Dr. Robbins is just a fun professor who throws in a hint of comedy in his lessons. He's very easy to talk to and always brings a joy to the psychology department

Not a bad class. Easy to approach and get help from if you need it. He helped write the book, so the book and his notes go together really well. Likes to joke in class and makes it not as painful to be there.

Dr. Robbins is an incredible teacher. He explains things clearly, gives numerous examples, and gives his lectures with some humor in them. You learn a lot and retain what you learned.

He was great in PY 221. Research methods wasn't as good but the material was boring so it's not his fault. He's pretty funny too. He tells really cute stories about his daughters too. Nice guy, very helpful.

Psych 101 with robbins is easily my best class this year. the guy's amazing. He's entertaining and I learn a hell of a lot.

Steve Robbins is a great professor. His class is fun and he takes the time to explain things to you that you don't understand. He's very approachable. ps- he's really awkward... especially when you point out that he wrote the text book!

Really entertaining prof. His class is lecture style, but he uses lots of overheads and takes questions. Funny and pretty accessible.

I've had Dr. Robbins for numerous classes! He's a fantastic professor and really wants students to do well. Make sure you come to class, you don't want to miss his lectures! Take any class he teaches, you won't regret it.

Robbins is the reason I went into Psychological Research. His classes teach you without you even realizing it. He has a story of every topic and broadens your idea of the field of Psychology. If you're looking for a Senior Thesis adviser, I highly recommend him (I got an A)!

Robins is super entertaining, and charming. i wish I was his friend in real life, I bet he'd be fun, his class was super hard for me but maybe because I'm not a science person. He is always available for help and is really easy to talk to, i suggest asking him for advice if needed.

I had Robbins for Learning and Cognition and he was the best professor that I have had so far at Arcadia. He is extremely dedicated to helping you and very passionate about his material. My advice if you are taking this class is to use his outlines and when you study study his outlines by section, & clip notecards to each section. Hope this helps

I love this guy. Had him for three different required psych classes. He is constantly smiling and u can tell he loves what he teaches. I'm sad I won't be able to have him as a teacher anymore since he does not teach any electives. If u r a psych major do yourself a favor and take him!

Again, best professor at this place. Lucid lectures. Great sense of humour. Never met somebody who is that knowledgeable, that good at teaching, and that good of a person. You'd be a fool to pass up the opportunity to take a psych class with Robbins.

He was the best teacher I had at Arcadia. I almost did not transfer just because I wanted to keep taking classes with him. He is so wonderful and passionate about what he teaches. If you don't like your grade, you can talk to him and he will give you tips on how to be better prepared for his exams. He was a life saver my freshman year.

Dr. Robbins is absolutely the best teacher I have had at Arcadia thus far. I had him for Learning and Cognition last semester and absolutely loved his teaching style. You definitely have to show up for class and you have to study, it's no easy A, but he gives you all the information you will need for every test. Make sure to follow the outlines.

Literally the greatest professor I have ever had in my life. Makes every effort he can to make sure people understand the material, keeps students attention with being hilarious, easy going and down to earth. I absolutely loved Dr. Robbins. He honestly made me contemplate changing my major from bio to psych. Lecture was the best. He always kept the class going with his fun personality and corny intellectual jokes. One of the greatest profesors at Arcadia University. He was not only my professor, but he is also my adviser and the head of the Psych department. He makes the class as humorous as possible, he cares about what he teaches, and he cares about his students as well. Class attendance is up to you, but what you miss is on you. Great intro class.

I felt inspired after leaving his class. He's really funny and is willing to talk about content and help out outside of class. His lectures were comprehensive but sometimes it was hard to follow his connections. Taking notes was very helpful. He's very good at keeping his students' attention. He has an easy-to-listen-to voice.

I have taken 2 classes with Dr. Robbins, and will be doing my senior thesis with him, also. He is an amazing, hilarious, kind, and caring professor that actually gives a crap about his students. Best professor I've had in my entire life. Within the first 5 mins of his class I realized I wanted to be like him, inspired me to want to do experimental psych. Genuinely good person, very caring in his own way, and goes out of his way to help if you show an interest. Great sense of humor. He's a real gem of a human being!

Switched to him as my advisor within two weeks of lecture. Really cares about his students, amazing lectures, and makes sure to get the material clearly. Really made me want to stay a psych major, since my freshman year wasn't amazing. 100000% would take another class from him.

Dr. Robbins is one of the best professors that I have ever had. I did not do well on my first exam, therefore I set u a meeting with him and he really talks through everything with you and gives you tips on how to best study. He always answers his emails in reasonable time. His classes are fun/engaging. But do not miss class! You need to be there!

He WILL take out the time and meet with you to help you outside of class. His lectures are interesting, and funny. But hes different than the usual learning style which is why meeting with him is always good. I love him so much and wish I could have every class with him. Such an intelligent guy, and knows how to help his students.

While Robbins doesn't offer extra credit or do group projects, this man is gem. He brings so much humor to every single one of his lectures and is very engaging with the students. He doesn't cold call, he doesn't do homework, and when you give him a critique or have any questions he's so attentive and accommodating. Best teacher ever!

Professor Robbins is one of the best professors I've ever taken. He explains all the concepts super well and the exams are straight from the lectures. You will never see a test question he didn't cover. He is always accessible outside of class and he really wants students to succeed in psychology.

Dr. Robbins is probably the best well spoken professor I have had. He makes the almost 2 hour lecture feel like it flies by. He is very interactive and always willing to help his students. I would definitely recommend.
