Seems to just put the textbook into powerpoint. He doesn't take roll, so attendance isn't necessary, but he will tell you in lecture what he's going to put in the exam. The exam was kind of a surprise- hard. But since most of the class got f's, he changed to a curve. A fair prof, and very nice also. 6-8 paper.

Class is really easy; a few multi-choice exams and he drops the lowest score. Also, he gives you a study guide so if you just show up (required) and study that thing you'll do fine. There's also an easy 2000 word paper. Only thing is though, lectures are BORING. The stuff is interesting, but he presents it in a not-exciting way.

He needs to get grades back faster and give more thorough instructions for writing assignments. Other than that class was very easy for an upper division.

Make sure you don't confuse this Fresno Native with being born in Nebraska. He talks about Nebraska ALOT! Takes the entire semester to grade your essay from the second week.

Super nice professor, but does not grade assignments in a timely manner. Study guides are useless for exams, and he really stretches assignments out until the verrrrryyyy end of the semester.

I do not recommend taking this class with this professor at all. The harsh grading on the papers is actually insane, especially considering it is a science-based class. Lectures were insanely short (less than an hour) and rarely ever were worth going to, the lectures and slides are so long you never know what exactly you should be studying for.

I enjoy Dr.Mcfeeters class. He is able to integrate personal stories into the current material we are working on which makes it more interesting. HE does tell lots of personal stories which is a reason why I like the class, makes it more interesting. For Exams its arpund 4 chapters per exam which is manageable you just need to make time to study it

Great guy, great lectures. The only bad thing about him is his class structure. There was a paper due and I literally had zero idea about it until it was too late. Zero mention of it in the class. It was only worth 50 points but still, that is something that is necessary to announce in class about. Lectures are great, entertaining and informative.

He's a great professor but lectures can be extremely boring. Study guides are sort of worthless for exams. You have to read and fully understand textbook.

The lectures don't cover the material on the tests and is difficult to know what to study for. The professor gives assignments very late and does not announce them in class. He does not follow the syllabus, the class was 3-4 weeks behind and whatever he did not go over, you were expected to know for the exam. Would not recommend it.

Worst professor ever taken out of my years at Fresno State. Does not care about his students and only takes interest in himself and his google earth. Dude literally starts lectures 15 minutes late after ranting about nonsense. Do not take him unless if you want to struggle. Rather have taken chemistry than this.

McFeeters is a great professor. Read all chapters, take notes, and also fill out the study guides he provides for exams. You will need to study to get an average grade on the exam. Creating a study group to review answers on the problem sets before submitting them helped me tremendously. Your lowest grade for problem sets and quizzes are dropped.

He was a great Professor, always on time and ready to engage with students. The practice sets that he has are little tough so it's best to do things ahead of time. I believe there were 4 exams total when I was taking him and two 1k word papers due. I would for sure retake him if I had to.

Bros a D1 yapper🙏 But besides that everything is easy he doesn't assign a lot of homework. You just have to do quizzes, notes, and exams. The exams aren't comprehensive. The quizzes are easy as hell. But his lectures aren't good he doesn't explain the material right and he just uses an example and then starts to yap about something off topic. 😞

Beware of the papers. There are two writing assignments he assigns. One is clear on the syllabus when it's going to be given and due. The last was given almost last minute and no mention of when it's given or due. Grading on the paper is tough as well. Additionally there are quizzes but no due dates so be aware. Not this recommend class.

Lectures are posted online so you don't really have to show up to class but you do have to study and show up for exams. The exams are a bit tough but the quizzes are simple. The writing assignments are relatively easy. You have to keep up with quizzes and assignments on your own because there are no reminders.

I've taken 2 courses with this Professor. Great person, but I would recommend studying a bit harder for this class than others. He puts grades in at the last minute as well, so you don't know what your actual grade is until the week before finals. I would take a different Professor that teaches these sections if you have the choice.

Don't take this course. All he does is ramble about politics. Doesn't connect it back to geography at all. There's assigned seating. Lectures are boring and heavily based on the textbook so you could just read the textbook and show up for exams. Assignments here and there, but easy. Either way, you could not pay me to take this class again.

Semi easy class. The exams are in person and kinda difficult honestly but when I actually studied I did well on the exam. The lectures aren't mandatory but does take attendance for the future if you ask for a letter of recommendation. Quizzes easy, there was 100 word “ journal” you do for every chapter, easy. Lectures are boring he rambles a lot

I do not recommend this professor. He is a kind individual, but as a professor, he leaves much to be desired. The exams are difficult, and if you don't study consistently, you will not pass. The study guides are unclear, and most of them do not contain material that appears on the exams.

Professor Mcfeeters is a nice and sweet man. But as a teacher, forget it. He was hardly available. A majority of my classmates and I tried getting ahold of him for reasons such as him forgetting to post the Study exam! He has only graded about 4 assignments since the beginning of the semester so none of us know what grade we currently have.

Instead of focusing on the slides or what our few assignments and tests were on he would rather talk about politics the entire time and get into a little heated discussions with other students. He would also talk about his religion a lot in these discussions. None of this had to do with what was in the lecture slides. It was not a comfortable class

This class was very lecture heavy and the exams were so spaced out you dont really remember everything when the time comes. The class was stressful bc the homework he does assign is online and he blocks the answers so you don't see what you got wrong and learn from them. He is also very prone to making mistakes w the homework and not giving leeway

It'slecture heavy and exams are spaced so far apart you forget what the beginning was even about. The chapter applications were good but he locks the answers so you can't see which you got wrong and learn from them. He also takes the most recent score so if it's bad that's what you get. You don't need to be in class but if you miss class it's over.
