he his very energenic and moves fast. He is very knowledgable. He is also very helpful. He is available in the math lab almost anytime. He is fair in that he will correct problems in your mathlab problems that were questionable. If you try hard he will help. Nice guy.

If I needed extra time with my homework he was always willing to extend the date and he was available anytime office hours or email. I strongly suggest you take him for all your math classes! SUPER energetic! Even first thing in the morning. For the most part, he's been a really good teacher. Only thing I don't like about the class is doing the post test because about half the problems aren't covered in class. Overall, I would recommend him; he's very helpful. Plus, he'll extend an assignment if you really need him to.

I've taken Professor Burrow for both College Algebra and Statistics. He really invests his energy into the class a and cares about his students. He is one of the most helpful professors I've taken at CTC. I dreaded taking math courses for my degree, however it was much better while taking it with Professor Burrow.

I would recommend you take it on campus because the book and its online program aren't helpful at all . But, as long as you have the time to put in the work, you should be fine. The teacher is great: understanding, helpful, approachable. Plus, the quizzestests are VERY similar to the practice ones so they are never a surprise.

Of course this is a tough course... its calculus! The class covers 5 chapters consisting of homeworks, a quiz, and then 3 exams. You do have to work for your grade but its not that bad. He was very understanding and helpful and I pulled off a B. If you have to take this course, take him! Most importantly don't be afraid to ask him for anything!!!

Chad (Steven) saved my semester. I did not like math going into his class, but as soon as I explained my situation he was willing to help. I checked in every so often, just to track my grade and make sure of dates & he was always willing to help. Although math is not my strong suit, he managed to make it more enjoyable. The Student Center is the best place to go for help and assistance.

He also has no problem looking over your quiz work to see if more points can be given. Lastly, I thought it was pretty cool that he shows you how to use a graphing calculator.

Mr. Burrow (Chad) is my favorite professor I have had, and I hate math. He made Algebra pretty easy understand by teaching what you need to know and what will be used on the test, in a pretty easy way. Although the class moves fast, if you can keep up with the energy then you will pass.

Not just the greatest Math Teacher CTC has to offer, but just the greatest teacher in general. He's upbeat, keeps class interesting and funny, and is always available for extra help. He grades a lot on effort, so if you put the effort in, he will review your scratch paper and find any way possible to award you for your effort. A+++++ teacher.

By far my favorite math professor at CTC. He makes class fun and he is always ALWAYS there to help! He wants everyone in his class not only to pass but also to understand! He is so sweet and funny. I am bad at math so I really had to try hard to pass and being an introvert didn't help much either. He basically gives you all the homework answers in class so write what you can. I did have a couple of mental breakdowns from how much work we had all whilst balancing out my other classes, but if I can do it you can too!

I have over 150 credit hours and Burrow is the best professor Ive had. I cannot recommend anyone more.

Mr. Burrows STAT class was a BSN prereqs for me and it went especially well! I loved how energetic he was every single day, he tends to each of his students, and he honestly just wants to help you pass and move on with life haha. STATS was just a bunch of calculator steps (as he taught it) and I would absolutely take him again for another subject.

EASY class. Just take notes what he writes on the board. Quizzes and tests may feel difficult to some people, so do practice quizzes and tests as much as you need. If you get bad grades on them, don't worry because he will check every questions that you got wrong to give you some credits back (if you used the blue book and if the answers are close)

I took professor Burrow for Cal 2 and Cal 3. One of the best teachers I've ever had. I really enjoyed his class, he's funny, easy going, and he genuinely cares about what he does. He grades easily as well and gives credit when credit is due. You will have to pay attention, do not slack! He is an amazing teacher, but it is calculus so good luck!

Take Burrow! I took his Cal 2&3 class and have no regrets. He does move a little fast so pay attention! Professor Burrow made cal 2 so easy! I struggled in Cal 3, but it wasn't bad. This man really saved me. I struggled with course load this semester and he was compassionate and kind. I didn't do the work for his class for nearly a month and he allowed me to still do the work and get my 30 grade to a B. The semester isn't over yet ( I have the final) but without him i genuinely wouldn't be able to pass. 10/10

Had Calculus I with Chad, made every effort get Calculus II with him again. He does examples of homework in-class. He's still happy to answer questions. Still accessible outside of class. Professor Burrow is an overall great professor. If you have to take a morning class, he will certainly wake you up, and he is always there to help. But, it should be noted that he is different form other math professors at CTC. He focuses much less on the nuts and bolts and much more on the bigger picture. Interpret that as you may, he is a gem.

The only possible way to fail is if you don't put effort into anything. : / Mr. Burrow replies to emails fast and is very polite. Compared to other teachers I've emailed, he's pretty quick. If you're a math major who's also a little intimidated by math, elementary statistics is a start. :-)

He is so funny. Doing exercises for each chapter on MyMathLab and the application chapter on the blackboard on time and can get a good grade.

Omg so easy. Made a A in PRECALCULUS like huhhhhhh. He very caring and considerate definitely wants you to pass. I took him online and felt like he really cared so let alone in person. Online the computer can mark stuff wrong with tests he allowed you to communicate the answers being typos and brought my grade on a test from a C to A.

Take his class because he is very engaging, answers questions, and is very insightful. He made me love math even more, and I would love to take more of his classes. He let us use Desmos and a notecard on the tests to help us. He also gives extra credit if you turn in the notecard and scratch paper after your test.
