I have him now. Best math teacher I've ever had. MAkes me want to come to class everyday. We are moving at a very fast pace because its a winter class. But i understand everything he teaches. The good thing about the way he teaches is he lets us try to do the problems first. Other professor just do it by themselves! Best teacher ever.

Great guy, keeps your attention on the subject, does not require you to purchase the book, posts his notes online in powerpoint, and his notes are clear and easy to understand,gets straight to the point. He really wants you to pass and urges you to ask questions. He is very helpful and is overall a great Prof, the CUNY system needs more like him.

I lovee him thats all I can say. He is the best professor at qcc. He is so funny, down to earth, always there to help you and very good looking. I ve never got an A in math and in his class I did. He reviews for all of his exams , just study and you will do good. If you dont take his class you will regret it .

Great teacher, very helpful. The only problem is he pass people that doesn't deserve to pass, when you pass a student that doesn't know the work in a lower level class; when they get to a higher level class and the work is harder they keep back the rest of the class. It's happening in my class right now!

Steven is such a cool&fun teacher! I took this class in a condensed winter session and thought it'd be difficult, but Steven really helped me and the other students pull through it! His tests are alright, and the final was great b.c he used previous test questions on it! I highly recommend Cheng, you'll love the class as long as you work hard!

Very cool professor. He made me fall in love with math. He is so funny!!! Very flexible. He doesn't require to do the homework, but if you do it, you will pass all his tests with flying colors!!! He also gives you a lot of extra credits! Highly recommend him!

Awesome professor!! Aka Dj on the Moon :):) Really knows how to communicate well with other students and he is very friendly! Easy A if u study all the notes from class!!! FYI he does not require a text book and a hint u do not really need to do the homework !!! Just make sure u review the problems u did in class b/c the same prom lens comes back, he only changes the number slightly!!!!! I wish he reaches math 441 :)

What can I say , i took him for the summer MA336. his class is fun, very clear, easy class to pass, he briefly explains what your going to see on the test so you only focus on that. And lets you use a cheat sheet for your exam. His notes are all on blackboard. Take him! And gives extra credit!

He's a great professor and human being! He loves what he does and that really comes across in his teaching. I had him for PreCalculus and he is just as wonderful as everyone else says. But Pre-Cal has a lot of information so make sure to work hard bc its not as easy as I thought it could be but if anyone can get you thru it will be him!!:)

Best professor ever! I took him in the winter for pre-calculus and he was very helpful. He explained everything and gave extra credit to help boost you're grade. I hated math until I had him. Wish he taught calculus.

This guy is pretty goofy, but in a good way. He's entertaining. As for easiness, I gave him a 5 because math comes easy to me, but the grades for clarity and helpfulness are purely based on his teaching style. He's a cool guy that enjoys math and enjoys teaching. You can really see that in his enthusiasm. One of the coolest math professors at QCC.

His ridiculous humor will keep you to be focus and enjoy statistics with a breeze. Overall this was a pretty easy class to pass as long as you studied/ practiced the required material. He will always be there if you had any questions! Definitely will recommend him if you need to take statistics...he's #1~

Professor Cheng is one of the best in QCC. A must take prof. He does not check or grade the homework but you must do it because the test are based on some of the HW problems. You will pass if you study hard, remember is calculus and the is no easy professor like him!

OK professor. Lectures entertaining with tons of jokes. BUY THE TEXTBOOK & DO THE ASSIGNMENTS. Homework isn't mandatory but he uses the homework problems on the test. He gives study sheets (with answers attached) without an in class review. Plus the sheet was nothing like test. But he is a fair grader. Gives top points for showing your work.

Prof Cheng was one of my favorite professors. He makes math very easy to comprehend. I had him for MA 121 (Trig) in the winter & MA 119 (College Algebra) in the fall. HE'S REALLY THE BEST!!!

It was tedious but it helped you when you were studying for his tests. Plus he makes the class fun by telling jokes so it's never really a dull moment.

My favorite math prof at QCC. He understands the struggle of being a student, and how most people don't like math. He makes it fun while engaging students by asking them to go up to the board to share answers for extra credit. While his tests aren't too challenging, his class is really fun. Amazing! passed math with ease after failing once before. He's funny and makes learning not as bad. He give plenty extra credit and also gives partial credit. If you struggle with math take him & you'll pass!

He is a really good teacher. He would stop and explain the material a couple of times if someone doesnt understand. 3 tests, final is cumulative. one statistical report since the class was Writing intensive but he made it really easy to make the report. Good class. Would take again. Test are not hard or tricky if you study. He is pretty funny too.

I was not good at algebra but when i took this class, i became confident and excited to solve problems correctly.I was the third person to get a 100 on the final exam in that course overall i think; maybe there were more because my classmates were smart. Steven Cheng was one of my best professor in QCC. He's an amazing professor, helpful, clear explanation. I had a winter class with him, e was so helpful. After he even waited two more extra hours for students who needs help. If you work seriously from beginning of semester you can get an A. I strongly recommended him. you won't regret.

If you dont understand math TAKE IT WITH Mr. Cheng. He really takes his time to make sure you understand the material. He doesnt make the material seem intimidating. Honestly one of the best stats prof at the college . He wants to see his students excel and he tries to help you out in the best way possible . Professor Cheng is amazing! Class consisted of four exams including the final, he also offers extra credit at the end of the semester. So, I took professor Cheng for the fall semester. He is an amazing professor. His recording lectures are the most clear and understandable videos I ever seen. If you need help with anything he will answer your email right away. There is homework every week but its easy. He gave us a decent amount of time to finish the quizzes and tests.

Amazing professor! He made statistics really easy to understand with his lectures, online recordings of his lectures and review sheets. Dropped your lowest grade and the lab part was really easy. His lectures can be boring at times, but hes really funny and cool. hes forgetful though, and makes mistakes with grading so always check that.

If you want to learn clear-cut math with a good amount of help, easy homework, and straightforward tests take this guy. He grades off work mostly and not the actual answer. He is also very funny, nice, and just a well round great professor. I'd take him again any time, he also has simple weekly HW assignments that will boost your grade.
