The best teacher I have ever had. If you ask a question he answers your question with such clarity, and explains his answer so well that he not only answers your question, but gives you a history lesson in the process. I suggest you take his course even if you aren't interested in german.

This funny and brilliant professor genuinely enjoys teaching! During the first classes, I was really insecure, but he kept encouraging me. It doesn't take a genius to excel in a class when the teacher WANTS you to succeed. He doesn't seem to like cats, though. I wonder what's up with that...

This is the class for you if you want language, culture and linguistics rolled into one. His starting point is that English came from a Germanic language. Rather than traditional tests, everything is menu driven. We chose which assignments to complete. It makes me want to do more and learn more.

Prof. Konopacki is awesome. He made the class amazing! I am now a grammer nut, and have switched my major from Psychology to Foreign Language Combination because of this guy. Great, great teacher. I can't say enough.

Dude, I strongly recommend this class for anyone wanting to learn German or just have a fun teacher. He is very intellectual, teaches with such accuracy, and has an awesome menu driven course. No other teacher compares! Wir leben dich Steve-O!

I'm personally biased towards professor Konoapacki because I had him in High School for German. He is probably one of the best German Professors in the U.S., If no the world. You'll enjoy his class. Highly recommended to all who are interested in learning a 2nd or third language.

I really can't say enough positive things about this wonderful teacher! His teaching style is wonderful. His personality is great. If you can make grammar interesting, you must be doing something right! :)

Konopacki is just kewl as HELL!!!! Lit can be pretty boring but he made it fun and I learn a lot of new vocab. 3 to 4 Exams and a few papers not to bad overall though. Just attend class and you will have no problem passing. Will help you if needed.

Dr. Konopacki is the best prof I have ever had. He knows his stuff and brings us into his thoughts about the subject. If you want literature, look around you at life he says. He IS right. What we're reading is fantastic. Readling load is ok, writing reaction papers is a bit tricky. Ask him about anything and he will help. Great guy.

Dr. Konopacki was a great teacher. He is very enthusiastic about his subject and makes learning fun. When I first took this class I thought I would struggle, but he makes it easy. Just do your work, read the stories, and try not to miss any days. If you do that you will be fine.

It is because of professors like Konopacki that I am going into teaching. He is extremely into his job and makes the students want to read and they enjoy the discussions and readings...I've never seen anything like it. He is awesome and I highly reccommend him. I took him for American Literature after 1865.

Out of all the professor's at PBCC, he has been the most helpful, intersting, outgoing and respectful teacher i've taken. The class is straightforward. You read the stories, do your assignments and you pass. Simple as that. Dr. K is a great professor, i would recommend him to anyone! :) Enjoy!!!

Konopacki is an amazingly knowledgable teacher who has a great love for the subjects he teaches. He is very fair and even if you don't care for the subject makes it interesting. It's not hard work, but you certainly are learning.

Dr. K is awesome guy. He is friendly and always willing to help if you have questions. He is VERY strict about attendance. You will have homework almost every class, but it is not difficult and gets easier as it progresses. That may sound bad now, but trust me, this is one of the best professors I've had. I wish all professors were this good.

If you fail his class it's your own fault, especially if the class is AML 2020. I might be biased because he nominated me for an award, but still, one of the best teachers I ever had.

A great teacher all around. Taught German better than I could have hoped, very clear and very approachable. Had a friend taking his ENC1101 who put it well when I asked him how his other classes were, "Well, you know, I don't like English class, but it's Dr. K so it's still great."

Dr. Konopacki was one of the greatest teachers I have had in my entire academic career. He was helpful, caring and extremely intellectual with his craft. He taught me how to become a better writer, and to improve on skills that I was not too good at, as well as appreciating the work that I did do well. Got all A's on all of the essay assignments.

Professor Konopacki is probably the best teacher I've taken yet at PBCC. If you want to learn how to right well and effectively you should take him! He teaches very useful techniques and gives you a chance to correct any answers on your papers if you submit a rough draft. Never a dry moment. No book usage. I got an A+

Dr. Konopacki has a way of breaking down hard concepts. He also teaches things insteps & cont. to offer all the help he can until you understand the material. He continously makes himself available after class,via email or office.which happen to be the most effective in helping me to learn. He always provides motivation to learn & doing your best.

Took this teacher for 1101, I was already a decent writer, but his methods improved me greatly! He teaches and enjoys it. He wants you to pass and gives you plenty of chances. There is no reason why anybody should have anything less than a A in this class.

I was a little intimidated before taking this course. Dr. K is an amazing professor his class is very helpful. I highly recommend his class. He sets the class up for you to get an A. He likes all of his students.

I took ENC 1101 and ENC 1102 with Dr. K. The teaching methods of Dr. K. exceeds by far that of other professors. Yes, he challenges the intellect of his students, and no he does not favor procrastination, laziness nor tardiness, but at the end of a semester, one will have fairly learned more than enough to face the academic and professional world.

Teaches very professionally, explains stuff really well. His assignments are not hard but not easy. He's very helpful and tells you what to write exactly. Try your best not to miss any class cause he teaches something new each class.

Dr.Kono, is basically AMAZING. When I say his class is easy I don't mean it's an easy A with no effort, but he makes writing become second nature to you that every assignment he give you seems like cake. He is a great way to kill 2 birds with one stone due to his combo class and provides multiple resources that you will use in future courses.
