Mr Misner has an incredible mind for math. He looks like Jeff Foxworthy. Very good teacher. Explains an idea in complex terms first, then for the 95% of the class who didn't understand he breaks it down for them.

I really think Professor Misner is a very good teacher. He starts from the beggining for the people that have been out of school a long time. I'm taking him again next year, yes he makes corny jokes and I don't share his political point of view. He did get me to understand algebra thats what counts

Mr. Misner is not only a cutie, but he is an awesome teacher as well. I never could understand math until I met him. He makes class fun and he actually maked me understand. He is down to earth and a great teacher for math. I am taking him for my Math Prep 2 class, thats how highly I think of him!!:)

I think Mr. Mizner is great. I have him for math prep 2 on monday nights, for three hours! He definatly keeps me awake. Anyway I hate math and can't understand it to save my live. 2 classes with Mr. Misner and I'm finally getting it! great teacher!

Good and funny

Misner is an awesome teacher. He is really fast and sometimes hard to follow; however he does say, "If you don't understand it then ask." He doesn't mind going over something until you get it. He has taught me more math and any other prep teacher I know and he is available to help.

I took Mr. Misner's class for the 12 (not 16 week) semester. Very fast - but he had to be for the alloted time. After explaining each new problem he'd ask if anyone had any questions - if not he'd go on. He is very accommodating and fair. You can get a good grade if you use the Math Lab-so use it!

This guy is good. He shows you math is not about a bunch of numbers and letters, but is about the PROCESS.He is very whitty too. Funny jokes.

If u're thinking of any pre math take him he is greeeaaaaaaat! Mr. Misner is a sweetheart!

I have major number issues and Mr. Misner made Algebra easy to understand and easier to do. He's always willing to help and gives his students great confidence in their math abilities. He actually made math class fun, he reminds me a little of Jim Carrey. Great teacher, very highly reccomended. A definite asset to PBCC.

Mr. Misner is a wonderful teacher. After being out of school for 17 years he made this class fun and the learning easier. Not so stressful. Very important to use the lab.

One of the greatest math teachers ive ever had, i suck at math but he made it so easy to understand. you should def take him, he is great a little weird, but great overall PSP: Turn off your cell if you dont like pop quizes

i have never understood math...EVER and this is the best math TEACHER i have ever had. he makes it as fun as possible. i'll tell everyone to take his class and e-mail the DOE.

Mr. Misner is the best math teacher. He has an excellent method of making algebra easy to learn so you do understand it. He also incorporates a lot of humor during class too! Highly Recommended for any math course!

i hated algebra he made it my favorite class and my best subject that should say enough. the class is fun and fast paced he's a little hyper but he will calm it down if you need him too. always willing to help if you need it i can't say enough good things about him

BASIC ALGEBRA 2: He is very sarcastic and has a dry sense of humor which he uses throughout the class. Deep down, he seems like a good guy, and is actually very helpful. He is the FIRST MATH teacher I have ever learned ANYTHING from. Unfortunatly, he doesn't teach higher math classes or I'd take him. He is GREAT. def funny pessimism towards math!

Great teacher, makes the evening classes enjoyable. Will go over material again, if you need him too.Sometimes teaches the material differently than how it's covered in the textbook. This for me, has made a world of difference. He is the first teacher i've had that helped me make heads and tails out of Algebra. Will definately take him again.

Im not really a math guy, but steves a cool dude and makes learning fun and easy. i look forward to going to his class and taking more in the future!

I'm not a big fun of math, but prof. Misner changed my mind (at least during his classes). He is the kind of professor that likes to teach, not the ones that thinks he should be smarter than the students. I would love to take another class with him!

Before Prof Misner I could not catch on to math for anything so I turn my head. Now I am actually learning and enjoy it. He is the best. I chose him ag ain for the next semester Basic Algebra 2

Great personality! Makes a hard subject easy to bare because he has a since of humor. Goes over homework problems, answers questions, will stop during teaching to answer questions, like class interaction, lets out early if material is covered. Talks fast sometimes but just ask him to repeat and he will! I took his prep 1 and prep 2 algebra class.

I had Misner for my prep.2 Algebra class. He knows what he's doing. High energy, sometimes spastic but overall a great teacher. He is not even a little afraid to make sure EVERYONE understands the material. His tests are much easier then the homework. Take him but dont look down while hes writing, you'll miss it.

Personally I think he is a really good professor. He may go a little fast at times but he's more than happy to slow it down when asked. He will stay after class with you if you're not getting something. He was semi-lenient on his tests. I wish he taught Intermediate and College Algebra. I will miss him!

Misner rocks!! He is a very good professor. He goes over things until everyone in the class has caught on. Some say he talks fast but he teaches so well it doesn't matter! Plus he does show you over and over again so it's great. He loves food, any kind, coffee, & smoking. Take him food! His personality is great and you will learn!

Professor Misner teaches fast but efficiently. He will not move on until everyone in the room understands the topic. He teaches you a new way to look at math (HIS way). Often times, his way way of learning is superior to the book and makes learning Algebra a breeze. Highly recommended!

This man is wonderful I wish he teach more then just pre classes if your not to good in math he is your man and keeps everyone laughing, great personality always happy and gives you alot of hands on help. Doesn't just send you to the learning lab if you don't understand

A great professor for Prep I which are studens that traditonally have not performed well in Math. He is very thorough and explains in various styles in order to reach the all the students. Lots of homework in order to help you practice and he will rework problems with you. He is also very helpful if you have math anxiety.

I absolutley loved Prof. Misner and his way of teaching! He has a great sense of humor and never boring! I enjoyed his class and wished he taught higher level math classes.

Professor Misner is AWESOME :) I am currently in his Prep 1 class and hated Algebra before him..now I can't wait to go to class. Great sense of humor and really nice! He makes sure he teaches to all of the different types of learners and won't move forward until you get it. Definitely take him! You won't regret it! Easy tests too :)

Professor Misner makes math fun, calms anxieties, goes over anything you need to go over, no matter how long it takes or how many times it takes until you get it. He's hilarious, patient, and a math WHIZ. Definitely recommend him. :)

Ms. Misner is a great teach. He show ways to make math very eazy to understand. Kinda funny, very helpful, understanding and keeps it real. If you're not good in math, I would choose him.

if you want 2 learn math then he is the teacher to take. if you want 2 learn math while not being bored out of your mind , then he is the teacher to take. if you want 2 have fun learning math and have the light bulb turn on then he is the teacher 2 take. if you want 2 get by and pass w/the lowest grade to move on and have no idea take someone else

Mr. Misner is a great teacher takes each math problem step by step which is what helps me. Will be taking him for prep 2. He is an awesome teacher if you like math in a step by step process take Mr. Misner's class

Simply the best math teacher I ever had. He loves Math and is funny and very energetic, but also explains things in a very down to earth no BS fashion for those of us who dont. Def would recommend him to anyone.

Misner's a bit quirky but he's a stand up guy. He's a good teacher, taking his time to make sure everyone's on the same page and answering any of the questions you may have. I wish he taught higher level math.

Good teacher, he explains problems several different ways and times if needed. Must have a book because it's needed. I spent a lot of time at the lab (well worth it). You must study, but test are fair.

He is a highschool teacher as well so he knows how to break down a problem so that you can understand it. Uses real life situations as well to help you understand the problem and how to get the solution(Ex: Bank accounts for + and - problems) Take him he is great. Uses the text book a lot

Prof Misner is a great teacher and he does talk fast but he will help you understand if you ask. Need to do the homework because its for your advantage to practice. Be organized and take the homework you don't understand to the math lab and you should honestly pass his class. He makes the tests easier than the actual homework

Misner is by far the BEST math teacher ever. He explains everything thoroughly and goes step by step to every problem. It's easy to understand the way he teaches because he is very clear. Also a very funny guy and that makes you want to participate more! If you need to take developmental algebra, THIS IS THE TEACHER TO TAKE THAT CLASS WITH.

Professor Misner is beyond the best teacher, I don't understand how anyone can give him a bad review. He explains the material thoroughly. If you need help just ask and he will be glad to go back and repeat all the steps of the problem with you. He makes the class interesting with his jokes. If you need to take intermediate algebra, he is your guy.

Wow! I honestly don't think I've ever been excited about math until Prof. Misner. He does three chapters per class. He goes through each chapter detail by detail. He provides laughter while you learn. He turns a boring math problem into fun. He is very attentive should you need help! Most of all, you are guaranteed to learn something before depart!

Misner was great -fast paced due to the amount of material that has to be covered. Takes it easy on test goes over all problems to be expected. Will review problems with you. Encourages use of the math lab. Requires homework and test to be done. Quite funny and has a plethora of short cuts, tricks or tips to help you remember how to work problems.

Professor Misner is the best professor I have ever had. His level of understanding makes the course extremely easy to understand, and he presents it in an absolutely hilarious manner. He will go over the problems as much as you need, but it will never feel like he's beating it to death. If you need a refresher or need this to move on he's golden

Misner was amazing and so helpful. He really took his time to make sure everyone understood the material. we used the textbook in every class but it was very helpful. He's hilarious & very personable. He grades extremely fair & gives you plenty of time to turn in your work. Also plus side he gets rid of tests & puts more emphasis on HW. Great prof.

Professor Misner is a really good instructor. He wants his students to pass and makes sure you understand the information. He encourages questions and will give examples over and over until you get it! More than fair grader and gives plenty of time to complete homework.
