurgitate it back.

He is st8forward, therefore what u hear in lecture and lab will be on the test. However, keep in mind that there is a lot of information to learn and his questions can be tricky. He's also an animated lecturer which kept me engaged.

LEONELLI IS THE BEST. IF YOU PAY ATTENTION AND PARTICIPATE YOU WILL DO GREAT.

First, dont ever think getting easy A on this subject. Trying is the first step towards failure. Does not believe in grade curbs, even though thats how it is at universities. Trys to make fun of and discourage anyone who wants to make more than a professors salary. Hates people who want to become doctors and pharmacists.

I had him last semester and I loved him. He is a really chill guy. It is not an easy class at all and you can't miss a single day of lecture but you learn a lot. Lots of memorization and time commitment but if you want a teacher who is full of personality and makes even botany exciting then he's your guy! I got an A, just work hard and you'll be fine.

Professor Leonelli is awesome! He's a great teacher, take his class, you'll have fun! His tests are a fair bit difficult but don't be discouraged as his course outlines are basically mapping out a course to an A grade. Oh be careful with spelling during lab exams, you get points off for that! =)

Leonelli is a fantastic teacher! He is super friendly and always wants to help out. If you are having a down day he will always put a smile on your face. He is funny and sarcastic, his lectures are fun to listen to. The labs are relaxing and laid back. Definitely take this class!

Mr Leonelli is a great teacher. If you attend all the lectures you will pass the test without studying much. I did not even unwrap my text book. He is makes his lectures interesting.

All you need to do is memorize his team site documents word by word and the vocabs in lab exam. If you are good at it, and have a biology background, you can get an A. Highly recommended.

Exams are hard if u procrastinate. Study his team doc. as u go,lots of material to memorize! He tells u EXACTLY what to know/study for so essay is easy if u practice beforehand. Organized, straightforward, point system, tries not to make lecture boring. If ur good at memorization & don't procrastinate, class will be easy. Don't be late!

Can you brute force memorize and can you write essays wellI? if Not DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. I enjoyed the class and the professor. He was always available for office hours, willing to answer any question no matter how stupid, very patient with students. The lecture tests were just insane. Memorize everything spell everything correctly. good luck

I took him for Bio101 and it was hell, but for Bio102 the class is easier yet you still need to work your ass off to maintain a B. Thats right getting an A in his class is nearly impossible. The research paper is by far the hardest assignment since he grades really hard and no one got an A. Don't take too many classes if you want to take Bio102.

Great professor. He is very clear on what he expects from you, BUT you must work hard to get an A (it is possible) or maintain a solid B. He offers a 20 point ExCr opportunity for both courses! Really helps your grade. DON'T need the book. His documents are the framework of the course. Helpful in office hours and gives you coffee :) NO CURVE

Class was not as hard as I expected. To do well, memorize team site docs! Nearly all lecture exam ?'s are based off this info. If you are good at memorizing word for word & have a good understanding of bio, then take him. Grades research paper tough, but still possible to get A. Most labs done in groups and are laid back; straightforward lab exams.

Chill professor but expects good students that attend class and do lab questions ahead. We didn't do a lab report this semester, no EC. Lab exams are straight forward, he tells you exactly what you need to know. Memorize lecture notes word-for-word to score A's. Practice potential essay questions and you'll get an A. 5 credit class hard work.
