He is very nice and understanding of peoples personal lives. He is a great teacher who really cares. You will be asked to write essays but if you can put a sentence together you will get an A. Be prepared to participate in class.

Nice guy, easy class, simple tests, very lenient. I took the CTV class which was cake. Do some reading, take a few tests, write some papers, no biggie. He grades SOO SOO easy. If you want an easy A, take this class. He's also very nice.

Class is pretty easy, but a lot of work. Tests are multiple choice and long essay. 3 tests during the semester and 3 papers plus a mock trial. As long as you put in the time, it is an easy "A".

I wouldn't say this is a easy A. Lots of work. Many chapters to read for test, and several papers that are several papers. However, he is such a nice guy, and good instuctor that a good grade is possiable.

This teacher gives work, he also has fairly difficult test, but you learn a hell of a lot. He is a very understanding teacher and knows a lot. He never chooses a side and he lets the students do all the talking.

Good teacher. Lots of fun. Got me interested in a subject I was not interested in. Does a Mock Supreme Court Trial, which is fun. Especially if you have a few loud mouth hot heads in your class, just sit back and watch them fight! His tests were sort of difficult; at times I didn't remember learning some of the stuff he was testing us on. Got a B!

Obviously passionate about subject, but makes students think about what their views are. Open debates in most class periods, never pushes views on anyone.

I went into this class not knowing a whole lot and then came out of it understanding so much more. I was the one explaining thigns to people. Hes great about making sure everyone gets the material. He didnt move on in our class until he was sure we all understood. He never gives his views either, its all about the class. GREAT TEACHER!!

I took Polisc 150 last fall. When I signed up for this class I had no interest in the subject, it was just a mandatory class. I ended up enjoying this class, and learned a lot about my political views. Mr. Reti is a great teacher and tries to get the whole class involved in discussions, even the hair twirlers.

SO SO SO helpful! I had a huge family crisis during the class and he was really understanding and helpful through the entire thing. He's a good teacher and his assignments aren't difficult, but you still learn. I took the class online, but I imagine he'd be great in a lecture course too.

I took him online. There is one assignment a week where you have to search the book to define terms/answer ?. One discussion board a week. There are 3 papers and tests,and they are all essay format (3 pages), based on the topic assigned. He is easy, as long as you remember to keep up.

I am currently taking his class online and I love it! He is one of the nicest professors I have ever had! Totally understanding - will you an extention if you need it, you can always turn in late assignments and still get credit. Very clear instructions on what is wants in the assignments. Interesting subject, great class discussions, I took the pace class, so show up to all class meetings because there can be review, do the paper and study for the tests it goes by fast and you will get and A if you apply yourself (MUST READ THE BOOK)

One of the greatest teachers; the best of the bests. Although I hate politics, he made it so interesting that I was impatient to get to his class each time. He teaches so that you realize you actually do know stuff about politics. Very easy going and very interesting class. You will never get bored in his class.

This class was different than other online classes I took. There are absolutely NO exams or quizzes. It is just purely 1 essay due every Thursday night. The topics are very broad/easy, and they are usually 2 pages double spaced. It is very do-able. There are also weekly forum/discussions. Again, very easy. He grades very easy on the essays!

I took this class online as a Pre-Req I needed to fulfill. I had ZERO interest in this course. But Dr. Reti is a very good teacher! Very helpful, grades in a good amount of time, gives assignment feedback. Never used to the textbook, it's all common sense and he provides powerpoints so don't waste your money! Very easy to get an A.

DON’T BUY THE BOOK!! I didn’t and I never once needed it! I got a B and for someone who HATES politics I’m very happy with that grade. The essay topics can be hard/time consuming but as long as you give an opinion Reti will give you a good grade. There is a lot of work involved but for those that need it take it with Reti!!

Took his online class and learned a lot! Make sure to do every assignment & discussion board & you will pass! Class requires extra time to read & do research but you will learn a lot! If you are stuck or need help he will meet with you in person which is great, take advantage! Would recommend the class!

Professor Reti is a really cool teacher. I took this class online, and the criteria is expected. Just do the discussion boards, and do your assignments due Thursday, and you'll most likely get an A. This professor even uploads videos to YouTube of himself explaining the assignments each week, and what he expects from the assignments. Take it!

Amazing professor! He does give multiple essay assignments, but if you answer the questions you'll do fine. I got 95s and 100s on all my essays. He's amazing! I e-mailed him a couple times with questions/concerns, and he replied right away. Very nice, polite, and made the class interesting. I seriously considered changing my major! Would recommend!

This class is easy if writing is a strong skill for you. There weren't any tests involving memorization in the book. All of the assignments and "exams" are written essays. 2 writing assignments due a week with multiple prompts for each. Each prompt can be anywhere from 4 paragraphs to 2-3 pages. 1 discussion question a week as well. Overall, easy.

Dr. Reti is an amazing professor. He is very nice and he is an easy grader. I took his class online so there were "essays" every week but it was ridiculously easy (like 2-3 paragraphs sometimes). You really have to try hard to fail this class. He responds quickly to emails and is thorough with what he wants you to do for assignment

I took this class while I was still in high school. It was an online summer class. He is a very easy grader and the tests were very easy as well.

Super easy online class. You can get away with just using the PowerPoints and google for assignments/exams. If youre just trying to fill a requirement, this is a great way to do it.

This class is pretty easy and doable but lots of writing though. There are about 3 written assignments and 1 discussion each week. Each written assignment can be anywhere from 3-5 pages but extremely easy. Most of it can be pulled from his power points and online resources. I haven't used either of the textbooks so far and he's been giving 95-100s

I took Dr. Reti for Poli Sci 150 and he was a great professor. Yes, there was a lot of writing involved, but that's basically it. There's 1 discussion due on Sundays, 3 assignments due per week, and 3 exams spread throughout the course. As long as you put in the time and effort, it'll be a breeze. I'd take Dr. Reti again!

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! He is not a tough grader and he is always available if you need help. I took his class online and it was the best decision ever! Prof. Reti has short videos that begin each unit and he is pretty funny. He provides good feedback and will even praise your work if he likes it. Take the fast class, but be ready to write essays.

TAKE THIS CLASS!! Professor Reti's class was beyond easy. Although it was easy, be prepared to do a lot of research in this class and a lot of writing. He grades easy and is willing to take late work. He is very understanding and is willing to give extensions on work. Overall he was a very nice guy and his videos were funny. Small use of the book.

The grading is lax just follow the rubric (not that hard) Some of my suggestions: - Be prepared to invest your time in writing A LOT (notice the emphasis on "A LOT") - Get the book (i only got the "We the People" it helps tremendously.) - Use references (cite them), i used at least 2 footnotes every page for every essay wrote.

I never been the person to go in-depth with politics but with this class I learned and understand so much of how we operate in the United States. The assignments are very easy and the book gives you most of the answers so it helped.

I never been the type of person to care for Politics. With this class I learned so much on the past election and about the parties. He is one of the nicest and easiest teachers ever, I messed up on one assignment and he left me redo it without losing points. The book plays a big role in the assignments just do what he says and you'll pass.

Dr. Reti was great this semester. Taking POLISC150 online with him is simple, the grading criteria is incredibly clear and to the point. You do a main assignment once a week, along with a discussion, and as long as you are on top of those, you can do really well in this class. Dr. Reti is really understanding as well, which is really great.

I took this class during winter term online so there was a lot of work to do. However, the work was manageable and the professor was amazing! He is very clear when assignments are due and communicates effectively ahead of time. He is an easy grader and always answered his emails in a timely manner, he was very kind and made this class a lot better!

Caring and considerate... with the pandemic he was very understanding of all his students school changes and worked with us if we had any issues. I dont understand politics that well but he definitely helped me understand it a lot more throughout this semester.. definitely take his class you wont regret it.

Dr. Reti is a fantastic professor and human. He is extremely patient, and tries to make sure everyone is learning the material. His class is extremely easy if you just do the work - he's a pretty lenient grader as well.

The main portion of this class is basically a paper every week. The prompts are really interesting and the professor is really helpful. If you hate writing papers, though, then you might want to look into a different gen-ed.

Even though there were lots of papers due weekly in class, most of them were pretty easy to understand, if you read the weekly reading requirements on each weeks' module, you'll pass the class easily. The class was fun and very organized, just stay on top of your work and you'll pass this class.

One of my favorite teachers! He was literally such a sweet man, all my assignments he would write "Good work!" "Great work!" I always looked forward to his class because the assignments were so much fun to do. He would do assignments where you write about your opinions on certain topics. I LOVED THIS CLASS! By far my favorite professor I've taken a course with thus far. I had Dr. Reti during the recent fall semester for PoliSci 150, it was my first semester of college & with current struggles with distance learning as well as some issues I was experiencing in my personal life, the professor was extremely understanding & helpful. Definitely recommend.

His essay prompts were pretty easy!! And they were very fun to talk about, oftentimes i found myself writing a lot more than he requirement. His grading was helpful and easy. What a king !!!!! I recommend

This was probably my most favorite teacher! He cracks some good jokes during the lectures which helps make the material not so dry. He does ask for opinions very frequently so be prepared to speak. His tests can be difficult if you do not review the study guides. Overall a very nice and friendly teacher.

If you are thinking to take this class professor you should take it. He is a good professor all the reviews on here are all true. His class had a long lectures but worth it. If you are good at writing then this class should not be hard. A lot of writing but easy prompts! He cares about his student!

Each day provides an overview of the class. Lectures taken directly from textbooks. Real life examples. Discussions are small group & written homework. Quizzes-straight forward. Exams- 2-3 essay questions. Provides Study Guides. Overall, professor was easy to talk to, fair, extremely knowledgeable. Class was challenging but equally rewarding.

Professor Reti is my favorite professor I have had so far. Decent work load but assignments were very simple and graded easy. Lectures were interesting and if you pay attention you will learn a lot. Participation matters and he will call on students without their camera on to contribute to lecture conversation. Very fun class.

The most caring, kindest person I have ever met. I had an incident where I couldn't complete a class and was just going to drop out, but instead he gave me a 6 month extension to get it done. At the end, I completed all the work, but obviously couldn't access the discussion posts. He removed those and gave me an A. Kindest person ever, seriously.

His class is really just essays and discussion boards. The essays are really just research that he wants you to conduct about a topic and give your opinion on. There is no wrong answers just answer his questions fully with your opinion. He gives good feedback and grades quickly, take him for this class

Super understanding professor and accepted my late work when I apologized and provided an explanation. Easy to ask him questions. I took the zero-cost textbook course over the summer and while there was a lot of reading, Dr. Reti provided easy to follow PowerPoints. All 3 exams were essays and assignments were about the same length.

Love Dr. Reti, easy A with just discussion boards and essays, no quizzes or tests, and free textbooks. You can be totally honest about your political views without being penalized. He does use AI checkers, and I was flagged twice, but after I emailed him and proved the inaccuracies of AI checkers, he reversed the grades back to an A.
