I was not looking forward to taking American Government, but Prof Collins was a great instructor. He kept things interesting and kept disccusions up with current events. Assignments and tests were easy. I recommend him.

Professor Collins has a great attitude! He encourages his students to voice their opinions on a variety of topics that they might not normally discuss. I enjoyed taking his class, quite a bit more than I thought I would.

Professor Collins is wonderful! He has an outgoing personaility, and he welcomes dialogue from the students. He actually makes American Government interesting, he remains on point with the syllabus. If you attended class, pay attention, and do your assignments, you will pass with an A and learn something.

Professor Collins was a great professor. He encouraged discussions and debate within the class. A student could feel free to speak their mind without fear of upsetting the teacher. He kept his political and philosophical beliefs to himself, so not to influence the class. A must have professor!!

Great professor!I never liked government classes and found them boring until Dr Collins! His lectures were engaging and clear. He's very eager to help with any questions and makes you feel comfortable about sharing your opinion (no matter where you stand on the subject). Wish he taught more courses.

Prof. Collins is and amazing professor. I predicted that government would be my least favorite class, but it turned out to be my absolute favorite. He made government interesting...which can be hard to do! We got in a lot of deep discussions and although he made class fun, I retained a lot of information. Highly recommend Prof Collins.

Take Professor Collins! Especially if you hate government. He's such a nice guy, makes students a priority, and makes what is usually a boring class very interesting. His tests are all over notes, and he drops your lowest test grade at the end. Lots of little homework assignments, but very easy.

Excellent Professor, must take him. Only professor in the sad department that knows what their doing. This place would be a joke without him. Make him in charge of the Department, and get rid of that lady who runs it like a jailhouse.

Dr.Collins makes it easier for use student understand the function of government by using recent political events to his lectures. He's also very eager to help his students even during office hours or any other time. If think government bores you take Dr.Collins, you'll have a whole new perspective on government!

I was never interested in government until I took this class. He was beyond helpful. Why can't more professors teach like him? Hands down the best professor at OSU-OKC. I am now interested in government. He also helped me get an internship at Georgetown during the summer of 2012

Best professor/teacher I have ever had at any level of my education. VERY knowledgeable on many things especially law. This class didn't use a book. Just the constitution. He is very good at emailing back and staying in touch throughout the semester. He wants his students to succeed in his class and in life.

Professor Collins promotes free thinking and discussion amongst students. The class is fairly easy but it is a entry level college class at a 2 year school so that is to be expected. Collins has a great deal of knowledge and is also a attorney.

This professor is hands down the best professor I have ever had. I thought this would be by far the least interesting class, but by the second week, I was looking forward to attending his class and took an interest into politics. I highly recommend this professor, as he is very engaging with the whole class, and makes it very interesting.

Wonderful class. Makes things easy and kinda fun to learn. Be prepared to take notes on the few random names he'll give off though!

Professor Collins is by far the absolute best professor I've ever had. I took his class my very first semester of college and have since taken every class he offers. He makes learning about government fun and interesting. Definitely take his class (any of them!) if you get the chance to! You won't regret it!

I really enjoyed this class, it was very easy as long as you participated and read as you were supposed to. I think I learned a lot from this class and I'm glad I took it because the knowledge I had before this class was limited (about government).

He is respected by the students, funny, he gives extra credit, its so easy to pass his class and his lectures don't even feel like lectures, because they're fun

Dr. Collins is a GREAT professor! He is very helpful, very clear on what he's talking about. His lectures are so interesting and fun it doesn't even feel like you're learning, but when you leave, you know you learned a lot! He gives you 4 exams, but he will drop your lowest grade, you might not even have to take his final, because he'll drop it!

I never thought that American Government would be my favorite class, unitl I had Dr. C as an instructor. He seriously wants all his students to succeed. If you take American Government take Dr. Collins class. You Rock Dr.C!!!!!

Dr collins is a very good instructor. He is very clear on his teaching and wants his students to succeed. He is very considerate and gives extra points, drops one exam and extends due dates sometimes. I wish he taught others subjects.

I wish I hadn't taken the class online because how awesome this professor is! My brother & cousin even told me how much they loved him when hey had his class. The work is stupid easy. Read a chapter, take a quiz, done. Lectures are very in depth & fascinating.

Dr. C is awesome!! Makes class super entertaining. He is very good at remembering his students and getting them excited for government. I would look forward to going to his classes and learned a very good amount.

Prof. Collins is great! The syllabus seems like a lot and I almost dropped the class because of it, but it was so easy. If you participate in the discussion and take your quizzes and exams you will get an A. He is easy going, very easy to get ahold of and really a good teacher. Taking this online during the summer was a breeze!

Great professor, was always there during office hours and if he wasn't going to be, he would send an email to let everyone know. His class was pretty easy and I would recommend him to anyone that asks who they should take.

Doctor Collins is a great professor. His class is very straight forward and he goes above and beyond to make sure people get the material. He posts the lecture notes online so you can print them out if you choose. He gives a clear timeline of when things are due. He also posts the test reviews online in both text form and audio. Great professor

Am taking professor Collins for U.S. Government. He loves participation in class and makes politics interesting, something I thought impossible. He uses group-on so that you can text him and he replies almost any time of the day. Great teacher and very interested in each students opinion and personal life as well. Easy to get a hold of.

Dr. Collins is such a great professor! He is caring and passionate about his students and their success. He is avid about government and it shows in his dedication. He's cool and funny and is available through calling, texting or emailing at any time. Book isn't necessary. He gives lectures and has discussions with each module. Fantastic professor!

Professor Collins is extremely knowledgeable, has a great stage presence, and is willing to help all of his students. Attendance is not mandatory; however, there are surprise "pop quizzes," so it is better just to attend class. His tests vary in level of difficultly but he posts a thorough study guide for each one. One of the best professors ever!

Great professor! This was my first semester back to college in over 5 years and I am very glad that I took his class. I found it difficult to read the material in the book because I'm not a big political science person but his recorded lectures (I took an online class) were a big game changer and made things a lot easier.

He was a very good teacher! I had him for government my 1st semester of college and he is very kind and makes sure everyone really understands the material before he moves on.

Dr. Collins was amazing!! I took his government class concurrently to get credit for high school and was not disappointed. He breaks everything down in great PowerPoints and does small 20 minute lecture videos if youre short on time. Hes also extremely caring just wants to see his students succeed!

Professor collins is awesome!!! You only have 3 due dates so you can do assignments a month ahead or behind. He was flexible with issues on deadlines and has fun lectures. I would def recommend for political science.
