Knows accounting like the back of her hand; that's good and it's bad
Very partial. If you are not an acct. major, avoid this teacher.

One of the best accounting teachers in the department
Really knows what she is talking about!
Excellent command of material, helpful, sometimes goes too fast
Great prof. put our class ahead of the curve.

Very inconsiderate & rude.
Good teacher, moves some what fast
I have learned alot from her.
Difficult but fair. If you put your time in, you will learn alot from the teacher.
Very fast in covering material and not very helpful with students that lag behind. Brackney is a better choice for this course.
Worst teacher i've had here at WSU. she is rude and moves way too fast. her teaching style is not good. she expects you to know everything before she teaches you to do something.
Knows material well, but is partial to certain students. Moves very fast. Avoid.
Avoid.
She does move fast, but if you can keep up you will learn a lot--I did. Her class expectations are very, very clear. If you like instructors who truly convey their knowledgei/understanding: she might be a good instructor for you.
Great teacher does move fast at times but if you can keep up, you'll do fine. Her expectations are very clear! Great teacher over all!
She was an alright instructor! She's willing to help if you go ask her! Her tests are not that fair, however(mainly the multiple choice questions). You have to work hard and study! I would recommend her!
I would avoid her. She is just not understanding and moves to fast. She has not sympathy for students who work a full job and a full schedule. I WOULD NEVER TAKE HER AGAIN!!!
****!!! Goes way too fast. Unless you are a super genius, avoid her and take Houston instead.
She's a pretty good teacher and is realy nice, but moves really fast. That's probably b/c they need to cover more material from switching from 201-202-203 to 204-205. She definately willing to help!
This was the best class I have taken so far at Wright State. Her class is very structured and there is no goofing off, but I learned a TON and I did very well. Make sure that you study for the tests & quizes though; they cover alot.
GRRRR!!! I hated this class more than any other class I have ever taken. I was very motivated to learn about the subject coming in but after taking the class I wish I would have not had to take it. She is taller sitting down than standing up, ha ha
She's not that evil. The homework isn't checked, but she always goes over it. The tests aren't too bad if you study. This was probably one of the easier business classes I've taken.
She moves way too fast and that frustrated me more than helped. Course material was pretty clear but for those who don't catch on as quick, definitely not recommended. Said a rude comment half through which ruined my concentration altogether.
TOOK HER FOR ACC 204 AND FAILED!!! I HAD A 3.5 AND SHE GAVE ME A F! I WORKED MY BUTT OFF IN THAT CLASS. HOMEWORK IS UNFAIR! TESTS ARE UNFAIR AND FINAL IS JUST TOO HARD! SHE MOVES TOO FAST AND IS DOESN'T CARE TO FAIL SOMEONE WHO SPENT MONEY ON THE CLASS!!!
UNFAIR! UNFAIR!! UNFAIR!! SHE IS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!
Only prof that has failed me in 5 years of college Covers the material way too fast. If she suggests you change your major, tell her to change her career. Take the MWF or TR class , that makes it somewhat better. The once a week class is way too much work for someone who is working full-time.
Worst teaching style I have yet to see in college. What she discusses in class is nothing that will help you on the exam. Be sure not to take her unless you have a great accounting background and understanding
I loved this class and I want to smack who ever said that accounting was boring. She is an excellent teacher and she always makes you work out problems. Homework is never collected. She makes this subject easier than it really is1
Do not agree with her teaching style. Does not let students know what they need to concentrate on in order to pass the exams. Avoid her class if by nature you are not an A student. The class ave. exam scores tend to be very low!!!!!!!!
I like her as a prof. I thought she did a good job teaching the material. She moves fast, but that is no reason why you should think the class is hard. She gives a review sheet for the tests and if you study material on sheet, you will do very well!
I don't know why many people don't like Sue Terzian. Coming into this class, I was afraid b/c of all the stupid comments. WRONG, I understood EVERYTHING she explained. She is one heck of a teacher. I love her. I would definitely take her for ACC 307 if she taught that class. NO KIDDING!
I liked her teaching style. She lectures on a concept and then does an example. She's very willing to help you understand. Goes over the quizzes and tests to show you what you don't know.
ok lets face it, accounting sucks, the material is so simple its hard, and ya the class goes fast, but no matter who you take, these will all be true. Sue is a great teacher! Very helpful explains things clearly grades fairly and goes over stuff to make sure you get it and she doesnt grade hw
She's one of the best accouting prof at wsu. She's very stright forward and she'll be willing to help you if u need help. She really made accounting easier than it is
Very helpful; tries to make sure you understand what is going on; devotes plenty of class time to practice
Ms. Terzian had a great teching style and will not go on unless everyone understands the concepts. Tests are fair, but not easy, make sure to study for them. Also. homework is easy and helps your grade.
She was so nice! The class made me sleepy sometimes, but I ended up with an A. I missed class one day b/c I was sick and she really helped me out.
She's a stickler damn she talks really fast and covers about a chapter of info in 80 mins
Test are extremely difficult and harder than the material covered in class.
Excellent teacher. I really like her teaching style. She gives plenty of examples and the tests are not really that hard if you pay attention in class and ask questions. I have been in classes with difficult teachers and she is not one of them. I highly recommend taking Terzian for Accounting.
If your a good student, I would highly recommend her class. Her exams are easy as long as you have paid attention in class and have taken her advice on what to study for the exams. If you want an A, work extra book problems at home!!
This teacher was not any good. Her teaching style was horrible. You only have 2 quizes and 2 tests and 2 computer assignments and if you do bad on any of them, you end up with a D in the class. it is horrible. DONT TAKE HER!!!
Sue Terzian makes accounting very easy! She writes out all of her notes on the overhead and are very clear. She tells you what to study for each quiz and test! Great teacher!
The class was not that difficult. I love these comments, "well you have to pay attn to what she says in class". No S***!!! It is not supposed to be a bird course. If using your brain is too difficult...go put an application in at McDonald's and follow your destiny. I really hope WSU does not give out degrees to the whiny folks that post this junk.
She provides you with all the homework problem solutions and her tests are fairly straight forward. If you want to learn the material, you can.
She is a great professor.
Old school style of teaching - do the work you'll get the grade.
Definetly take her! I loved her. She has a GREAT teaching style. She is very helpful, dedicated, fun, and easy. I enjoyed going to her class. The others who dis her are just crazy. Btw I HATE accounting, but loved her class.
Much better than Houston.
Do Not Take: She is NOT helpful. I came to her office hours and all she told me was to read the book. I already read the book, that's why I came to her. I hate teachers who think all they have to do is sit in front of the class and do nothing. What does my tuition pay for?
She is very helpful and I think she does a pretty good job at teaching.
Too much of an accountant to teach it. She goes way to fast for students to grasp anything. honestly the way she teaches is just confusing. at the end of a class your head will be spinning. I would definatly avoid if at all possible.
Sue is a great professor. She does go a little fast, but she presents the material in a very concise manner and provides good examples. I went to her office hours a few times for clarification and she was very helpful. She gives a couple written homework assignments per quarter which are pretty easy and really help you understand the material.
Sue, is an awesome professor. She moves at a rate for a class. If you want to be dumb take someone else. She will use every minute. Read the book that is how you exceed. She knows how to teach accounting, if you have any trouble go to during office hours. A group were so confused before hw that we had a meeting in the hall with her.
Sue is a really good teacher. She is very fast sometimes, but there is a lot of material to cover in just 10 weeks. I would take her for every acct class if possible.
Don't get behind. Use the book a lot. A little fast sometimes. Overall take her, you will pass with some effort.
Sue has no idea how to teach, and extremely poor communication skills. Class time is poorly used. Exams have no resemblance to assigned homework or in class book work. In class Sue spent 20 of a 65 min. explaining why homework manager (a $16 extra fee) was wrong; this was a Fri before a Mon exam; Sun night she sent an email stating she was wrong.
I loved Sue Terzian. I was scared to death of Accounting but had Sue for Acct. 204 & 205 and found her teaching style very helpful - she goes over everything on an overhead and if you follow along and write things down, tests & homework should be very similar to what she does in class. I reccommend her for Accounting!!
I had Terzian for ACC 204 and 205, tests are very hard and do not resemble the homeworks. She does give enough study materials to get a B, but almost impossible to get an A. She messes up in class all the time then subtracts points for the smallest errors. Take Maggie Houston!
Very nice person, could be a much better professor. Easy homework that is graded for completion. Tests are not hard. However, she does tend to mess up the alot of the problems on the overhead. You must say something for her to correct these,if not, the material will be taught incorrectly and this may cause people to be confused.Overall, easy class
Sue is awesome!!!! I love that professor! One of the best accountants Ive ever met..seriously.
stupid teacher goes too fast and barely teaches just reads the powerpoints. all your grade is based on midterm and final! hw grade is only worth 4points and are waste of time. dont take her
test/quiz are so hard, she grades very hard! She teaches a new subject evry day n reads off the slides and expects you to understand the information by the end of class! Avoid her if possible or you will be lucky to get a C. You need to teach yourself basically b/c she expects u to already knw accounting when u take her class
Awful Teacher. Worst teacher i have had in college. She is giving my the first C i have ever recieved, and that is if i am lucky. ***DO NOT TAKE HER*** really... you will waste your time and money.
Sue is an awesome teacher and great accountant! She was clear and very helpful in her office hours. She is also very good-looking for her age.
I have no idea what anyone is talking about! Sue was one of the best teachers I've ever had. She only graded homework on completion and tests were exactly what you went over in class. If you paid attention and did your homework then you should get an A. I had a 98 in the class and I'm not an overachiever.
As a professor, Sue is good, but not great. As a person, Sue is A++. Remember this when you take other WSU accounting profs because most of the rest are JERKS!!! Sue really cares about her students and will do whatever it takes to help.
I thought the class was very easy. Prof. Terzian went over everything in class that was on the quizzes/tests, so make sure you attend class often. Grades consisted of: 40 points for completion of homework, 30 points each for 2 quizzes, 100 points each for two tests, 120 points for the final (cumulative). A good professor for my first ACC class.
Sue is a great professor! If you have any questions, she is willing to help you out. Tests and quizzes are very easy because the problems are exactly like what you do in class. Homework is graded for completion only. I had her for 204 and 205. Too bad she doesn't teach upper level courses.
I don't know what it is about this teacher but I did not like her style of teaching. She just flipped through transparency sheets the whole time and wouldn't even take the time to really explain what was on them b/c she had so many to get through. Oh and don't get excited about her having multiple choice questions on her tests..they're impossible!
Sue's notes are online and she goes through them in class along with problems from the book. Her homework is based on completion although her exams are harder, in which you must know the material. She seems like a nice lady and I would recommend her.
The best Accounting teacher at WSU by far. Very nice and helpful to those who want to learn. She has the tendence to go through notes and lectures quickly at times but it does not impede learning. If you have to take Accounting, take her 100%
First off, accounting is not easy. Terzian talks reeeallly fast. It is very hard to keep up with her. It seems like you have to know the subject prior to taking her class. She gives examples and homework, so i guess that gives you a chance to teach yourself.
I have no idea why anyone gives her a low rating. Accounting is an unfamiliar subject but Terzian does an awesome job of expaining it. Super helpful and truly wants students to learn. Could not recommend her highly enough
Very nice professor who explained things clearly and made sure to go over lots of examples in class to enhance understanding of the material.
I took her for ACC204 so I already knew what I was getting myself into: boring lectures, weekly homework assignments, and tough but fair exams (Multiple choice will KILL you if you're not fluent in the lingo of accounting). That said, she is one of the better teachers at WSU and I recommend her if you need to take both accounting classes.
I really enjoyed her as a professor for this course. She explained everything in a way that I could understand. There are a lot of in-class work as examples to use to refer to when doing the homework. She also will drop your lowest homework grade and test grade.
I took 2040 and 2050 with her and received an A in both. She is a really good teacher. If you pay attention in class and read the chapters (about 1 a week)there is no reason not to receive an A. Mrs. Terzian is extremely helpful and will meet with you on request as well. Her tests are almost exactly like the homework.
I have taken her for both sections of Accounting that I needed. I love her! She has realistic expectations from her class. Multiple choice questions are the hardest part on her tests. Be in class and study hard for the tests and you will do fine. She does drop your lowest homework and test grade.
Mrs. Terzian is not a very good instructor. She encourages students to drop out, she's not very helpful during class lectures, her grading is inconsistent. I really love accounting but she made it very difficult to enjoy and to succeed in.
She is a great teacher. She doesnt try to trick you on the test with pointless material. A lot of examples with answers to all of them. Also provided future accounting students a study guide for the 3010 Qualifying exam, which is better than what the department gives you.
She is a very good teacher with realistic expectations. She has us do group work in class, which is very beneficial. She drops your lowest homework grade and goes over the homework before you turn it in. The part that trips most people up for the exams is the multiple choice, so read the book and do the suggested practice problems.
She is a good teacher and gives accurate study guides and has well defined and reasonable expectations. She gives mediocre examples in class with poor penmanship. Book is absolutely mandatory I taught myself this class completely with the book.
Mrs. Terzian is a nice lady. The issue is her lack of points. She drops your 2 lowest homework assignments & 1 exam, which is nice but there's a total of 310 point for the whole class. Homework is only worth 2 points and takes forever. Multiple choice is challenging on exams. Always runs over class time. Talks as if you already know the material.
Sue was a pretty laid back person. If you actually go to class and do the homework and the suggested problems, you'll do great! She crams a lot of info into one class. I got cocky after the first exam and stopped going and I straight up failed the class. Don't argue with her, you won't win. Also, take plenty of notes!!
Pay. Attention. I would defiantly recommend coming to class. The book is essential because she assigns problems straight from the book to do in class. So be sure to bring the book to class. Other than that she is a good instructor. She is willing to go over specific problems if you have questions. All-in-all I would recommend her
when it comes to accounting its already a difficult subject, but its an even tougher subject when taken with Sue Terzian. no extra credit, in the test if you miss something than you missed it not even partial points. in her class you will be treated as an accountant and not a student taking and learning accounting.
If you ask questions, she will definitely help you until you completely understand. She is a really good teacher and a fast grader.
Terzian was an okay professor, actually kind of funny. Her lectures are pretty long and boring, but if you attend class, you'll do well on the tests. Study the reviews and you should get A's on the test.
I enjoyed her class if you goof off and don't pay attention - don't expect to do well. Pay attention, do your homework, easy A.
