If you studied, you would do well. Thorough tests that are not difficult to study for. Interesting to listen to. He is from Pakistan, not India.

All students needs to experience the essence of having a teacher who care about you and is willing to help and work with his students. Lall is the man at what he do. So yall need to take any class he teach, to actully learn in a fun enviornment.

Lall is an interesting paradox. If you study hard, you will do very well at the Lab exams, but poorly on his Lecture tests. Be sure to go to every class/Lab (he gives out extra credit) and be sure to complete all lab assignments.

I would recommend this teacher to anyone. He is extremely helpful and is always willing to explain things until you understand. He is a very nice man and makes bacteria actually interesting, which I thought could never be possible.

Very well spoken and clear in his presentation of class materials. Offers more than enough extra credit to students to cover any shortfalls on tests. I would recommend him any day.

Mr. Lall Keeps the class room very exciting. You will not be bored. Yes, he is very very handsome not hard on the eyes. THE MAN IS FINE....I learned so much in his class. The lab portion is pretty easy but the lec portion you must really study hard for the exam.

Sunil is a gentleman to the core. Very helpful and cool. He knows his stuff and always ready to impact it on students. Students need to be observant in Lab class inorder not to mix microbes up which could lead to failure. I recommend him to studious and critical students. He's a great man.

FYI- he is no longer married! THe down side to that is his wife passed away-I feel sorry for him. But it is very true- you must study all of the material he gives you plus take notes on everything he says. Lec. exams are hard, but Lab is fairly easy if you study the slides you make. He will help you if you need it just ask him. Take his class!!!!!!

I wasn't interested in taking this class, but he is an awesome teacher and made it interesting! I was very impressed w/ his class. He can be difficult, but as long as you are in class and study, you will do fine. He is helpful and will do what he can to help you understand. Great class!!

Mr. Lall is great teacher,hes fun, he knows his micro and knows how to teach it. He makes sure you know what is needed and will go over it till you know it. Tests are very overwhelming, very hard and specific, alot of information is covered. Study hard (micro isn't easy) and you'll be fine. Would recommend to anyone.

He is a very fair teacher....you learn alot......Yes his test can be challenging but he also gives extra credit. He hands you a clear slyllabus and also provides you his notes for the semester. ( take your own notes also!) As long as you come to class and make an effort ( and study) you will do fine.

Professor Lall is the best teacher that I have ever had. He knows his material so well, he is able to present it so clearly to the students... Many of the tests I didn't even have to study for becuase just listening to him in lecture was enough to understand and remember. He also has a sense of humor, hard to find in a biology teacher. Cute too!

Mr. Lall is the best science teacher at MCC. I had him for BIOL-111 and Microbiology and I had A's in both. Just make sure to take good notes and LISTEN! His tests are very straight forward and he is always more than willing to answer questions. He somehow made Micro fun, so kudos Prof. Lall!!! :)

For sure the best science teacher ever. If you listen to him and take notes you will pass all of his tests. I cant stress the fact enough that you have to listen, if you start talking you will probably get behind and you really dont want that in his class. The quizes are open note, you always get 100% if you took notes, and he has funny jokes.

This class was very easy. He writes down everything on the board that you will need to know for the quizzes and exams. Take good notes and you'll get a good grade. All the quizes are open notebook, and he reviews before every exam and tells you what you need to know. If you can't pass this class, it's because you're not doing the work.

Professor Lall is a good teacher overall. I beleive he may be a little to much into himself. He is very HOTT!! You must attend all classes. I was a bit dissapointed that we never had a lab, and were supposed to. It's kinda hard to pay attition because you can't get over his lokks! He has the most awsome hair, and takes alot of pride in his looks!

He is just what everyone said, VERY AWESOME! I enjoyed this class. He took the time to explain things and made quiz's and exams fairly easy. You do need to study but you don't have to pull all nighter. He used the book as a reference but I never used it to study out of I just went by his notes he gave to us. I highly recommend this teacher!!

An excellent engaged professor, who has enthusiasm for the subject. Exams are entirely from the lecture for which he provides an excellent skeletal note sheet. Any additional information you are expected to know, he provides. No suprises or guessing games about the material covered.

Wonderful teacher. I was kinda bummed to end the semester since I have learned more from his class then most other classes I have taken. You dont need to buy the book, i'd buy a microphone instead he covers everything on the tests and makes sure you have time to take good notes during class. I wouldent miss a single day, you would miss alot.

What can I say? His lab became my favorite place to be. I loved this class so much that it made me change my major. Who knew a girl could learn to love growing bacteria. This was my favorite class! Very interesting. He was an excellent teacher. Need to purchase the lab and lecture manuel only. Do not need the large green microbiology book. Take good lecture notes and I would recommend taking a voice recorder. He covers all the material for his tests and quizzes. Do not miss class.

Probably my favorite teacher that I've had so far at Mott. Made class very fun, but this is not a blow-off. You'll be surprised how much you absorb just from lecture, as well - he is a very engaging speaker. The tests are straightforward, no curveball questions, just study your notes. Definitely take him for micro! (sorry Prof. Hekmati...) =)

He's good, I could have did better if I had tried harder. the fact the I have copy down everything he say's, even though his voice goes in and out is annoying. I would have liked to have seen a study guide. That way I could've went back and find some things I missed. But that's just me

Dr. Lall is one of the best professors/teachers I have ever had in my life. He treats his students with respect and gives ample opportunity for earning extra credit and for comprehension. I would recommend taking him for Microbiology 156 over any other professor. He doesn?t take himself too seriously yet he is a professional.

Low-stress class. Learned a great deal in part due to his enthusiasm for the subject. He gives the class lecture notes to follow along with in class, xhich makes taking notes much easier.

Professor Lall was a great teacher. I was very nervous to take this class, but he makes it interesting and simple. He also relates a lot of the information to Pakistan, where he is from. This helped me a lot! I would remember things better when he gave a real life example (not just bio example)

Professor Lall is awesome at what he does. Just be prepared to buy 15 black ink cartridges because he sends out attachments every single day.

Best teacher I have ever had here at Mott. The semester started out rocky for our class due to Hekmati's illness and Lall came in and turned our class right around. He is working crazy hours this semester and he still never misses a class, stays ontop of everything. He has real dedication and loves what he does.He is clear/concise. Best prof @ Mott

Very cool professor. He gives you take home quizzes that he emails to you and they are extremely easy and straightforward. His exam review are verbal and I would suggest that you record him because he does cover all of the material that is going to be on the exam in that one lecture. But, it is very helpful.

I absolutely loved professor Lall! Micro is a difficult class but is totally passable with this teacher. I would take any other class that he offered if possible. Book isn't used in class and all tests are off notes that he provides and you add to. Pay attention and be sure to show up for lab and you'll do great!!

Where do I begin, Mr. lall is an amazing teacher. He is very knowledgeable about microbiology and a very sweet and nice man. Lecture is an easy A but, you do have to read those 20 page lecture notes in order to pass. Lab is a little bit harder, study extra hard for lab and you will be fine.

Professor Lall is by far my favorite teacher I have had in college. Lab and lecture were both very enjoyable. He is easy to understand and he makes it very clear on what content will be on the exams. His tests are not hard as long as you read his notes and prepare. He did give us a review day before the exams which I found to be helpful.

Man, let me be honest. I'm in this guys class this semester and I have to say he's probably one of the best professors i've ever had. He provides you with all the tools of success available right at your fingertips, its just up to you if you want to put the work in. Not a heavy course in any sense of the word, easy 4.0.

He is an amazing teacher, organized, laid back, and he provides you will all the tools to be successful in the class. He makes a difficult subject easy to understand. A textbook is not needed, however you should know everything in your notes to get an A on exams.

Micro was hard. He tells you what you need to study and what to expect, he's very clear cut which is good. But you have so much info (disease, symptoms, MOT, etc) to memorize and alot of diseases are so similar that it's easy to get confused. I loved his lectures, but his labs were iffy. I would take him again, he's nice and gave great advice

Hands down one of the best prof. at Mott. He truly cares about the students and wants it to be interesting. His lectures are amazing.. I actually wish they were longer than an hour lol. Honestly one of the best professors Ive ever had a MCC. He is funny and also if you have questions will clearly answer them. Lecture notes are the exact test, just have to study them. Would 100% take him again.

Professor Lall made microbiology very easy to understand. He knows what he is talking about and gives you exactly what you need to know for all tests/quizzes in his notes. You can tell this professor has a great passion for what he teaches. The content of his lectures are very interesting. Study in advance, there is A LOT of content on his exams. Lectures and labs are very structured. It is made very clear what will be on tests and quizzes. He gives you everything to make the class extremely passable. Its your own fault if you don't pass because you must study his notes and that is all. He saves you money by not using the book the entire semester.

I took this as an online only class and it was the best choice that I have ever made. He is an incredible teacher and lectures were extremely helpful. Also, day 1 of the semester he had every single day of the entire semester laid out with extensive details. It was extremely helpful!

Professor Lall's online class was amazing. It was so much fun and his lecture videos made the material so easy to remember. He allows students to work at their own pace as long as they are within deadlines. I finished the course within a month. It was great and would definitely encourage others to take his class!

If you do the work you can pass easily. everything is easy to understand and he gives a clear schedule. you are able to finish early as long as you do the work. Easy to understand subjects with informative lectures. it's all there you just have to do it.
