This is by far the best chemistry proff at Temple University. If you are interested in learning the material, becoming prepared for standardized exams, and receiving a fair grade, then take Dr. Fleming! He grades, and returns exams promptly and his office is always open for questions or concerns. Study hard, go to class, and ask questions, get "A".

I had him for both 2201 and 2202. Dr. Fleming is the best! He will make learning Organic Chem exciting and he will encourage students to do well. He is approachable and readily available. Dr. Flemming was an absolutely great teacher. He is helpful and bright and takes the time to get to know all of his students even in classes with 200 kids. We became pretty good friends out of class and he is willing to meet and help with you 24/7. He has some funny jokes and is very reasonable...tests are crazy hard but fairly curved. Loads of fun

Fleming expects you to learn on your own from the textbook. Class is mostly a review session. His ability to explain concepts has waned considerably; he teaches too fast and skips many important steps when explaining things. Only sign up for his session if you are ready to grind it out by yourself.

I took both Orgo I and Orgo II with him. I think he's the best professor that I've had at Temple.
