Best math teacher in the whole school, and I've gone through 5 of them :)

He is a easy, great and funny Professor. As long as you pay attention in class and do the HW and study. He explain every problem clearly.

Explains everything very well, extremely patient with knuckleheaded students. The BEST math professor at KCC, don't waste your time wtih anyone else. "Cute" and funny.

I've never had a math teacher teach this well before. I can't even imagine how it could be taught any better. The notes he gives are incredibley organized and self explanitory. He doesn't collect or check homework and he gives a review sheet before every test. Can't go wrong with him. Take Him.

Before taking Math 9, I had heard so many horror stories about it, and frankly, I was scared to take it, because you know, you have to pass the exit exam to pass the class. You need to get a 25, and above, well guess what? Professor Majewicz made it fun, easy, and passable. I recommend him.

The best professor of Math I've ever known. I've always hated Math, but with this professor i totally lost my fears. Do the hw's and you'll be fine. Come to class and you'll have fun. 100% recommended

This is a really hard subject, but like everyone else says he is a nice teacher and does a good job. If you actually do the homework (which he doesn't check) you won't fail any tests. He grades pretty fairly, but don't expect an easy A, because he has no qualms about failing anyone.

His style of teaching is only for those that are serious college students. If you are like me and you need to be treated like a baby then his class is not for you. However, if you are going to work hard by studying and doing homework than you could not ask for a better professor for this subject. His notes are thorough and very easy to follow.

The most interesting professor in college! Makes the math clear and interesting! Do your homework, do reviews and take notes in class! He's very helpful! This is the best math professor I had so far. He gives a bunch of notes which might get abit unclear at first, but he is very clear. He knows what he is doing

Very funny. Tells a lot of jokes but at the same time teaches well. You must know the Math on high level to succeed in his class. He can to comprimises when he sees that you are trying to do the best. Very organized and knows what he does. One hour passes like one minute when you are in his class. I enjoyed to be in his presence.

The best math teacher I have ever had he makes classes very easy even for people who don't know alot about math U just gotta be on time in his class. He is not strickt about attendance or latenesses but try to be on time beacause you will miss the whole point of it any way he is one of the best proffessors of The CUNY and KBCC

He is an excellent prof. He always draws a lot of nice graphs on blackboard. And he gives the very useful notes in class. If you do the homework and study for review sheets, you will get the higher score in his class. Furthermore, he is a very friendly gentleman. He likes to help us in the class and after the class. Trust me, he is the best prof.

This guy is very friendly, and no one gets bored in his class. He is a good professor, and a tough grader.

well the prof. is kool, nice person, i dont know about hot, he is funny though... i did not expect alot from the class but he really explained really well the topics. when he drinks too much coffe his jokes start getting mess up.

His math skills are unbelievable & his class room ethics are straight forward. If u do the homework which he don't check u will definitely get an A. The exams r exactly what you did all semester and the quizzes are are a gift. Study the quiz and you got an A. If you never took algebra b4 u will do great in this class. (he wrote the math book)

Prof. Majewicz is a genius when it comes to math. If you are ready to learn Math, you should take this dude becos he will take the time and effort to make sure that you understand the material. He also wrote the text book that is been used to teach math 9, that shows that he really knows his material.

This class is definitely NOT boring.Awesome teacher. He knows what he is doing and always is willing to answer your questions.

He teaches very good, even the stupidest person could understand him. He explains everything and tries to cover all the material. He likes to joke around, talk about food and his book. But when it comes to tests and grading, he's strict. It's not very easy to get an A.

He is very good teacher. But I saw so much students drop and failed from his exams. It was the first time to fail getting As on mathematic subjects.

he is a great teacher he jokes alot and makes even difficult math concepts easy for a math reject like me to understand. his tests are pretty hard but you'll be well prepared. hes laid back bt grades hards so be careful, oh and also make sure you buy his text book or you'll never hear the end of it.

He explains well, classes are not boring, funny and entertaining.BUT! that deceives your awareness about him.. He takes a lot of points on tests. You will be left with what you've get. To score A--it is not easy in his class. No extra points, no curving grades.

Great professor, explains math from the very basics. I have a learning disability and he was one of the first professors that I could sit through the whole class with. If you do your homework everyday you are pretty much guaranteed an A.

Very Nice guy, Jokes a lot that makes class bit relaxing. a lot of notes in the class, and Tests are preatty hard but if you study, you'll do fine!

Great teaching skills and doesn't check homework but assigns it. not a very easy grade but for sure worth taking him again.

He's REALLY GOOD & sarcastic in a nice way. Gives notes from the ground up. U don't need yr/ his txt bk for class, b-coz he pretty much says it verbatim in class. Though h/w isn't checked, math is about practice! So, it's in your best interest to do it. Same thing for the review sheet--do it! There's usually an extra-credit in his tests too. Enjoy!

Amazing professor!!! intersting classes, writes everything on the board.... AMAZING IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE!!! I recommend him to everyone and everyone.

Best Math Prof. Ive ever had! Makes math easy for anyone. Explains everything so well. Funny& sarcastic. Made math enjoyable. Doesnt check HW but math is about practice so do it. 3 tests, 3 quizzes & a final. Gives partial credit. Review sheets for every test. TAKE HIM. You wont wont regret it and you'll actually learn and understand the subject!

This professor is amazing! I would like you to ask yourself this, what teacher gives you clear directions that include notes on how to solve each problem? I think no one here at Kingsborough! I've taken this class 2 and he is by far, the most clear and thorough that I've encountered!!! Oh and did I mention, he is funny :) You will enjoy his class!!

He explains everything step-by-step. Wrote the book, very funny, nice guy. You must do every homework, because without practice it is not possible to pass. He can only help so much, the rest is up to you. Reviews are very similar to exams but you have to do homework!

One of the best professors I have ever had in college. Funny, friendly and wants to make sure you do good. He knows his stuff and explains everything in detail. Easy A if you do good on tests and make an apperance. I recommend to all who are considering to take algebra or pre-calc.

Steve is by far the funniest teacher I've ever had in KBCC. I like his class he's an excellent math teacher. You Must Do The Work if you want a good grade. He explains everything and if you need help he will help you. Overall I like his class and his story's are funny and they don't get in the way of his teaching if your serious about learning

Prof. Majewicz Is if not the Best Professor in Kingsborough, than the best Math Prof. there. Unfortunatley, I failed his class twice, but that is just me & math. He explains in perfect detail, the tests are on the same level as the assigned work, he will help you personaly, hes a great guy, & you will love the class

he is a nice but i personally don't think he is good at teaching all he does is repeating the whole lesson that is on the book all u do is writing lesson's everyday with one example then u find urself going in the mathworkshop for help i am a person who does all my homework. he also have favorites. his joke are not funny

Best teacher ever for math. He explains math in a way you retain it and like he says Math is practice practice practice. So if you do your homework and review sheets you will be fine. He answers questions never has an attitude and strikes your interest. Highly recommend!!

Great teacher, he has a galant to teach any math, has good sense of humor, do not buy his book, just follow his notes, he gave grate notes, I just study them and get easy A, loved to come to his classes, start to love math because of him, tutoring on F208 very helpful

Great Professor. He answers all your questions, just don't ask questions that he haven't teach yet because he will be teaching it next. He's funny and helpful. Textbook was used for homework but he doesn't check it. Do it as practice. 3 in-class exams and one final. 4 take home quizes and he gives review sheet for every test. You will learn alot

Amazing professor. I had him at 8AM but still came in everyday - he is so funny and cheery. Be careful though, he gives really easy HW + tests but then on the final (which isnt written by him) the questions are 300x harder so watch out. Study.

GREAT PROFESSOR! I like him. I took MAT2 as a summer Immersion Program. I pass exam with grade of "S" , which is higher you can get=100. He answered all my question if I didn't understand smth. He is cool and funny! Want to take him for MAT9

the best math professor ever. i took his class for linear algebra he was very helpfull, all you have to do is pay attention in the class, do his homework and review and you will pass it with an A. i took him again for discrete math and he is the best. i wish all the professors will be like him. i highly recommend him to everyone.

Absolutely the best math teacher you can take. EXTREMELY clear and hilarious lectures. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND. he does give non graded homework which is good because its great practice and similar questions appear on tests! great professor

He is an awesome professor when it comes to teaching mathematics I learned a lot in his Discrete Structures class He teaches the material very well ,and he is more then willing to go over whatever you do not understand As long as you show up to class,pay attention,and study the review sheets and class notes,you'll have no problems passing

Very nice professor. Makes the class to be active by cheering up with some jokes. He will provide you homework problems that will be listed on the syllabus. Frankly, you don't have to do them if you pay attention in class, and understand everything.

Ok professor steve is the best professor ever . In the beginning i thought he was gonna be so tough and hard grader especially for me that i am international student . But he deff motivates you and gives you extra credit problems . If you dont skip classes the class is gonna seem so easy every lesson is connected to the previous one He is the best

Excellent professor, explains until you understand, he provides homework for every lesson. DO THEM, THEY HELP. He will remind you to do them as well. Keeps class happy and light. Gives extra credit. Grades fairly. I recommend him any day, if you want to learn math clearly.

Best Professor at Kingsborough!! I hated math until I took Prof. Steve Majewicz class. If you struggle with math this is the professor to get you back on track. you won't regret it and he's full of jokes so class was never boring.

My Favorite Math Professor. This guy is hilarious had me laughing all semester but hes fair and you will learn in his class. I would definitely recommend him.

Steve is a really nice guy. Makes the class fun and creates a comfortable environment. He really explains math perfectly. He breaks it down for people that arent math experts. I took his class during the summer so he was a little fast pace but still did an amazing job. If you take him during the fall or winter thats the perfect time.

I can say without a doubt that this teacher is one of the best I had throughout my development as a student. He genuinely cares about his students, maintains the environment flow with his jokes. Homework is for you to practice and he does not check it. Exams are exactly what he teaches you. He loves black coffee, no milk, no sugar. ;)

I took two classes with him this semester. These are Linear Algebra and Discrete Structures. I like the way he teaches. Everything is clear and well organized. I took linear algebra before with another professor (I dropped that class) and can say that Professor Majewich is much better at explaining this material.

Stephen is a good insctructor. Do your work and get a good grade. Her assigment are very detailed.Not very hard class if you pay attention and do all the work ontime

I've never been good at math that's first off. Most professors bored me in their math lectures. BUT WOW IS THIS PROFESSOR DIFFERENT. First off he doesn't care about homework, he expects you to do studying for yourself. He has 4 exams and lowest score is dropped and then a final. He loves his coffee and is funny af. Will be taking him for cs3500

This professor was amazing, I cannot thank him enough for all the help he provided me. I took his College Algebra class in 6 weeks, it was definitely a challenge being that I have difficulties learning by myself and it was a lot of info in such a short term, but he was always there to answer my questions and helped me as much as he could. Best prof

One of the best math professors I've had, he always makes lectures entertaining and funny. Tests aren't that hard you just have to memorize equations and formulas

This guy is great, he's very funny and he clearly loves what he does. He posts class notes and exam reviews online. He gives out 4 exams, he doesn't drop exams anymore (as of Fall 24) so that's a bummer. He gives out homework, but they're just for practice. Beware of Linear Transformations and Exam #3. Make sure you really pay attention there.

Professor Majewich has a unique style, but if you engage with it, the class works well. The lectures are clear, and the textbook is useful. Stay focused, and use resources like unstuckstudy for study prep - it really helps. Overall, a challenging but rewarding course.

Be ready for tests

He explains everything clearly, just listen and you'll understand. No assignments, just 4 exams and a final. If you focus on the reviews and memorize what he covers, you'll do well on tests. He's fun. Highly recommend if you're willing to study.

Took him for CS35 and MAT56 He is a funny professor and will tell you what will be on the tests with reviews and practice tests that will prepare for it. He has notes for all the material so definitely look through all of them and do the HW for practice (HW isn't graded). Ask him questions about the material - he loves teaching about it!!! :)

He looks like Conquest from Invincible season 3, but he is no villain. He is the one who will roast you for no reason. I like him cause he is very chilled and explains material so well that I don't even need to go to class notes to recall something. I felt sad saying goodbye to him after final exam. I genuinely enjoyed his class.
