This seminar class is required for the AS in marketing. Even though I am not a marketing major I took the course based on having Prof Gross for MAR1011. He is a top professor who knows his stuff and cares about his students. This class uses the US Debt Clock to choose topics for written and oral presentation. Class is both fun and informative.

This is my second class with Prof Gross and it is another good class. He is one of the best lecturers at Broward College. Prof Gross wrote this course as well as MAR 3231 which are part of the BAS Marketing-Sales specialization. This is my 3rd course with him and this class is terrific. His ability to communicate and teach the concepts necessary for understanding and successfully completing the course is terrific. I highly recommend him. One of the very best! .

This course is interesting in that it revolves around the US DEBT Clock. It is a research paper seminar with presentation at class end. Presentation can be individual or build a team. This course along with MKA 2931 and 2932 is a seminar that requires a 10 to15 page paper. The paper can be your exploration of just about any topic that relates to the US economy. The only reason that I didn't get an A is because I was lazy. This was the 3rd time that I have taken Professor Gross, and I have to say that I consider him to be my mentor. This is a seminar class that deals with what is happening in today's business environment. I learned a great deal from different concepts in business and marketing. Professor Gross is AMAZING!!! Easy A, come to class, participate in class, 5 discussion, some quizzes, some assignments, and 2 (3minutes presentations) Final is group presentations (15mins) No tests!!! the final class is like a party, he brings; pizza and salad while presenting... He is Great!!

Professor Gross helped me a lot throughout the summer semester this year. He always seemed like he wanted the whole class to be involved, Participation is important, and he frequently gives long lectures but they are interesting. He will go out of his way to help you in class & as long as you do the assignments/ presentations good, you will pass!

Wow, originally I was worried that he was going to be tough but he made it so easy for everyone to get their projects done. Tests were super fair and he really puts in an effort to help every student. I was glad I took the class with him. He is a good guy. If you need this class take it with him.

This professor is great, and he was much more interactive than most online professors. I signed up for his class late, after being dropped from a few core classes that couldn't transition online due to Covid19. He gave me plenty of time to make up everything, and even dropped some material due to the stress of things. You do need to write well.

I took his 6-week online class which is a different experience than a live classroom setting. There is just a lot of homework that requires you to do a lot of background research. The professor seems great it's just the course itself that bothered me. Easy quizzes, no proctored exams but assignments and discussions are super long.

Proffesor Gross gave good feedback and I really appriciated that he only requires 3 assignments throughtout the whole course. However, the last chapter requires a 6 page essay and is a little too much for an introductory course. Overall, I learned a lot from him.
