The homework for this class is pretty time consuming for the first chapter or so, but gradually becomes less so. Would take again

Class is tough but he's very accessible and always helped me with any questions I had. This lectures are also fairly entertaining including his odd sense of humor. Overall great class

Worst "professors" I've had. He has hardly answered a single question all semester, he just says "oh we'll get to that in 2 weeks" and just acts like its unbelievable that we don't already know the content that he is "teaching". He just sits at the board and writes theorems for an hour. You have to teach yourself through homeworks due every day.

I recommend taking this course from a different professor if you have to take MATH 213. I didn't enjoy lectures and honestly didn't get much out of them. He rudely responds to students if they asked a question that he believes we should fully understand or if they asked him to repeat anything. I got through it but wished I had a different professor

Linear Algebra is a beautiful subject but take it from someone else! You'll end up teaching yourself the entire curriculum. He is very rude and snarky when you ask questions. He only focuses on theory and writes proofs on the board, without helping students develop a conceptual understanding.

I agree with everyone else on here about him being snarky. Beware-- never ask a question. Proofs and no slides, just rambling on the whiteboard for an hour, with no examples. The tests are mostly on the theorems, I spent most the time outside of class teaching myself and trying to learn them. Still did poorly on the tests. Take from someone else.

One time he assigned 2 problems on the homework then changed the google sheets to 4 problems, so if you already did it (which half the class did) you got a 50% on it, with a follow up email about how he is not changing the scores and we need to pull it up on our computers? (not the problem...) Highly encourage taking this from someone else

Ya this guy was not my favorite. No slides, just lectured and wrote illegibly on the board, made you feel like a dingus when you asked a question. 90% of what I learned in this class was done outside of class. At times it felt Nearly impossible for me to get an A even when I put in the work.
