Greaz excentric, willing to give of himself to get you to pass. He is a fountian of information If you get the chance to take any of his math classes, do so . I will be taking mathematical ideas with him next semester

Extremely easy! Class lasted on average of a half-hour. Explains everything, and is very helpful. Learned a lot more than I did in high school math. Allows retakes and will nto allow you to fail. Only professor i'd ever take a math class with again.

SOOOO easy. i just took statistical analysis with him, and it was great. It's suppose to be a four hour class, but he only used about two hours of class time..and gave us a break. This is all stuff you learned in high school anyways. So, i got an A. He gives make ups and reviews like whoa.

The only way to go. Statistics and quantative methods. if you don't get an A in his class, you shouldn't be in college.

for midterm and final, memorize his review problems...at least one will show up in the test!

His life stories are far more interesting then the math, but he teaches well, better then any other math teachers i had before

FIT shoule be proud of having him teaching at the school... excellent class...

I had him this year, winter/06. He is the most coolest professor you will ever have. His class can be very easy but at the same time, you earn alot thru his lessons. Funny, and laid back A professor!

Never got an A in math before, this man is a genius. If you really want to learn how to apply the subject, then take his courses. He is a kind and very intelligent man who the other professors are jealous of because his students LOVE him so much. Everyone in my section was doing well while the other sections were failing. TAKE ALL OF HIS CLASSES

Wonderful professor! it's hard to understand him sometimes, but then again i was learning stuff i knew in sixth grade. he tells great stories and is actually a legit professor. I sometimes wonder why he wastes him time teaching at FIT.

so easy. he taught us weird physics stuff but he gave us the exam question which are only 10 and they are so easy! I finished the first exam in 5 minutes and I got 11.5 out of 12 only because I made a careless mistake on adding... he also let us out at least an hour early if not 2 and half hours early!

great professor. you will lear a lot from him. eventho math isnt my thing, i still found his class enjoyable and informative.

Great Prof., he's very funny and understanding. No text book. Most of the time got out of class 1-2 hrs. early. Nice guy, with some very interesting stories.

amazing teacher...in class for 25 mins max..lets you re-take test till you pass attendance isnt pushed on, you go to class cause hes a cool guy and you know you will only be there for 20 mins : )

I LOVE this Prof Catto. Easy math class and he has so many interesting stories. He's a super smart he used to be a professor of Physics at Yale and he has written so many books love him

TAKE HIM TAKE HIM TAKE HIM! he's the best math teacher out there. No matter how much you dislike math, you'll LOVE his class. I don't want this semester to end because of him. Believe me, you'll be happy that you're in his class. Even though he doesn't give hw, you learn a lot in his class and the best part is that he lets you out very early!

If you need to take a math class and hate math, you'll be happy that you took it with him! He's incredibly smart and understands that most of his students are taking this class solely because they have to. He makes math as interesting as humanly possible and makes his class impossible to fail.

The best hands down! Smart and goes over the assignment 1000 times if you need him to. He's there to make sure you understand math and he has done an amazing job with helping someone like myself who's dumb in math.

The epidemy of an "easy A". Do not take this class if you are concerned about getting your moneys worth in regards to how much you actually learn.

This guy is terrific, best teacher, he gives you help whenever and wherever. Just ask him something he gives 10 examples until it is all clear. Wish I had more profs like him. If you hate math, then you will love this guy! He teaches it in a way that is interesting and clarifies it well. No homework! No text book! He is very smart and very helpful. You will not fail this course unless you are a complete idiot and even if you are, you can probably still pass! Sultan Catto is the best math instructor I ever had!!! A+++

here it is. if you can take him during the summer, like i did. no textbook, no homework. only a final after he ended up canceling the midterm. he's super clear and he gave the formulas for the final so no need to memorize them. he even knew what was on the final since he didnt change anything. yes he is that easy easiest A you'll get at fit.

If you hate math,this is the teacher you should take. He is amazing, and when I say AMAZING, I mean it. Like as soon as he writes on the board you understand it. There's no barrier and there's something about him that makes it so easy for you to learn. He has so many amazing stories and he's such an incredible teacher! TAKE HIM TAKE HIM TAKE HIM.

He is the BEST professor at FIT! I absolutely loved his statistics class he made it fun and interesting. I am extremely bad at math and the fact that I got an A in his class just proves he knows how to teach well because I never get As in math. I hope I can take him again for MA311. P.S he lets us out early + he tells interesting stories.TAKE HIM!!

If you want an A, take him!!! Best professor ever! He is a math genius so he could care less about an FIT math project. He is constantly taking about Harvard, Yale, Colombia, etc. and all the projects he is working on. Class is very dry, but if you want an A, you will deal with it.

Best and easiest professor at FIT! This man is filled with so much knowledge you will learn about math but also how the world works. If you actually listen to him when he's not talking about math you'll be amazed. Never kept us the full time, taught material in a way his students would understand, midterm and final is all he grades you on.

I loved him, I've had a rough time with teachers these past few months but he is the top three on my list. He is amazing at math and teaches it in a way thats so easy to understand. Theres only two mid-terms (don't freak out) he prepares you. He also talks about outside knowledge he is beyond brilliant! He's also really kind, would take again!

Took him for the summer by far the easiest. The first week or two we had a sub, which was a complete moron and made it hard to understand the material. Professor taught it the easy and fast way to understand the material. would go over the work multiple times before moving on. Lay back and fun. I really enjoy and a pleasant surprise.

Most amazing professor! I really enjoyed going to his class twice a week. As somebody who was never good at math (especially stats), he made it seem easy! This class was so relaxing & enjoyable because nobody ever struggled learning the material. He is so knowledgable and insightful. Loved hearing about his stories & life experiences!

This man is a literal GENIUS, I'm surprised he doesn't have a Nobel prize. He's super easy going and kind. He explains all topics very clearly and it's impossible to fail his class. He has some really interesting life stories too. You only have to take three tests in his class, no homework, no textbook, he occasionally takes attendance.

The easiest class ever, grades are based off of 3 exams. The questions are given to you a week before the exam, just different numbers. No textbook needed and the exams were super easy. You don't have to go to class if you know how to do the problems, just ask someone else for the notes. He also lets you out early with breaks too.

I had Professor Catto for stats over the summer and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We had a sub for the first week but after that is was such as easy and relaxing class. No textbook and no homework just one final with 5 questions given to you beforehand. Lets out early with breaks and he is so kind and smart. Hope to take him again.

Do not take statistics with any other professor because Professor Catto makes everything so easy to comprehend. I never struggled in this class and hope to have him for any other math class I need to take. You have to try hard to not do well in his class. He tells lots of interesting stories and you always get out at least an hour early.

He gives his students background info of the math in which he teaches and begins with spoon feeding for those that are not math savvy. The historical factor was greatly appreciated because it made the class easier to follow and it became more intriguing than tedious. He is a special type of genius and a real treat, at least. And a easy grader!

Professor Catto is an amazing professor! He is definitely one of those people who are out-of-this-world intelligent (just google his name). For that reason, he doesn't believe in making stats any more difficult than it has to be so it was very easy to understand and I've always struggled in math. The class was never longer than 45 mins. Take him!

This guy is too smart to teach at our school. He specifies in physics but teaches math the easiest way possible. He goes over his tests before you take the exam. He'll tell you about some other things he knows about basic physics. Hands down one of the nicest and most kind professors.

Prof. Catto is possibly one of the best professors I will ever have in college. He explains the content so thoroughly and gives you the exact questions you need to prepare for the tests, there are no surprises. Besides that, he's brilliant and also volunteered to write a letter of recommendation for anyone in the class that needed one.

The best math professor that you could ask for. Grade consists of midterm and final. There is ample review beforehand and the questions are given in advance. Just take good notes and you'll have all the questions. I would not take a math class with any professor other than Professor Catto. He's insanely smart and just amazing. Easy class

I took this course as a visiting student as a pre-medical pre requisite and boy was this easy. I didn't open my notebook to study once. Perhaps this was the easiest class I've taken since like elementary school. Only issue is the professor is condescending as if he was too good to be there. If you're pre-med do yourself a favor and take this class

Prof. catto is smartest man ik. I took his class because of his amazing reviews, and it did not disappoint. He is beyond smart, and aware of that lol, but never fails to make you feel just as bright. Quiet and straight to the point kind of guy. No one ever fails his class because he makes sure of that, easy, always clear, get out at least 1hr early

The best math professor Ive ever had! He is so smart and makes sure to explain everything throughly to his students. He is always willing to help with anything, even writing recommendations!

Professor Catto was a great professor but the exams were ehh. Word on the street is that even if you pass his exams or not you will still get a good grade. I am a true testament to that being that I failed my first exam and knew I didn't do so hot on the second one and managed to get a B+ in that class. Take him if you need that math credit

Professor Catto is the best math instructor Ive ever had. Im not a math whiz, and his lectures were so detailed and clear I could follow along and take clear notes to refer to later. His homework is directly based on each lecture and its very easy to follow along to. I was nervous because hes a GENIUS (google him) but hes amazing. TAKE HIM!!

Consider yourself blessed if you manage to snag a spot in one of his classes. Brilliant, funny, and so caring. Difficult topic but Prof Catto makes it simple enough for a 5th grader to understand

He's absolutely amazing. I have him twice a week , but I only have to show up once to take attendance, then leave. There are no pop quizzes, tests, or even finals/midterms. Literally, just watch is lecture videos and complete the assignments. Honestly, there was only 2 assignment the entire semester. His class is really an easy A.

Prof. Catto makes himself available WHENEVER needed and presented clear, thorough lectures online. Only 3 assignments are exactly the video lectures posted. He makes math EASY & understandable. He is very intelligent and demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the subject matter. No textbook is needed. Show up to class, though, to take attendance!

Not only is his class really easy, but he's also just a super interesting person. He's a published poet and just has really interesting stories. If you're not a math person, take him!!! He barely gives work, and when he does it's really easy and straightforward. 100% would recommend.

TAKE HIM! He understands we're not mathematicians so his video recorded lectures are super straightforward. He taught topics I learned in high school stats but in an even easier way. No midterm or final but 2 of the hws would be counted as midterm and final. Really interesting person & cares about students. Responds to emails in a timely manner

THE BEST MATH TEACHER, where do I even start. I'm basically a fan girl. He is the smartest man I've ever met. He has so many cool stories. Easy A, not because he doesn't care but because he teaches it to you so well! He will take you on adventures some days. AMAZING

taught each lesson very clearly and gave many examples before an exam. gave no hw and allowed us to let him know when we'd all be ready and available for an exam. easy grader. always let us out early! I would def take another one of his classes.

Great and interesting professor, doesn't give any homework and only a few quick and easy exams throughout the semester. Goes over every topic multiple times so you can be sure that you'll know the info for the exams. Also no textbook and no homework

overall hes a super chill professor! always lets you out early in a 2 hr class, no homework, & no textbook, super easy compared to other stats classes! only thing, he will waste a lot of class time teaching a completely different subject & the breaks are super long for just a 2 hr class, he also never posts grades on blackboard which is annoying,

Professor Catto is a great math instructor I took his statistics class which I was nervous about because I dropped out of statistics in high school because it was too hard. Turns out it is not hard as long as you have a good professor- which he is. I will be taking his other courses in the future!

He makes the class super easy to understand. I took one of his night classes and we always got out early. Definitely take him if you're scared of college math. He makes it really hard to get a bad grade.

Professor Sultan was smart and funny. The lessons were really easy and there was never graded homework. The only grades were exams but he would let you make corrections to them. There were 2 exams and a final exam. He would let us out over an hour early each class. Def recommend if you want an easy math class.

Tells funny stories in class and is good at explaining different concepts. Teaches the concept well but stays on that topic for too long. Didn't really learn anything in this class.

He is the best professor to have. take him if yo can fr. He explains things so well and the class is very easy. He lets you out very early. Also if you got less than a 100% e lets you correct your work for a better grade. Im taking him again next semester. Also only had 3 hw assignments and 2 of those he didn't grade

Halfway through his class and it's the easiest one I've ever taken. Lots of practice questions in class, and the material is super easy, even if you are bad at math. He can be a little cold and hard of hearing, so make your case confidently. Class can be either 10 minutes or 1.5 hours long, depending on his mood, but NEVER the full 3 hours.

Great professor, he let us out at least an hour early each class sometimes earlier. He would lecture and do like one example then we left. No homework, he makes sure everyone gets an A in the class.

Very easy class if you need the stats credit. Not tech savvy in the slightest though so he never puts the grades in until the end. Always lets class out early after doing two practice problems and taking attendance.

Amazing prof! Class is super light, no homework, about 2 tests the entire course. He'll review the same topic for about 2-3 weeks until you really get it. Does about 4 examples during the class and you're free to go. He always lets you out early, you'll be in there max 2 hours and it flies by, too. TAKE HIM!!

He's the sweetest thing ever. If you want an easy A take him he doesn't make your life hard which as a full time student that works is very much appreciated. He is very very smart but old school, no technology just a board notebook and pencil type of class. I enjoyed it would recommend him any chance I get.

I took the 4 hour stats class and he always let us out at least an hour early usually more, no hw few tests which are only a couple questions and super easy if u pay attention, doesn't have great hearing so you have to yell to him a few times but a sweetie who loves to yap abt his life

Sultan Catto is the BEST taking him was the best decision I made. I hated math in highschool so I was scared to take stats but he makes it so easy and lets you correct your tests. He is super chill about attendance and he's all-round a very knowledgable and respected person, loved this class. He also ALWAYS ends early.

Extremely knowledgeable!!!!! He has so much experience and good education. He would go over things in depth to make sure people understood. Loves to tell life stories. Wants everyone to do well in his class. Also usually lets us out early. Really good math professor.

The easiest class I've ever taken at FIT. Definitely not the class to take if you actually want to learn statistics, but perfect if you struggle with math. He lets you retake tests, always ends class early, and literally gave everyone 100% on the first test just because.
