This has been on e of the best classes I have ever taken. Through class discussion Professor Lindstrom guided the class and made the students look at the information in new and different ways to bolster learning and understanding.I recommend this class wanting to truly learn the basics of Tactical Intelligence.

Professor Lindstrom teaches a challenging IS 315 course that forces a student to learn and develop. This was a tough, but manageable course and one that I am glad I took because I learned so much and am a much better student because of it. The professor provides clear, focused feedback and is very helpful. Definitely a class I recommend taking.

Awesome. Incorporates relevant and appropriate material. Open-ended questions allow students to expound on the course material through interpretation and experience. Provides timely and extremely thorough feedback. Highly recommended for anyone serious about actually learning something in college. I would gladly take a class with him again.

Class is great. You will work hard but you will learn a lot. You will get out of it what you put into it. Prof is extremely helpful and prompt. Syallbus is clear with clear and reasonable guidelines.

Professor Lindstrom did a great job in the Open Source Collection course. He provides useful feedback and helps to make each student feel that they are an integral part of the overall class success. There are a few professors there that could learn something by his example. I certainly recommend his course.

Professor L is one of the best professors that I have ever had. His approach to teaching in the virtual environment is refreshing and spot on. He is very helpful and willing to work with ALL students and their specific issues.

He is a great teacher. Although I had to drop his class due to medical reasons, I will enroll with him again in the near future. He is always available to the students and makes time for all of your questions in a timely manner. He is among the best of the best at AMU and each student would benefit from him and the class' content.

Professor Lindstrom, is good to go. Out of all the professors I have had at AMU he is one of the top. While his course is intense and difficult it is well worth it. Additionally, Professor Lindstrom works very well with his students.

This proffesor is amazing! I learned so much and he was incredibly patient with all of my questions. He was part of the discussions and helped steer you in the correct direction in a way that didn't make you feel like a moron. If I ever have the opportunity to take another class with Lindstrom, I'll jump at it!

An excellent and knowledgable Professor, who knows the subject matter. The course entailed a lot of reading and a final paper that some may consider long, but was managable as long as you kept up with the course requirements.

For the most part, online college is an easy way to simple "Check the Box" on a résumé. Mr. Lindstrom is considerably invested in students creating quality products and this was an extremely worthwhile class.

Dr. L. is by far the best instructor I have had while taking classes at AMU. He is quick to respond and very thorough. He does not give you a grade that you do not earn. If you want to learn HUMINT, he is the best, but make sure you pay attention. You will take out what you put in.

This class was not easy. Prof. L provides great timely feedback and expects for you to challenge your peers in the discussion boards. His feedback is thorough. Listen to his feedback, incorporate it, then compare your first paper with your last and notice the difference. No question, one of the best instructors.

Excellent Professor, I would recommend him over any of the professor I've taken classes from thus far. In my particular case, Professor Lindstrom work with me on a number of cases while simultaneously holding me to AMU standards. Professor Lindstrom was a fantastic professor in my HUMINT class. The final course project was interesting and and involved. The course was writing intensive but manageable, and Professor Lindstrom was always willing to help when needed.

Professor Lindstrom was extremely helpful and made the class much easier to understand and enjoy. While considerably more strict than others, he made sure to communicate exactly where improvement was needed and helped to foster growth. I believe I have learned more in these 8 weeks than I have in the past few semesters combined. Recommend!

Each week, Prof Lindstrom would provide feedback to initial posts to all students. If the student was missing information , Prof Lindstrom would ask probing questions to elicit additional information. Grading feedback was also very helpful in understanding the grade and providing both hit and miss information to ensure improvement if needed.

One of the best instructors at AMU. He has an incredible work load (I think he taught two classes) and yet found time to grade and comment that shows he actually read the material and offered individual and constructive commentary.

I've been a student at AMU for almost 8 years and I have yet to encounter a professor like Steven Lindstrom. As I live a highly flexible lifestyle, communication with him is key and he will try his best to help. If you're expecting an easy A, this isn't the guy for you. If you're expecting a quality education, you've found the right person.

Great Professor

Dr. Lindstrom provides an adequate amount of assignments and readings. Enough for you to learn but not too much that you feel like you are drowning. Nice having a break from having to write papers for assignments and doing PPT projects instead. The criteria for one project was vague but immediately upon request he provided a better explanation.

Professor Lindstrom uniquely interacts with each student and provides feedback that stimulates cognitive thinking. I really enjoyed taking this class!

Teacher was extremely knowledgeable and provided clarity when needed. The reading information provided in this course was on topic and provided better insight into the week's topic. Course was not an overload but the assignments were manageable and well presented for clarity.

One of the best Professors I have had at AMU! Excellent interaction during our weekly discussion post. Use course materials, as well as the use of other ancillary course materials during the course, greatly enhanced the overall learning experience and added to the overall learning experience.

INTL 422 was a great class. I have taken Lindstrom's classes before and I am taking his class again for a third time. Not an easy A but if you try you'll get an A.

I have taken his classes a few times and hes a fair professor. There is no reason you can't get a good grade, just do what is required and you should get an A or a B.

Great instructor. I will definitely take again. An A or B is reasonably easy as long as you do the work. The paper assignments in this class were more interesting than the usual "write 6-8 pages answering this question"

Three years with AMU and I can say He is the BEST Professor. Extremely knowledgeable, supportive and caring. I enjoyed his class so much and learned massive information in the subject. Professors like him make college so much more meaningful and productive. I can not praise him enough..

The Human Intelligence course was amazing. Prof. Lindstrom is a great teacher that was accessible at any time and gave great feedback on assignments and forum posts. He was rather hands-off and didn't micro manage the students in the forums. I would fully recommend him to anyone and would love to take another class from him.

One of the best. Dr. Lindstrom kept us informed, replied to messages quickly, and showed a high level of caring for students. He requires that you apply yourself, but gives clear guidelines for grading and excellent feedback on papers (even color codes), and encourages further research. Highly recommended for those taking their education seriously.

Professor Lindstrom is one of the better instructors I've experienced. He gave thorough feedback on assignments and asked appropriate follow-up questions in the forums; unlike some that have a canned response. I would highly recommend his classes. It is easy to get an A, although he is not an easy professor; just follow the requirements.

Professor Lindstrom grades more rigidly, but provides great feedback on assignments that are submitted. He is also very easy to work with when it comes to deadlines and assistance due to extraneous circumstances that come up. I would take this class again with him.

Class consisted of weekly DB posts (250 words) and replies (2x 150 words). Also a progress assignment (6-page essay) and final project (3-5 page essay and powerpoint). With 100 SH completed, Prof. Lindstrom is easily one of my top 3 favorite professors I've ever taken. You can really tell he's engaged and actually involved. Highly Recommend!!

I ended up being operationally deployed for a little over half the class, and Professor Lindstrom was so easy to work with! He was such a lifesaver; he allowed me the extra month extension and I was able to get the work done! He is very personable and understanding, and very easy to reach through email.
