By far the nicest and most helpful professors I've ever had.. He explains everything and if you ever have questions about anything you can email him and he will get back right away .. I'm upset I don't have him for a&p 2 .. Definitely going to miss him!! If you have the option to get in his class take it !

Dr. Haffner is an excellent professor. A great teacher. He make sure you understand the lesson he is teaching. If you have a question or concern you can email him and he'll respond promptly. His exams are very straight forward. It is not hard to get an "A" in his class. Best of all he is not strict and overbearing.

Dr. Haffner takes a complex subject and explains it in layman's terms. He teaches with personality, which makes the class fun and interesting. His outlines make reading the text much easier to comprehend. You have to prepare for his exams. They are not an easy A, but if you study you'll do fine. I would recommend him to anyone taking A&P

He's a very good teacher. Very low use of the book but you will have to study the notes that he gives which are very easy to understand and to remember.I have never used the book to study and i didn't even study that much but i have a B If you study you should be able to have an A in every test. The test are really easy and straightforward.

This professor, without a doubt, is the best professor I ever had. He makes sure you understand every topic he discusses by using very helpful examples and concepts. If you study his notes and the book, you will find his tests very easy and straight forward. I had this class on a Sunday and LOVED it b/c of the great professor he is. TAKE HIS CLASS!

Going to miss this teacher! I actually looked forward to waking up on a sunday and being in his class. His packets are very helpful as long as you go home and outline them yourself. then you would probably get a A. You have to do homework online but as long as you complete the hw you will get a good grade. I want him next semster in a and p 2!!!

Another amazing semester with professor Haffner, I had him 2 semesters in a row. I love this guy, he is the real deal. study his notes, read, study with a group and you'll pass. he has a way with teaching that makes you really visualize what he is saying. For a tough class like this you should definitely take him.

I ususally do not rate professors but Professor Haffner is an exception. He is very patient and helpful, if you do not understand a concept he will not mind to explain it again. You have to read and you have to study, but he's funny, interesting, helpful and clear. Really want him for A&P II.

He is simply the greatest. Miss a class? Make it up by going to one of his other ones. Not doing so well on the test? He curves them. Hard. The last question on each test is often "Thank god this test is over? True or false." On top of that, he gives like 10 points of extra credit. Per test. He makes a hard class about as easy as it can get.

He is a very nice guy! His tests are not too hard if you study. He does curve points on the test which helps a lot. He also is great with analogies and his packets for lecture and lab are very helpful. He is by far the BEST AP 1 teacher i've had. He made everything so easy to understand. I got an A in his class. What an AMAZING professor. He really helps you get through this class. His notes and powerpoints are so helpful. He even goes the extra mile to print out a lecture outline that is basically all the notes you need. The tests are clear and straight to the point and he tells you pretty much exactly what will be on both lecture and lab tests.

There really isn't enough space on here to truly express my admiration and gratitude for Dr. Haffner! I took him this past spring and he is truly a phenomenal professor. He is always available for extra help and usually curves tests too. He truly goes above and beyond for his students and is so kind and caring. I ended up with an A- Thanks Dr. H!

The first semester I took professor haffner I thought he was pretty good. I have to tell you that after taking another professor and seeing that anatomy and physiology can be made even harder I have come to appreciate professor haffner even more. Hes the best, he gets more tensed about our test then us ! Hes so nice and caring and understands how tough it is for people who work and go to school. Just make sure to go to class and study the notes/models. The guy in the a&p part of the libary will show u what slides r most likely on the lab test. Read the text book once but focus on his notes

Great Professor! Super Easy as long as you study those lecture notes. Lab can be a but tricky but just study the list and you'll be fine.

The absolute BEST anatomy teacher at Nassau! I dropped A&P 1 the first time around because of a terrible professor. He has everything from class accessible on blackboard and easily reachable! His tests are very straight forward - study all his notes and you will do great! Anatomy is a hard class but Haffner makes it easier to learn.

He makes A and P easy to pass if you work for it. Caring, will repeat, or clarify the information. Gives a project ( extra credit 21 points ), online videos and handouts, online exercises is an extra 100 test grade but does not count it as one. With him, you know what to expect. Does not mark wrong if the spelling is a little off. A real gem in NCC

Prof. Haffner is honestly the best professor at NCC and he is very nice and understanding. I had him for A&P 1 Lab as long as you study and put in the effort you will pass the class with an A+. I highly recommend taking him I was upset I when heard he wasn't teaching A&P 2 in 2022.

Dr. Haffner is an amazing teacher and I would take him again in a heartbeat! I could write for days about what a great teacher he was, but theres a limit to the text here. He does so much of the work for the students and gives outlines and videos of exactly what to study. Hes very clear when teaching and almost no book use. Great over all guy.

I couldn't have asked for a better professor for anatomy 131. He's very understanding, patient, grades fairly, wants you to PASS! A very nice guy and helps bring your grade up at the end of the semester with participation and extra credit from doing the homework that takes 10 mins. (which counts as an extra grade)

Dr.Haffner is absoulutley the best proffessor at nassau community college. He is understanding, GOOD at what he does, and actually cares. He wont give you the easy way out, you have to put in the work. But he makes it easy to want to try hard! Would absolutley take him again and again!! I took him for Anatomy and Physiology and he is so knowlegable

He is here for you. He wants you to learn and to pass. For example, I had an extremely difficult time with my lecture while I had him for lab and he gave me his lecture videos. He will let you know what you have to know for your tests and will guide throughout your semesters. Highly recommend taking his classes

BEST PROFESSOR ON EARTH! All professors should take after Professor Haffner! i wish he taught all my classes! Pay attention, do the homework b/c they help & do the extra credit. It will help your grade! It was such a smooth semester. I highly recommend this professor if you struggle with science, b/c he teaches in a way for you to understand it.

Dr. Haffner is AMAZING. If I could have him as a professor for every single class I would. He made such a difficult course so easy and enjoyable. As long as you follow along in put in the effort you're supposed to then you will do fine. He is very flexible and easy going.

Professor Haffner is incredible. I took A&P 2 with him during the summer session and he was so kind and understanding. He was also willing to explain and go over concepts more than once if we were confused. His exams were very straightforward.

Professor Haffner was one of the top best sufficient and fluent professor with outstanding proficient teaching skills. He is very clear and direct with the grading criteria. He is very informative and helpful with any questions you have, There is no wrong, or stupid questions in his class. He is definitely worth registering for his class.

Dr. H is one special professor and I was so lucky to be his student. A&P is nerve-wracking enough but he breaks down the material to make your life easier. Studying is required though, you won't do well if you don't study. Please take him you won't regret it. This was my favorite class and professor ever, please don't ever retire Dr. Haffner!!!

Dr. H was a great instructor for AHS 131, he wanted the best for his students and would clarify anything that was confusing. His PowerPoints are helpful for he test. Study and you will be fine!

Easy! Take Hafner and you will get through it with a great grade without having to overwork. Stick to what he has in his notes and nothing more. You can take other classes with him and you will still have a good time. good luck.

Dr. Haffner is the best professor I've ever had. All he wants is for his students is to get an A in the class. He provides lecture outlines that make lecture tests straight forward and he gives lab checklists for an easy 100. He is funny and a sweet guy.I definitely recommend Dr. Haffner and I wish all professors were like him.

This was a hard course filled with information but Dr. Haffner is the best your going to get for this class. He is amazing and if I could have him teach every single class I ever had to take I would. During my experience at NCC, this was the best professor.. before I had a lot of trouble with science let alone anatomy, which can be very challenging for many. He made me start to love science, helping you understand very challenging topics. I also took him for AHS132 and got an A as well. Would recommend anyone taking anatomy to take his class!

The class was tough but this professor is amazing and very fair. I had him for lecture and I felt he was very clear with the structure of how the exams would be.

I had Professor Haffner for a&p 1; he is truly an amazing professor. A&P is a difficult course itself but he makes it understandable. He provides checklists on what you need to study which is tremendously helpful for his lab exams. Follow his checklist and study his handouts and you will do fine. Take him you won't regret it!

Anatomy & Physiology is a tough class with tons of concepts but Professor Haffner is amazing! He gives great analogies to help you understand the material. I am praying to get him for Anatomy & Physiology 2

Professor Haffner's A&P class is challenging, but he breaks down concepts clearly. Utilizing Unstuck AI alongside the textbook and his checklists is a game-changer. Definitely take this course with him if you can.

Great, lecture is alot but breaks it down simply, gives extra credit, tests r straight forward, doesn't trick u, accessible outside of class, compassionate & wants all to succeed, does his part & gives everyone a fair chance but u do have to study & do ur part, hard but he made it simple, had him for AP 1 & 2, got A both times, won't disappoint!
