awesome teacher! he lets you pick your speech topics and is pretty leinent with everything else. Hes a councilor as well, so hes pretty open and tells stories and wants to hear you talk too. Highly recommended!

He's one of the easiest prof. very interesting, and motivating prof. his class is near imposible to fail. You have to make greater affort to fail then to get A. I recomend him to every1 and any1. His class is not boring i had him for a 3hr night class. And i didnt get bored so you can imagine. Very down to earth prof. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!

GREAT teacher, FUN class. Mr. Graham was extremely helpful in many ways, and I learned A TON. You will need to work hard and listen well to get a good grade, but it's not terribly hard if you really work at it. It's awesome to have a professor that loves what he's doing. He's passionate about his work (especially since he's head of the school's Speech and Debate team) so it's easy to listen to him and know he's credible. Class is never a bore. He's not a student, but he doesn't act all high and might or dull and boring. Great class, great lessons!

As long as you come to class, do the work, he is very good about grading in my opinion. Before taking this speech I was terrified of public speaking but Mr. Graham changed that..for the most part. He at least made me feel comfortable speaking in our class..Thanks Mr. Graham

He looks like Huge Laurie from house with glasses. Hes a pretty good teacher, the only problem is you get no elbow room in his class for assignments. There are not a lot of assignments in the grade book so if you miss one it can hurt you pretty bad. He has lots of extra credit opportunities but there is a cap on points you can get.

Mr. Graham was great and so was his class! I took it in a learning community. It was a great idea to have the LC because you really got comfortable with the other students. Graham was very helpful and nice. Strict when it came to speech time but it was worth it. Put in the effort and you'll get an A. Extra credit was available :)

He's nice, and all, supportive and what not, but I am taking his summer course right now, i'm like 5 points away from getting an A and he will not give extra credit. He won't budge. :/ I understand it's college and all but all my other teachers give at least 10 pts...

He is a great speech teacher. I f you go to him for help he will help you. A lot of people feel scared to go to him but don't because he is helpful and funny at the same time. If you do what he syas it works.

I love Dr. Graham! He is a really great teacher and knows what he's doing. He makes the class feel comfortable and made it way easier to talk in front of everyone. There are only two speeches and a final speech. Some tedious work in the text and taking notes, but other than that the class is pretty easy! I would definitely recommend him for speech.

I took the teacher this summer course and he was cool until he made this girl give a speech, which was a debate girl. And told the class after he wanted a speech like this. Also a lot of hw omg.. 15 to 20 pages of notes every day. You have to dress up, and ur speeches have to be 900 or 1200 words. It really sucked I ended up dropping that class.

Took him for Com 1A and so far have A! he requires a lot of notes but you get enough time to do them. For speeches, just follow the format and you'll pass. definitely catch him in his office hours to help with your papers. ONLY 3 SPEECHES!

He believes in you and wants you to succeed. He is always there to help through email or office meetings. He provides a class textbook for you if you don't have one. He pushes you to your best potential. I would take this class again, in fact, I'm taking another one of his other classes next semester. Best teacher I ever had

This class is a great class to take if you want to be successful in life. I promise you will fail in life if you do not succeed in this class! He is a great teacher he does not assign hard work and its not a lot of homework. He makes it very easy for you and gets you comfortable in class. He lets you eat in class and even has a coffee machine!

Grahams class is a great opportunity to get comfortable with public speaking. He is the best professor on campus by far to set you up for success. However, dont take his class for granted. If youre not on top of homework or skip class you will fall behind quickly so take advantage of help when he offers it, which is always.

Dr. Graham was an awesome teacher this semester. I took his 6:30am COMMST 1A class. It was hard getting up but I made it. The Training Manual was available in the bookstore for $5-$6 but had EVERYTHING laid out for the semester. There wasn't even a need to bring paper to class because most assignments we laid out in the TM.

Dr. grahams class was a great experience in public speaking, there are several group projects which you get points for. There are 3 speech outlines that are due throughout the semester, which he provides an outline that shows you exactly how it should be written. There are 15 chapters that you will take notes on and the chapters aren't too long.

I enjoyed this class immensely. Graham is a great professor and cares about his students success. There are in class debates which are fun and not something to be scared of. I am taking him again next semester and super excited to have him as a professor again. The homework load is spread out and easy to do, focus on the debate outlines.

Dr. Graham is tough on his students because he knows our potential. He takes public speaking very seriously as it is a crucial life skill. There is no wiggle room to slack off. You are going to need to be ready to put 100% effort to get an A but don't let it scare you. He is so nice and is willing to help you as much as you need. He is the best!

Dr. Graham has a heart of gold and steel, he knows what students are capable of. He is aware of our potential and because of that, wants the best for each of them. I immensely enjoyed his class as it further developed my horrible communication skills into a decent skills but because of that, I have acquired the courage to get out there.

This class environment was so open and accepting I loved going to class every day. Dr. Graham is easy to communicate with and truly wants you to succeed. As long as you engage in the classroom and participate you will get an A!!

I was not good at speaking in front of people before I took this class but now I' m a little bit better at it. Practice the speakers' triangle while you are practicing your speech. Look at your note cards if you need to so that you don't get nervous and lose your place. Sign up to see him to help with your speech or outline if you need the help.

Definitely warmed up to this professor mid semester. Hes funny and nice. You can just chill the whole semester except for three times when he assigns the three speeches. Those are the only times you gotta work hard.

I was dreading to take speech, but I ended up doing way better than I thought in Graham's class. Do your chapter notes because they are easy points, and I would recommend making deadline for choice. Don't be afraid to ask him for feedback on your outline, that's what he is there for. Graham definitely sends out good vibes in his class.

I was dreading taking speech class as I hate public speaking. But Professor Graham made it not so bad, he gave clear grading material and was very helpful with giving feedback and extra help if needed. Dr. Graham is BY FAR the best professor at delta college. He is accessible outside of class if you need it. He will try to help you as much as he can. Attendance is mandatory. If you're late you get points taken away. He is one of the most organized professors at delta college. make sure you do all your assignments and you should pass.

Prof. G was at first intimidating, but after you have proven your seriousness as a student by your first speech he warms up to you and is funny. Attendance is a major part in your attendance so don't try to skip. If you do miss a class, he encourages you to attend his other class to make up for attendance. For finals do the competition! It's EASIER

The best in his field, but I didn't even realize it until the speech tournament at the end of the semester. Graham's students killed it (its the final, we had to) while others just showed up for extra credit. There's only 2 speeches. He gives real life advice and really wants everyone to succeed and be happy. He has extra books if u cant afford it!

The best professor in Delta! I was scared taking his class but he really made it easy for me to get up and talk in front of the class. There's 3 speeches, but the last one you can basically choose your expository or persuasive to tell in front of a different crowd and record it.

Dr. Graham is Gold! He is seriously an awesome person and an even better Professor. There was never any confusion on the syllabus. You give 3 speeches during the semester and take quizzes online. He's not a tough grader but does expect you to try your hardest. All you have to do is show up, be ready and willing to learn and do the work.

Take him for public speaking while you still can. He's the best professor that makes students feel more comfortable presenting their speeches. Make sure you read the chapters for quizzes because it's tricky. There are 3 outlines, it is not that difficult but ask him if needed help. You only do 2 speeches and he's not a tough grader so take him.

Com1A 8 week course for spring was so much better than Id imagine! I registered for this class terrified as heck, but Graham took a lot of that anxiety away by making his students feel more comfortable every time we spoke in front of the class. He gives really good feedback and truly wants the best for everyone. You just have to want it yourself!

I have horrible anxiety, especially when it comes to public speaking. I signed up for his 6:30 a.m. COMST01 class after reading many reviews he was a great professor. COVID-19 hit and it made our class all online, which was good luck for me, however, I still managed to give a good speech online, and he gave amazing feedback. I recommend his class!

Show up to class and you will at least pass with C. Try a bit harder and you'll get an A. Not much work, very easy grader and gives a lot of slack to students. Has plenty office hour times also work with your schedule If needed.

I enjoyed taking Professor Graham's speech and debate class. Textbook is required but no heavy reading. He gives great feedback, and the lectures helped me understand the criteria better. He has a sense of humor which makes the class entertaining. There are group projects and assignments aren't too heavy. One of the best Professors!I recommend him!

Took him for Com 1A online because of the pandemic. His class was very well organized and made sure you were prepared for the speeches. Enjoyed doing the 2 speech assignments.

Professor Graham is the best teacher that you could have for Public Speaking. Coming from someone with social anxiety, he made the experience tolerable. He is tough, but only wants to see you succeed and grow. Beware that if you take this class online, there WILL be group work (as you will need an audience for your speech presentations).

This class was easy in my opinion, but only if you stay on top of your work and plan out everything. Only take this class if you are able to keeping up with the load. You have to read 1-2 chapters a week and take a quiz. But you will have to participate in discussions often.

Dr. Graham is probably the best public speaking professor you can hope for if you are apprehensive about speaking in public. There are a total of 3 speeches: expositional, persuasive, and the final. Make sure you pay attention to the rubric and the example speeches, this is where most of the criteria comes from. He is a very understanding grader.

He is very clear with what he needs you to do, so it was easy to follow. He is easy to get a hold of and really does help you out with anything you are struggling with.

There are 2 speeches, and you have to either do it in a Zoom call with 5 adults, or in person with 5 adults. It's really worth taking his class. I passed with an A.

Accelerated & online. You have 3 speeches total, & he helps you step-by-step for 2 of them. He has very clear grading criteria, usually grades the same day, & gives decent feedback, but peer reviews are most helpful! The course, reading, & videos are organized well. The quizzes are simple & never timed. Overall, he seems caring & accommodating!

Prof. Graham's class is well-organized and easy to follow. He gives templates to use for your speeches, you just have to fill in the blanks. I received lots of helpful feedback throughout the class. The answers for the quizzes were easy to find in the readings. The speech topics to choose from were really interesting. Stay on schedule to succeed.

Extremely well organized. He gives example outlines and one that you can just fill in and use for all your debates. He gives great feedback on debates and assignments so you know what to fix. You will need the textbook to pass quizzes but its like $10 online. He will work with you if you need help, very caring and understanding. AMAZING PROFESSOR!!

Professor Graham is an amazing professor, truly. His teachings are easy to follow and clear. I felt like he really cared for me as a student and wanted me to succeed. He has guided notes that are definitely helpful and shows many examples of what he wants from you. I wish all professors were like him cause he's the best.

Before taking this course, understand that time commitment needs to be available when taking this course. You are going to have to put in the work and effort to be successful in your outlines, speeches, and peer reviews to receive a good grade. Once the assignment is turn in make sure to do your best because the professor is a tough grader.

Prof Graham was great. This class is easy as long as you stay on top of your assignments because there is a lot due throughout the week. He also gave us zoom sessions to have audiences for our speeches which really helped me because you need a min of 5 ppl to watch your speeches and I don't have anyone lol 10/10 recommend.

He is very tedious, and it can be annoying, but also very thorough with directions. He definitely expects you to be perfect at the end of your course which can affect your grade. But overall if you just follow his directions you can pass with a high grade. I would take his class again.

Best professor I've taken at Delta, everything good you hear about him is because it's true! I struggle a lot with anxiety and was really hesitant if I'd pass the class, but Professor Graham is really understanding, and I made so much growth. I really recommend that you don't fall behind, just stay on top of everything and you should pass.

This course has a lot of work which might be overwhelming but if you create a solid schedule, you will be okay. Professor Graham grades work pretty fast and gives good feedback on assignments. You will have to do two speeches but professor Graham will help you out a lot in writing those speeches.

Great personality and every class with him talking is nice and interesting. You have two speeches you have to make and present to the class, but he walks you through every step. After the first few weeks each class is just listening to speeches with no homework but practicing/working on your speech.

I was SO nervous for this class, but Mr. Grahm is super calm and nice, which makes this class a lot less scary. He will walk you through every step to create a great speech. There are 2 major speeches that are a bug part of your grade. As long as you do ALL of the assignments and quizzes, and practice your speech, you should do good!

I had a tough semester due to some life happenings but Professor Graham was really understanding and accommodating! He just wants his students to succeed in any way possible and that means a lot to most people. His content was very easy to follow and his class overall was an easy course to take.

I fell behind due to intimidation about the first speech, missed a lot of class/assignments but after talking to him, he let me turn in my work super late so I can get credit, he offered some extra credit opportunity, and helped me perfect my speech. He doesn't make you pay for a textbook, but he has guided notes that feel really long.

Dr.G was nothing short of amazing. There is a lot of reading from the free textbook. There are also discussion posts that you will have to keep up with every week and quizzes every week but it's so easy and manageable. I used to be terrified of speaking but he makes it inspiring ,fun and relatable. If I could take him for every class I would!

Dr. G was an amazing professor! This course is short (8-week) so it may feel overwhelming but if you take the time to plan out your assignments and manage your time wisely, you'll do great.
