Dr. Jones really works hard to show how calculus is actually used in real life, which makes for a much more interesting math class. He makes sure his students understand what he's teaching, clearly explaining any confusing topics and giving great, clear answers to any questions. His tests aren't too bad if you actively pay attention during class.

Best math professor ever. Such a kind, caring man, and has a true gift for teaching math. Anyone could understand his lectures. He teaches so that you never forget it. The homework he assigns is really helpful and interesting too. Don't plan on relying on the textbook much in this class. His lectures are all you need to understand the material.

I liked Dr. Jones a lot, but I didnt feel that the rest of the reviews on here adequately outlined his weaknesses. He is mysterious about what is on the tests (no practice exams), but if you re-work the homework its an easy A. I also didnt like how he tried to explain things that left many more confused, rather than just telling us how to do it.
