I highly recommend this instructor for the Basic Computer Literacy Class.

I took the class online and she was really great at getting back to emails. The work was REALLY easy but occasionally unclear as to what she wanted. I would def. recommend this class to anyone.

Great teacher! Gets back to emails within 24 hours! Course is laid out in a very comprehensible manner and lots of interactive online tutorials that help to enhance learning plus there is NO TEXTBOOK!!! Of course, to do well, all the online activities must be completed which promotes hands-on learning, :) Great Job!!!

This is a very hard class, but Ms. ****ari makes it very easy to do well. I have learned a lot. She is by far the fairest and most helpful instructor I have ever had. I HIGHLY recommend her and the class.

To me she seems okay when she's teaching computer literacy, the only class I have had her with. People complain about e-mail, but teachers have a lot of classes! I read about other teachers, and some say that a teacher takes 2 long 2 respond, and some say they are good with email. I've read how some say a teacher unclear, and how others say opposit

I did well, but remember that when she says the due date is midnight of Wednesday, she means it is due at the beginning of Wednesday, so get work done before Wedn. I get high grades just like the poster below me; what went wrong in your case? because I got an A in this class (basic computer and info literacy). As for the exam, I got about a high B.

Yeah, the deadline of midnight on Wednesday means that Tuesday is the last day to do the assigned work; at first I wrongly assumed that it meant the midnight that ended Wednesday. Get work done on Tuesday at latest, and then begin next work that is due about a week after

Very good online class. This is the first online class I've taken. The insrtuctor was very helpful and clear about the assignments and her requirements. I will be taking her again next year for Microeconomics.

What teacher did these other people have? Discussions are actually fun to do but didn't have much to do with the class. There is a lot of work to do weekly. Must buy the book even though it is given to you online, you need a hard copy. She types in broken English but still easy to understand. Final grade iso n the curve if you show some interest.

Took College Experience over Summer online. Extremely easy and great teacher. I highly recommend her for this class. She responds to emails quickly and helps you with anything you need.

I was nervous to take Macro but it was great. I really enjoyed her class, schedule, work load, tests, homework, everything was crystal clear and to the point. If you read the book, do APLIA, and homework, you will be just fine. Also took MICRO with her-the same, it was great. Highly recommend.

At first I was very nervous to take this course because of the negative reviews. Turns out this class wasn't so bad after all. Mrs. Kumari was very prompt on emailing back also she made assignments very clear. I ended up getting a C on the midterm and an F on the Final and my grade came out to an A. So easy!! Definitely take her for online.

I think the low scores are do to laziness. This prof is on her game and takes her job seriously. If you actually want to learn and be accountable for your education TAKE HER! If you want an easy A to not do any work find another teacher. I am an accounting major so I really needed to learn this info so she was the best pick for me.

Lazy guys stay away. If you have been pampered in high school and told you are the best. Do not be surprised. In a culture where pampering is so prevalent you will be welcomed to objective reality. I mean "objective" not opinions but evidence. Guys if the test is a multiple choice how can a prof fail you because it is not an essay but "objective".

Two tests (at home). Crossword puzzles,Aplia activity and discussions. Do Not expect Economics to be easy you have to spend some time to understand the concepts. In all class with this Teacher is not hard she loves the subject and explains in detail. good luck

I took her Macro course, and loved it! The material was interesting,online alpha was tough but informative. She posted tons of YouTube stuff to learn the material. Every few weeks you post a 350-word,150-reply... super easy. I took her Micro over the summer, time CONSUMING! book was awful but could pass the it blindfolded. would take her again.

Most of the class I didn't listen to a word she said and just did my work out of the book. It's pretty much an online class, but you can go to class for the lecture. Her layout and assignments are mostly easy. You can use your book for every assignment (including exams). I'll be taking her micro class next semester online.

Took her for macro economics as well. Received and "A" in both classes. You get what you put into it when it comes to online classes. The tests are more difficult, but she gives you a whopping extra credit at the end of course. She responds quickly to emails. Syllabus is clear. Follow it and you will be fine. Discussions are easy! Would take again.

I am on the fence about this class/professor. I work very well autonomously and her homework requirements were very reasonable (took summer 8wk course). 3 attempts to answer hw questions, and 3 attempts to pass quizzes. Written chapter reviews. Would have been an "easy A" except that the midterm and final were ridiculously hard. Study, study study.

Love this teacher, took her both micro and macro classes. Highly recommend, she always helped me out and gives great feedback. A lot of homework!!!! But easy to do - this class is an easy A if you put in the effort. I never did the reading (short attn span!) so the class is passable if you hate reading but like homework.

The actual class with Prof Kumari was very fair. Her aplia assignments are good - well written and just the right length. They take about 2 hours to complete each week. The issue I had was with her testsexams. They're a different language compared to the rest of the class. I got on A on every discussionaplia assignment, then D's on both exams.

If you do the work, it's not that bad of a class. The exams are tough though, get ready to study!!! I got a C on the midterms and a F on the finals, but A's on all my other assignments and managed to get a high B in the class.

I took this class express,12 weeks I think. Maybe that's the reason why I found it a bit tough. The subject I loved, but I felt I didn't have enough time to fully understand some chapters. If you need help, she is there, but I don't know that her guidance was helpful. Instructions are through and clear. Mid and final are a bit tough.

Professor Kumari is a good professor. She explains requirements from the beginning and gives great feedback on assignments. There are midterms and finals, but they are not proctored. There are 4 discussions throughout the semester and doing well on those will help if you are not good with tests. She is understanding & great with getting back to you

A lot of work. 'Connect' website was used for homework, quizreview each week. 3 major discussions. strict directions are always supplied but may be tricky to understand. Very nice teacher and always willing to help.

If you do all of your assignments, study, and put in the effort you will pass. She will not allow late assignments ever - FYI. But, as long as your try you will at least make a B. Put in extra study time for the tests (which are hard) you will get an A. Gives extra credit quiz at the end of the semester which is good. This is my second class w/her.

Never miss an assignment as she does not allow late work, and does not respond much to email. Do the work and you'll at least get a B, as an A is pretty difficult with her tricky tests.

A lot of homework is required for the online class, but should be easy if you do the required reading. Also, a lot of the information is available to study online. I also had a good response from the teacher every time I asked for help. I recommend her. Offers Extra Credit Opportunities. Discussion posts require research and strong opinions.

Not sure why she has such terrible rating. I took her online &she was a great teacher. You have a week to do 2 assignments or so &a simple definition quiz you can take THREE times. Do the work &you'll pass easy, she responds fast to emails &willing to help. Allowed me to resubmit an assignment i forgot to save. Just email her she wants you to pass!

I took Professor Kumari for both Micro and Macro Economics online. Her class was very straight forward, and she is an easy grader. Her class is laid out with an easy to understand syllabus and grading system. Do the homework that is assigned each week and the quizzes for an A. Neither the mid term or the final is proctored either, which is a plus.

I took Macro with Professor Kumari. The curriculum was clear and her grading policy was fair. Be sure to follow her instructions exactly and read her input. As long as you complete all homework, follow the writing instructions exactly, and read the text, there's no problem obtaining an A. I'm planning to take her Micro class next semester.

Prof. Kumari was a pleasure to work with. Microeconomics is a very math intensive class. I myself am not the best at math however, I need to pass this class to get a business degree. She helped me pass. She answered all of my emails and explained everything. Caution though, she does give a lot of HW but if you do it all you will pass and get an A.

Great professor i loved her. She communicated and responded right away class work is straight forward and you can work ahead. She offers extra credit but she is strict on deadlines and do not except late work, but as long as you do the work and take the quizes easy A one of the easiest online classes i have taking so far if you do the work.

I have taken both Micro and Macroeconomics with Professor Sunita Kumari. She is thorough, provides solid feedback, and is responsive/accessible (via phone, email, or in person). Tip: When writing discussion posts and papers, follow her instructions exactly. Kumari upholds the standard does not hand out A's.

Macro Economics was a challenging class. Expect to spend a large majority of your time studying. Discussion questions are taken very seriously, and you must follow the rubric exactly if you want full points.

The Best teacher to take for economics. She was amazing and wanted to help you pass. She offers extra credit and everything is very clear on the syllabus. Excellent Online Teacher!

Took Prof Kumari for Macro and OH BOY... the work load is a lot. I took her over the summer so the class was over before I even knew it. Every week 4 chapters of 10q homework and 10q quiz + a discussion + an exam. She offers extra credit which I highly recommend and she's a solid choice but get ready for butt- hours (about 20 or so/ week)

Easy class and wonderful professor. Just do all the chapter assignments and you'll get an A!

Professor Kumari's online class is extremely easy. I didn't do any of the 3 discussion boards (4 discussion boards in 1) and I missed 1 of 3 tests (not proctored, aced 1 and failed the other) and ended the class with a B. Read the material, do all of the homework, practice homework, and quizzes and you are golden :D

Prof. Kumari had one of the most enjoyable online classes I have ever taken! Her expectations are clear, each Module structure is easy to follow and understand, and she provides personalized feedback. The course itself is tough, but Prof. Kumari offers generous extra credit, and no proctored exams for this class. Would definitely take again!

I don't know what all these negative reviews are, this class was very simple. Read a chapter in the book, answer a few questions for homework that are basically directly quoted from the book. The teacher is really helpful and shows you everything. Probably one of my favorite classes and teachers out of all my time in school, no reason to fail.

I wouldn't say the class is easy, but if you do the work you will get an A. 2 Homework, 2 reading assignments and a quiz every week but its not super hard. 3 exams and 3 discussions, none of which I would consider hard, you just have to be willing to put in the time and effort.

I LOVED Dr Kumari. She truly allowed me to love economics. I loved her discussions as they were real time and so interesting. I talked about what I learned outside of the classroom. This class is a lot of work but she is a fair grader. I took her both microeconomics and macroeconomics. If youre excited to learn , she is the best!

I thought Professor Kumari was very responsive and explained any questions I had with great detail. There was heavy weekly assignments and the class was difficult but the professor was very attentive.

Dr. Kumari was excellent! Despite this being an online course, she was always very responsive and gave amazing feedback on discussions. My only regret is that I never got to talk to her face-to-face! Course-wise, pretty straightforward. Moderate workload, but not too difficult.

First off, class was hard. But she is super sweet. I missed an exam bc of work and I thought my grade was done for. She gave me a second chance to make it up. Super super sweet teacher. She gives tough love vibes tho. 2 ish homework assignments plus 2 quizes a week. Also an exam ever 4 chapters. Her class had a heavy work load. Keep that in mind.

Professor Kumari is best described as a tough love instructor. Her class is a rather difficult and its not for the faint of heart. I seriously would not have passed if not for her help and extra time. I recommend reaching out to her.She provided a variety of assignments (Quiz, Discussion, Tests, Worksheets) and frequently brought in guest speakers.

She cares so much about her students and subject. Never met someone so passionate about teaching and the subject.

Mrs. Kumari was a really good professor. There is sort of a lot of work with the weekly homework assignments, but she uses in-class worksheets that prepare you for them. If you are a good student and communicate with her effectively, she's a little lenient if you have a minor slip-up with an assignment. She was extremely nice & I enjoyed the course

Professor K. is an awesome professor. She is very savvy in the material that she teaches and I highly recommend her. There is a good amount of work for this class, so make sure you look ahead. Professor K. will assist you in anything you need help with- and have a positive attitude. This class is on the harder side, but very rewarding.

With this being my first college class even and not being in school in about 12 years, I did not know what to expect. With this being an express class there was a lot of homework and reading, which I assume happens with every express class. With A job and a family, I feel it was very easily manageable by setting a few hours aside every night.

Professor Kumari's class is no walk in the park, but she really cares about her students. The workload is heavy, but the material is manageable with the right study tools like Unstuckstudy. If you put in the effort, she's willing to work with you.

Reading some of the reviews from this semester (Jan-May) is very concerning given the fact that I can respect the professor encouraging critical thinking. Yes, She did have discussion that needed 300-400 words but I found myself having to CUT BACK. She allows students to determine their own fate. Put in the work, reap the rewards.

Professor Kumari is sweet, responds quickly to emails, and is willing to help. There is a lot of homework, quizzes, and videos that you have to do but it's manageable if you put aside some time to get it done. Make sure to follow discussion guidelines or else she takes off points.
