this class was sooo fun.....he makes it interesting and its really easy, all you do is look at pictures and talk about them and you usually get out early. he does take attendance sometimes but dont worry about buying the books, you prob wont use them.

This guy knows everything about everything. He's so helpful and very funny. Not too hard on the eyes either. I've taken everything he's taught. Next summer he's teaching a new class on Ancient Egypt I think. There is no one else like him here at ECU, hands down. And his wife's pretty cute, too.

His class is so easy! He's funny and his lectures are definatley not boring. Plus we usually get out of class early! This is an easy A for a fine arts/humanities class

The class is simple, material is easy. ANYONE with half a brain can make an A. JUST GO TO CLASS. It's not hard. He's funny, but he has the tendency to ramble and be rude. I'd avoid asking questions though, he'll make you look stupid and not care. Just ask a classmat or something.

This is seriously the EASIEST class at ECU. All you have to do is show up and it is an easy A! He is hilarious and this is honestly the only class in my 4 years I have wanted to go to to see what he was going to say during class. His sense of humor is a little strange but it's worth waking up for.

If you wanna take Latin, take him. No other consideration. The finest Latin teacher I've ever heard. And he says he's even better at teaching Greek, but he doesn't currently teach it. He cusses in class and doesn't care. Know why? He has tenure. He also laughs like Dr. Evil. Lots of sex jokes.

OMG, it is impossible to fail his class! If you fail, you don't need to be in college at all. In addition to that, he is so hilarious. He makes going to class a worth while experience.

Cerutti is a professor that you will be talking about for a long time to come. He's very direct, open, and funny. Has some of the longest "uh's" of any professor on campus. Do the damn reading and know the background knowledge he gives you and you should be able to ace all the quizzes. I didnt need the extra credit I got to get an A but that does tell you he gives out some extra credit. If you volunteer to read, he'll give you extra credit for that too. He's kind of a pain to see or communicate with outside of class, because he can be cranky and moody and he despises email. Regardless, take him and experience one of the best and most knowledgeable professors you will ever learn from.

He has a dirty mouth and a very dirty mind, but suprisingly I found him to be very likeable and approachable. I found the subject matter for his class to be extremely interesting. Good class to take for a humanity elective.

Only two tests, no paper, no final: easy, easy A. Just do the work, even during class, and you'll get the same. Buy my book even. I sold it back to ECU: has ink stains over it, but it also has most of the answers too. I leanred not to ask questions after the first one I asked)because he is very disrespectful. Don't get caught w/o an answer either!

Well, it was only LATN 1, so not too much to learn in the first place , no tests, he busted his lip open one morning and came to class with blood on his shirt and barely able to talk, taught the lesson with an ice pack covering his face ... he should have been in the ER ... instead he was in class, he expects you to be there too.

Though it has been almost 10 years since I studied under Dr. Cerutti, I highly recommend his classes. He makes the subjects that he teaches interesting, accessible and fun. In adddition, I learned a tremendous amount of information that I apply to my profession and that I also pass along to my students.

He's the best professor at ECU. He's really not a rude person. People from the high school setting aren't use to how opinionated and freely he thinks. He's the nicest guy ever. If you approach him and show an interest in what he's teaching you will have a much better time in the class. Introduce yourself. He really appreciates knowing his students!

best and most entertaining professor I've had so far at ECU. The class was at 9:30 but I had no problem waking up for it. You never know what he's going to do or what he may say next, take him no matter what the course!

He's very interested in what he teaches, so he gets very excited about it. A little out there sometimes, but that's what everyone enjoys about him. Take him if you want to enjoy a class for a change. His tests were based on slides that he had showed us, so just go to class.

I have taken all of his Classics classes & loved them! He's funny,random,& kinda hott! Great personality & has done wonders for the Classics Dept. Read his books-they are entertaining and informative. GO TO CLASS - especially if you have him for a Summer school!

Simply the most inspirational teacher at ECU. Plato would be proud. Without him, the Classic dept would dry up. No matter your major, take one of his classes. He taught me and now he's teaching my daughter and she loves him. But don't skip class, you'll pay for it dearly and you won't learn anything by sleeping. Oh, and bring an OPEN mind.

He is inspiring! He makes learning fun and his excitement on the subjects gets you excited. He will stop right in the middle of a lecture to tell a funny story and it will turn out that the story teaches you something. He?s by far the greatest professor on the ECU campus. Extremely smart, knows his stuff. Took his Rome class and it was very, very interesting. Made me want to visit Rome, which I hope to do someday. Wish I could have taken his other classes too but I was graduating. Class is exciting and he keeps your attention! Definitely take his class!!!

Took for roman culture and it was the easiest class ive ever taken at ECU. All power points and the test are super easy. No attendance but you cant get the info any where but class. But hes so fun youll want to go to class

As long as you go to class, it is extremely easy to get an A. It is very interesting if you go and pay attention. I took him for Pompeii and then again for Rome. He can be kind of cheesy, but it it funny and keeps you entertained. No textbook, only 3 tests, attendance is not mandatory, but that's the only way you can learn. Take him!

By far the most amazing professor I have ever had. He's extremely helpful, and he cares about his students. He is very humorous, as well. If I recommend any classes taught by ANY professors at ECU, his classes would, by far, rank number one.

I swear this man can make anything interesting. His class consists of sarcasm, jokes, and stories that will make you remember anything he teaches. Would recommend this class/professor to anyone! Most entertaining professor I have had by far. He is absolutely hysterical. His lectures are fun making the material easier to understand. Class is spent going over homework and you get a word of the day that will be on the exam. Incredibly difficult to do badly in the class if you pay attention and attend EVERY class. You won't regret taking him.

This was my favorite class I've taken at ECU. He was a great teacher, didn't assign a book or homework, and made it clear in class what would be on the test. If you skip class I have no idea how you can pass since there's no information given outside of class but it's an enjoyable class and worth going to.

Great professor, taking him again in the fall. All you have to do is do the homework, show up, take notes, and study. He is hilarious and brilliant. He is also very invested in his students, you can stop by his office during his hours and he is more than willing to help. You have to go to class to get the notes, he does NOT use blackboard.

What a cool dude. I am now searching for more classes he teaches for a humanities credit because I love his class so much. Dr. Cerutti gives no homework for this class, no final, and he's hilarious. Very knowledgable teacher. Sometimes he tries to give lessons on life. Test questions are clear cut, doesn't "play mind games", and doesn't need to curve. There are about 75 homework problems due at each class so you can participate in the lecture, most are easy though. If you go to class and are remotely awake, you should pass with an A.

He reads in class and you have the opportunity to get up to 26 points by just simply signing up and reading in class. You have 8 quizzes based on reading, and no final or tests. Going to class gives you an advantage because you can read in class to get extra points and he also tells you what quotes and information you need to know for the quiz

You read during each class. I had 3:30-4:45 and we were always out by 4:15. Days on test you usually get out right on time or little bit early. Attendance is not mandatory, but showing up and listening will give you an A. He gives you extra credit every class to read. Really easy class.

Easiest class I've ever taken. Show up, take his shots at religion with grain of salt, and enjoy his raucousness that caused the class next door to ask him to shut up six times in three weeks. He's fantastic. Get him talking after class and you'll be best friends.

Mr. Cerutti is one of the best professors I've taken at ECU. He really cares about your grade and makes it almost impossible not to get an A. He is always cracking jokes and really knows how to keep his class entertained. He requires you to do homework before each class meeting but the homework never took me more than half an hour. Would take again

Dr. Cerutti is great. He's one of the funniest professors I've had. He rarely cancels class but often lets class out early after the material for the day is covered. Attendance is not mandatory due to policy, but if you want to pass you will need to go to class. The only grades are 3 exams (in his Pompeii class), but he did give extra credit once.

He is so funny. He gives you chances for extra credit. He doesn't take attendance, but being in class and paying attention is half the work. He does assign homework almost every class, but he goes over it and it isn't for a grade. He gets off topic, but he can relate anything to Greek or Latin. Learn to use a dictionary and you'll be fine.

Dr. Cerutti is great. I learned a lot from his class. Grade was based on 2 exams and that was it. I'm already registered to take another one of his courses. He offers extra credit and encourages class attendance. He likes when students sit in the front and participate.

Cerutti's class was a lot of fun this semester. I took it for a humanities credit and it was a great choice. We read plays in class, every time you read a part (including chorus) you get extra credit added to your final average. He WANTS you to get an A! Take this class, you won't regret it.

BEST Humanities Class you can take! Extremely Fun and Extremely easy! He reads TO YOU! And if you want extra credit, sign up to read a character each class and you get 2 extra points EACH TIME YOU READ! Thats ALOT of Extra Credit!! There is NO attendance but if you want to pass the quizzes, just go to class and listen to the readings. Easy A+

He is literally the best professor I've had at ECU. His classes are EASY as long as you ATTEND class. He will literally tell you the answers on the quizzes for CLASS2400 during class and gives TONS of extra credit. I'm also in his CLAS3405 and you have to attend every class to know the questions on the tests But his class is so interesting its fun

Absolutely love Mr. Cerutti! He is hilarious and knows what he's talking about. He doesn't care if you show up or not but if you do be respectful and not have your phone out, because he will call you out on it if he sees it. All of the material is really interesting and the tests are super easy. Show up to class and pay attention for 45min. EASY

Dr. Cerutti is truly a man who can tell a story. If you find the material interesting then this is a class you will definitely look forward to. Exams were a breeze AS LONG AS YOU SHOW UP. He makes it very clear at the beginning of the course attendance is not mandatory BUT as long as you show up to class it is the easiest A you will ever get.

History of Pompeii is the easiest and best class you will take at ECU. He wants everyone to get an A and lets you out early every day. He is passionate about what he teaches and gives the easiest exams you will take. Just show up and that's all you will have to do, graded on 3 exams.

I took this class for an easy A, but it ended up being one of my favorite classes. Take his class if you want something easy, but you must be willing to still put in effort IN CLASS. He's hilarious and I'll remember his class forever.

He's a knowledgeable teacher who makes the class enjoyable. The class isn't difficult if you pay attention. Tests are multiple choice. He does NOT respond to emails, he prefers meeting in person. Could not see all of the lecture videos and he didn't fix the problem. I risked it and took the test anyway, passed the test.

I have taken every class Dr. Cerutti offers at ECU. Hes hilarious & overall amazing prof. All his lectures are posted the first week of class. Theres usually only a handful of tests, which he gives you all the answers for. Everything is due the last day of class. He will literally take the test with you to make sure you pass it. Easiest A at ECU
