On top of that the majority of students I meet are terrible at it, including myself. But she really cares about her students and their grades, and has a great teaching style. Gives study guides and is also HILARIOUS! :)

I took her for an 8am summer course and received a high A. She's VERY thorough and will explain everything over and over again until everyone understands. She informed us of exactly what would be on the tests and more than prepared you for it. Attendance IS mandatory though.

Fairly easy class if you do your work. It was an online class, so not much face to face contact. Quick response when I had a question though. Even though I hate algebra it was pretty easy.

One of the best teachers I have ever had. She's fair, consistent, level-headed, and energetic. I've struggled with algebra forever, but with her help, I'm finally going to pass algebra with a decent grade and having learned something in the process.

Make sure you go to class and take lots of notes. Although she doesn't grade on attendance, she still takes it and occasionally gives participation grades from it. She explains things way better than the book, and also posts answers online to help you with the homework packets. Stay awake and listen and she'll help you with homework.

Ms. Billimek is an amazing teacher and great person. She enjoys teaching math, I wish she could teach other classes, but for now I am happy she made me learn more then what I need it. You will see how she will make math a fun subject.

Ms. Billimek is incredibly fair and a great teacher. She won't take any late Homework assignments, she listens to your questions and answers them completely. She's pretty funny too. :)

She knows her stuff. I took a 5 week course with her which was a little fast. All in all if you have questions she will answer them. She drops lowest test which helps too. Her methods are sound just pay attention. I would recommend her but I do not recommend the 5 week class.

You can bring a formula sheet to every test with anything you want written on it. Frist test was pretty easy but second test was very hard. I wouldnt take Data with her.

OMath class. She had no interaction with students whatsoever. She will not accept any late work for any reason. She will not use blackboardk.She did not require a weekly post, and I was very thankful for that. I would take her class again, but only in a subject that I can teach myself with the help of an online lab.

I had her for both College Algebra and Survey of Calculus. She is very helpful and makes it hard to fail her class. She has open hours to meet with students and is very good at teaching. She made the class very enjoyable. I would definitely take her again if she were to teach finite or data.

Really enjoyed the class. Class was lots of work, especially for a summer session. She is very accomodating to answering questions and emails.

Great teacher but the tests are very difficult. You are allowed a formula sheet for each test though. Homework is assigned everyday for points but half the time she gives you the points for in-class work, but always be prepared! Don't miss a day or you will miss out on a lot of important information since it all builds on top of each other.

While I did not achieve the grade I wanted to, she is a very good teacher that prepares you well enough to succeed. The tests are pretty difficult and while attendance is not mandatory, you must go to every class to succeed. She is very nice and helpful. I would take her again.

It's sad that I have to work my schedule around finding good quality math professors, but Billimek is one of them. You will actually leave her class feeling like you learned Algebra.

Had a great experience with Prof. Billimek! I took her summer Beg Algebra course. I found her video tutorials with notes to work along with very helpful. When I needed extra practice, she was only an email away and very good at responding quickly.

I am so glad I took Trigonometry with Prof Billimek! She is the best math teacher I have ever had. I'm not good at math, but she makes it understandable. She posts notes on Blackboard that you can print and fill out during lectures. Weekly homework due each Thursday, but not too extensive. Only had 3 tests and the final. She's really funny too :)

Susan Billimek saved my semester with her amazing comprehension of her subject. This was my second time taking algebra because i am awful at math. She puts it all in a way that keeps you engaged and helps you understand. One of my all-time favorite teachers.

If you don't do well on tests, you will not make an A. There isn't much extra credit so if you make lots of little mistakes, you will lose a letter grade. No way to make up. She is a great teacher though and she gives good notes and lots of tips. Will always help. Funny.

Ms Billimek is hands down one of the best math teachers I have had. I go to the University of Arkansas, but took Survey of Calculus at NWACC. Out of every teacher I have had in college, she is one of my favorites! She genuinely cares about your progress, teachers like this do not come around often anymore!

SHE DOES NOT USE MYMATHLAB. She uses a textbook. It is a TON of homework, but she is the BEST teacher. She assigns 10-20 problems for every section in College Algebra. Easy 12 points a week for attendance and pre-assignment before class starts. Gives you multiple chances to submit homework for full credit. She's really nice and nerdy. Loved her.

Ms. Billimek is a great professor! Math does not come easy to me (especially Trig!), but Ms. Billimek does a great job at working with students via email and in person when there is an issue with understanding how to do something.

Easy weekly homework but expect to spend 10+ hours on it. Online course, did not even use the textbook at all, which was a waste to have bought it(just needed mymathlab code for hw/quizs/exams). Overall it was an easy class but I did not study hard enough for the exams that's why I ended with a C. You have to STUDY hard for the exams.

Ms. Billimek is a pretty good teacher. She goes over sections in class and you have homework over those sections. Expect to have around 2-3 homework assignments do each week. She gives three tests along with the final that count for most of your grade and she only puts around 10-15 questions on each test. Overall a pretty good teacher.

Ms Billimek is one of the best math teachers I have ever had. One thing that I really appreciated about her lectures is that she often reexplained topics that may have been forgotten from previous math classes that were pertinent to understanding the new information. She is very clear about what she expects and the homework prepares you to do well.

SOC is not an easy class, but I believe Mrs. Billimek cares about our success. While I did not pass her class, it wasn't issues with her; I simply did not grasp some of the concepts. There's a lot of homework, but that's standard in online math courses. If you do not understand, get a tutor ASAP. It'll better your chances of passing. :)

I have never understood algebra until I had this teacher. I am 30 so it has been a while since high school algebra. She absolutely made math easy to understand. Step by step in the videos with the perfect amount of homework to help you understand with multiple attempts allowed. Always answers questions quickly. LOVED the way she teaches.

She is such a sweet lady and truly cares about her students. She would encourage you to stop by her office if you had any questions or trouble with the homework. She was very flexible with deadlines and you had two days and at latest a week to turn the homework in before she docked points. Highly recommend!

A wonderful math teacher. While Trigonometry is a confusing subject, I have had no trouble following her teaching; as long as you show up, pay attention to her in class, and ask for help when needed, you will have no problems in her class. There is no long or crazy homework, and the tests are reasonably straight-forward.

Shes definitely a tough grader, and she makes her tests tricky on purpose, but she let us do test corrections on 2 of our exams because we all scored low. shes a great teacher, she breaks it down to where you understand, but not too much to where its confusing. definitely recommend taking Calculus with her.

She is an amazing math instructor and is happy to chat with you privately if you have any questions. 4 exams (last is the final) account for 80% of your grades so really make sure you understand the material. She also makes her own worksheets that include example problems and notes so that is extremely appreciated.

Prof. Billimek was the best math teacher I have had in my life. I have always been fairly bad at math, but Billimek breaks down algebra into a very understandable language! My class used the ALEKS program for free & were the guniea pigs, but I enjoyed that system as well. The reviews look just like the tests, so make sure to do them!

Trigonometry is much harder than I expected it to be. Higher leveled math is always going to be a challenge, but add. Billimek taught the material in such a way that I scored an A, even though I totaled my car a month before finals, she helped me stay on track and worked with me. Would definitely take again

Prof B is awesome. She's got a great style and explains things very well. Took her for Calc 1. It's a gnarly subject, but she helped me out big time. Some of that stuff was hard to get, but she's got a way of making it make sense.

As of many , I was never excellent at math, and I was terrified because I had to face Calculus my last semester of community college. Let me be forward with anyone reading this, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE IF YOU TRY! Professor Billimek is amazing and her ways of teaching really helped me get through the semester. Prof. Billimek is the BEST math teacher I have ever had. She knows how to dumb things down but in a non-condescending way. She teaches as if no one knows any of the concepts so you can learn from the beginning and doesn't teach in order of the textbook but the way she does teach makes it easier to understand. I had her for online lecture class 5/5.

I took her for TRIG & CALC 1 both ONLINE i really wish she taught calc 2 she explains everything very thoroughly & in a way that "dumbs" it down so you actually know what's going on. she has multiple show your work assignments that you can go back and fix to get 100's, hwk isnt due till next class + 48hrs after original dead line.

Expect homework after every class. She does well at explaining concepts for students who may have more trouble, but it got a little annoying when she explained the same concept 3 different ways when you got it the first time. She cushions your grade heavily and is lenient on late work. Very sweet and loved her personality

Professor Billimek is one of the best profs I've ever had! She explains concepts so well and is very accessible outside of class. She's always there to help you and although trig is a difficult class, she made it as easy as it could possibly be. If you're looking for a good trig teacher, highly recommend Professor B!

Watch the video examples Prof B submits!! It will help you SO much! Her feedback on the SYW assignments is super helpful. This class is work heavy, but if you keep up with it, you will pass. Make sure to ask for help when you need it! She is fantastic at getting back with you ASAP.

I had her for the summer semester of 2021. Super understanding and energetic. She gives you opportunities for growth, but it is on you to really learn. If you don't study or pay attention you will fall behind. It's not an easy class, especially if you take it in 8 weeks. Expect to work hard for your grade. Awesome professor.

Professor Billimek is a great professor! I am not good at math, but she devotes a lot of time to helping her students. She was a good lecturer, and a lot of things made sense. Some homework assignments, but always had an extension after every assignment.

Attendance is important. There is really no pause in between for questions in class so take advantage of her office hours if extra help is needed. HW is always due next class period and she provides reviews for the exams which are optional to do. If you can master the reviews, then you won't have any issue passing.

If you do the homework and study guides, there is no way you won't pass her tests. There is a lot of homework, but it is understandable. She gives good feedback if you are doing something wrong.

Prof B is a kooky and brilliant teacher. She explains mathematic concepts very thoroughly and she made it fun sometimes with her passion for algebra. She is fast paced, so it's wise to attend class.
