This guy is hilarious. You wont be bored with his craziness. He has these methods where math becomes so easy. His tests are harder than the homework problems in the book so studying is required. Overall I highly recommend him.

Professor Namkung has a very unique, energetic teaching style, and if you are willing to learn, he will ensure you succeed. Highly recommended for open minded students with a desire to learn. Don't expect to slack and get a good grade. It won't happen.

he reminds me of some kind of math ninja. By the end of the lesson he will probably have chalk all over his face and his clothes. But he wont care because he's doing math so get out of his way! A very passionate teacher that will push you to be the best you can. I highly recommend him for those who are sick of the same old boring math class

Prof. Namkung is a wonderful teacher. You will really learn a lot from him. He helped me get rid of all the bad habits that I got from previous instructors. He does give homework to aid you in understanding the material. He is a little on the crazy side but it is a good kind of crazy. If given the opportunity I would take him again.

Whenever I leave Prof Namkung's class each day I actually take something back with me. He goes a bit fast but you can stop him if you don't get something and he will go over it again and again until you understand. He also has a very interesting and entertaining method of teaching. Find that out for yourself though.

he is a great professor, he helps when you need it. he even allows students to call him at home which i myself have taken advantage of..he cares about his students.. just remember he also gives points if u find any mistakes he makes when working a problem on the board.. altogether i would say take this professor if u ever have the chance

I never liked math until I met Prof. Namkung. Not only do I understand what is going on, but I enjoy the class. He goes off on what seems to be a random tangent and then uses some crazy way to tie it to the class. For once I can say I enjoy getting up at 7am for a math class.

The professor's stories are just one of his many positive attributes that makes him a unique sole and a motivating instrutor. Does he expect you to put in the work, show up and take life seriously? -"hell yeh!" as he would say. As an adult student returning to school , I find his high standards for a diciplined approach to learning refreshing.

Namkung was a decent teacher -he's way different most teachers esp. for math - he's crazier and energetic, the class was fun but learning wise it was alright: the hmwrk is so easy & that helps you the most, the quizzes are alright - not too bad - some are really easy, the tests are a lot harder than the hwmrk and quizzes. Proffessor Namkung once you hear this lastname you should definitely know that its a top knotch teacher. If i were to put value on Prof. Namkung it would be priceless. I have mixed feelings about Namkung. He is HILARIOUS but he will strangle you when he gets upset. You have to be on your tiptoes around him. But after a while you get use to him. Had to have a lot of outside help to understand the material but prof made the class easier by making tests open book/note and allowing calculators. Though don't slack off, he will call you out on it (He made students cry in my class)!! If you want him to like you, do well on the first test.

Sunny is a great great guy and a very passionate teacher. He absolutely loves to teach and wants every student to learn. If these are your intentions, then Sunny is your man. Professor Namkung is a chill dude. He does truly care for his students. There were times where he did go on tangents in class, but over-all he did try to relate them to the material in discussion. Pay attention in his class, it's very essential!!!! He's not boring like the other math teacher's I've had, he's fun, and very energetic. This professor was the best math teach I have ever had. He is tough on grading. He goes through each problem that will be on the exam perfectly. He gives you extra credit if you d all of the homework in the semester which bumped my grade up. Definitely recommend him.

Absolutely hilarious. I can definitely see why people could get so pissed off with him though. I wish I could take his class again just for the humor alone.
