it really depends on your TA. shes not that great of a teacher, she just shows you a power point and reads it... but what else can you do with a 900 person lecture? my TA only went over what people asked about... the final didnt feel hard, a lot was taken right from the quizzes... but my friends grades were all lower than what people expected.

I am a psych major so this class was helpful. She talks about careers that pertain to each unit so I figured out what my interests are. Read the textbook or you won't pass the quizzes. A few units were boring but she knows that they are so she tries to make them more interesting. You can be exempt from the final if you have an A for the quizzes.

SHe's an awful teacher. Very unclear and emphasizes lecture, but most of the stuff on the quizzes is in the book which she rarely mentions. TA's are all over the place and very unorganized , rarely have any idea as to what is going on. If you're thinking about taking Psych 113 find a different professor if you can.

Sue was by far one of my overall favorite professors that i've had. She is clearly knowledgable on the material and gives many details which to some may seem like rambling, but I actually learned a lot of valuable things from her. First, The lecture and what the TAs teach in class are totally different. The lecture puts you to sleep and you cant even get more into the topic during recitation because most of the class is taking the quiz. Second, the TAs dont use the textbook so dont even buy it. Third, unless you're a psychology major, dont take this class.
