Before I took this class I was very interested in Econ and excited to take this class. I had difficulty swallowing the lectures due to anti-liberal remarks. Econ should be unbiased. My dislike for these comments caused dislike for the class. If your even middle of the road...you might be occationally offended.

I had fun in his class bc he was into econ. But i spoke with other people from other schools to compare contents that were taught and i feel a bit robbed. He also uses his OWN book (which is like scribble on blank paper) and sells it for $80 and you cannot resell bc he only teaches once/yr. Butter him up by praising his PhD

Rappaport is, by far, the worst professor at De Anza! Although I am a conservative who believes in Austrian economics--just like Rappaport--I still think his teaching is absolutely awful. He is arrogant and immature. He is very unclear and a hard grader. Most of his students dreaded his class. His class was a nightmare. Take ANY PROF besides him!!!

This guy is one of the worst professors I've ever had. He's boring, his tests are extremely hard, and he thinks he can teach. We had like a D- average on our first two midterms for our class. Avoid this guy.

If u're the total A.D.D type, don't take this class. This man is smart as hell. He remembers statistics from 100s of yrs ago. He explains his lectures well & gives good exmp.s. But it's easy 2 get lost a bit b/c he can easily go off tangent & 4rm there branch off in2 ANOTHER tangent. Tests R hard tho. Grades on curve. So i managed a C instead of F

This guy give no assignments, no homework, no nothing! Your grade comes from your scores on 4 tests he gives through the quarter. His test are extremely hard and no matter what only 3 people will get an A...tops!!! I got an A once and missed an A other times by 1point!!! I killed myself studying and ended up with a B other all, and this is way above average!! Don't take this teacher!!

Heyhey, you know all those bad ratings you're reading under me? Take 'em all with a grain of salt. He's not a bad professor. In fact, I think he's a pretty good professor. He loves microeconomics and gives you real life examples of how the subject has been applied in the past. If you've already taken microecon in high school, take him.
