Great teacher! great guy. He is very nice and he is very helpful. His class is very easy and he is a very light grader. I suggest taking him because he will help you out your first year.

Excellent guy. There is homework before every class, but it is generally very brief. Quizzes and tests are easy if you pay attention. Professor Miller is very helpful and actually cares about his students. If you put in the work, you'll do fine. Overall a very good first year class, I would highly recommend.

Mr. Miller is engaging and funny, held discussions in each class which he used to compile questions for his "tests", which weren't hard at all. The answers were provided on a study guide beforehand. Show up to class, and complete your portion of a small group project and you'll get an A. He doesn't want to fail anyone, but you still have to work.

Just a great down to earth guy to have as a professor in a class that prepares you for the road ahead in college. His classes are not mandatory, but his lectures are fun, informative, and interesting! He strives for student success and shows it. No tests, mandatory reading and gives mid and final questions beforehand, which are the same as the exam

Professor Miller is one of my favorite professors. He is down to earth, and will work with you in every possible way to make sure you pass and do well in the course. The work load is extremely small and very practical. If you have to take this class, I would recommend Professor Miller every single time.

Great teacher, I never go to his class and as long as you do the work he assigns based off of the syllabus, you should do well. He assigns projects every now and then but they're simple. He likes to talk about his family and how he's a writer and his book is alright, but not very interesting what so ever. Great guy though.

The best professor I have had here at Kennesaw State. He is such a nice, understanding guy. Unlike other professors, he wants you to feel like you and him are equals and at the same level. Does not want to give off an intimidating professor vibe. You will have homework after every class, but it is not hard. He really wants his students to succeed.

He's so understanding, and he knows we all have at least 4-5 classes so he makes his class as easy as possible--he just wants you to learn something! 100% recommend him. Made an 8am worth it.

Steve is an amazing professor. He really loves his job and cares about his students. The class is very easy but he tries to make it enjoyable. I highly recommend this class. As long as you show up and do your daily wisdom its an easy A. the final and midterm are extremely easy but go to the review because he practically gives you the answers.

He does his best to make the material interesting and offers a ton of extra credit! Attendance isn't mandatory, but honestly I liked going. Easy class!

He is a gem of KSU! Asks you to call him "Steve," and is more of a caring life coach than a professor. Genuinely cares about the well-being of students, and will check-up on you regularly. Realized I don't HAVE to go to class, but I go every week because of what I get out of it. Everyone has to take a seminar SO TAKE HIS.

He was a really great professor! We had to read a goof bit but what we read was super interesting. Most of our classes were just discussion based. He was very efficient at always answering emails and giving feedback when needed. Neither the midterm or final were too hard. I learned a lot from him; would definitely recommend!

He is a philosopher and storyteller first and a teacher second so prepare to hear a lot of relevant stories. Workloadlight but beneficial. Everything has a reason.

You have to take one of these classes, make sure you take Mr. Millers. He makes you buy one 20 dollar text book, and the rest he gives to you cause he wrote the other text books. He really just wants you to think about your future. I struggled with work and school, and at the end of the semester he gave me 2 full letter grades worth of xtra credit.

Dr. Miller is the bomb! He is super nice and knows a lot about religious studies and makes it interesting. There is homework due before every class but at most takes an hour. There is only a paper, midterm and final so it is very easy to pass.

Seriously one of the best professors I have ever had!! He is so lenient and understanding. He gives very clear study guides for his tests to where it's literally impossible to NOT get an A. My only complaint would be that all he really talked about was Christianity and philosophy when I thought I was going to be learning about different religions.

One of the best teachers for KSU seminar. He assigns homework daily, but it's nothing you can not handle because it only requires you to read a couple pages a day, and then write insights on the text. Class is really enjoyable because he tries to get students to discuss problems you may have in college or in life. Then he will help you solve them.

Steve Miller is one of the best professors Ive ever had. He allows opportunity to add 10 extra credit points to your final grade and makes a genuine effort to personally know each one of his students through specific feedback and encouragement. He is understanding and gives studyguides that outline the entire exam to make sure youre prepared.

Steve was great at getting us engaged in discussions in class an applying what we have learned about critical thinking! All of his subjects were very exciting and interesting. He also has a great sense of humor. He is a very warm, approachable, flexible, understanding, professor and it is clear he is very invested in our success. BEST PROF. EVER!

Best professor I have had at KSU! Genuinely cares about his students and wants them to succeed, not just in this class but throughout college. Short responses to reading due every Tuesday and Thursday. 2 tests the entire semester, midterm and final. Gives you plenty of chances to make an A in the class.

Highly recommend him. He does talk a lot but is a good person ! He cares and will work with you. Daily writing assignments, easy projects, easy mid term and final. Show up, he gives you answers to midterm and final in class!!!

First of all, if you think that this class is difficult, then you are not going to pass any of your other classes at KSU. While I found this class to be very easy, it was also super informational and I learned a lot. I chose this as a free elective and I would choose it again without a doubt. Really really good, caring professor. It was an online course so there was a lot of discussions and writing assignments, but only one paper that's kinda optional and a couple of easy tests/quizzes. He's a really fast responder to his emails and lenient on grading. Overall a good professor and an easy class!

Take this professor. He is the most caring teacher I have ever come across. He emails feedback about every assignment and also emails back very fast if you have questions. There is one assignment due every Saturday and a discussion post every once in awhile that are based off previous assignments. Two tests and he provides study guides. The best!

Easy class with a great professor! Have weekly widsom assignments and an optional paper with extra credit obtions! I never felt like I was wasting my time with "busy work." This course was also extremely flexible as it allowed me to work around my other classes and work schedule. 100% recommend taking this course!

He is the absolute best! Take him if you can! He cares way more about you actually learning than about you getting a grade. The class was set up so the majority of your grade is candid weekly reflections based on the reading. There's 2 tests, a paper, and some weekly discussions. He also offers extra credit.

We were graded on daily assignemtns, a midterm, a final, and a research paper. Dr. Miller was a very reasonable grader, and he let students turn assignments in late for full credit. I would highly recommend taking him in any course given the opportunity.

My favorite professor I've ever taken. He is extremely kind and cares about all of his students. He gives a lot of homework but as long as you complete it you'll do well. He gives extra credit opportunity and is understanding and lets you turn in hw late if you need to.

In simple words, take this class with Prof Miller. He truly cares about you and your well being versus his assignments getting turn in on time or whatnot. There is extra credit and he allows you to redo assignments. He always responds to emails. There is a lot of reading, but it is a college class - so compared to others, the workload is enough.

Prof. Miller is so understanding of his students, do not take advantage of this man! There is a lot of reading, which was expected. Textbook is required, I found it online for free.
