I took an online computer class and the assignments were VERY easy and cleary explained. Although you may think you know all there is to know about computers (like I did) BE PREPARED FOR THE TESTS! Just go over what he tells you and you can make an EASY A

I took this class on the internet. The labs are very easy but he doesn't really explain what to study for the tests. He gives awebsite and says to take the practice tests, but none of the material is on his quizzes. I ade all a's on the labs and ended up with a C in the class. VERY disappointed.

Class was easy as long as you did the labs. Took online and got an A. Only thing I didnt like was on his web page he tells you "if you are taking this class on the internet you are pretty much on your own" I didnt think that was cool. Did resond to a few emails. All in all a good class.

All other negative comments are bogus! This man is wonderful! Do your homework, go to class,make an effort and he will do everything to help you succeed. He doesn't baby you though... you have to work out the problems yourself, but he will answer all your questions. I took his class in summer and it was moderately easy (I'm an English major, btw).

This is a great math teacher, but very soft spoken. I took him in the summer and passed with the highest grade in the class, and had little interest until he helped me to understand. Grade A teacher!!!

He usually uses the same examples as in the book, however if you do your homework, go to class, and pay attention you can pass. He was extremely helpfull for me and would always explain for the whole class the doubts. His tests are easy. I would take him again for another class if i needed.

this teacher was super easy. i took him for cosc 1301.019. I got all the work done within the first couple of weeks once the work was done i was allowed to come in only on test days. this class is all basic computer skills word, access, powerpoint, excel. Really easy. If looking for an A take this teacher

Teacher was alright. Took him over the summer and went really quick. I didn't pay attention the first half and ended getting a B average in the class. His test and quizzes are easy compared to other Math professors at SAC. Wanted to take him for Cal but he didn't teach it.

This was the 2nd time I took this class... My last professor was dreadful!This one is amazing! A lot of professors have accents his is rly not bad and he's more than happy to repeat something if you don't understand him. test problems are straight from the homework problems he assigns! I managed a B in the class only studying a night before exams!

AWESOME PROFESSOR!!!!! im not good at math, but i really like now after i took him. the exercises on board are the same problems we had on every single quiz. he divides the 10 chapters, the first five chapters will be on midterm and the last chapters on the final. you dont have to go back to what you already forgot how to do it. homework no require

teacher was pretty awesome. obviously who ever gave him a bad ratting was lazy or something. yes he does have an acsent but its not as bad as people make it seem. i am terrible at math, i had to take 0302 twice and he never gave up on me. This is the teacher you want to take.

He is a very good teacher. He helps who ever needs help and he doesnt give up on you. He has alot of patience and hes really nice. HW isnt mandatory but if you do it you will better at math. HE give 5 quizes and the midterm and final. HE reviews for a week so you can pass his quizes and exams.I would totally take him again.

I took this class online and in the Spring of 2010. I enjoyed the class. It was difficult, but definitely doable. The tests (which you take at SAC) were hard, and studying the main terms/definitions were my biggest help. I did make an A.

Really good teacher all math problems are clear he is willing to help if if need it as long as you attend class and pay attention you should pass his class with flying colors. I would definitely take his class again!

He has so much patience. He will take time to teach you how to add, multiple, or anything elementary school. He does not mind teaching you or answering a question more than five times. I've never known another math prof who was willing to move on till everyone understood. He's great. He gives reviews before every quiz and there's no hw grades. Take him :)

A great math professor! He doesn't mind repeating things until you understand them whatsoever! He breaks down everything so well and reviews you multiple times for each quiz he gives you, I made an A and I've never been good at math, I definitely recommend him to anyone struggling in this subject :) Btw the book is very expensive and not necessary!

He is very helpful and patient. His class is not hard and he doesnt give homework but if you dont practice the math outside of class you will have trouble. There is 5 quizes and a midterm and a final. Overall GREAT teacher.

Great and easy teacher! He does step by step and if you still don't understand, he'll go over it again. He's very helpful! He gives easy short tests based on what is taught in class. You have to do the hmwk to practice, but he doesn't pick it up for a grade. You also have to do 1 hr. a wk in the lab for extra credit. Easy class if u pay attention!

In my opinion he is very understandable when it comes to math. He helps as much as you need it and likes to make sure you understand what he's going over. First time i've made an A on a test(midterm) in math since middle school so this should tell you something.Make sure to be in class everyday and write down exactly what he writes on the board.

He is very patient. He goes beyond his measures for you to understand. Sometimes, the questions he is teaches with are the same questions that are on the tests. He will replace a low test grade with the final exam grade.

I wish Mr. S could be my professor in every class. He is patient and knows how to explain concepts in simplistic terms. I hate math but he explains it in a way that doesn't frustrate me. If you are good at math, I dont suggest him because he goes as fast as the slowest student to make sure everyone understands. for the rest of us, hes perfect

He is one of the rare teachers who will meet a student at their level. In his own words he "has no problem teaching you 1 st grade math" if needed. So many professors have the attitude of "if you dont understand, you dont belong in my class". He does everything in his power to help you succeed. There is no reason not to get an A in his course.

I took his class w/o any pre-req's and got a great grade. As long as you MAKE AN EFFORT in his class, surely you'll pass. Compared to most other teachers, he's amazing. He actually takes the time to help the students. Only 5 WELL-PREPARED quizzes.

Prof S is a good teacher. He helps you step by step and has no issues repeating a step 10 times if you need it 10 times. Very patient. No need to buy a textbook because he will provide you with 3 sheets with problems written on each that are from the book. Prof S is a great teacher. He teaches you from the book and his tests are very fair.

I took him in a sumer 5 week session and he was a great professor. Before i was terrified to take math because i thought it would be super difficult. You don't need a book, he gives you reviews that you work off of. He is incredibly patient and alway willing to help. Would definitely recommend.

Great professor for those who've been out of school for a while, or really struggle in math. If you're good at math the class will be VERY frustrating because he only moves at the pace of the slowest student. He really cares about each student though, and he works hard to make sure everyone's on track.

Intro to Computation Professor "S" made a hard subject much easier, creating projects in Word, Powerpoint, Access and Excel. Very calm and helpful!

This is the best math teacher ive ever taken. He goes very slow, step by step of everything he teaches. There is no homework or quizes, it is only 5 tests and 1 exam, so you must study to do well. He is a quite little man, very religious, and will try to help every chance he gets! I would take him again in a heart beat

Very good math teacher but he does go fast. When he tells you it takes 1-2 hours a day of study after class he means it. Someone like me who had not taken math in a while calculus class was tough. He gives no homework just 5 Quizzes, midterm and final. If you apply yourself in his course then you will pass and if you need help go to tutoring.

Mr. "S" was outstanding as an instructor. He explains it to you in a way that you will understand. I had a "D" as my midterm grade because I didn't apply myself. I ended up with a "B" for my final grade. He IS there for you, but just as he says, if you're not willing to put forth the effort to understand it, you won't pass the class.

He explains to detail. Very fair and patient.

I'm bad at math. Absolutely terrible. He takes his time and goes at pace of the slowest student which is probably frustrating if you're actually good at math but it was a godsend for me. DO THE HOMEWORK! Even though its optional, if you want an A you need that extra practice.

Mr S is a great professor. He does go step by step for each math concept, but if you don't practice or put in the time for tutoring if you're falling behind, then DON'T expect to pass. No homework, just quizzes and Final. He does care for & wants all his students to "all get 100's" as he says. He does his part, just do yours. No book needed!

Professor S is an amazing professor. He loves what he does and gets you into it too. He will help you from the bottom if you need to and does not hesitate to help out with whatever you need. Before, during, or after class. He is a great teacher and I would definitely take him again! No textbook needed, you're notes are your book!

I loved this professor! He's extremely helpful and your only homework is to rewrite the notes from class that day and do practice problems (which you only need to do if you think you need the practice) He's lenient with grading and the sweetest man ever. I'm not good at math but I did pretty well. Highly recommend him.

You don't need the book just practice the problems he gives you on his review sheets and you'll be set. I received an A. If I can do it you can do it.

Fully online! It's a lot of daily work, but the course gave me the opportunity to travel with my family. Professor S responds quickly! He changed the deadline for the last 2 weeks to 10 Aug, very helpful. Students should submit their work on time but he will work with you, drops the lowest 2 quiz grades. Tutoring available on campus if needed.

Best Math prof I've ever had. Highly recommend, he cares for all his students and will take the time to answer everyone's questions. He deeply wants all his students to get an A, and dont buy the book. He will provide you with a packet of probs. Quizzes are very simple only a handful of questions. WOULD LOVE TO TAKE AGAIN!

This professor might be different when taken online, but I took a face to face class with him and he is honestly amazing. He is very patient and breaks everything down to the simplest way. I'm very bad at math and have failed this class four different times. I was able to pass this class with a B when I took it with him.

Time consuming. You have to teach yourself everything online, but if you click on "question help", you can view an example that is set up like the problem you are given. You can always get 100% on homework. Quizzes and tests have multiple attempts. Final is not proctored. Save all homework questions and how to work them, and it will be an easy A!

He was pretty laid back in terms of showing up to class as long as you did everything online by the deadline and youre always welcome to stick around for a lecture and ask wuestions if you dont understand something. The best part is even the tests are online and you get three attempts to take it again when youre ready. Very straight forward class.

Professor Shrivastava's class is quite the challenge but disciplining yourself and managing time wisely you'll accomplish this class; unfortunately, due to the current pandemic crisis of COVID-19, I was not able to attend his class on the usual schedule I was given, with his feedback and support from online tutors, I was able to pass his class.

Prof. Shrivastava is super cool and lax. He does require you to work on math hw through the program for at least 8 hours a week. The program he uses makes it really easy to understand difficult math. He always tells students that he is there for them if they need any help at all and is understanding of any problems you may have.

I enjoy the math class I am taking, the professor is easy to get a hold of and answers any questions I have. I would take another course with this professor.

Ive been stuck in College Algebra for 15 years. Its held me back from graduating. I took advantage of the virtual enviroment and Prof Shrivastava had a cool platform. Its done through Mcgraw Hill. The program is very easy to use. However He gives you several chances to Pass the Test. Very manageable. Easy B, A if you try.

He used connect math as the online program. the only grades were the 4 exams and during the tests we could view examples to help us solve the problems. nothing was proctored. TAKE HIM ONLINE IF YOU NEED TO GET MATH CREDITS OUT OF THE WAY
