Dr. Kim S provided a very positive experience with this course. His tests were extremely fair. Quizzes were short and easy and if you did most of your homework you received full credit. His lectures are clear and to the point. He does very well in trying to motivate the subject. Great professor!

Dr. Kim was extremely easy. I took him for a summer session, and he did not do a very good job teaching; but he had extremely generous curves. The quizzes weren't real hard, they came straight from the homework, and for the exams, most of the questions came directly from the homework; there were some problems that were identical.

This class is manageable if you know how to set aside time to do the assignments. Try your best to do the online homework and quizzes. Exams are easy to pass if you work through the practice exam and really learn how to understand the practice problems. You can earn 110 points on the midterms, but they're out of 100 (possible 10 ec points on each)

He is a relatively good professor but boy are the exams difficult. He is VERY UNHELPFUL during office hours, literally just shrugs you off. The homework is pretty hard too not gonna lie. Also his lecture slides need an update ASAP because when you go back for reference, they are essentially useless. good luck tbh

He's a good professor with a good personality. He is very respectful and chill. The main problem is, is that his powerpoint slides aren't updated, so you may have trouble finding an accurate way to do the homework and the online quiz. Speaking of that, those are a bit harder than they should be.

Prof. Kim is okay as a professor. Lectures are based on pp slides and he shows examples. Homework/Quizzes takes a LONG time to do. Exams have extra 10 points EC but you're gonna need it since his exams are handwritten (not MC). I didn't read the book at all and ended up getting an A. Pay attention to in-class and homework examples and practice them

Mr Kim is not a bad guy, but he's not a good professor. He can be very confusing during lectures, not a good explainer. We have one hw assignment per chapter on wileyplus but they take forever to get done. He writes the exams himself 10 questions, hard. I would avoid this class because you basically have to teach yourself to understand everything.

Dr. Kim is a spectacular MATH 380 professor. He explains the concepts concisely. Tests are similar to homework, maybe a tad harder. Make sure you do well on the first two exams, as the final unit is multivariable calculus heavy. 3 exams, worth 30% each, and 10% for attendance make up the grade. Grading scale is 85% A, 70% B, 60% C.
