You need to buy a QT clicker and show up everyday to class for attendance and participation points. Points are easy, assignments are easy, quizzes aren't bad. The class gets pretty boring and repetitive over time but it's easy. Protip: Don't buy the textbook, just keep reusing the 2-week access code he gives you in the beginning.

Riczo is a really nice professor. He's knowledgeable and gives plenty of chances. If you can pay attention, you'll get an A. Really nice guy, wish more professors were like him.

Exploring Business is the very easy with Riczo so long as you show up. The majority of the points are from in class quizzes and video questions. The only thing I have against him is you have to make sure your grade is correct in the class. For whatever reason he struggles to put your correct grade into Blackboard.

Great professor. I had him for exploring business and he was very energetic and fun to listen to. He's an energetic guy with good business knowledge. He also does a good job of making everyone feel involved. The workload is minor and it is very easy to get an A. I would definitely recommend him.

He really knows what he's talking about since he has had so much experience in his life with business and entrepreneurship. He liked to tell stories about his business life. The only downside is that his lectures are kind of boring sometimes and he would begin to lose the students focus. But he is an overall great teacher.

I had Professor Riczo for Exploring Business. Overall he's a good professor, his class can be a bit boring though considering it's all lecture and power points. You'll need a laptop and a QT clicker for answering poll questions and also be ready to meet and discuss things with the people in your class.

Must go to class to get daily points! Do not skip and miss out on stupid points. Must buy a clicker or you will literally fail. You get about 8 clicker points per class. Also, 2 point video quizzes after every video he plays (easy points). Password protected so must go to class to get the password, if not, you miss out on the points.

All u need is a clicker and to show up to class to pass this class! so easy and hes so nice. All quizzes are mostly true and false questions. I never studied for them and never got below a B. Final is online with your book!

You are graded on attendance by answering questions about videos in class and polls on a clicker. this makes up a lot of your grade so go to class!! his quizzes are pretty easy as long as you look over his power points. he is pretty funny and definitely cares about his students education

This class is very easy if you do the homework on time. It requires an online version of the textbook. Attendance is not mandatory but it involves a clicker which will give you participation points. He offers a lot of bonus points as well! Great professor and person.

I absolutely loved having Professor Riczo for Exploring Business. This is saying a lot, because my class was 7:45 am. He always kept lectures interesting and to the point. Very experienced in his field and respectful to others. He is very fair and gives extra credit for any technological issues in the beginning of the course.

Took his Business Leadership course and it was great. He developed a great relationship with everyone in the class and tests were rare but easy. You also develop a leadership plan. Every class has interesting discussions. Go to class, attendance is taken and it's a smaller class so it is noticeable if someone is missing. Very intelligent guy!

This guy is awesome! I took his online class, and he makes the material so easy. One discussion a week + 2 responses. You write 4 papers, but they are easy 2 page papers. I was late for an assignment, and he was cool with me turning it in late. I enjoyed his class.

Dr Riczo is very experienced, and is patient in answering questions. He encourages participation, and prioritizes the systematicity of his courses. Pop quizzes from time to time keeps us on our toes, but his method of teaching makes it so simple to understand that the exams should not be a problem at all.

He is such a good professor, I changed my major 3 days before school started to General Business, he really made me feel like I made the right decision. Easy A for sure! Unfortunately you need to buy the book to get the access code, but honestly I plan on keeping the book for my career in the future. It will be a good reference to look back on!

He is always super happy and energetic and willing to help you. Gives lots of extra credit points and lets you redo quizzes and videos if you have a legitimate reason as to why you missed. Overall, fun class.

Absolute best professor at Kent State. Every single lecture is so engaging for every student. Attending every class is important as there are in class points every day. Online textbook that you get points for every chapter completed. In class online quizzes over the online textbook(25Qs). Mostly easy questions. Tons of extra credit will be given.

Loved you could strategically skip, in the type of person that learns better on my own time. You had a set schedule (quiz every other week) with a few variations here and there, but all of it (including the variations) are on the syllabus. Negative: You lose points for not being in class, also he tends to give copy and paste email responses.

Riczo has very fun and interesting lectures. The only class I ever looked forward to going to, and I was very sad to end his class last semester (last class he was the funniest). Very caring guy, really wants his students to enjoy themselves and learn. Keep track of HW and make sure you finish on time, I would've had an A if I managed time better.

Steve Riczo is one of the best professors I've had at Kent State. He is experienced, caring, and he gives good lectures. If you go to class, the business lab, and you do the homework every week, which only takes 15 minutes, there's no reason you shouldn't get a good grade. Couldn't recommend a professor more!

Steve Riczo will probably go down as one of the best professors I'll have during my college experience. The way he makes the course will allow you to get a B AT WORST if you don't do any of the readings. The lectures in class give you a majority of the information you need to know for the quizzes. He's a very nice guy too!

Riczo has been my favorite professor at Kent. He lectures are very interesting and I like his examples. His instructions were crystal clear. you have to show up if you want a good grade. You can still pass if you don't but it wont help your GPA. A very good man.

You do use the book, but you don't need the actual text. You just need the online access code and you will be able to read and take the quizzes. Plus, I think it might be cheaper.

Sadly you have to buy a clicker for like $60. You watch videos and answer clicker Q's every day for points. Also, there is an E-book that you have weekly HW from. You get 100% on HW as long as you do it on time. Reading the book thoroughly isn't necessary to pass. Also, no real need to take notes in the lectures. Fun class and he makes it fun!

Steve's class was honestly easy. Showing up to the class was definitely how to pass, but he made the class easy to follow. He genuinely cared about his students and how they performed in class. He gave short, easy quizzes every lecture so there were so many point opportunities.

He is a great professor! The class is lecture based, but it is very interactive. Although attendance is not taken, points are given out every class through questions and situations on the clickers. If you miss class, you are guaranteed to miss points. Overall, the class is easy if you do the work and also very beneficial.

At first, I wasn't that big a fan of Steve, but then I got to know who he was and I warmed up to him. Participation is a big part of this class, if you skip, you'll miss out on a lot of points. He sneaks in extra credit into your grade which was a fun surprise. The lab seemed a little bit pointless but other than that, solid class.

Super Easy A, just do the assignments on time. There are discussion boards every week, quick and easy. 4 papers, 2 pages each, you get to chose your topic. He emails a LOT to remind you of assignments that are due. Quizzes are super easy, I listened to the lectured power points and copied them down into one note, used ctrl F, found everything.

Professor Riczo is very friendly and really wants the best for his students. You do have to participate to get points, but if you do, it's an easy A!

I was a freshman when I took this class. I was TERRIFIED, and he made it much better. He made the class so fun and made college not so scary. I lived for his class, and the laughs we had. I would recommend taking ANYTHING with him. He is amazing.

Steve was a pretty decent professor. You are forced to do the textbook review questions that take a bit of time but help you understand the material. His lectures were pretty pointless but he has required participation points. Overall the class was pretty easy, just do the homework and you will be fine.

He's a great professor who gave us 30 bonus points for no reason. His lectures are given in a weird video format, I couldn't access them, but I ended with an A. The homework assignments start to get repetitive on week 6, especially if you've had him before. If you know you will have him again save your work!

He follows typical business style rules in the classroom which makes sense but if you ever have to miss a class then good luck getting excused because it just wont happen.

He was a good teacher with enthusiasm. There are around 5-10 quizzes per class on short videos we watch. Tests in class every two weeks but they are relatively easy. He gives a lot of extra credit. Just read over the textbook, listen to lectures, and complete all your work and you will get above a B.

I had him for Exploring Business in the Fall 2021 semester. Overall he was a great professor that seemed to really love what he was teaching the class. To get an A in the class, all you have to do is pay attention to the lectures so you can pass the quizzes every two weeks, and then make sure to read the new chapter in the textbook every week.

Mr. Riczo was a Really Cool Professor and the class wasn't difficult as long as you put the effort in. He gave us around 50 Bonus Points in the semester which was nice. Discussion Boards, Video Questions and Reading was the Weekly. Quizzes were MC and T/F, I would totally recommend him and I was glad to have him as my first business prof!

MGMT 24163. Professor Riczo has the 5 week summer course model perfected with this class. Most of the work was done in the book program but he is continuously in contact through email updates. All the quizzes and tests were mostly t/f and easy, just watch out for trick questions.

Not a fan of the lectures, but it is overall an easy class. Each week you are required to complete a "reading" and answer some questions which takes roughly an hour, but as long as you finish the assignment you will get 100%. Also, he gives tests every other week, but they are somewhat easy if you pay attention.

Professor Riczo was a bit boring at times during his lectures but he would try to put some jokes in to make it more entertaining. You'll need to buy like a $12 subscription for polling questions. A LOT OF POINTS in the grade book. LOTS of extra credit, wouldn't probably have gotten an A if it wasn't for that. Just pay attention, and you'll be fine.

He's a good professor, clearly cares about his students. He can be a bit old fashioned, and I don't love his policy against computers in class when I have to pull out a laptop every ten minutes for his quizzes, but he teaches well and does what he can to make sure everyone does well, an helps out if people are struggling.

Riczo's class is a heavy course load class. Several assignments per week, and if you miss one class it will put you back/your grade will drop. He is very nice and his lectures are interesting. I would take a class with him again. Just prepare for lots of work and difficult quizzes

Riczo's class is pretty straightforward. Lectures can be dry but he makes up for it with lots of extra credit. Definitely take advantage of the free study tools like Unstuck AI to prep for the quizzes. Overall, a solid intro business course.

In my opinion, Prof. Riczo was like no other. I personally don't think the quizzes were that hard if you read the textbook. He made it abundantly clear what his expectations were, and all you have to do is meet him halfway. Yes, he's strict, but it's because he cares, and I can genuinely say this class made me more sure abt being a business major.

This class was very easy. If you just show up and do the assignments, you will get an A. He gives a lot of extra credit for no reason and is very forgiving if you miss a few assignments. The lectures can be boring, and a lot of the class can get rowdy, but that's what makes it fun. If that's not your style, then don't take but otherwise, easy A.

Very easy class but his lectures do not reflect the weekly chapter very well which makes the quizzes annoying to take. But he gives out so much extra credit it doesn't matter if you do bad on the quizzes if you do all the work that week. Attendance and hw is what influences your grade the most.
