I had professor Aguila for comp. one and for English lit before the 1800's, and she was one of the nicest professors I ever had. She likes to get to know you on a higher level than just teacher and student.Which makes it a lot easier to sit in her class because she looks at you as an equal, and not just a student. I would highly recommend her.

I've taken this professor for 3 classes. She is funny, interesting, and sooo nice. All of the classes I've from her are easy if you go to class everytime and listen to the lectures! She will help any student who needs it!

Prof. A is friendly and fun. Its interesting how she can get everyone interested and to participate without needing to push anyone. She's not one of those high and lofty prof.s; she comes down to our level so we can easily understand. The only thing I disliked was most of what we read had to do with sexual connotations or death, not much variety.

FUN! FUN! FUN! After a long boring math class she always built me up in a much mor eperky mood lol. She does assign a decent amount of work but grades pretty fairly She was just cool. I loved her class!

I took three of Mrs. A'Gulia's classes (ENC1141, CRW2001, CRW2100). She is an awesome professor!! I highly recommend her! She keeps class interesting and she is always willing to help those who need it. She treats everyone equally and fairly. You won't regret taking any of her classes.

Excellent teacher and fun.

This class is MAD BORING!!!!!!!!!!! All you do is read the BORING textbook all class period and maybe fall asleep for an hour and a half. The professor is nice and has a great personality, but crap it's boring!!!! I did not learn anything and I hated waking up early to go to this class.

Mrs.A is a very nice prof.helpful, grades fairly. I had her for comp. one she made me feel confortable in her class, her grammar tests are pretty easy.I learned a lot from her.Sweeeet teacher. take her.

Prof. Aguila is a very sociable teacher. She comes in to morning classes with a cheerful demeanor and and quick wit. She will help with papers, she will also return papers thoroughly critiqued (commas, spelling errors, etc). Her literature choices frequently deal with sexual innuendo. And do not fail to read the material, she will be furious.

she is soo nice! always cheerful and ready to teach. i dont understand though, i got As on every assignment but got a B in the class. that made me mad. her papers and tests were super super easy. i would take her again if i needed to! shes great

What more can I say? Professor Aguila class is easy! Just show up.. pay attention! How hard is that? I liked her class mostly because she wasn't a big stickler! She explained to you what you did wrong unlike many professors that just stick a grade on your paper! I must say you must read your book.. you will have pop quizzes on them!

Outstanding teacher, her class is very easy just read the material and participate in class and you'll be good to go. Her tests are very few in numbers (had only two tests the whole semester) and very easy. I would HIGHLY recommend this teacher.

Professor A is awesome :) She is very comprehensive and will help you throughout the semestre to complete your coursework.. I definitely recommend her to future students!

I have to say after a while I started to enjoy this class. At first I could not stay awake but I grew into liking Aguila's personality. I'm a math guy so English is not my thing but Mrs. Aguila is very bubbly and fun. The class is easy but a lot of busy work. Do your reactions in advance and read the stories. It will save you a lot of trouble.

Mrs. A is an amazing teacher. She genuinely cares about her students and will work with you. I took her course in Summer A, and I loved it. She doesn't give tests or quizzes, she gives one research paper which is very easy. Her homework is reading stories that were assigned

Professor Aguila is very sweet. She makes the class as interesting as possible, and she genuinely cares about her students. Unlike other professors, she responds to emails very quickly and is always kind. I would recommend her.

Pay attention in class. she's a great teacher. she keeps me awake! tells the most corniest jokes-sometimes a little freaky-but its still fun. i dont know of anyone who could NOT like her class. ps-yes, you will be writing essays but she grades fairly and usually gives you a chance 2 fix your mistakes-the highest grade will be taken!

Very Sweet! I took her for english 1 and honors english literature. She has the cutest sense of humor that you cant help but to be happy no matter how your day was going before class.

She's a really nice person, but she goes off track a lot and starts making jokes that aren't that funny. Class is pretty easy, a few writing assignments in class, but the midterm was completely different. It was extremely detailed and unexpected. Take this class because it's interesting, but make sure you study!

She's nice, funny, and sweet. The class is laidback and fairly easy (as long as you read, not hard people). Highly recommend this teacher to anyone who wants to get a good grade and have a blast doing it. Go register right now before it fills up!!!

she's really sweet. her humor is a bit dry, but you get used to it. she's definitely very unique. at the end of the semester if you get a high enough grade in her course, you don't have to take the final. i wish she has 1102 courses.

Do yourself a favor and take this woman. In a sea of stuffy, arrogant and condesencding proffessors, She's a breath of fresh air! She's flexible, funny, respectful and always positive.Plus, she knows her stuff!

Exellent teacher who actually loves what she does and cares for her students. She is great at explaining things and their is never a dull moment in her class. Test are pretty straight forward and easy becasue its all the things she talked about in class so all you have to do is pay attention and write notes (notes are not long) Overall AWESOME!

This is my 2nd class with Mrs. A and I could not be happier! If you need to take Comp I, take her! If you don't want to take Comp II take her for Writing About Lit, she is phenomenal! Probably the best professor you could hope to have. She really cares about her students, and it shows. Very clear and precise when teaching; adds some corny jokes and stories into the mix, but it's actually enjoyable. Tests are straight-forward, so if you've paid attention they're simple, and her paper topics make writing essays less painful. LOVE.

Professor A is by far my favorite professor. She is very understanding and will help you if you ask for it. She lets you redo papers for a higher grade and if you do well enough in her class you don't have to take the final. Strongly recommend!!!

literally the easiest class iv'e ever had. Might compare it to an 8th grade English class. 100% grammar. would recommend this class if your first language is not English. If you are good at English and are looking to learn something new, i would not recommend her.

Professor Aguila is awesome! She is very nice and sincere. She makes a lot of cheesy jokes and has a lot of fun in the class :). The class is very easy, all you have to do is pay attention, read the stories, and make simple notes over what she has on the board. A tip for reading the stories she assigns is to listen to audiobooks of them online!

She is an awesome professor. Easiest literature class you could possibly take at PBSC. I hate reading and didn't read a single story in the class and still got an A. She makes some really funny jokes. Just read the sparknotes for the stories and you'll get an A

Excellent teacher! Professor Aguila is enthusiastic about teaching. She is humorous which helps keep the classes attention. You will have to read, study, and write. The topics and stories she chooses are interesting. She grades fairly and understands that not everyone is cut out to be an English major. She is readily available during office hours.

She turned my thinking around and made me LOVE literature. Super easy class, she reads through all the storiespoems and then explains them. Very nice, makes a lot of jokes and is always in a wonderful mood. Tests are easy if you pay attention, you can use notes on in class questions, tests are relatively easy. No hw, but the book is necessary.

She is the greatest professor I have ever had! She really cares about her students! She is big on grammar and you write a few essays. She is very funny and she always shares stories. She will help you if you don't understand something, and she will keep you updated on your grades if you ask. If English is confusing to you, take her for sure!

If you don't want to get the textbook, the stories we read can be found elsewhere and the list is on the syllabus. Definitely my favorite class all semester.

Prof. A is a great professor! I've taken her 2 other times. AML2020 is the hardest class I've taken with her. You NEED to study for the tests. In-class questions are open book, open notes. The tests are not. Tests are 50 questions, quotes from stories, and about the author. One big project at the end, but she goes over it and gives plenty of time!

Professor A. is pretty Awesome. She does not like students coming in late but she is a great teacher with an amazing sense of humor. No research paper but have a 2 in- class essays and a few short essays but she give you plenty of time to complete. Grammar is very important. If you show up, do the work and participate you will get an A.

Very super easy class to take as long as you participate. You don't have to read the book as long as you listen to her explain everything in class. Easy to stay awake in the only thing is on her papers make sure you write correctly with punctuation and grammar and you should get an easy A

I love this teacher. She's the best. She breaks things down so you can understand and her assignments are easy. Her first test was a little hard for me because I didn't know what to expect. It's a lot of reading and writing and she does poetry, short stories and a book called Tuesdays with Morrie. Really enjoyed this class

So we started off with poems, short stories, then read a short book at the end of the semester. You need the text book for the short stories and poems. She reads them to but you need to read before hand because you discuss the topic. In class writings which are only a page long. Test are easy if you have read the material. Really easy A!! Nice prof

She's amazing. Funny and intellectual. Prepare to read lots of stories, talk about them, and write essays about them. That's really all the class was. She goes over everything and reviews extensively so if you show up you should have no problem passing. Fun class that was actually very interesting. Barely any homework, very reasonable.

Very funny teacher, really nice and sweet. Tests are based on readings and authors but are not very difficult if you pay attention to when she go overs the readings. There is a project at the end of the semester but its easy. Easy A. Didn't think I'd like this class but I actually did!

Shes a good professor, I just had her for the fall term of 2016 and it was okay. If you miss class or whatever,you do not stress because she recaps a lot.. Funny/goofy at times but she does have you write 2 essays every month that are easy. Overall if you have the chance to take this class, listen to me and take it. You wont regret it.

Professor A is undoubtedly amazing. I just got done with her literature class and it was very easy. Couple of easy short essays every month. Couple quizzes and a short book at the end. She is so sweet, caring, and funny. You won't regret taking her.

She was a great and funny teacher. She graded easily, so I never wrote in an in class essay under an A. Her tests are all written on the board, so all you have to do is study. She was so great I chose her over professor Dilgen who also teaches literature.

An amazing professor! Everything is writing, but don't let that frighten you. It's opinion based, and you can't get a bad grade for that! Her tests were fill in the blank and short answers. Fill in the blanks caught me by surprise, which is my bad I missed class prior. Please take her before she retires you'll never get a professor like her again!

Very easy teacher. All the stories used in the textbook can be found online. Explains every assignment well and gives you more than enough time to complete. Poetry is only in the first half of the semester. Lots of short stories. Even though the assignments are easy, take every assignment serious becuase one essay caused me a letter grade.

Her class is very easy. You take tests on the passages youve read, you have open book quizzes in class and have to do some reading at one. Participation is mostly telling her what you think a certain reading means.

She is absolutely amazing. I will defiantly take her again. She gives you great feedback on what your mistakes are so you can correct yourself. She makes so much puns and jokes that it really brightens up your day. I honestly don't see how someone can fail this class.

Highly recommend!! Would take again, easy A. One interesting project towards the end, two essays that are a piece of cake, few in class questions, and about six tests (50 quest each) include T/F, multiple choice, etc. You wont regret taking her she is a real sweetheart.

Professor A is one of my best teachers. This was my second class with her. The class consists of test, in class questions, and small project at the end that youll enjoy. Show up to class and pay attention. Guarantee youll get an A. Recommend this teacher for any class.

She's real sweet. Her class was an easy A but it's incredibly boring. All she does is sit there and read the stories/poems to you out loud then explains them. It's just boring because there's barely any interaction. There's a few papers but nothing too difficult/challenging.

Professor Aguila is a great teacher to have for literature! She lectures us on poems, short stories, narratives and the author themselves and always makes it easy to understand. In order to pass though you do have to read the material which isn't hard to understand since she always goes over it.

Take this professor if you want to learn a few life lessons. She doesn't teach literature, she teaches life. I wish more professors were like her.

Professor A is honestly a gem. I took her for the summer (6 week class), and she was the best choice I ever made. You learn about poetry, short stories, and writing about them. EASY CLASS. She helps you out if you need it. She is SO SWEET, but also upfront about what she doesn't like. Amazing class to take. She can give you such a good laugh.
