She is very hard to understand. She doesn't teach well.

Always late to class. Always late to office hours. Never returned my email. Picked on me in class just because I didnt share her same views. Not very clear what was asked in classes. Who hires these people. I want my money back.

She is the worst English teacher I've ever in my life had. She never give papers back on time, you dont know were you stand in class because she is always late on grading, always late to class, and never makes her assignment clear, no clarity at all.

Shes late to class, late on grading, doesnt show up for office hours, 'forgets' to read papers. She cancelled many meetings with me. I cannot think of a worse teacher to take- I am going to the Dean of the Eng Dept. to complain.

Class is not good at all. She is very slow in everything that she do. She will return work 3 weeks late. Always late too class everyday. She is not worth taking at all. She IS TOO HARD. You will fall asleep in class. Save yourself sometime and do not take this class. You get a F if you take her.

This is the absolute worst teacher I have ever had,and I'm sure I ever will have. On the day of the final I finally got to see grades for my first paper and the midterm. I left class not knowing the grades for my last 2 papers. She is never available in her office and always has some excuse as to why things aren't done or why she can't talk w/you

Do not take! She is very unorganized she returns papers late. She doesnt let you know your grade until the last day. Her grading is horrible. Do not take her if you like organization

I had her for summer school and she was hard. She asked the class to read a book a week! Not only that, but she made us write papers and if they weren't to her standard, you do horrible. She was also late in giving out the prompts, so we had a few days to write a paper. I don't recommend her at all!

She can't spell and forgets what she is saying midsentence! The tests were worded so I couldn't figure out what the questions meant. I participated every day, read the book daily, rewrote my 2nd & 3rd papers, had conferences with her about improving my writing and made a B! Just a B, and I studied hard. I wouldn't waste your effort.

She was 10-15 minutes late on avg every day of class. She never returned papers in a reasonable time. 5-6 weeks for most papers. This class was extremely uninteresting and boring. She will work with you if are having a hard time. I would definitely take someone else if possible.

If you pay attention in class, read at home and write the papers they way she tells you too you will be fine. She makes you read a bunch of liberal, left-wing non-sense and pushes her political views on everyone. The majority of people in my class got low C's. I would avoid her class.

SHE IS HORRIBLE!! Do not take her. The lectures are boring, you have to do discussions twice a week online, and she has horrible writing topics. Tests have no reviews and she takes years to return papers. If you want a hard class to go blindly through, take her. I would look elsewhere.

She never teaches a face to face class and it clearly shows. She puts everything on D2L and if you try to do the assignment based on what she says online and get it done, she changes the assignment the day before it is due. She has a ton of random nonsense do all at once and she is an awful prof. Do not take her. I wish I would have dropped already

This teacher is awful. The class was not so difficult but she was an awful grader. I came to her for help but she made it difficult and she took forever to answer her emails. I failed her class and did not deserve it. I would not recommend her to anyone, you will fail.

I really didn't like class. you really don't need to show up to class, but she takes attendance and it's really annoying. Also, she will change the dates of papers way too often even though she states it in the syllabus. Get ready to be confused most of the time. Don't ever take this professor!

This has to be the worst class I have ever taken. If you have a life DO NOT take this class. You have to be practically glued to the computer to pass. She sends out daily emails that contradict to the time you have to take an exam. At midterms we still had no grades posted and already another paper due with no feedback from the first.

WORST PROFESSOR EVER! DO NOT TAKE!!!! She does not grade until the day before grades are do! Since she doesnt grade you think youre doing good In the class then during the summer she will return grades and fail you on it and shell expect you to have time to email her a corrected paper for little points. Too much work to learn nothing!

Im an A student who always tries to learn from my mistakes; however, out of the three papers she only graded one. Her test are extremely long and specific so be ready to pull quotes from over twenty stories. Since she doesnt put grades in you dont know if your learning or not. I never had the chance to learn from my mistakes.

Professor Whatley is a kind professor but she is really unorganized. It's the day before finals are over and still haven't seen a grade for any of the papers I have turned in this semester. If she was organized and more up to date her class wouldn't be that bad, but her "flighty" mind set really messes the class completely up. Take another class.

She has a weekly chat that you have to be a part of (every Tue at 10 am) and then on top of that, there's a weekly discussion. Honestly, it's too much reading for a single class. Goodluck.

This professor is incredibly unorganized. Dr. Whatley requires a live chat every Wednesday for attendance and if you miss it adds an assignment to your course work. I do not recommend anyone take her course. Do not expect any grades to come back in a timely manner. I'm in my fourth week and still haven't received feedback for my first essay.

This professor is very disorganized. Any papers or assignments you do will not be graded for sometimes months. This makes improving by feedback difficult, as you are basically relying on peer reviews. In the modules you will need to review the assignments for due dates as they are scattered.

She's a nice lady and all but she was very slow, never taught anything on topic, was insensitive, and did not give back grades until after finals week ended. I had an issue where after asking for an extension on a portfolio she never graded it and nearly failed me for the semester. TW eating disorders are discussed in class

This professor is that absolute professor I have ever had. She grades assignments late and never gives adequate feedback that relates to anything. Never in my college career would I ever think about considering taking her again because she genuinely is completely and honestly awful.

Dr. Sue Whatley is one of the worst professors I've taken from. She not only takes eternity to grade assignments, she gives each student the same feedback except with very different grades. She assigns lot's of work; which isn't a problem, but she gives minimal instruction.

Not only are her rubrics unclear, she also takes months to grade our assignments. As of right now I have 7 ungraded assignments dating back to September 7. She makes us sit in her classroom until class is over even if she isn't lecturing. HOWEVER, she was a very sweet lady when it came to deadlines and did extend a lot of her hard assignments.

I would not recommend her classes at all, especially online. She gives practically zero feedback or instructions and won't grade anything until the class is already over. I can confidently say i didn't learn anything in the class. Also should be noted that i made a lower grade than some people in my class who wrote their entire papers with AI.
