Oh my goodness Professor Koch is sooo boring! I went to all the classes for the first exam, and got a 94, never went to classes again, and got 93 & 91 on the subsequent exams. His exams are 3X multiple choise questions, and 1-2 short answers. In addition to being boring, he's also fairly cocky, and favors annoying students that talk A LOT.

Professor Koch has decades of experience under his belt. He knows what he is talking about, which makes his class interesting. He rarely took attendance, grades were based on homework assignments, two quizzes, and two tests. There were extra credit opportunities available as well. Overall, great professor and an interesting class.

He was always enthusiastic about teaching and a chill man to talk to. But this was one of the most disorganized classes I have ever taken. We could not see our grades the whole semester leading everyone to question their standing in the class constantly. The ta was no help, he would not answer any of our emails throughout the whole semester.

This class is straight forward and there is not much work outside of class besides studying. You will pass this class if you takes notes and study the in class reviews. Despite your grade not being posted, it is very easy to go to grade calculator and type in your scores manually. Professor Koch is wonderful, highly recommend taking this class!

His test reviews are the only important thing that happens in class. Sometimes he says make sure to study for example the "sales model" as it will be on the test, only for it to not be on the test. Exams are worth 80% of your grade, so getting an A is tricky despite studying heavily for the test as some topics may not have been mentioned in class.

Very disorganized. He gave us the wrong midterm not once but twice…. TA never answered emails. Both the TA and professor couldn't connect mindtap to canvas which led to people not being able to access hw. This should be a fairly easy subject yet he managed to make it difficult.

He has test reviews where he tells you what's going to be on the test which is nice but this class has had way to many things that went wrong. The first was giving us the spring syllabus, then it was us not being able to access the hw, then it was him giving us the wrong test. Also us not being able to see our grade.

Prof Koch was amazing! Even though his lectures are reading off the slide, he has tons of real-world experience related to the material. He reviews what exactly to study a few classes before the quiz/exam that WILL be on the test. He has different versions, so some materials he may speak of wouldn't be there. He also gives out extra credit surveys!

2 quizzes for 5% each, 2 midterms for 25% each, 1 final for 30%, HW for 10%. He gives good reviews before each quiz/test, so if you study based on those you will get a good grade. He can ramble a little, but his lectures are good.

Test heavy, study concepts, definitions, and examples since test questions aren't straightforward. Only find it important to come to test review days, lectures are pretty much read from slides.

Professor Koch was great! During his lectures he gave us so many real life examples of things that made it easy for the material to stick with me. He also has an impressive background in working for major marketing firms. I felt like I really was learning from the best! A big chunk of the grade is based on the midterm exams so make sure to study!

Lectures make the material seem easy, but exam questions are designed to create confusion. He doesn't update Canvas until the very end of the semester, so you won't know your grades until then. Exams are face-to-face with Scantron which makes it harder.

Tests are taken in person and were proctored. Yes, with people walking around. Honestly a pretty boring class, professor just yaps about lame stories and Flexes his cars on college students smh. A lot of memorization. I failed the first quiz and midterm, then figured out how to pass the class. Honestly not too hard, if you know what your doing. Gl

Awesome and engaging lectures. He has tons of real-world experience that he recounts and overall he's a chill guy. Nearly all of the stuff on exams and quizzes is covered in lectures. The whole grade you get consists of 2 exams, 2 quizzes, and one final.

This class was one of the one classes i struggled in here at my time at the University of Houston. He based his class off of 2 quizzes, a Midterm, and a Final Exam. There is no homework, no research papers like mentioned in his previous classes he has had prior to his spring 2025 classes. There were many other students who struggled in this class.

He is a nice and funny guy. He enjoys what he does which makes going to class not bad. I never missed a day and still make 70 on quiz and tests somehow. There are only 2 quiz, 2 midterm, and a final and that is all you're graded on. Everything is done on scantron in class. STUDY!!!

Great prof, talks a lot but his lectures are usually interesting and easy to follow along. The only grades in the class are quizzes and tests, so make sure to do well on them. A week before the tests, he will tell you exactly what will be on the test, so make sure to at least attend that class.

He is a fun professor. His course was good but I wouldn't say easy. He only assigns 2 in person quizzes, 2 midterms, and 1 final. You have to do good on those since those are the only things he grades. He gives a review before the exam in class. Lectures are just him readding off his pp and he post those on canvas. I recommend taking him.

Nice person but there are only two quizzes, two midterms, and one final, making it more difficult to bring up your grade if you bomb the first quiz. Didn't really study, just used quizlet sets that were already made.
