he looks like he just got done hiking the appalachian trail for the last 6 months.. But regardless of that he is a funny funny man, very helpful, and makes the work and tests easy.

He is very funny, and helpful. He doesnt look much like a teacher but he makes the work easy. He gives out a few quizes, and about 3 tests.

He's a very cool guy and he made calculus pretty enjoyable. I don't think he was easy, you have to do the homework and understand it to do well on tests.

never liked math all my life this guy helped me understand it very well and if i got an A in this class any dummy in math will get an A. lots of homework but worth the while. I dont care how he looks i just want to pass my math. and I did. thanks Sir!!

Steve Zimmer ****ing rocks!

So awsome...my faveorite proff.

He was incredibly helpful with reviews and made himself open and available if anybody needed help. The class is a bit fast-paced, but as long as you do the homework you'll keep up. The tests are fair if you take the time to study for hem. One minor complant is that he sometimes arrives to class a little late and he's slow returning stuff.

I took this class when I was still back in high school my summer break from junior to senior year. This was the first time I had taken a college course and I loooooved his class. He made the whole class laugh, but never lost focus. He is very nice and explains everything until you understand. I had a great time in his class and walked out with an A

Very helpful

Best Math Teacher in all of Essex. I flunked Math all my life till I met this man. He admired my hard work and determination and I left with an A grade! Homework isn't bad at all. Easy quizes, and you get half credit on failed test questions as long as you show your work. He teaches Math you'll use in life and spares you of all the pointless stuff.

GREAT TEACHER! Makes Math kinda cool and fun! The hardest Part was the First test, so pay attention to the confusing formulas--he does a great job of breaking it all down but the first is definitely hard!! He was a cool guy, very understanding and easy to approach.

Easy A. Great class to take if you bore easily because he rarely went over 25 minutes in what was supposed to be a 55 minute class. He also does not call on people and doesn't take attendence.

Great teacher... he doesn't take it too serious and gives partial credit on wrong answers. The homework is not graded or turne in, just used for practicing. The tests are fair, but definitely require studying. I hate math but Zimmer teaches so well I managed to get an A! Also the best part- he ALWAYS lets you out of class early!!!!

Stevo, what can i say about this man. i remember i ran into him at a bar in White Marsh. Easy, kind of messy. No need to buy texbook besides for homework. what i like about him is you are always the ealy bird when it comes to attendance. He is recommended.

tests are exactly like the reviews. do the reviews and your set for the test. ive never been in class for more than half an hour. awesome teacher!

Best teacher ever... he is so nice, funny, smart and helpful. he is a very relax guy who is so fair and will help u alot. he was one of my best math teachers ever, if i was going to take more math i would definitly take it with him. Great teacherrrrrrrrrr

I failed Alegebra 1 and barely passed it the second time. All that happened 30 years ago when I was in highschool! Went back to school now, took Alg 2, understood everything - due to Mr. Zimmer! He's great-and he always lets you out early.

At first you'll be like "Woah, this guy looks like a lumberjack Santa Clause, not a teacher!" But he is one of the best math teachers Ive ever had. His great teaching style didnt hurt. If I had the chance to take his class again, I would in a heartbeat. Lets out early almost every day and doesnt check homework. Thats an A+ in my book! I reccomend.

easiest class ever class lasted half hour pretty much and hes a nice guy. dont judge on looks but hes cool and kinda has a who cares atitude deff take him if you are lookin for an easy math class for 3 credits

Very clear. It was only a 4 week course for Algebra, but did not feel rushed. Good teacher. Def need the book (older editions do work).

i love his class its easy to make an A all u have to do is pay attention do homework for extra credits and exams is very esay

He was a great teacher, helped me understand math better than anyone else. He kind of looked like Jerry Garcia/lumberjack/santa claus and kinda smelled like Taco Bell. He always said to call him Steve and it was a little weird talking to him so informally but he taught math really really well, he was one of the best teachers I've ever had!

Mr. Zimmer is an excellent teacher and is very relaxed. I have always struggled with math so bad that i actually had to take math083 4 times before passing with a C. Having Mr. Zimmer as an instructor has really clarified a lot of issues that I was never able to grasp before.

Mr Zimmer is a great teacher. It's an easy A if you come to class. All home work is graded, but he will help you through each part of the homework if you have questions. He is more then willing to help. Take this teacher if you're going into math, great teacher!

Mr. Zimmer is the man. Period. I hate math and find it excruciatingly boring but his class wasn't painful. He doesn't cover a lot of material each class so you don't feel like you're drowning in info. He gives homework but not a lot and he grades fairly on it and his exams are relatively easy. He is very helpful and clear as well.

Great teacher! If you want to understand math, get an a, and have a really nice professor, take it with mr. Zimmer. He's really relaxed, homework doesn't take that long, and overall the class is simple.

Mr. Zimmer is the -ish! I HAAATTEE math, can never understand it. It's like French to me, but Mr. Zimmer explains things soooo clearly. He applies principles of math to real life which makes it so much easier to understand. I struggled to get a B in 083 and got an A in his class, and not because he grades easy,I really understand all of the info

I hated math so much I needed this class to graduate Mr. Zimmer made it painless as possible. He was very laid back and understanding. I loved his class and because I passed his class I never have to take another one.

His class was not too hard. I understood majority of his lectures. Even at times when I didn't understand, due to attendance, he would gladly stay after to help me. He is a superb professor! But for those who are not good at math, you will need to study harder!

This man is wonderful! I am a math moron, and he would gladly work with me as well as the other students until we understood. He has the patience of a saint and is really laid back and encouraging. He is easy to approach and reminds you to laugh at your self. He is hands down the best math professor I have ever had.

Professor Zimmer is not easy, I don't know what you are all talking about. I did recieve an A in his class, but it's because I did the work. What makes him seem easy is he takes late homework with no penalty, and offers extra credit. He will also give you at least 1 point if you write in any answer on an exam so never leave it blank.

Zimmer was a great teacher. He knows the material very well and does not rely on the book when you ask him a question. He moves a bit fast in class but he will always stop and explain something if you ask him to. He's not condescending when you ask for help and don't understand. The grated work load is not large, gives makeups, and practice.

Great professor, very laid back and he curves every test based on the student not the entire class' grades. Always available to help outside the class

He's a very laid back professor,and he's very fair. He gives you good study guides when it comes to what to expect for exams.It's helpful he gives extra credit.He explains concepts well.Negative things about him are he rarely responds to e-mails,and he's not very helpful if you're someone who needs tutoring help in Math.

Excellent teacher! He's fair and teaches the material well. He has passion and knowledge on the subject. You just have to put in the time and effort and you'll do well in the class.

Very easy class I enjoyed this class and I usually do not like math classes. Zimmer helped me in class often to understand the information and I maintained an a them entire semester easily.

Just do the work and ask questions when necessary and he will help you. He offers you the option to improve your grade (may vary with class, im not sure). Classes are usually pretty short, but he goes straight to the point.

Math is a little difficult for me; however, Mr. Zimmer seriously breaks down each chapter so that you can understand it. Take good notes and the homeworks and test will be easy. I also would recommend not missing class because it is very easy to fall behind.

This Professor would come in to class looking his best with a t-shirt and a baseball cap. Made Math a lot more understandable for me and my tutor said that i was lucky to not of had him for calculus. But overall i am glad to of been a student in his class.

Very laid back. Classes were quick and simple. He didn't drag the lecture on like most professors. He gave you all the information you would need, no surprises on tests or homework. And of course he was always there to help. Don't buy the book, you'll never use it.

he was a pretty good professor, it was easy for me to get an A but mostly because i already knew the material. he got kinda mad if you asked a question but he still explained things well. not much homework and the tests were exactly like the classwork.

I took the winter session of this class. Though it went very quickly he always seemed to go back and explain as well as help students out when they needed it. He always offers people to come to class early or stay later for extra help. Hes one of the most helpful math professors ive had so far!

Good math teacher

Mr. Zimmer is a good professor. He's very knowledgeable and good at Math. He's a fair and reasonable professor. If you are someone who doesn't need a lot of help in Math, he wouldn't be a bad professor to take. I don't recommend him for people who need tutoring kind of help in Math.

Professor Zimmer is one of the most caring and experienced professors that Ive met at Community college of Baltimore County. He was always truly willing to help. I took this course on the summer June-July 2018. Just follow his instruction and prepare yourself using his review questions including his class to get knowledge and to pass the exam.

Professor Zimmer is a great math teacher. He is very understanding and is very knowledgeable on the topic. He knows that many students struggle with math so he doesn't rush through lectures and gives students ample time to understand the material and ask questions. There is a textbook for math 083 even though it's not mandatory but it helps.

There's a lot of positive things about him. He's laid back, gives good and fair study guides that prepare people well for exams, is generous in regards to extra credit, and lets students out of class early frequently. I recommend him for people who don't need a lot of help in Math. I don't recommend him for people that need tutoring Math help.

Very laid back, friendly, and patient professor in my experience; helped explain and work through problems with students frequently. He also let us leave early several times and did not require attendance on review days.
