He is SUPER HOT, if you like the "intellectual" type. Also, his lecture is easy to follow & actually keeps you awake, & he incorporates a few corny jokes in there. He's a very nice prof!

Out of taking 2 other History teachers, Mr. Edwards is by far the best History teacher that I have taken for history. He is so helpful and is a very friendly/carefree guy. He is always in his office and will help anyone. He shows he enjoys teaching and you will learn alot in his class.

Before his class I hated history, but after his class..it became more interesting...the learning environment in his class is interesting and not boring...he keeps you awake and he helps whenever you need it..definitely take his class

I took him for 1301 and made an A. Took another teacher, Kainer (?) and she was the most horrible teacher ever for 1302. Dropped her and took Edwards again. I absolutely love his teaching style and he makes class fun with fun facts and humor.

Awesome teacher. I took him for both histories and world civ. Is clear and precise in what he wants. He makes his lectures fun with funny clips and cartoons. Natural teacher. Read for those pop quizzes(easy to do). He also hands out a study guide before test with three possible essay questions. Helpful and nice. Great personality. Very cute too!

Dr. EDwards, is a nice man. He is funny amd teaches with clarity. History is not my easiest subject, but I was more interested then before i took history. I think one helpful suggestion, would be class participation, and class discussion, to help keep the class awake.

He made me enjoy History. He lets you know what you should read but it's your choice to read it; i never did. He gives you vocabulary terms and goes over them. He's funny in a goofy way and always makes everyone laugh. All and all he's a great teacher.

Best History Teacher I ever had

Mr. Edwards is worth taking. His tests are ok. I think I made b's on them all. The tests are mult. choice & essay. He is easy to follow & gives you a study guide. I never read the book & still made a B. I would take him again. You will have a map quiz & a book quiz & a paper though. It's not hard though...esp. if u take a night class...I did.

Dr. Edwards is a great lecturer. The assignments pretty easy and the reading is interesting. I definitely recommend his World Civ. since 1500 class!

He's really nice and he tries to keep his lectures interesting. He gives a quiz on the second class of every week over the chapter for that week. The quizzes aren't hard if you read, but do get annoying. His tests are fairly easy if you review your notes, and make sure you study for the essay section.

Great teacher. The lectures are entertaining and never boring, and his jokes are pretty funny. If you take good notes, study, and read the chapters you will probably make an A.

Funny guy and clearly a history guru. Makes history more interesting. You will pass if you do the assignments (which were just reading and the tests) and study your notes. Gives reviews. Tests weren't hard if I studied. ALOT of reading, but that's history course. I would take him again if I had too.

I HAVE TAKEN HIS COURSE FOR BOTH 1301 AND 1302. HE IS A PRETTY GOOD TEACHER TEACHING A BORING SUBJECT.JUST MAKE SURE YOU READ,BECAUSE IT WILL BE ON THE QUIZZES!

He is probably one of the best history teachers at Lee College. He is very clear when speaking. The class isn't just come and go and you'll pass.You do need to study and also in his test he gives you a review and on the review there is a choice of 3 essay questions which it is good if you write them before hand.

Great History teacher. I have taken him for both historys. You do need to take notes and study them for test. i never read the book and still passed with a B. There is that Hist paper though and a really good book you have to read and take a quiz on. Great teacher highly recommend!

He is really nice and makes history fun. He tells it like a story and gets into it. He is helpful and understanding.

Mr. Edwards is a great teacher! He is very clear and upfront when teaching his class. All the notes are on a powerpoint for you to copy and he explains as he goes. You need to be there everyday. Test are not that hard if you study the study guide and notes that you have. Hes a nerd and makes nerdy jokes but I think they are funny. Takin world civ n

He is a great teacher I look forward to going to his class. there is alot of note taking but other then that the class is great. you will learn alot and laugh at the same time. maybe get carpentunnel but great class to take

I took this course distance ed. Edwards is great. Unit exam study guides are given at the beginning of the semester. No surprises. What is on the guides is on the test. Fair grading on the essays for the exam. Communicates well and quickly via email. Highly recommend taking him!

I took this class online and it SUCKED. You basically read several hundred pages of a dull textbook and you're tested on it. The material itself is not difficult to understand, the hard part was staying conscious while reading it. There are also 2 quizzes and a book review. Edwards himself was helpful and humorous, but the material was BORING.

This class was easy and informative, He's a great teacher and adds humor in with the actual teaching of the subject.

I took this class online over the summer and it was very time consuming and his test were hard. There was a novel we had to read and take a quiz on, 4 test that required an essay on three of them, and we had to read a history book and write a book report! Get ready to keep your nose in a book at all times!!!

Purely a lecture course. He gives you everything that will be on the tests, and they aren't hard if you take notes and actually study. Very good teacher.

Great teacher, but by no means is he easy. You must study for his tests and he does require book reviews. However, if you like lecture classes with humor this is the class for you.

Lots of notes but test come off of the notes and textbook. READ your book for the book review!! He is a hard teacher but if you attend class,take notes and study, you will pass :) I recommend him.

he is a great teacher. helps you if you need it and works with you.. you dont have to show up to class but if you dont then you dont know whats going on with his test because hes test are over the lecture he have.. there is no homework just to read book so you can know whats going on the next day. Funny teacher he makes it interesting.

Mr. Edwards is an excellent history professor. Passing this class isn't difficult you just have to show up, listen and take notes. Very straightforward and to the point. No surprises on his test's and he even gives a review. I highly recommend him.

Edwards is a great professor, I enjoyed his class very much! What makes him great is he know his stuff, enjoys it, funny, very clear and he doesn't just tell you what happened in history, he helps you understand why, he almost tells it like a story. His class is great, just make sure you attend class, take plenty of notes, study and you'll do well!

Overall,easy class BUT you must study your notes. Be prepared to pick a book of your choice and type a 4pg paper on it ( a review) and you will have to read a book he will have you buy (under 10 bucks) and be quizzed on at the end of the semester. DO NOT CHEAT, HE WILL CATCH YOU! make sure to cite every quote, etc. He's an awesome teacher :)

Nice guy and very personable, but his tests are annoying.

Dr. Edwards is one of the greatest professors at Lee. He is very proficient in his field and does a good job of making the subject an enjoyable one. His tests are straightforward as long as you take good notes. Never any surprises on the test and he is very funny and charming. He was always open to answer my questions when I popped by his office.

I took him online and I liked him so well that I'm going back to take his Hist1 class!

He was a great teacher. His class isn't hard if you pay attention and take notes. His tests are like the review and notes.

Very clear and thorough in the few assignments we had. A few short 10 question film quizzes and 4 multiple choice and essay unit tests. Provided feedback after each unit was complete, and was kind in extending due dates. Read what you are supposed to and its an easy A.

I love Dr. Edwards! I took him for both History 1301 and 1302. He most of the class period but is very clear on what to expect on the test. If you listen, take notes, and study the review sheets before each test you will be fine. I made an A both semesters.

Loved Dr. Edwards! Wish I had taken him for 1301. Read the material, take good notes, study the essay questions and you'll do great. He assigns one book for the class to read and take a quiz on (if you read it, you'll do fine). You also pick a book to do a book review on. Great teacher. Very humorous. Highly recommended.

Taking his class was like sitting infront of a history documentary. He's passionate about what he knows and really takes the time to explain things. Also has a cheesy sense of humor.

Dr. Edwards is an excellent professor. Take good notes from the lectures and do all the assigned reading, and you will pass his class. Tests are multiple choice with an essay question. You will also have to do a book review.

Mr. Edwards is the best history teacher I've ever had. You can really tell he cares about what he is teaching, his lectures are very interesting and he is extremely organized which makes it easier to study and learn. I only had 5 tests, a shortish book to read with a quiz, and another book of your choice to review. that was the whole semester.

Dr. Edwards is a FANTASTIC instructor! I took his HIST1301, online, over the summer of 2017. I was so impressed, I'm taking his World Civilizations 1500 to the Present this spring! You get back, what you put forth. If you don't apply yourself, well, you just won't do well. I didn't make an A in his class, but that was MY fault, not Dr. Edwards'.

I really love having Professor Edwards. He posted all of our assignments and due dates online. As long as we had them done by the due dates, we could pretty much do everything at our own pace. Only had 4 major exams and chapter quizzes over almost every chapter. We also had to watch some film and take quizzes over that. It wasn't super hard.

Clearly states what is required for his class. Yes you do have to take notes in class . He puts up a term list at the beginning of class so you know what he is covering. The other term list posted online you gave to look up in the textbook. He does a book review. Bottom line do the work and get an "A".

He was a great instructor! Very passionate and clearly tells you what he expects for an A. Yes, you have to read. And yes, you have to write a paper. Honestly if this class is hard for you, good luck getting a bachelors degree.

Edwards is the best professor you can take for history. You should be good if you take notes. His test are straight forward, all you need to study are the term list he uploads to blackboard and the exam review (which has the textbook terms he expects you to know that he doesn't go over in class). Do the work and you'll get an easy A

I took him for HIST1301 and 1302 and as long as you read the textbook, and take good notes on the lectures, you will do fine. There is a novel that you will be required to read and write a paper and take a quiz on.

My favorite professor ever. I have never liked history, but I love this class. As long as you show up and take notes you will pass the test. He makes the lectures fun by using humor. I will be taking history 1302 with him as well!

Look no further for your history credit. He specifically outlines the material needed to ace his exams, quizzes and paper. It took me about an hour to read each chapter and take a quiz after. If you can set that time aside after work or on a weekend, you are golden. There's no excuse not to make an A in his course. I'm taking him for History part 2

Okay the only reason I almost failed is because I missed papers and was lazy because online classes give me no motivation, besides that: It's a very straightforward class, work heavy, but very straightforward. It isn't hard if you stay on top of the readings and PowerPoints. Very nice professor.

I took this professor my 1st semester in college online and I loved it! he was funny in his lectures that were on YouTube. He also gives study guides for the test which help but the lectures are what helped the most they weren't too long either just take notes and boom easy A+. and also assigned an amazing book I don't think I would have never read

His lectures are amazing and he's very knowledgeable. He knows his stuff and the exams are straightforward. Pay attention to lectures, take notes during his lectures and he's very professional. He cares about his students and he's got a great sense of humor during lecture. I would take Dr. Edwards for other courses, he's organized.

I'd definitely take his class again his lectures were easy to follow, if you take in class notes and follow along with his lectures you'll be able to get through the class. He also provides easy extra credit for each exam that can help you if you decide to do it. He's super professional and makes funny jokes at times about the lecture.

Attendance is a must since you learn all of your materials through his lectures. Will defiantly be taking again. Dr. Stuart i believe!!! 10/10 would recomend !!!

Professor Edwards is very knowledgeable about what he teaches. His online lectures are also very engaging, and he pours his vast knowledge out like a fountain ready to quench our thirst for history. He's funny, his tests are easy, the textbook is not hard to read and his one and only project is very easy. He's reasonable with grading, dates. 10/10
