good professor

He's not a bad guy. From what I've heard he's basically one of the only professors who actually cares enough to teach correctly. The other professors either don't teach, or put things they haven't taught on tests expecting people to know arrays and such when you've just gotten to if-then statements.

He is really good. He knows about the subject. He is really helpful.

I had opportunity to take Dr. Karmakar's class in Fall 2017. He is amazing. His class was very easy. His lecture was so basic, that students like me who doesn't have electrical engineering major, even can understand the subject. I learnt from his lab more than my theory class. I certainly miss his class. It was really a nice experience.

I took EET418 last year. Prof. Karmakar presented the subject is such a way that we could use this knowledge in our future. Now I am working in a company where I am working in the robotics department where this class becomes really helpful. I will recommend any EET student to take this class.

Professor Karmakar is totally the best teacher Ive ever had! All the reviews below are definintely real! Ive never learned so much in his class! This is my third class with this professor. He is one of the best professor I had. I never faced the issue mentioned by the A+(?) guy. Dude, if you already get A+(?) for a course, why are you taking that? This online forum is not a place to discourage others fellow students because of someones personal frustration.

Initially, I struggled to some extent, but in the end it was a good learning experience.For all the labs, he provided some baseline programs. It was a very good experience. If you understand and are aware of the subjects, exams are not hard.

Had for 113L, great professor, and will walk around and help you out with the lab. Sometimes he is difficult to understand, but he is knowledgeable and is more than willing to help you out. There is a lab practical exam kinda at the end of the semester, just prepare for that as well. Overall, really good lab class and a great professor.
