I wouldn't say that he is hard... You should just do some reading... and I think he is a nice guy.

He's a lot of fun to listen to but he just skims the course material and doesn't go in depth. So it's up to you to read up the text. The trick with his exams is to learn all the definitions. Also, try not to be absent cos it affects your grades.

His class is fairly easy if you show up and just read the chapter. tests are easy. Drops your lowest grade which is pretty cool. His jokes are rarely funny, yet he insist on saying them over and over again. Pretty good class if ur into business.

One word to describe this class:BORING!!! Although the exams can be easy, some of his questions comes only from the lectures so you have to pay attention. He puts me to sleep in the morning. The recitation isn't necessary-debate,writing assignments.

The best professor to take for bus 1000 class, always explains the necessary concepts and suggests what may appear on an exam, there are 4 exams [25Qs], he drops the lowest score, & curves grades. Really an easy A, but you cannot mess up the recitation.

DO NOT be fooled, you must study for his test but, He is great, granted business at 8:40am was not easy but he made it a fun class, his grading policy shows much mercy b/c he drops 1 out of the 4 exams and boost one of your lower ones and curves alot. Walked out with a good grade . So please, take him. However,at 8:40am his jokes were a bit wack.

His class is pretty easy. The recitation section is more interesting than the actual lecture. i learned more from the recitation leader about Business. He gives a good curve and drops a grade.

His lecture is interesting, but the exams are HARD! You have to have a very good memory in order to get good grades.

his lectures are hilarious, but exams are way too detailed, u really need a good memory to get good grades on the exams. BTW, the lecture is really nothing compared to the recitation (taught by different Prof. depends on section), way too much work, but i got an A-, was surprised, expected a B according to my exam grades, he must've curved it.

He is funny, will have u laughing all class long, 4 tests, drops lowest grade, and curves your final grade for the class up a grade, but avoid some of his rec teachers who are hard avoid a guy named Urban who grades really hard and cuz him I ended up with an A- instead of an A.

Ok. I ended up with a crazy hard recistation teacher called URBAN. He graded our papers as we were in graduate school.I ended up getting a B+. The lectures for Schanars arent bad, but you have to take really good notes and read the bookk and watch out for the recitaion teacher.

just read the book and youll pass the class. show up so the fat guy can mark you in then leave. i just read the book and took the tests and came out of the class with an A-

He's a very likeable guy with interesting stuff to say. The course gives a decent overview of some of the bus. majors. With that said, if you're stuck w/ a cruddy recitation section, you're basically screwed out of an A and the course isn't as easy as some say it is. Not fair at all to have some people situated in good light and some in bad.

I know this won't help students but it has to be said. He is so cute. He's no Brad Pitt but he is very easy on the eyes. He would always wear these shirts that would outline his body and he looks good for a man his age. And the fact that he has a nice sense of humor and that he is intelligent makes me like him even more. Take this eye candy for fun

I will tell you to keep away from Urban because he is a harsh grader as a recitation teacher. Schnaars makes his class interesting and his last two exams are pretty easy. I recommend you take Schnaars only if you are willing to work hard in recitation.

Professor Schnaars class is a very easy class. He is very understandable and can be funny. His tests are sooooo easy as long as you read the book and go to class . Make sure you study his notes.

As a professor he tells you what u need to know for his exams from the book and lecture. He is funny sometimes and thats what saves his class from being a text book course. The recitation is what will probably get most people for doing group work. Make sure you get reliable people or else your grade will suffer since this counts for about 40%

Hates students coming to class late. His exams are straightforward and simple, 40 questions each. Speaks loud and clear. Make sure you attend class because the exams have a few questions based on lecture only. Use can use the 5th, 6th, 7th edition of the textbook, just update the names of the chair of the Fed.

Even though he only focuses on one area of the hall (usually the middle) when it comes to asking/answering questions - leaving the rest of us unheard, his lectures were still very interesting - has both a funny and a serious side, and the tests are all multiple choice (he drops the lowest if you take all of them). Just don't be late!

He's mostly straight from the textbook. The few questions that aren't from the textbook he let's you know to pay close attention in class. Take him, he'll up your GPA.

Very interesting and funny professor. His exams are somewhat difficult, but that's only if you don't read the book. Make sure you pay attention in class bc many of his exam questions are based on the lectures. He does curve the grades bc recitation leaders can be a little on the vindictive side. Professor Schnaars is a good professor who usually wants his students to get acceptable grades, so he will often curve when the average score is low. He takes the best three scores from four tests. You should pay attention in his lecture, because some of it will be tested. Most of the answers of his tests can be found in the textbook.

Makes jokes during class but when it comes to tests it is so much different from what he taught in class and what is writen in the book. His test are VERY DIFFICULT!!!! Pay attention in class cuz some of the questions he gives on tests are NOT in the book. Read it with ATTENTION and MEMORIZE vocab. Dont understanf=dont pass.Good luck!!!

He warns you in the begining that some of the qeustions will come from his lectures, that attendance is a mandatory, that there are 4 quizes w/lowest score droped and that 1/3 of the grade comes from recitation.Quezes not that hard, definitely need to read at least once, mostly terminology.

One of the best professors I had. Good presence during lectures and is knowledgable about the subject. Familiarity with textbook terminology helps a lot on tests. Reading the chapter the day prior to lecture helps. Each test covers 4-5 chapters. Most questions come from the textbook, but if you listen in class, a perfect score is possible.

Great lecturer with a great sense of humor. Made the 8:40 class and Friday RECT worth it. Be punctual. Tests are really easy if you pay attention 85% of the time, so it's easy to get an A. Pick Trabold for RECT to secure an A. Definitely take him for BUS1000.

Take him for BUS1000! The tests are easy if you study for them. HE curves AND he boosts up your grade! The only hard thing is the recitation class, but still, I learned a lot from the lecture and recitation and I am glad I took his class.

THE EXAMS ARE NOT EASY! with that said, it's important that you study! he's really fun and interesting and has a great sense of humor, which makes this class worthwhile. recitation includes a project-shadow a company-10 pg group paper. the recitation prof are pretty chill tho.

lectures are interesting and relevent; schnaars is great at what he does; that being said, i don't like that his attempts at punishing latecomers/absentees makes notes (essential to the exam) inaccessible to everyone-he doesn't post anything on bboard, doesn't even throw you a bone; my advice: take good notes, be on time-he'll shout u out otherwise

Schnaar's class may be early in the morning but he will surely wake you up! He is really interesting and you might learn a thing or two about business or business products. Take him if you want a fun class that isn't too hard. You just need to study his notes and take notes from the short chapters of the Textbook if you want a good grade.

Prof. Schnaars can teach the material very well, but he goes through the notes quickly so be prepared to write fast. His tests are overall easy. Just memorize his notes and take some notes from the assigned chapters in the textbook and you'll do great. The only thing is that he shouldn't be very hard on people who come late, it's an early class.

uh, pretty sure hes like 60. anyway, tests are like 50% lecture notes and 50% from the book (read a little more than just the bold vocab and you'll be fine), multiple choice, pretty much no curve per test, but he drops the lowest out of 4 tests and curves one grade up your final grade (i think). most importantly of all hes VERY engaging, and funny.

This class required me to get to class on time. However, it was not too bad. As long as you read the textbook and take great notes you will do well on his exams.

PROS: Pretty organized class. Tests are a cakewalk (read book, study definitions, and blackboard lecture notes). Drops 1 test grade. Recitation was easy. CONS: STRICT on Attendance. seriously. Has a weird curve, but i got bumped from an A- to an A so? Tests can be tricky w/ info only mentioned in class. TAKE HIM.

Pretty cool guy, most of his lectures involve history of certain companies, so that's always interesting. His exams are a tricky mixture of textbook and lecture material, but not impossible to do well.

Although I didn't receive that great of a grade due to my laziness - he was an AWESOME professor. Make sure you attend his lectures as they will appear on the test as well as reading the textbook and showing up for recitation. He was clear and can teach you quite a lot.

HIS TESTS ARE RIGHT OUT THE LECTURE NOTES. If you go to lecture, you will understand it and not have to memorize them, especially since he tests you on things he said in class and were not on the lecture notes. TAKE HIM! He's funny and kept me awake even for a 9:05 class. You can't be late though, he won't let you in and embarrass you as well.

Professor Schnaars always kept the lectures interesting. His portion of the class is worth 62% of the final grade, he gives three exams and drops one. Exams require studying but are not that difficult since he provides the notes

I would study like crazy, all was on the ebook, maybe I should have paid more attention to the lecture. Very good professor. Is very clear and does not make the material harder than it should be. Gives four 40 multiple choice tests, but only counts 3 of them. He provides an e-book for you for each unit, so make sure to MEMORIZE this info for each test, because a few test questions are tricky. If you do this and attend class, you will do very well.

Pretty interesting and funny professor. His class material is extremely simple but the tests are extremely tricky. I would advise to find an easier professor if possible. However, Schnaars is an excellent second choice if you are stuck with him. Make sure to go to all the lectures as some test questions aren't in the given eBook.

He was funny and the lectures were pretty interesting. The tests are multiple choice and straight forward off his slides. Some found the tests confusing but he also drops a test. If your read over his slides before the test it should be an easy A. Also, he did not take attendance.
