Glazers the man... he looks like hes not much older then the rest of us, but he definatly knows his *hit.

Glazer is a good guy, good teacher, very willing to help his students. His test are a bit hard but i never studied and still got a B. The homework he assigns is not that hard if you study it and hes very willing to help you out incase its not clear enough in the book. I would definatly recomend his class.

Really great teacher. He always makes sure everyone understand the material before moving on. He wants to see you succeed and will help you get the best grade possible.He's always willing help and is very fair in grading.

Glazer is good professor. Do your homework; ask a lot of question, e-mail him but not on Sunday. His exam? You better study. I think he tries to be funny, oh the part I like, he walk from one side to the other and always says "does everyone see that" or "any question". How old is the guy really, he looks like a student.

do not even bother taking this class with anybody BUT Steven Glazer! He is exceptional in his teaching style, people skills and knowledge of subject! He will not move on until everybody understands everything...homeworks/tests are difficult, but reasonable. If you pay attn and study it's an easy A!

Mr. Glazer is one of the greatest teachers at NCC. He goes over the material a couple times and you understand what is required from you. You don't even have to use the book, just notes from his brilliant lectures!

Steve is a great professor. Explains things very clearly. Take notes! Everything he writes on the board you NEED to know for HW and tests. He is friendly, but don't be disrespectful or he will call you out in front of the whole class. He is funny and looks like he's in his 20s. Must buy the text book because you'll need it for HW.

Professor Glazer is truly a 'Professor of Economics' I learned a whole bunch in his class and I am truly grateful to him for all that he taught me. Thank you Prof. Glazer, you are awesome

Great great teacher, had him for a summer course. I'm an english major who hates any course involving graphs and tables, and I still found his microeconomics class interesting and fun. Finished with an A beacuse of his knack for simplifying the hard stuff, this guys knows his stuff and knows how to teach.

He actually knows how to teach and make the material easy to understand. Amazing professor, love him. Gives great notes, which you need for HW/etc. Explains everything thoroughly in class. Great Professor! Explains the material so that everyone understands and is not confused. If you have any questions he is available before and after class and by email. If you have to take Micro and/or Macro, I would highly reccommend you take it with him, you will be happy you did.

I don't think NCC has a better teacher than S. Glazer.The class is fun but requires you to think and certainly study for test. Once you do that there will be nothing that could surprise. One thing: Don't **** in his class about how you didn't have time to finish exam because it was too long!!! Give a guy a break-he can't just give you an "A"!

Professor Glazer is by far the best teacher I have ever had. He engages you in the material, and is very clear about everything he teaches. I would recommend his class to anybody!

Highly recommend this professor. I took this course in the evening after a long day at work. His style of teaching peaks your interest. Very thorough lessons.

He always was available to help wither it be through e-mail, office hours or after/before class. The class was very hard and the test where equally hard and worded tricky.

There's a reason he has over 40 ratings when he hasn't been teaching at NCC for so long. Simply the best. You'd be doing yourself a disservice by taking anyone else for Econ.I had him for both 101 and 102. Too bad he doesn't teach any more classes! Must take him if you go to NCC.

The best prof in the school. He is a fair grader (not too easy) and he gives all the opportunities to get an A in his class. He is super helpful and the two economics classes I've taken with him were definitely the only two classes I really enjoyed taking. Explains everything in the best way!

Prof. Glazer is extremely helpful. just come to class and take notes and you'll do great! only 3 exams, 5 h.w assignments, 3 quizzes and 5 extra credit! he reviews over and over before exam/quiz pretty much the same questions and gives partial credit! totally recommended!

He can teach you how to fix the economy! You will have fun, and learn more than any other class at NCC. He will never share his personal life or views.

Prof Glazer also teaches at Uconn Stamford. I took micro with him and prior to the class had no interest in economics...now its my major! Very clear and helpful, go to class, take notes, and do the homework and you will do well. Also does a lot of extra credit opportunities!

Honestly one of the best teachers I've ever had. Attendance is not mandatory but if you want to do well, go to class, take notes, and do the homework. Simple as that. I had no interest in economics and now I'm going to take his Macro class even though I don't need it for my degree-that's how good he is!

Professor Glazer is one of the Best Professors at NCC. My interest level has grown significantly for economics. If you want a teacher that that is going to boost your interest in the subject matter he is the one to take these two classes with. He is always available to help you with anything via email and office hours.

He is the best teacher at NCC. This class is easy if you do the HW because all quizzes are based on it. You do need the book but you can use previous versions.

Prof. Glazer is awesome. He couldn't make this class any easier...I knew nothing about economics and got an A-. Responds fast to emails, gives you plenty of opportunities to ask questions. If you go to class and take notes you are golden.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER! I took him for D101 without knowing what I was getting myself into, but he made the subject so clear and fun that I had no problems. Took him again for D102 and it was as great as the previous class. SUPER recommended!

Do yourself a favor and don't take anyone else other than this professor. Show up to class, don't have to say a word, just listen and take notes. Homework assignments and quizzes are simple. Exams are extremely fair. His extra credit opportunity is really generous and it's sad only a few students take advantage of it. Easy A without much effort.

Best teacher EVER! LIKE EVER! I'm not kidding. If you're planning to take an ECN class, this is the right professor for you! He fully understands his students and responds to emails pretty quickly. All you have to do is take notes to pass, you don't even need a book and his extra credit assignments are pretty reasonable.

Professor Glazer is one of the best teachers that I have had in college. Economics is not fun at all but after taking his class you will understand economics a whole lot better. He is there for you and will answer all your questions. His homework , quizzes and test will be base on exactly what he has covered. Make sure you take good notes.

Can I say, top notch!! All the reviews on here are true, he is such a great professor. Two tests and one final with 6 simple homeworks and three announced quizzes. He drops the lowest quiz and homework grades too. The test are always 12 (kind of difficult) multiple choice and then 2-4 problems that you learned thoroughly from class and homework.

Gives extra credit assignments and gives partial credit on test, quizzes and homework assignments. Great lectures too... so good that his classroom ran out of desks and chairs constantly!

Hands down the best teacher at Norwalk Community College. Really cares about his students and makes sure you pass the class (as long as you do the work). Really cool guy. Take all your economic requirements with him and if you're at Uconn Stamford, take his classes there too. Great professor.

Absolutely my favorite Professor at Norwalk Community College. He takes his times with his students! He makes sure you understand what you have learned in the previous class. He takes his lessons super serious as well but leaves enough rooms to crack maybe a joke or two! If I could take his class again I would!

What can I say about Professor Glazer... Just take him! Awesome teacher! Take notes everything is based on your notes, homework, tests, etc. 3 Quizzes are easy. 3 Exams, 1st one was easy, 2nd and Final were a bit tough but if you study your notes you will ace them. This lanky, brainy, and wisely skillful man definitely sleeps next to GDP spreadsheets. There's no question he has a love for economics, which makes it compellingly easy to listen to him speak about it for 2 hours. He is clear on material, and straight forward with his syllabus.

One word: Phenomenal. Prof. Glazier is truly outstanding in terms of coursework. You receive 4-5 quizzes, 3 tests, and a total of 6 homeworks throughout the semester. The homework highly contributes to the problems on the quizzes and the test, it is critical you complete them. Very consistent at explaining every concept. Focus and you WILL not fail

Incredible professor. He makes a topic that many thought would be difficult very easy and interesting. Makes jokes here and there, study hard for tests and quizzes and you're all set.

He is just the best! His classes are interesting, he makes something difficult easy to learn. if you do all the work you will be just fine. He has office hours and is very available to students. He does not take attendance, but his lectures are very important; I advice to attend them. I wish he taught more classes.

Took him at UCONN Stamford. Really nice and passionate professor. He answers e-mails quickly and is willing to answer any questions that a student might have. Lots of reading and long classes but he tried to make the topic really interesting. 2 open-ended essay style tests and a single long research paper on a topic of your choice.

Took him over the summer last year, even in a fast paced 1 month course he was a delight to have as a professor. Always was helpful and doesn't want his students to fall behind. Just make sure to go to ALL his classes and take good notes and make sure to ask questions, he wont hesitate to go over some material with you and makes it very interesting

Took his macroeconomics class and it was an intense class but he makes it easier to understand. He gives amazing lectures and cares about his student and wants them to do well. Definitely taking his microeconomics class!

He's the best professor on campus. He sets you up to succeed in class. Quizzes and tests are based on homework. He explains it in a way that everybody understands it. He also gives you the chance to earn extra credit. His lectures are sometimes boring, but he tries to make it interesting.

Professor Glazer is awesome. He definitely knows his material and tries to make a boring topic fun. He really cares about his students and wants to see them do well. Be prepared to stay the full 2 1/2 hours. Books are "mandatory" but you only use them on the midterm and final (both take home).

Professor Glazer is very organized with his lectures, and the class syllabus practically says all the requirements needed. His quizzes are relatively easy, as long as you listen to his lectures. Textbook is not needed, gives extra credit for news articles to further improve your grade. The best econ professor as he makes it interesting. Take him!

Prof Glazer is a great teacher. He is very good at what he does. He is very patient as well. He literally breaks everything down to make sure you understand. Great professor overall. For his online class he provides 2-3 pages worth of notes per chapter section so be ready to read and take light notes of your own in order to understand the content. Textbook was free online and only used it for some hw assignments/extra credit.

I took ECND101 (Online Principles of Macroeconomics) with professor Glazer and thoroughly enjoyed it. My only issue with the class is that we were instructed to purchase a textbook (not exactly sure if it was mandatory or not) which I literally did not open once the entire semester and still managed an A. Otherwise a great class, nice professor.

Professor Glazer gives an excellent notes, which is so rare in online classes. It makes the class so much easier than reading a book on your own and trying to figure out the material. Class is well organized and prepared. I took two classes with Professor Glazer, and I would take another one if I needed.

I took micro and macro with professor Glazer, and it was great. I struggled initially, but honestly, all you need is to read his notes. I never really read the chapters in the book; instead, I just read his notes and highlighted the important stuff. The homework and quizzes are the same as the exam, so make sure you do them.

He is extremely organized but this class is difficult. The material is hard! Homework and tests are long and require hours to complete, on top of reading and studying. His notes are incredibly detailed but SO WORDY. Pages and pages of typed notes for each chapter, they really should be edited. Tough grader but overall nice guy and very responsive.

Prof. Glazer is the best teacher I've had at NCC. He's caring and will always make time for anyone who reaches out. Econ is a tricky subject, but he'll go above and beyond to help you succeed. Try to take his in-person class. Be proactive every week (don't wait to reach out to him) and you'll do great.

There's no need to read the lecture notes. For tests and homework, I recommend "ctrl + F" for the terms in the lecture notes. For discussions, re-write your own idea from previous posts. Prof. Glazer always leaves a comment if your discussion needs more detail. Also, extra credit is easy. I 1000% recommend taking his micro and macro classes!

Amazing professor! Responds very quickly to questions and is very respectful. 3 exams, 6 homework, & 6 discussion boards. Learned the principles of Macroeconomics and loved it! Checks in with students through messages twice a week and reminds everyone of deadlines. If you want to learn economics, CHOOSE THIS PROFESSOR! I know cause I just finished.

For a winter class, it was really good! It was fast paced but not impossible if you try. The notes he provided everyday were very well written out and helps you get a very good understanding. I barely used the textbook since the notes he gave were better to understand. Very clear on he grades homework also! Take this professor if you can!

Professor Glazer's ECN102 class was a great experience. The well-structured lecture notes were extremely helpful, and I barely needed the textbook. Combining them with unstuck AI for study prep made the material click. Definitely take this professor if you can!
