Easiest class you'll ever take. Do the few homework assignments and you'll get an A. No homework or projest takes more than twenty mins at max. most of them can be done in class.

Good Instructor. Used to be grade school teacher. Teaches like he still is. It's great. Gives you time in class to complete labs and homework. Any future computer classes I need I will be looking for him.

Steve will let you know how your doing in class. Theres no reason not to get a good grade. All you have to do is show up, work, and ask and see how your doing.

The class was totally online and I really enjoyed it! He even had optional meetings on Saturday afternoons for students who needed extra help. He was very willing to work. It being a 10-week course, we had a lot to cover but I thought we had a reasonable amount of time to complete assignments. I would definitely reccommend him!!

Steve is a great professor. If you have to take Computer Literacy, I definately recommend signing up for his class. The workload was not bad at all; most assignments are completed in class. He keeps you updated on your grade and expects you to do well because the class is not difficult for people who have had some computer experience.

Prof. Schwarz's class was a really easy A. If you have any basic computer knowledge, you'll do fine. The people in class who had problems were not computer literate at all and slower typers. (had top be able to keep up). Even those who were computer illeterate got decent grades as his tests are not hard and he grades easy.

For me, the class was semi-difficult, mostly because I'd never programmed before, but Steve made is pretty easy and I got an A. He is always there to help, offers extra credit on tests and labs. If you have any questions, he'll do his best to answer them. Very nice and was up-to-date on his stuff.

ugh so annoying. can't miss class. treats all students of all ages like high school students. give a big grade of attendance. even though im a computer geek i needed to attend each class or else i would get a B.

Good professor. Difficult subject for me but he made things very easy to understands. The exams/quizes came from the labs so study them and you'll do well. He was overall, very helpful and explaned things very well.

hes really funny, youll deff pass. hes talks way to much, we will learn what we need to know but then hell show us other ways to do it and ways not to it so its confusing. the class is way to long he drags it out hes easy going and very helpful he lets alot slide i recommend him he just needs to get to the point

Schwarz is extremely helpful and will walk you through anything. Having no interest in the subject matter, he makes the class interesting. Sometimes he tries to be funny and can be a bit annoying (especiallu early in the morning) but it's worth taking him.

Professor Shwarz is such a sweet heart!! He's genuinely a kind man and very understanding. Although his classes are early and no one seems to pay attention, he shows a lot of passion about teaching it. Hes very helpful too - he has patience for the silliest questions sometimes. I recommend him!

He's a fantastic teacher. Don't be surprised if he talks a lot. He's bound to do it every single time you enter his class. Make sure you're not on your cellphone or leave your class. He'll point that out in front of everyone. :p Oh, and.... if you study his study guide, you will do fine on his tests. They're pretty easy. All multiple choice!

His expectations of his students are made very clear from day one. He doesn't tolerate rudeness (cell phones usage, etc.) and if you are rude in some way, prepare to be called out on it. Otherwise, he is lenient...going out of his way to help his students succeed.

This class was VERY easy. It's basically "HOW TO USE MICROSOFT WORD, POWERPOINT, EXCELL, AND ACCESS" He made it easy, and fun for those who were ready to fall asleep.

Steve is actually the man. I took his class once a week and it was supposed to be 4 hours long and we barely ever stayed for even 3 hours. It is such an easy A if you do the work. Just study for the TIA tests, those can be hard, but everything else is mad easy if you are somewhat familiar with Microsoft Office.

An introduction to word, excell, ad power point. He is engaging and interesting. Rewards effort and is patient with those who are not computer literate. Good class. Great teacher.

Professor Schwarz is really funny and makes class time go by quickly. Is always willing to help you and gives you every single opportunity in the world to pass. Most homework is done in class and tests are easy and mostly done through web study. Always reviews for tests and nothing is on them that he doesn't go over in class. Highly recommend.

Funny guy who likes to teach what he does. He didn't make the course work harder or more boring than it needed to be, and he likes classes who are more intuitive with computers. However, he still explains really well if someone doesn't understand something.

Schwartz is the best professor I've ever had and I don't even like computers that much. He does his best to get through the material and make it interesting. Don't hesitate to ask because he will help you if you ask for it. Material covered is on the test, so come to class and pay attention and you will do just fine!

This professor is great. I took this course over the summer. His lectures are a good length but yet concise. He makes the course go by quickly, and is super understanding.

This professor is super nice. He is very helpful and very knowledgeable in his field. He is very pleasant and is relatively patient. There is no book really required. We had a webstudy quiz every class, but they were only 10 questions long. There are 4 core tests, plus a midterm and final. There is usually 1 practice & 1or 2 projects per class.

He is one of very few who won't move on until EVERYBODY understands the work. He's the best and deserves a spot at RVCC.

Very good professor. I really enjoyed his lectures. he was very clear on what is on tests, and what needs to be done on the labs. 10% of grade is attendance, which you start the semester off with a 110% in. lateness counts against this so just be there and be on time. He makes sure everyone understands and relates the topics to real applications.

Steve is super nice guy. Definitely knows what he's talking about. You can ask questions beyond the curriculum and he'll be able to answer you or at the very least get back to you with a solid response. Amazing teacher and would definitely take his class again!

I took this Professor for online Computer Literacy in the Summer and he was great. There was a good bit of projects, discussion forums, and quiz given every week but it was a full semesters worth of work condensed into six weeks, so I was expecting it. Class was not hard at all, pretty straight forward and easy. I would highly recommend this prof.

I took this class over the summer online and it was super easy! Professor Schwarz is very nice & sets up a clear agenda of what you have to do and when it has to get done. He is also very easy to reach if you have any problems or questions. I would definitely take this course again with this professor.

I enjoyed Professor Schwarz's Comp 102 class. It was an online class over the Winter. The material and requirements could not have been more clear and easy to understand. All instructions for each section were easy to follow and as long as you did you could guarantee a good grade. I would definitely recommend his classes.

There's not much to tag for Prof Schwarz's class, but he was certainly enjoyable. I had him for Computer Literacy, online asynchronous. Very easy-going. Prerecorded his lectures in which he demonstrated absolutely everything you needed to do for each assignment. Because of this, I didn't end up using the $150 textbook a single time.

EASY! Took for Comp. Lit. As long as you are able to open up powerpoint, word, or excel- do the work its almost impossible not to get an A. He has uploaded videos of how to do assignment, literally follow along and IMPOSSIBLE to get anything below a 100. Offers extra credit - summarize a 3 minute youtube video. SUPER EASY. TAKE HIM!

Took online because of COVID, assignments are following his steps on powerpoint, excel, or word and doing same thing but yourself. VERY easy. Extra credit is summarizing few minute videos, but he mentioned for future classes it may be mandatory - either way EASY. Hard to fail, just do the assignments and he even shows you what to do.

honestly the professor is really easy but also really nice. just be kind and youll get the same respect back. wish he taught more classes because i wouldve loved to have him again.

I would definitely take professor Schwarz's class again. Super easy, really hard to not pass. Just follow the videos and hand in the work on time. Took it for a winter class and still ended with a 99. His instructions are clear and gives good feedback. Make sure to follow all the instructions for discussion posts.

Professor Schwarz is a national treasure. Took Computer Literacy with him. Genuinely so funny. You don't need the book unless you plan on missing over two classes. This man makes something as simple as a Word document so entertaining. Does the work with you in class, so as long as you show up, you're good. Homework literally took me five mins.

I took this class online over winter break and it was very easy to complete. As much work as it is in a short amount of time, it definitely was a lot easier because of the lecture videos and how Schwarz set up the class. He is definitely worth taking online especially if you are somewhat familiar with computer work already.

This class is extremely easy if you follow directions well. He tends to overexplain things a lot which makes the class take a lot longer. Also if you happen to have even one or two people who don't know what they're doing it delays the time you are able to leave. Other than that it's an easy a and does teach you a lot.

Prof is very easy goes over everything so everyone understands. Prof takes a long time going over things when it is sometimes not necessary which wastes a lot of time. Class can move at a frustratingly slow pace, but is a super easy class I would recommend for the easy credits. Not a lot of homework or tests.

Great class, I would take it again. 3-5 Assignments a week, Normally two office assignments, a chapter quiz (two attempts), and sometimes discussions. If you follow the directions on the assignments, you will do fine. He takes the time to get to know his students while giving feedback, Great Professor, Easy Class- Win-Win, I would take again 100%

One of the best professors I've ever had! I took him for business math and he was so accommodating whenever I struggled. His assignments and lectures are straightforward and he provides a lot of good tutorials for his students so they can succeed. I'm taking him again for computer literacy-I highly recommend him for either class!
