In short, Wuor is incompetent and not understandable. He, at the beginning of the Semester didn't even know what textbook he was using, which should have tipped me off that I should drop, but unfortunately I didn't, and things just got worse from there. A big Thank You to Professor John Taylor for teaching me Stats when Wuor could not STAY AWAY!

Very hard to understand with his accent. He gives you all the questions that he uses on the test the class before. Teaches straight out of the book and homework is fairly easy. If math is not your strong point, I do not recommend him because I basically had to teach myself. Grades are made up of homework and tests. No atttendance policy.

He is the worst professor in math that I have ever had.I couldn't understand a word he was saying. He may be really nice and willing to help but he never gets his point across.If you take him, you will def need someone else to help you pass because he is a terrible teacher!!

Super easy! Just go to the review before the test, and you can find all the answers in the book, and then write those answers on your "formula sheet." Easiest teacher, I've ever had in my life. DOn't take him if your actually TRYING to learn STATS, because it won't happen.

DO NOT TAKE HIM! Impossible to understand. He starts class 15 minutes early. I am taking 1st summer 09- he gave us a syllabus for fall 05 and made fun of someone when they asked for a summer syllabus. Take someone else who can speak english.

Rambles about the theory and definitions. Reviews are just the questions on the test, do them at home and just rewrite them down in class. If you want to learn stats take someone else, if you want to only show up a hand full of days and get A's on exams take him. Final exam is a shot in the dark, learn how to use a ti-83 and you're good to go!

You are are considering taking this class do not take it with this professor. Seriously, go somewhere else to learn this subject or get a grade. He does give you the test but you will have to learn it on your own. If you are a math guru this professor is for you if not then DO NOT TAKE HIM.

This class is awful. You can't understand him and his teaching is hard to follow. He doesn't even know how to do most problems so it is hard to learn from him.

Impossible to understand. He mumbles every single word. The work seems very easy and the tests are the study guides, problem is you dont know how to do the problems because you cant understnad the guy. He doesnt require anything from the textbook but he teaches word for word from it so youre better off reading from the textbook then showing up.

This guy is just impossible to hear. Students would ask him to speak up but he would not. Has a thick accent that is not too difficult to decipher, but can be a pain if you have trouble with math any way. Tells exactly what will be on tests. Has not updated syllabus or grading in years. My class is Fall 2012- syllabi still says Spring 09. Avoid.

He's so hard to understand! he's does not explain anything!! he only solves problems without explaining it. He also will not help you to improve your math skills. AVOID HIM!!!!!

All he did was copy problems from the book onto the board w/o explanations. He also had a thick accent & spoke softly, so if you weren't in the first two rows you couldn't hear. Tests and study guides were the same. I would do the SG & ask him to check it & he would tell me everything was right and then I'd fail my tests with the same work/answers.

Do NOT take this class. He doesn't actually teach and he uses examples straight out of the book. Does not explain anything. Tests are the reviews he gives. His tests are never multiple choice and they are short so if you miss one you basically failed. He took off 5 points off one of my tests bc I didn't put a negative sign in my work.

DO NOT take this class! Dr. Wuor has a very strong accent and can be very difficult to understand. He is a very sweet man but a terrible teacher. Copies problems right out of the book and puts them on the board as notes but doesn't teach them. Tests are not multiple choice and the final is almost impossible to pass.

Had to understand, attendance isn't mandatory but if you don't go you won't pass! The book basically taught me everything.

Very hard to understand him. He goes really fast and is hardly helpful if you ask a question. The homework is terrible. He does give same problems of the test on review day so don't miss it. That's your best shot for getting a reasonable grade. Other than that, if you're taking this course with him, good luck. You're going to need it.

He is such a nice teacher, and really does love his job, there is just a huge language barrier. You cannot understand a word he says, he always has students read things out loud to the class because he cannot. Do not bother emailing him, he will not respond. Very lenient about grades, will let you retake ANYTHING.

I'm sure he's a sweet guy but don't take his class. And if you do, don't bother asking questions because he blatantly ignores them.

This guy barely explained the work. He gave no time for questions. There is a HUGE language barrier. Textbook not needed because he copies everything from the book onto the board and calls it notes.

I had to drop the class because of his poor teaching style and the largest language barrier that I have ever encountered. I wouldn't even recommend this professor to my worst enemy.

He copies exactly what the text book says word for word. He will give you the exact test before exam, but problems are very difficult and he doesn't help solve. Doesn't prepare you for final exam at all.

His writing is hard to read and he always stands directly in front of the problem he's writing. Worst professor I've had by far. He should be fired as soon as possible.

Worst teacher I've ever had. Although the tests are the exact same as the review he gives that doesn't help when it comes time to take the final. He didn't show up for the last class or give us our last test grades back or let us know the grade we had in the class. I went to his office hours like 3 times and he was never there. Awful teacher!!

Wuor is a terrible teacher. He talks very quietly and when you ask him to speak up he gets mad and doesn't get any louder. I sat in the front row and still couldn't hear. He takes problems out of the book and basically writes them on the board without explaining anything. Lots of online hw. Gives you a study guide which is IDENTICAL to the test.

Hardly speaks English hard to hear and doesnt communicate well with students. Also doesnt use canvas

Would not take this class again, nice guy but not the best professor. You don't really need the textbook just the access code. I basically taught myself online than with him.

Didn't use canvas so I didn't know my final grade until it was posted. The material itself is easy if you keep up with the homework but he is hard to understand and his handwriting is hard to read. Going to class is pointless. Went to his office hours for help and somehow ended up showing him how to email a document.

I never showed up to class and never got an attendance grade so its not mandatory. Textbook is optional because you do not really need it. 3 Tests he gives you the problems in advance. He is really not good at explaining math so I would use the access code portion of the class to study (quizzes, hw)

Bad, stats is easy this professor cannot teach he will give you the study guide which is EXACTLY like the exam. This does not help u with the final watch your A drop to a C. He told students 2 get the book he uses but towards the end of semester he gave hw from a different book. Notes R EXACTLY word 4 word from the book. Get the book 4 ur final

He a nice teacher but he cant teach. He is not good at explaining, literally copies out of the textbook and writes it on the board. The test review is the same as the test but he doesnt go over test review so that doesnt help. Toward the end of the semester, he decided to change the math textbook so it harder for everyone to do homework now.

Theres almost no point in going to class. He teaches directly out of the textbook, without anything extra. His English is not great (hes from Liberia), but he rarely talks. Make sure youre there for the review because that is the test. In the textbook, he jumps around. Doesnt even do complete chapters. Honestly surprised hes still teaching.

doesn't make any sense, says attendance counts but only took it 3 times (claimed 4 times gets you dropped which was bs) went to his office to ask what my grade was (he doesn't use canvas) & he said he wouldn't know our grades till after the final. Said he'd let me retake a test & when I came he said it wasn't allowed? had to drop to save myself
