real funny, young and relates to students, exam "jeopardy" just like exams, no final exam! very cool teacher, cancels a couple classes and lets out early alot, doesnt care if your late except if its like twenty minutes. doesnt care about phones except when its excessive and annoying. easy class, expecting an A.

One of my favorite teachers ever! He gives you the PowerPoints ahead of time on BB. He uses real life examples to help explain things. He is very funny and easy to get along with. The class wasn't really that hard as long as you show up and try. Plus.. he's super cute!

Took his online class. He had alot of good examples and stuff, overall he was very helpful and communicated alot. Pro Tip: If you show up to his open office hours with a pillow, you can challenge him to a pillow fight. Mr. Ross can never turn down a challenge to a pillow fight. He keeps an extra pillow in his office at all times just for this.

Currently in his class, great teacher- you can really tell he cares about his job and his students. Would take another one of his classes in a heartbeat.

Steven has maybe 6 other assignments beyond reading and tests, but you better be extremely specific about the answers or else you get points off with those assignments. The chapters in the book seem unusually long as well, so be sure to take notes because there is no indication as to what will be tested on.

He reminds me of the step-brother Josh on 'Clueless'. And is just as hot as he is.

Professor Ross is one of the best teachers I've ever encountered. He was very easy to me, and I actually got 100% in the class because of a few extra credits turned in. He's the best kind of funny, and reminds me of Ted Mosby from How I Met Your Mother. Much more interesting lectures than most professors. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Steven was a good professor. My class was once a week so you definitely had to show up to pass. Long lectures but he kept them pretty interesting for the most part. He is super sarcastic and pretty funny. He's a hottie! Pretty easy to pass as long as you study. I'd take his class again.

Professor Ross is simply amazing. If you have to take a Psychology class take him. He's really knowledgeable about what he teaches and is so funny. He gives students so many chances for extra credit like up to 40 points which really helps. Get the powerpoints take notes, and listen. You will learn so much in his class. And its really interesting.

Great and funny teacher overall. Usually interesting topics in class and enjoyed being in class. The only thing I found disappointing was not rounding my grade by .3 % when I always participated and barely missed class. But he is a great professor.

You need to read your book and listen to power points to pass the quizzes. Sometimes he has things in the power points that aren't in your book that could show up on quizzes. He has a few reading assignments and papers, but they are not hard to finish. Only thing I didn't like was the amount of time to take the tests, 30-35 min. (75 min. on final).

I liked him as a teacher. I thought he was easy to understand, not too difficult if you went to class. Had powerpoints that were usually easy to follow. Fair. Go to class, listen. Has assignments weekly in my class, but not usually too hard.

I have taken him for 2 classes and do not regret it. His class can be an easy A but there is still much work involved. Powerpoints are great and you need to read/listen to them; there might be something on the tests that aren't in the book. Only concern was the time limit on tests and I didn't know if he ever got some of the emails I sent him.

Great Professor! Few and easy assignments. Took his web class but he uses powerpoints with his voice recorded over like a class lecture-SUPER helpful & funny! I took professor in a summer 8 week course. Do your discussion boards and assignments by the deadline,hence you get extra credit for participating .he is a very generous grader when it come to DB . I didnt like the time test . Always listen to his lecture becausr they will be on the test ,but at the very least youll pass with a B or a C

Weekly hw but doesn't take an insane amount of time, always an article. In class lectures are a must, as some of the stuff he says in class is on the exams. He's funny and laid back, and every class he asked an ice breaker question during attendence (attendence counts!) which helped him familiarize himself with the students. He's a caring professor

I've had Steven Ross for 3+ classes & have loved him for every one! Easy reading and quizzes (timed), a few one page papers, and a final exam (not timed) that is short answers. If you did them throughout the semester, then all you do for the final, is cut and paste! I would recommend his classes every chance I get! Emails are about 24-48 hours.

This class was very interesting, but very fun! Although it was a lot to read and there was a quiz every week (only multiple choice), the quizzes were pretty self explanatory if you read the chapter. The discussion boards were fun to do, as well as responding to other students. I would definitely take this class again!

Prof. Ross is single handedly the most entertaining professor I've had through several schools. His classes were lecture heavy, but entertaining, and he provided great response to student's inquiries. He uses homework, as well as journal entries, group experiments, and tests (3) for grading. And he provides great feedback for all but maybe tests

He was really good at explaining things to where you could understood the concept the best. If you like the idea of psychology, then he is definitely the person to take! Even if you are only taking this as a required course, he is the guy for the job. I was not too interested in psychology but it was required. Now Im taking social psych

The best way to take in the information that he puts out is to get involved in class. He gets involved with his students, and he provides great feed back. it helps that hes nice to look at too. if i were going further into a psychology major, i would be sure to take his class again.

I enjoyed my time in professor Ross' class. He is very easy going, although he can be a tough grader on the homework and he gives great feedback for future assignments. His tests were pretty easy just make sure you look at the study guide and notes.

Really enjoyed this class and look forward to taking another of his classes in the fall. His tests and quizzes were very straightforward. In my case all I had to do was read the book and I passed.

i was dreading this class just because i wasnt interested in the topic, but professor ross completely changed my idea of pschy, for many reasons. first being hes not boring at all, he always gives a fun example during lectures and that always helped me study because i thought back to lecture examples. hes funny and all around enjoyable class

One of the best online courses I've ever taken. His powerpoints are set up so the textbook really isn't necessary. They have text, video links, and voice clips of him explaining things. Easy to learn from, and the tests aren't too hard. I feel like I'm learning a lot without that typical feeling of suffering.

I took a class with Ross purely based off of his positive reviews on this cite. I am now in my third semester with him as my professor. I always look forward to his class. He is very much okay with class participation and genuinely cares about his students.

Okay if you take psych take it online with Ross. Format is stupid easy and there's two things at most you have to do a week. Read a powerpoint which will take about an hour(which he does voice overs) and then a test and a D.B or assignment. Don't bother getting the book!! They're super easy though. I'm taking him for lifespan in the summer too.

I took this class online and he was a great professor. There is a lot of reading but he gives powerpoint that also include audio of him explaining topics further. I would take any class of his again.

This class was very easy. You get 1 quiz each week over the PowerPoint lesson for that week. I never even needed the online textbook. About every other week there's a homework assignment about an article or the PowerPoint which is also easy. Took as a sophomore in highschool and passed easily.

Steve was a great professor. He is very entertaining and there for the right reasons. He is very fair with grading and responding to questions. He made the transition to online great. I would highly recommend him for any psych classes.

This is my first psychology class and honestly this professor couldnt be better. I learned SO much, even as an online course. I really loved that the PPs had audio and he made the presentations engaging and entertaining. I seriously loved this class and have nothing bad to say about it. It is clear this professor is passionate and cares.

Professor Ross was excellent. I really liked the PowerPoint lectures with audio. Take notes off of those instead of the book for tests. He included lots of real life examples, video clips, and activities into the powerpoints. Even though this was an online class, I feel like I learned alot from someone who cared and enjoys his field. Great professor. I've taken two of his classes online, and his power points make the material super easy to learn. I don't like reading, so having the audio clips with explanations and pictures with examples made it quick and fun. The only online class where I actually understood what was happening.

Professor Ross was an excellent online professor. He made things simple to understand and gave clear expectations. I recommend watching his intro video walkthrough on his syllabus. He set a lot of clear expectations and added insightful tips through the video. It was really helpful throughout the semester.

Mr.Ross was awesome! He made learning psychology very easy and fun. Instead of teaching out of a book, he would make his own slide presentations which had good voice overs for each slide. I learned a lot and had a great experience!

This professor and class was not terribly unbearable, however, get ready to read is correct. You will not only have 70 slide powerpoints every module but you will also have reading online to do as well as an extra assignment weekly on top of module exams every week plus discussion boards frequently.

Professor Ross was great, I did poorly (C) in the class because I wasn't taking enough time to actually focus. He uses a free and online textbook, as well as creates a semi-interactive slide show with videos and vocal notes that he has for you to listen to. Definitely would, and am, taking another course of his.

I had Professor Ross in an online course. He was funny and clear on what he was saying in the lectures. I enjoyed the discussion board post and seeing his feedback on assignments. The course tests are heavy but the test is relatively easy if you watch the lectures and read the textbook chapters.

This is an easy class if you take notes over the powerpoint lectures. Most of the quiz questions come from the slideshows, but you should still skim the textbook for any points not covered in class. The assignments are straightforward. Quizzes are timed, but you get more than enough time to complete them. Great class, would definitely reccomend.

I took PSY220 and he summarizes the lesson into PowerPoints then has open book test on each chapter (about 15 questions). Tells you exactly what he expects and quick to reply. I enjoyed this class and I HIGHLY recommend!

Ross was a great professor and made the class fun with his audio-recorded presentations. Cannot recommend his classes enough.

This class is full of readings and drawn out lectures, with 20-30 questions assessments every week... but Steven Ross is an awesome professor and is very funny/down to earth. He makes boring material interesting.

I took this class over the summer and I had the weeks work done in one day. Professor Ross makes lectures fun and adds humor to keep you engaged. I would definitely take one of his classes again.
